|1.63km from city centerExcellent location situated within 5 minutes walk from Arroyo’s train station. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and check in was very easy. Continental breakfast possibly a bit limited but there are plenty of places nearby to get a wider range of breakfasts. Hostel overall was very clean and tidy, bar well stocked but obviously priced as any hotel. Room was spacious, clean and quiet and we were fortunate to get a balcony overlooking Blas Infante, so great to sit and people watch with a coffee. Would definitely return.

|2.24km from city centerGreat resort with really friendly staff. Would recommend this resort, the staff in reception and bar/restaurant were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The apartment was newly refurbished and spotlessly clean. The balcony was not overlooked and the apartment had a well equipped kitchen. I can find nothing to complain about this resort. It is positioned close to the beach and there are a number of very nice restaurants nearby. To find them leave the resort from the main entrance walk down towards the beach and turn right. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

|1.69km from city centerWhat a fantastic place! Really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very spacious and was perfect for me and my family. The place was clean and organized and all you needed was left in room i.e. cutlery, iron, pots and pans etc. We had an amazing sea view from our balcony too. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. Overall very happy and will definitely return!

|2.16km from city centerWe visited 3rd to 13th July with Jet2 Holidays, if we return we would get a private taxi to hotel, 20 mins versus an hour + on the bus. Check in nice and straight forward, reception is decorated to a high standard and is on the 8th floor( street level) , hotel has 12 floors, beach and pools being 1st floor and buffet restaurant on 7th floor. Room spacious enough only gripe was lack of hangers, around 8 of them between 2 adults …take a few of your own. Room cleaned daily and if you want towels changed drop them all in the bath to ensure you get fresh ones. Buffet restaurant was lovely , beautiful view of the ocean from the 7th floor. Yes there was repetition but food was always hot and the salad bar plentiful with choice, staff constantly monitored the stations wiping clean the smallest drip or spill. Drinks service was relaxed but once you got know the waiting staff they often remembered your drinks choices and appreciated us making an effort with attempts at Spanish even just a please and thankyou goes a long way, big thankyou to Cosme Rodreguez who greeted everyone with a big smile 😃 and was very attentive no matter how busy his section was. We used the BThai ala carte once as it unfortunately only opens Thursday to Sunday and had a lovely meal. We had the option to have an ala carte lunch at la Bonita beach restaurant however the temp was 35-40 degrees due to heatwave so we opted for the air conditioned buffet instead. We used the beach during the day and had to pay 14 euros for 2 loungers with padded cushion and parasol each visit, with 3 days to go a section was cordoned off with signs for use by hotel Benalma only, the people who owned them then covered the signs with paper and explained they were waiting for the hotel to sign a contract for them, so we had to continue to pay the same lady for the rest of the stay, would be great if the beach loungers were free for hotel guests rather than the add expense. Hotel Beach bar close to beach front and again staff were always polite and again remembered drinks choices, a big shout to Adrian Sederno who’s English was perfect but genuinely appreciated our pigeon Spanish 😃. Overall couldn’t fault the Hotel and can see us returning in the future.

|2.13km from city centerFirst of all this hotel is a two star hotel. No there is no Aircon in the room. However, the bed is comfortable. The rooms are ensuite and it’s well located for anywhere that you want to go and things you want to do within the town anybody’s complaining about this Hotel really is just tightfisted. It is ideal for the money you pay if you want better quality and there is much better hotels within the town where you could stay. I really enjoyed staying here the staff are friendly and for the money is spot-on. I have no problem, staying here again.

|3.28km from city centerStayed for just over a week at this luxurious apart/hotel situated right at the heart of Benalmádena Costa. A stones throw away from the lively Puerto Deportivo AKA The Puerto Marina and it’s beautiful beaches with their chiringuito eateries dotted along the promenade to neighbouring Torremolinos. Close to all amenities, just a short walk up the hill to the 24 hour Square, supermarkets, restaurants and buses to Marbella and Málaga and to the beautiful Míjas Pueblo. Why not stop off in Benalmádena Pueblo en route to get a real taste of the traditional white washed Andalusian old style town (The Old Village). Now for my stay at Comfy Studios. What a lovely experience. From the wonderful front of house staff, Amber and José to the housekeeping staff. There was nothing too much, at anytime of the day. The contemporary apartments were tastefully designed with everything you will need for your stay. Very comfortable beds and very roomy. The tranquillity and warm atmosphere hits you the moment you walk through the gate of this elegant establishment. I have nothing but positives to say about Comfy Studios. I will go back there in the not so distant future. Thank you team Comfy Studios for your warm welcome and all of your help during my stay.

