2.05km from El MorroThe main house was the home of the sculptor Viktor Delfin and is still run by the family. It is located right above the Pacific ocean in the up and coming district of Barranco. Modern, international hotels are all along the coast, making one appreciate what a gem of a small guesthouse this is. We arrived late in the evening, were very quickly checked-in and shown to our room across the lawn. There was a double height ceiling which felt very spacious and steps down to the sleeeping area. Little niggles such as not being able to lock our sliding doors onto the balcony (no-one could access the balcony as it was above a cliff) and no safe in the room ( valuables could be deposited in the office and we saw CCTV in the grounds) were a minor irritation soon forgotten as everything else was so great - the view the next day was spectacular, the garden was delightful, breakfast was delicious with eggs cooked to order and all the staff were very helpful. There was an interesting selection of artwork including paintings and sculptures in the main house and grounds. If you want to get away from international hotel chains and experience something more authentic, I would recommend Second Home every time.
2.46km from El MorroWe arrived to Lima in the middle of February'20 at the start of our 3-week tour of South America, which covered 3 countries and ended in Brazil. Before departing, we sat at the airport in Rio with a glass of champagne, looking back at the trip: what was the best country, the best museum, the absolute highlight, the best hotel? The latter was Villa Barranco. From the moment we arrived here, we were enveloped into its easy luxury and warm, friendly service. We had our Pisco Sours on the roof terrace, beautiful breakfast in the garden, read at the round table in front of our room. The bedroom was spacious, the walk-in shower perfect. On the grounds, flowers bloom, birds come for some crumbs left from your breakfast - coming here is like entering a fairy-tale after a 14-hour flight from the grey wintry London. An absolute favourite!

2.62km from El MorroI stayed in this wonderful place long before there was a coronavirus scare and it was splendid ! Rafael( the manager ) and his team create a homely and stylish experience in this superb old place wonderfully renovated , where a charming and flowery garden( with aromatic plants freshly available for the restaurant ) and two rooftops allow for maximum escape and natural space . The service is so friendly and attentive , the food so delicious , and the decor so dreamful that it is difficult to find a better place to stay at in Lima . The hotel is 20m away from the famous Hotel B but it is more quiet and has a large garden ! When we were forced to be confined in Lima because of the coronavirus lockdown , I immediately tried to get back to the place . They welcomed me and my wife like patents would welcome their siblings and we have been having the most delicious and delicate experience for two weeks ( so far) in this haven of peace and beauty . Thank you Rafael , Augustin , Alessandra , Fernando , the chef and the other person who have all accepted to leave their home and reside on property to serve us and make our life dreadful and peaceful . Muchísimas gracias !!! Geoffroy and Veronique From Paris
2.64km from El MorroThe location is very good, the price is also OK, the service is ok, it is worth living, the hotel in Lima is still a good thing, certainly can not compare with Asian hotels, but has its own taste, it is worth having.
2.86km from El MorroI stayed here for a total of about 7 nights in August-Sept of this year. It was recommended to me by someone in Lima and the place more than lived up to the recommendation. It fits the 'medium budget' category perfectly. Nice, simple, clean rooms, nothing fancy and not huge but big enough. No bells or whistles. There is a laundry service whose prices are pretty reasonable. But the best part was the warmth of the staff and management. I quickly became friends with everyone there and it felt like being part of a family. All in all, a warm and wonderful place to stay in Lima.

You could not ask for more at the Atemporal. Clean, soothing and welcoming. Our room was small but I requested the smaller room and it was wall appointed. Ricardo welcomed us with a cool refreshing drink and later we had our complimentary glass of wine in the garden. Walking distance to Huaca Pucllana. Breakfast was delicious. Surprise - he also serves dinner which we took advantage of our last night in Lima. It was a relaxing meal and the food was quite tasty. We had an early flight and they packed us a to-go breakfast! Don't think of staying anyplace else when in Lima.
This girl is free to use the taxi software to help me call the car every day. My taxi software can't be used. The price is half outside. The service is very good. The breakfast is very good. It is recommended.
I booked this hotel online through Booking.com because it had good reviews and airport transportation. We got in very late from Canada but our driver was waiting for us with a sign with our name on it. The ride to the hotel was fine. the drivers here go very fast but there was not much traffic at midnight so it was uneventful. They all seem to drive with one hand on the horn. If they pass someone, come out from a side street or sometimes I think it is a greeting. Our room was facing the street. The windows open wide and the pigeons start talking as soon as the sun comes up. So does the traffic start early. That is the case all over Peru though. We slept with the window open so the noise was our own fault you might say. Next morning we discovered a nest right under our window on a ledge that had 2 baby pigeons in it. Explains most of the noise from the birds. Since no one at this hotel spoke much English and we don't speak much Spanish the girl at the desk helped me out making sure we had a ride from the airport to our hotel in Cusco using the language translator on her computer. She was very helpful and phone the hotel in Cusco and made arrangements for me. Breakfast was included in our room and was pastries, cold meats, cheese, various fruits and cold cereal and yogurt. This is not a fancy hotel but sufficient, hot water, clean with very helpful staff. It also has a very late check-out time. We had a flight at 2 pm so it worked great for us.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on my first visit to Peru. It is a very pleasant and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included in my price which was on the 10th floor and was a really lovely experience. Breakfast was a nice selection of hot and cold items with eggs cooked on request. All the staff I encountered were delightful and very friendly and helpful. There are dining options, restaurants and supermarkets all around the hotel.
