In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

So this old pile is the place, I am sure, described by Roald Dahl in 'Madame Rosette' a lightly raunchy tale about young men in WWII. Or it its the setting for one of the encounters in Durrell's Balthazar, or both. I first came here forty years ago and it really hasn't changed at all. As we head toward 2020 yes, it looks backwards with fondness and poignance. There is a certain dark comedy about the cranky lift and the bakelite telephone exchange. But . . . the staff have this outrageous languid 'seen it all' confidence. Nobody is bothered. So yes, it is a wreck, but you have to love it to bits because its your grandmother's house. The doors and walls have seen stuff, heard stuff... Do expect: things to go slowly, a limited range of things for breakfast, creaky floorboards, noisy streets outside, cranky plumbing. Do expect: a slightly odd taste in decor that blends Swiss chalet with British country pub, all laid on encaustic tiles to die for. Dark hallways. Ghosts. Nice ones. Don't expect: slick computers, slick people, the generic blandness of any chain hotel. Do expect: the sweetest kindest funniest staff. All of them. Thank you.

The hotel is down from the previous level, the rooms are a AC-B لما I need a scent, or the Pearl Respension says a present, and the other one is a Yagi scent. I ask for a scent box, or the Pearl says, ”No, if I'm a scent in the BS.” Well, is it a talk? I mean, I'm a perfume or perosol, the home and Jay, in the name of a respected company called the public oil company. Of course, no, especially, and the bathroom -- God dear -- Maviush is a slippery, if you let them pay attention to the slippery, the bathroom for your restaurant, I'm not going to ask for lunch or dinner under the slippery, is it imposed on me, or on the slippery, and the water is not imposed on it, and the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the s With the whole meal together. A walk of necessity means every time we say Hatwa live a medicine Hatwa da Ana Lu in a normal or popular meal restaurant that you get off the ground with the food. Your presence is a big company that we're supposed to treat as big as your presence is a Jain Blasch, our company, we're going to walk with our beauty. In my way, your hotel is unfortunately bad at me and think about any Tani hotel contracted with the public oil company and advise my colleagues and friends, whether on the sites of communication or Trip Advisor to think a lot or not to go to you, and the idea that all Egyptians walk some of the garment in preserving rooms. There are Egyptians who are learning from them by foreigners -- so that you're here, and you're happy with them -- what it means to be clean and thank you.

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.

This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in Egypt these days. It is in the villa area. It is very stylish, very clean, and very quiet. If you want to live in a downtown area for shopping, it is not suitable, but people who like quiet must be very I like it. The price is 300 to 400 RMB. It is much better than many Chinese B&Bs at the same price. However, all hotels in Egypt do not have combs, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. You need to bring your own.

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

Nice breakfast on one day. Clean room. Convenient location to train with good walkability. But I expected more from the staff's local knowledge. They had absolutely no idea where a post box was, even tho I'd seen one myself a few days earlier and simply couldn't remember its exact location. Then, no help whatsoever in mailing a postcard bc post offices would be closed for several days. One day's breakfast was disappointing compared to only the day before - the place was inconsistent. Great walking location also meant Uber driver had a difficult time reaching us at one point in the evening, and we walked to them after some confusion. Lively downtown area also means a LOT of street noise. Hotel's wooden floors, doors and hallways were incredibly loud at all hours, and staff was loud in the morning. Bring earplugs.

Stunningly beautiful hotel in well kept gardens. Truly was so stunning. I had booked a basic single room however my room was gorgeous. Lovely and bright with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The swimming pool was so lovely albeit cold as not heated. I took off a few points for amenities only because it was Ramadan so the swimming pool was surrounded by couches and access to the pool was difficult. In the morning staff were limited as they were probably up all night due to Ramadan. The cinema wasn't open and I had booked the hotel to go to the cinema. Overall I had a wonderful few days in the hotel and would live to experience this hotel outside of Ramadan. I paid extra for breakfast which was adequate, nothing special and I bought sandwiches at the bakery. I didn't actually eat in any of the restaurants.

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. When we came back to the room very late, we wanted to take a bath and relax. I called the manager, took a look, and asked the floor attendant to clean it in front of us, but the manager disappeared without any explanation or explanation to us, and the cleaning is to wash away the hair in the bathroom with water and then dry it! ! ! ! ! ! The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Chinese Embassy. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. The doorway is a typical Egyptian street: the two sides are full of cars, leaving only one lane, taking a taxi to get off at a speed and not blocking a lot of cars. The only downside is that the hotel does not have breakfast.

+ Very good location, very clean, modern room, nice heated pool, very good selection of breakfast items, very friendly staff + they gave late check out for free till 4 pm when requested in the morning, very helpful as our outbound flight was in the evening - The directions at airport could have been better to take the trolley to the airport walk bridge (not hotel's fault). -The queue at checkout was long, so keep spare time aside to reach the airport check-in on time. - The key card stopped working at 12pm even though a late checkout was offered. I had to go to the reception to get it reactivated

Loved the Gabriel Miami!! Let me first start by saying customer service is superb! The minute We pulled up to the property We were greeted at the car with the bell man waiting to collect our bags and guide us to the front desk. Izzy who works at the front desk, had everything ready and waiting for our arrival, she was 10 steps ahead lol and I can appreciate that. Thank you Izzy!! They try their best to accommodate your requests. 5/5 for customer service and staff. Cleanliness of the room 5/5 and comfort 5/5. Did not like that the bar was close for the nights we stayed there so that really was our only con about our stay. I definitely recommend the Gabriel, two thumbs up!

Lovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

The previous colleague was pitted in the booking, and it took half an hour to find a big tree haha. Then the temporary royal maadi, the three-bedroom and one-living suite is suitable for three people; the front desk can live nicely for a week and send snacks, and I continue to live here.

Decent staff & cleanliness, nightly rate is okay but they have a serious pricing issue, for example; - WIFI is free but you have to pay for water during breakfast!! - Coffee is double the price of tea!!

The hotel is about 20 minutes' drive from the airport. It looks like it should be a relatively long hotel, but fortunately it is clean, the location is good and the service is okay. You don't have to go out of the hotel to get to satars center. You can just turn the corner and go shopping. Very convenient to eat

Great place to base out of when visiting Cairo. The rooms are clean and the staff (especially Anas) are super friendly while doing whatever they can to make your staff in Egypt the best. They've got connections and can even help with making tour recommendations and reservations. Best of all, there is no pressure to take additional services if the price isn't what you had in mind. They're very accommodating . In fact they are more of a family run business while focusing more on you as a person and less as a customer. You'll come as strangers but leave as friends.

The check-in process was horrible, I was quoted a different price than the online price, my bed sheets smelled and had stains. WiFi was a joke ( supposedly they had internet problems). When I woke up the following morning trying to leave my room for breakfast, the door wouldn’t lock. Maintenance guy came to assist me almost an hour after I asked for help. My entire stay was just a nightmare!!!
