Liked: The place is about 20 minutes from the central station, and the tram is very close to it. Check-in was easy. They had an elevator too. Room was pretty small, but sufficient for me. It was clean too. There were enough hooks in the room. WIFI was great! Disliked: Though the check-in was easy, the receptionist didn't seem too happy. Either he had a long day and was tired, or that was just how he is. In any case, that is no way to greet a customer. The shower door was not so smooth and difficult to handle.

The hotel is located in the southern part of the city, so a bit far away from the center. It is modern and always feels fresh with their distinctive Moxy smell once you set foot in it. With Corona, social distancing and obligatory face masks were always respected. All directions were one-way, so to exit the hotel, you had to take the emergency backdoor fire exit. The room was comfortable but of course a bit small. Just like the Moxy-style ones, they lacked closet, safe and fridge, but for a short weekend stay it didn’t create any problems for us. Had baby food with us, and the receptionist was very helpful to put it in the hotel’s fridge for us. Buffet breakfast was no longer served due to COVID-19, so we had to fill-in a card choosing the items we wanted and the time to be served so they could make it ready for us the next day. The card should be given to the reception before midnight to make sure it gets ready for you in the morning. The breakfast is basic, but diverse enough to cater to all tastes. Car parking at the hotel costs 10 euros per day, and the city parking on the street outside the hotel gives you 2-hours limit only Monday to Saturday, otherwise you need to park it far away in back streets. Check-in and check-our were fast and friendly. Overall, very nice experience and I recommend it for short stays if you plan to discover the city as the tram stop is a short distance walk from the hotel. Also there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

We were in Dusseldorf for work 10 days, and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet residential area of the city. Not small . A small reception is located next to the breakfast area. We stayed here to visit the 'Final Fantasy - Distant Worlds' concert at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, which is close to the hotel (about a 15 minute walk) and made it the ideal choice to stay. There's plenty of parking space (underneath the hotel), and there's public transport nearby (Tram 705) that leads directly to the city center. (about a 15-20 minutes ride) We found out that you can buy tickets on the tram itself at a ticket-machine and decided to buy 48-hours free-traveling tickets, which had a nice reduction in price if bought for multiple travelers. The hotel itself is a budget hotel with limited staff and doesn't have its own restaurant (so no option for an included breakfast), but there are two restaurants in the same building that can facilitate breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a very decent lunch at the cloud-kitchen myself. The other restaurant is an all-you-can-eat&drink, which we enjoyed as well. The rooms of the hotel are small, decent and clean. All the usual facilities were there (an okay shower, toilet, TV, hairdryer, etc.) but don't expect too much luxury. I was pleasantly surprised however, that the window possessed a roll-down-shutter system. I like my room dark at night ;) Also, checking out it easy. You simply don't have to. ;) The doors do unlock after the checkout time however, so that the cleaners can do their job. The personal code to unlock your door will become invalid after that time. The only real drawback to this hotel is that it doesn't have air-conditioning in its rooms (it does have a radiator). We were here in March, so no issues there, but I can imagine the rooms can become really hot during summer. All-in-all the place definitely offers great value for its price/night, and would definitely stay here again if there's another concert to our liking! =)

The good: The area is very quiet. I found the bed quite firm and comfortable. Good public transport links. Free parking and no green badge required. The curtains are thick and block light. The shower was great. The staff were helpful. The not so good: I felt the upgraded room wasn't worth price. Being garden side makes no difference to noise. The room was very warm. This will be great in winter but not summer! It had full opening doors but at night this meant you couldn't draw curtains. We also bought Dusseldorf cards through the hotel, but rather than waiting till we arrived, these were activated from 3pm of our day of arrival so we lost time on these(we arrived 9pm!). So if you want a quiet hotel with good transport links and without the problems of taking a car into the city centre, this hotel is good but don't bother paying for the upgraded rooms.