The company visited the customer to order. However, it is just a very ordinary hotel. But safety is paramount! Still looking for a star hotel is better, the price is more affordable than China!
The first impression is that it does not look like a hotel, but when the front door opens, you find a very pleasant stay, like at home! The best: The very friendly and professional treatment of all the staff, especially the owner, who is attentive to every detail and also the Venezuelan reception girl who was very professional and courteous.
it was a super nice experience, great and friendly service. Like be at home.
This hotel is in a good location, located in the safer Miraflores area, with convenient transportation and convenient travel. This is a business trip. There are no problems for the two men walking on the road. It is close to the seaside and the local shopping centre Larcomar and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The hotel's facilities are old and the rooms are small, but this may be a common problem in local hotels. No air conditioning, we stayed on September 21st, cold and wet, and there was no way to wash the clothes. I have to pay for the laundry. The beauty at the front desk speaks English, the service is warm, and you can also store your luggage for free. It's good!
I have been there for 10 days.it was very quite and safe places.Sometimes you need safe places in lima and I found iquique.it was very clean and their personal ıs kind and helpfull. The recepcionests are very hospitality and they were smile everytime and they were very helpfull.it has a very good terrace and I enjoyed at this terrace many time.I will go to lima again and I am thinking stay at iquique.Thank you iquique for your helping.
One again I would like to address the amazing service I received at this small Boutique Hotel. In October I was here for 11 days. As always, a friendly face upon arrival and excellent service from everyone. Unfortunately, I was sick and in bed for 5 days. The staff at this Hotel are amazing and went out of their way to help me in any way they could. Which included calling the Dr (who actually makes house calls, unlike Canada), allowing me to go to breakfast late, foot massage, checking on me if I didn’t leave my room. picking up my laundry and numerous phone calls on my behalf. To be on a first name basis with these young people is a privilege and one, I will not take for granted! This Boutique Hotel is in a beautiful area of San Isidro and everything within walking distance- restaurants, market, drug stores, Money Exchange, etc! When in Lima, I would not consider staying elsewhere. If you like informal high rise hotels, then El Golf is not for you. But, if you like personal service and Boutique style, then El Golf is definitely for you!
Great option. Very clean, nice service, and the breakfast is the best. Owner is very helpful. I really recommend this option. Definetly I will come back. Is well located and there are many restaurant options around within walking distance.
Room for 2 was comfortable - needed Aircon because it was humid. Very good breakfast included. Main delicacy of Peru - ceviche was very well done, if a bit expensive. Being out of town, need to take care of bacteria in water and food, so eating at hotel was best option. Very nice park a short walk away. A number of good restaurants within walking distance - again expensive. We chanced an Uber to boardwalk along cliffs at South end of Lima (quite touristy). Well worth walk.
My visit to Miraflores, Lima was a perfect vacation and relaxing time. The perfect complement for the perfect time is the place that you shose for estay. The best option for me, is Girasoles Hotel, incredibly service, impecable room, attention to details, delicious food, friendly staff, and the happy hour with “pisco sours and chilcanos” are the best to enjoy with family or friends.
Landed in Lima at a pre-booked hotel, wasn't quite what we expected. Googled and found Los Tallanes in another neighborhood, more centrally. Took a taxi, stepped into the front desk and asked if they had any available room. Was offered a suite to a very good price. After a five-day trip up the mountains, we returned and were booked into an even better and bigger suite. Left part of our baggage at the hotel while we explored the mountins,( no extra charge) Extremely clean, friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location, nice restaurants in walking distance One of our better hotel experiences (have traveled a lot around the world) A special thanks to coordinator Rocio Roncal, who made our stay a wonderful memory!
The hotel is in a good location, close to St. Martin's Square and 15 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. The room facilities are outdated and listed on Samsung. It is very similar to the domestic guest house. The reception is very warm. There is a free internet computer in the lobby. Breakfast is average. There are scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, but not enough. Especially yogurt is good, room service staff does not charge tips. It is a good deal to book a car to the airport, and the 5-person van costs only 50 sol.