|3.36km from city centerWe stayed there for two nights. The room was clean and tidy, there is a small balcony from which you can see the sea. The toilet and shower were clean. There was no kettle in the room to make coffee in the morning as soon as you wake up and that bothered us a bit. Large dining room, with the possibility to eat outside near the pool. The grass by the pool gives a good feeling. The breakfast buffet was rich with a large selection and everyone will find something to start the day. Dinner was good. Near the hotel there are options for a pleasant evening walk. Across the street there is a supermarket. A recommended hotel for those who come for a few days vacation in Costa del Sol.

|2.14km from city centerWe spent a week here in the hotel with my girlfriend. Staff was friendly, cheerful and always ready to help, including the cleaners and the buffet staff. It didn't matter that our English wasn't very good, we still got good customer service. We also received extra blanket in our room upon request. The room was good size and was cleaned very well every day. The balcony had an amazing view of the sea and the mountains. Soundproofing of the rooms wasn't the best; we could hear, for example, when someone in the next hotel room went to the toilet. However, it didn't bother us, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We had an all-inclusive trip, which means we got breakfast, lunch and dinner on behalf of the hotel. The food was absolutely insane and there was plenty of it! There was so much food every day that you couldn't even collect everything to taste what you wanted. We liked that every day the dinner theme changed and every day there were slightly different dishes. Still, there were always such classic favourites (like pizza). Dessert offerings were also fantastic. There was something for everyone. You can easily walk to the beach from the hotel and it wasn't a long walk to the center of Benalmadena either. We also tried using the Wolt app for the first time and ordered rides further away from the hotel & back to the hotel. That worked great too. However, I came up with a couple of criticisms. We couldn't find a way to the indoor swimming pool and no one really knew how to get there. That's why we didn't try it. This wasn't a big loss, but a shame nonetheless. Since we booked an all inclusive trip, I heard that we should obviously have been given wristbands from reception when we arrived at the hotel, to prove that we are all inclusive. For example, only those who booked an all-inclusive trip could order drinks in the buffet dining, not others. However, we weren't given such wristbands and didn't immediately know how to ask about them, we arrived at the hotel late at night and we were tired. The next morning we went to breakfast and got those drinks, but we still didn't have those wristbands. Only after breakfast we went to reception to ask if we should have wristbands (we saw that many people had them) and then we got them. Mostly I was thinking that if you couldn't get drinks without a wristband, why were we able to get those drinks even though we didn't have wristbands to begin with? Does anyone from the staff keep an eye on who gets drinks? Overall, the experience was otherwise wonderful and we would come back anytime. I highly recommend! We came in February before the general winter holidays, it was a suitable time because it was surprisingly quiet in the hotel.

|3.49km from city centerWe visited the Holiday World resort end of May/June. On arrival we were impressed with the swift check in. As we had arrived at 9pm the hotel had kindly left us plates of food in our fridge in case we were hungry. We stayed in room 531 and had a fabulous view of the pool and the sea. The rooms are spacious and are equipped with a kitchen, large bathroom with separate bath and shower, front room with sofa bed and large bedroom. There was access to the large balcony area from both the front room and bedroom. Food is your usual All Inclusive. There was always plenty, everything was constantly replenished and the staff in the restaurant are brilliant and clearing plates or getting you a table quickly when you walk in. We enjoyed the food and always found something delicious to eat. We also booked both the Italian and Burger restaurants at the resort. The food at both was amazing and the waiters and waitresses can’t do enough for you. The pool is good and there are lots of brilliant activities run by the entertainment team. The lifeguards are very observant and constantly checking everyone is safe. Plenty of sun beds and shade if needed. The snack bar around the pool has all the usual hot and cold food along with ice cream and cakes. You can also purchase crisps and branded ice creams from the bar. The daily entertainment includes a pool party, quizzes, bingo and various inflatables for the children to have a go on. The Waterpark was fun and the kids enjoyed going there. You can hire large rubber rings for the water slides. The restaurant there is also plentiful. The evening entertainment is fabulous for the kids. The team are very friends, enthusiastic and energetic which keeps the children happy. There are different parts of the evening from the Widgets, PTY, dancing, quiz's and an evening show! It’s all based on the outdoor theatre and with the visual screen laying makes it very engaging. We went to the beach and hired some very luxurious sun beds with thick cushions and a towel for €12 and worth every penny! Overall this holiday was for kids and to keep them entertained which is exactly what it did. It is a clean, bright resort with food and drink available all day. We love our stay and would definitely return.

