Hotel staff were very helpful. Double-booked our room, but they found a place for us to stay the first night before moving us to our intended room. The rooms are old and you can see the wear and tear. Overall, not bad considering the price and similar hotels. The Conti Cafe, located on thrfirst and second floor is excellent!

My usual hotel in the Dokki area was full; the reception staff told me that the nearby Rose Hotel was certain to have rooms free and I can see why. The Rose Hotel`s receptionist on duty was ok but the fellow showing me two rooms on sixth and seventh floor was on his mobile phone when he picked up the keys and stayed on it through the whole process. He was a nice enough chap but the potential guest seemed to be a mere inconvenience to him. I took the more expensive, less grotty room. Later I found that the room`s phone did not work. Not an advantage for an old chap who`s had a coronary event. I went down in a fairly decrepit lift to report it. Promises but nobody came to fix it. Then I found that the satellite box tripped out roughly every twenty seconds ad infinitum. Down seven floors to find staff and friends with a takeaway spread over the reception desk, socialising and scoffing. Reported fault. Nothing happened. Requested an air conditioning remote control; didn`t get it. Bed was comfortable with clean linen. In the morning, where was breakfast? No signs to show dining room. No dining room needed. In a scruffy, dark and not too clean bar were four members of staff chatting. No guests present. A girl behind the bar pulled a boiled egg out of a saucepan and a bloke my age was coughing and spluttering over my three bread rolls on a plate. It was presented to me on a coffee table in front of an old, sagging settee. Having an aversion to chest infections through eating bacteria on freshly coughed on bread rolls et al, I voted with my feet. I saw only one relatively professional staff member and just a sloppy crew concerned with chatting to each other and doing not enough in basic duties towards a paying guest. If you have no other option, the Rose Hotel it has to be but I hope never to be in that position again.

There is a spilt A/C in the room. It's recommended so it doesn't transmit an infection of Coronavirus. No meals but you use Otlob Application to deliver your food. The team supervised by Mr Taha is very friendly and the location is very nice.

I recently spent four nights here and really enjoyed the location (close to the Pyramids at Giza, to Fustat (the ancient capital) and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, Cairo Geniza and Hanging Church, and also convenient for shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, the service typically warm and friendly, and the food was great. And for those like me who need it, the shower was excellent! There are plenty of spaces to sit and relax, the staff can't do enough for you and the rates are reasonable. If I had to find fault, it would only be the noise of the night traffic which is ubiquitous and hardly avoidable anywhere in Cairo. I warmly recommend it to families and travellers who don't want to spend top rates, but still want comfort and a little luxury.

My travel buddy and I stayed at the Aracan Pyramid Hotels for 4 nights as part of a tour package in Cairo. As backpackers we found the room affordable and equipped with all our needs: mini fridge, TV, air conditioner, and free WiFi, as well as fresh towels and toiletries. The hotel was in a great location, close to the Pyramids, and within walking distance of ample restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. All of the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and eager to help with any questions or concerns. Our stay even included complimentary breakfast, featuring a diverse spread of local cuisine, western favorites, and bottomless coffee. If you seek a safe place to rest your head after an exhilarating day exploring magical Cairo, this is your budget travel dream!!

The Hotel is considered as one of the best, hotels in the heart of Pyramids Area. It is about a 500 Meters walking or a short taxi ride from the Hotel to city centre and is 25-30 minutes stroll from the Egyptian Museum and Nile. This high rise, landmark hotel, has great of the Pyramids view. Although it's near from Tourist places, 28 KM to Sakkara, it offers a beautiful stay and top class facilities. Rooms are well decorated and all have impressive Pyramids views. The spacious rooms are well-furnished with modern decor and each of them provides a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy the hotel restaurant and relax on the open-air terrace while enjoying panoramic views of the Pyramids.

My friend and I arrived at the hotel 8am, and they were more than happy to give us early check in. The hotel is very clean and the staff are welcoming. We had a beautiful view of the pyramids from our room. The room is very clean and Hiba from housekeeping was very sweet and always going the extra mile for us. We had a little problem with one of the receptionist but the guest relations manager took care of it straight away. Iman the guest relations manager is very processional and did everything to make us comfortable I would definitely recommend this hotel.

As I lay here awake well past 10pm, the incredibly loud DJ music from some nearby club or music enthusiast (not sure which) is blaring at a volume to rival the lollapalooza center stage. This is our third night at this hotel and the third in a row with noise that is so crisp, loud and clear I have questioned if it’s coming from my room television (it’s not). This is of course only outdone by the (not even kidding) two ROOSTERS that begin their crowing right outside our window at 0400am. That’s the ambiance sorted, now onto the rest. The rooms are worn and dated but mostly clean. The bright spot is the breakfast. The downstairs restaurant is the one spot in the hotel that appears to have been updated recently. The food is good, but not exceptional. The area is not good for walking and taxis are no where to be found in the suicidal death dance that is Cairo’s uncontrolled traffic (seriously guys, how about a stop light or two?!?) And the hotel will only set up ‘tours’ for you at what I considered a high cost (USD 50) for only transport to/from destinations like the main museum. They also set up legit tours, but if you only need transport (which you will need) you will spend a fortune here just to get back and forth to dinner. Finally, the staff are professional but clearly trained to push tours on the guests. This is what we expected and thus was fine with us. The service staff are all uniformed and attentive, but seemed a little out of place in this sort of hotel. Ultimately, it feels a bit like a Fawlty Towers episode if it were filmed in the overcrowded, trash strewn, feral dog and cat infested streets of Cairo. But if you are coming to Cairo, virtually all the hotels are in those streets, so you can’t blame the hotel for the landfill outside. Not sure where the 3 star rating came from, but it’s more aptly a 2.5. If you want a one day two night stop over for ONLY the pyramids, this is a suitable and inexpensive location. If you want more? Well, not sure what to tell you. Good luck!!!