My wife and I travelled with another couple to Peru. We travel often to various countries. We found Peru to be safe and interesting and would like to return and travel further afield from the hotel spots’. Perhaps a long train trip around the country? The foods were good, simple meals. We do not like that the toilets require us to put toilet paper in a side bucket; but that is the case in many backward countries. This hotel had very nice, supportive staff. We would choose to stay here next time. We liked the small restaurant there with personable wait staff.
Excellent location, big clean rooms and surprisingly quiet considering the location!
The hotel is in a safe and affluent area, with more police and security. It is no problem to walk on the main street at 9 o'clock in the evening. Where to go is basically within a short walk: 30 minutes to the Inca market, 30 minutes to the Regal Restaurant, and 20 minutes to the seaside shopping center. Lima is hot during the day and it is very comfortable at night. This area of the beach is very beautiful and very pleasant. Be sure to go to the seaside shopping center at night. The hotel is cost-effective, the room in the double bed room is not big, the family of three is enough, the luggage is slightly cramped, but it does not affect, the overall experience is good. The area where the Chinese restaurant is concentrated is about 20 local coins. The Hakka restaurant must go to dinner and morning tea! The most recommended restaurant in the local Chinese, very delicious and not expensive, cheaper than the rich! We can also pay for WeChat.
The property is a 7km distance from the airport, but an excellent economical taxi service makes up for the distance. While there is a fee to pay for the taxi, that is more that offset by the low cost for staying at the property. Property is very clean and a satisfactory breakfast is service Would use again when I visit Lima
I came here for two nights before I went to Iquitos and then several days after I got back to Miraflores when I returned from Iquitos. They arranged all my transportation back and forth to the airport. The room I had before I went to Iquitos was small but the room I got when I came back was very nice. The breakfast is very good. They will cook food upon request all day long now. I have actually stayed in this hotel several times over the last 15-years. I have never had complaints. The people working in the hotel are very polite, respectful, and friendly. The location of the hotel is very nice. It is a couple blocks away from hills with a park overlooking the ocean. It is also very close to a lighthouse, hence the name. It is easy to walk from the hotel to stores and into the center of Miraflores.
Hotel breakfast starts at 6:30, no Takeout for early out
The hotel is very close to the seaside, the surrounding environment is good, the room decoration is simple and clear, the health is good, the air conditioning is a bit noisy, and Guante can sleep at night ...
Airport taxi counter to hotel 60 Sol, Uber Hotel to airport 37, peruhop pick-up point does not need to wait long
Close to the airport, within walking distance, the hotel also has a shuttle bus. The staff is very welcoming.
Stayed at the hotel for one night because of a transfer, and several large suitcases were stored at the hotel for a week. After returning from the rainforest, I did n’t take a hot bath for 4 days. After discussing with the hotel, let ’s take a bath in gym and then fly back to Shanghai that night. Thank you so much for your help. Recommend everyone to stay.
My husband and I, along with 9 others in a Gadventures tour group spent 6 days isolated here after the President declared the country was in a state of emergency. We were relocated to the hotel after our trip abruptly ended near Cusco. We arrived late at night where we were warmly greeted, and directed to our rooms. The eleven member staff, who were “living” at the hotel during this time worked tirelessly every day covering more than one position to meet all of their guests needs. We felt like we were part of one big family, as we got to know everyone staying at this beautiful little boutique hotel. We especially liked that there sitting areas inside and outside, plus a rooftop terrace so we didn’t feel so confined. Every question or request was dealt with with a smile. During a very stressful time, we felt safe and cared for. I cannot give the hotel and its staff enough praise!!
Alfonso and his team did everything they could to make us feel welcome at Lima House and even allowed us to check into our room on arrival. This was especially appreciated as we travelled on a night bus and turned up at the hostel seven hours before check in time! The hostel is centrally located and close to most of Lima's main attractions. There is a 24 hour front desk and great complimentary breakfast buffet provided in the room rate. Our beds were comfortable and the communal areas are great for meeting other travellers. There was also a well equipped kitchen where we could cook- definitely appreciated as we are backpackers on a budget! Overall, a great stay that I would recommend to all travellers. Thanks for everything! :)
Transportation: Airport uber comes over 30 sols, if you arrange a taxi 60 sol at the counter. The location is very convenient in isidro, there are large shopping malls within 1 km, many restaurants, even can go to the beach (cliff, not the beach) Package: There is a gym, there is a massage 💆 (not recommended, the price is three times domestic, not comfortable), the swimming pool can only see, mini size). Breakfast is OK, there is a waiter who speaks English. Check in for a drink. The main reason for the spit is that the hot water is unstable, and the wifi is too bad. . . too poor. .
Very friendly hotel. Staff were helpful changin money and getting a taxi. Good location, very close to tourist attractions.
Hotel facilities are good! Breakfast is OK, no hotel manager said so! Compared to other Crowne Plaza holidays. Extra bed, great location! There is a parking lot.