|1.97km from city centerLovely hotel, very clean and modern apartment. Unfortunately we were located above the ventilation for the laundry/technical room so not a minute day or night that didn't sound like we were next to a factory! We were in room 515 and really this room and the rooms above and below should be blocked off. Not only the constant noise but various smells, some nice....washing, some not so great.....school dinners!
We did ask to move rooms immediately but only 2 rooms with small double beds were offered and we liked the large twin beds.
Would definitely stay again but only if we could guarantee to be away from the ventilation system.
The only other issue... we fancied eating dinner in the restaurant one evening. On arrival, we asked if there were vegetarian options as it's a buffet. The guy told us to go to the snack bar!
Overall a great place for a holiday, just not in room 515!

|2.89km from city centerIf you are looking for 5 star then this isn’t for you. I read lots of bad reviews before we came and luckily was proved wrong! The apartments are very basic but spotless and have everything you need for a self catering break. I stayed with my family of four. We had a bathroom, twin bed room and pull out sofa bed. It was all basic but you get what you pay for and we couldn’t complain about anything in the room. The pool is small and deep but had a lovely atmosphere and considering it’s October was still warm enough to swim in. The food here was so reasonably priced and they do a lovely breakfast. The location is central to everything the beach is just opposite and Marina full of restaurants is a short walk away. If you are looking for a cheap get away then this is perfect. It is basic but has everything you need and the staff are so lovely. I would also say this is perfect for stag/hens/friends holidays. I read reviews about it been loud but we stayed on floor 5 so didn’t hear a thing once in bed. The air con worked lovely too. The only negative I can say is we arrived late and our pull out bed wasn’t made up so we had to make our bed when we got in. I’m not sure if this is always the case. Apart from this I would recommend this for a cheap get away stay for hens, stags, lads/girls holidays or a cheap family break

|2.2km from city centerHotel is in a good location near bus stop to reach Malaga and other locations. Swimming pool quite small. Staff very friendly. There is a beach nearby with water sports. Rooms are spacious with shower and balcony. Now the negative. The lifts are always very busy and it can take quite a long time to get down especially in the morning. We had to get down 6 floors by stairs. The big let down is the food. There aren't many options for vegetarians, no much fish, no paella. It is really monotonous and tasteless. Do not pay for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Go for a walk towards the Marina and you will find better places more affordable and with much better food.

|2.21km from city centerJust returned from Alba Beach (Prev.Balmoral) after staying for 2 weeks. I chose the 7th floor, swimming pool view, rooms are called Superior after re-branding and have a small, useless fridge, tea/coffee facilities. My first stay in Balmoral, those days, was in 2006 and 2007. Since 2013 I travelled solo but more often with my adult son (different rooms). For me the best part to stay in Alba Beach is location: flat space and the beach is just across very busy road from Malaga to Gibraltar. I have legs/knees problems, so it is not hilly. The second half of October’23 - my first visit after summer’23 re-branding. The hotel poor service, skinny food, an army of small ants 24/7 in the room, chasing edible stuff, if you leave it on the table unattended in seconds, they are everywhere, travelling through ventilation, rampaging in the bathroom rubbish bag, etc. I agree with the previous person, who mentioned ants on the 5th floor. It is a disaster for any place but for a 3*** hotel- a shame. I was very careful, packing my suit before checking out. Nobody wants to get ants home back to England. A chambermaid was very rude to me, separating two beds, telling me not to use the other bed, because I stayed on my own. I complained to receptionist, Maria. She said, that I had paid not for 1 bed but for the whole room. The receptionist Angelica had a very rude check in for me: she did not explain what is the other door card/key was for. As it appeared, the spare door card was for keeping it in the slot 24/7 to keep lights on and to provide power for the small fridge. I never came @cross such a system. I complained to the Hotel Director, Victor B. but he was on stuff side and did not take measures to improve service. Very disappointing! Re-branding is not over, so a lot of visual points everywhere with “Balmoral” logo. The T&C of Amigo Loyalty Card has been changed. A room TV still shows old T&C of Amigo Loyalty Card into your face though they have been radically changed. Read them attentively. So, never again to stay in Alba Beach. Bad experience.

|3.48km from city centerIt has exceeded our expectations!! We have spent 8 days with All Inclusive and it has been a fantastic vacation. The hotel lacks nothing. Excellent cleanliness, excellent facilities, and very friendly staff. The food is also quite good. The only thing that we believe can be improved is the offer of entertainment activities to the Spanish public. They turn a lot to foreigners and Spanish animation remains in the background. If this would improve, it would be amazing.
As for Trip's customer service, give them a 10, since when we arrived at the hotel they told us that our daughter was not included in the reservation (despite the fact that the reservation was well made) and they made us pay almost an additional €700 for the girl and from the moment one Trip has responded very well, solving the problem quickly and with unbeatable attention. In less than a week Trip has paid all the expenses for this inconvenience and they have refunded me 100% of the amount that the hotel made me pay to be able to check in my daughter.
Thanks trip!! keep it up!