First time in Dusseldorf and the hotel was great! the staff was very friendly and professional! the breakfast buffet was excellent and some of the best that I've seen in a while (alot of variety from scrambled eggs to blueberry pancakes). Self parking outside the hotel or down the street with the blue parking sign (< >) is free (if you find a spot). They do have garage parking but is 10 Euros each day. Room service was excellent! Not too far from the city center (everything is in walking distance anyways + scooters and bikes you can rent from the street like tier.app, fordpass, mobike, etc.) However, couple points for fyi. If staying greater than 1-2 weeks and you have to do laundry, it is not free here with starting price for one shirt/pants is 5 euros. The fitness center is less than 'adequate' for me as I workout pretty regularly and pump more than 40 lbs (18kg); machines does not support me fully (no free weights). Although you are into cardio and light intensity training (does have a bench press but weights are limited) then you have no problems.

A small, quite sweet, but functional hotel in Düsseldorf Bilk, near Heinrich-Heine University. The rooms are quite small and simple, but offer everything you need for a night stay. The breakfast (cost: € 8 extra) is extensive and offers something for every taste. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking is just in front of the door. The hotel is easily reachable from the highway (without a walk through the city centre etc.) There are several supermarkets, a ice cafe and bathrooms, which (in part) also offer warm cuisine. Concluded: a good business hotel without "snick-snick" with a great price-performance ratio

We go 3-4 times a year to Düsseldorf. It was the first (and not the last) time we stayed in Lindenhof hotel. The lady at the reception was very friendly as well when we checked in as we checked out. After your stay you receive a mail with a thank you for staying in the hotel.Always a pleasure to receive such a mail. The hotel itself has a very good situation. A 5 min walk and you are on the Königsallee. 10 min. to the Shadow Arkaden and Altstadt. Also a 10 min. walk to the main trainstation. Furthermore 20 meters away from the hotel you have the entrance of a large parking garage. (Exit is in the Charlottenstrasse, go right and then again right in the Grupellostrasse and you arrive after a 2 min walk at the hotel) The metro in the Oststrasse is only 150 meters from the hotel, which brings you directly to the Heinrich Heine Allee (second stop and center of the city); Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Alltough we were on the corner of the Oststrasse and Grupellostrasse it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet is very good with a large choice (fresh goods) So to discover Düsseldorf I can really advise this hotel.

This hotel made us super pleasantly surprised. We thought that the room rate of more than 300 yuan per night should be a fast hotel like the domestic one, but it was much better than the fast hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. It is just at the exit of the subway station. There is only one stop to the train station and only three stops to King's Avenue. Then the hotel room is also very spacious, with desks and stools, sofas, and quite a lot of mirrors (you don't have to grab a mirror with friends to get up early, it's great). Strong push!

Unrelated to Covid guidelines (and its restriction) but nevertheless the fact that one could expect a decent standard in a (Chain) Hotel with 330 beds - this hotel proved to be a "FLOP" all the way & that we could have done without (see my list below)! The worst was not even our valid points of complain. The worst was the lack of care. No manager on site available and the staff just followed orders/given script . All we wanted were clean beds, towels, an AC ( since we knew the temps were high during our stay) and breakfast with coffee. Our booking.com price was right, but comparable with prices before Covid. It goes without say that we didn't expect that their Gym & Wellness area to be open ( and usually included in their rate) BUT: The hotel should have had enough time to be prepared to service guests. After they were closed for months and reopened for 1 month already - there was no excuse for their shortcomings. Especially as a hotel chain that advertises to be above standard. We all know the situation when you call a company for service (you paid for but didn't get) while getting the recorded voice & while on hold for hours: "Your call is VERY IMPORTANT TO US, please remain on the line until an available agent can get to you. Or press 0 to leave a message.” And then when you finally get somebody on the line and state your complain, you get some scripted answer like: " I apologize for your experience, but....( I can't help you)" - That happened to us (constantly) throughout our 2 night stay. The standard excuse: Covid 19. Mind you, that I am not the complainer type and I can't remember to have ever written a negative public review. I also want to point out that I don't blame the (reduced) staff, but the upper management. One staff member told us that upper management made such drastic cuts on service to save money and that the few staff members working were either trainees or staff that were put on part-time. So, when the NH Group wonders why guests will start to stay away: Please don't blame the staff, but consider what you could have done better. Trying to save a buck on the expense of your guests will hurt you over the long run. Other guests of yours I spoke to felt the same way. 1. Reserved Room for 3:00 PM was not ready at 4:15 PM ( but if you stay longer than noon upon checkout, NH charges you 10 Euro for every hour). Since it would have taken another 1/2 hour until it was cleaned, we were given a different room. 1 king size bed instead of 2 separate beds we had booked. 2. Room: small & sticky (dusty floors). No complimentary water. 2 towel & 2 hand towels/ no extras for 2 people. 1 tiny bottle shampoo, 1 tiny soap. No plastic lining in the trash bin. AC light on/ but did not work ( as we found out during the night when we woke up at 3 am in the morning sweating. We actually went downstairs to catch a breeze outside the front-door). After we realized that the AC didn't work, we opened the window for the remaining hours of the n

Simple and in fact quite good. One of the older Ibis's with a perfect location if you arrive to Düsseldorf by rail - or by plane, since the communications between the airport and hauptbahnhof is frequent and good. Outskirt area of course, but public transportation is very well working in Düsseldorf. Quiet. Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms, but all in good shape for a night overstay and with AC! Comfortable beds. Nice and good breakfast. Nice and good staff. Very affordable. Recommended for the traveller on the run, looking for a good nights sleep.

Very friendly staff, the room was fine and quiet, good location. Breakfast buffet was OK. However => +63 euro! 1/ Hot bevereages are NOT included in the breakfast buffet => +13.80 euro! Staff welcomes you at the breakfast buffet and asks you what you would like to drink. Supprisingly, the hot breakfast drinks are invoiced in addition to the breakfast buffet as "breakfast hot beverage", which you only notice upon check-out. As a result, we were disappointed to see an addittional 13,80 euro for these breakfast beverages. Since when does a breakfast buffet does not comprise coffee or tea, come on! 2/ Mistake while booking? Your bad => + 49,20 euro! Disappointed also because I made a mistake while booking. I booked a room with an occupancy of one person, where it should have been an occupancy of two persons. Which would mean an additional +6.50 euro for an extra breakfast/day. I would have expected my mistake to be pointed out while checking in with two persons. I would have expected breakfast staff, at least the first morning, to point out that only one breakfast is comprised in our room rate. As a result, for the three nights booked, we were charged an extra 49,20 euro for "breakfast food" (3 x breakfast buffet for one person at the normal rate). The email I wrote the hotel upon returning home has remained unanswered so far... Note we agreed upon checking in to not having our room cleaned for our stay of 3 days. We did receive fresh towels at the door every day. So Indigo hotel saves on cleaning, and rewards us with extra costs?! The hotel was fine, Dusseldorf was great, but this unexpected extra 63 euro leaves us disapppointed.

Wonderful stay from before the start! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff was amazing via email. They were able to let my teenage child into our room when she arrived hours ahead of adults due to delayed flights. Front desk staff was always ready with a smile to help with restaurant suggestions, brewery research, reservations, etc. Gorgeous lobby and rooms are well-appointed and bathrooms have more than enough space for guest toiletries. Bartender was very friendly and nice and offered his own restaurant suggestions that turned out amazing. The location near Old Town was excellent. Curtains are dark and room was VERY quiet - helped with getting over jet lag. Delicious breakfast buffet! Only minor issue was that there wasn't an obvious place to put suitcases while we lived out of them (only stayed a couple nights of a much longer trip so didn't need to unpack) so they were constantly in our way.

Accommodated by Jochen Schweizer. The hotel is located in a quiet area with excursions in weinen walking minutes. Parking is possible in the hotel's own garage (reserve a bit close) (I think cost 9E/Tag) From outside the hotel makes an average impression. The reception is very friendly and uncomplicated. The room is quite modern and very clean, also the bathroom. Here you feel well. Safe in the closet. Little sofa. Table with chair. All you need for 2 nights. The best definitely breakfast, in the cellar, something narrow, but a very good choice that you rarely find. Brood, bread, toast, cheese (about 6-8 varieties) sauce (also about 6-8 varieties), rod, sauce, spice, cooked egg, marmelade (self made), about 4-6 juices, coffee, tea, milk, cereals, various straws (garneles in dill, garneles in curry, Herring salad, egg salad etc.). Breakfast is a highlight. In a few minutes you can walk to the Rhine (through the Ergo Park), from there you can then walk comfortable to the city. From the old town with the train to home is a little difficult. But nearby are also locals and restaurants, you don't have to compulsory to the old town. Also a brewhouse is around the corner. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend the hotel.

I have now been to the Maritim Hotel at DUS Airport twice, in April and July 2021. Both times I arrived at the hotel alone with a car full of suitcases and bags... and unfortunately didn't find a luggage trolley available to take the luggage to the promote lobby. When I asked, I was first told in a friendly manner in the lobby that I could use the elevator (from the hotel entrance to the lobby) so that I didn't have to climb the stairs with my suitcases!!! So I would first have to lug the suitcases to the elevator...then out again, then to the lobby... The hotel's luggage trolleys under the stairs behind the elevators to the rooms were chained together, so not usable. Luckily I found an abandoned luggage trolley from the airport outside, which I could put to good use. Anyone who comes with a few suitcases or needs any other help with lugging them is probably already "bathed wet" when they check in at the lobby! Otherwise the hotel has nice rooms. Restaurants were closed or I didn't use them.

An unexpected ‘bonus’ stay due to missing my connection and so paid for by Eurowings (a regular occurrence according to the staff member checking me in). Literally across the road from the airport, the room was great, large and comfortable with heating/air con. All staff I encountered were very friendly. The layout is a bit odd, being all on 1 floor and a large ring. You could end up with a room a very long way from reception. The restaurant was a little bit not to my taste, so even though dinner was also on EW, I struggled to find something I liked, but got there in the end. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, plenty of options, hot and cold food and plenty to drink. All in all, I was very happy with this hotel, even though the reason for my stay was annoying and tiresome, the Sheraton relaxed me after a frustrating day, so job done.

The location of the hotel is very good. It’s five or six minutes’ walk from the train station. There are Japanese food shops around. It is a four-star standard. The standard is like a domestic three-star, but it is clean and the bedding is very comfortable. It is cleaned every day. I gave us two girls a suite, one bedroom and one living room, kitchen refrigerator and so on. very happy.

The staff was amazing. We came in late with our son, who was already asleep. Our room was nicely set up with a welcome card and complimentary chocolates, The breakfast was sublime. From salmon to poached eggs, everything was available. There was no buffet, you could just ask whatever you want and the staff brings it to your table. It is a good solution so people don’t waste any food. After our breakfast we went to moviepark and came back later. My brother joined us later with his family and we all had dinner in the restaurant. The man who served us was amazing. We were so hungry, and he just made everything so easy on us. Whatever we wanted, he took care of it. Again, the staff was so helpful.

As an Accor Gold Member, I’ve seen some Accor Hotels by now. I’ve seen good ones, I’ve seen less ones… But this one “Mercure City Center in Dusseldorf” comes all the way on the bottom of my list… Staff really unfriendly…. Rooms Outdated…. Accor loyalty Service “ZERO” As a Accor Gold Member they offered me 2 Free Welcome drink vouchers… I booked 2 rooms for 3 persons… Guess we will have to share a drink… BUT it gets worse…. During our stay (We went up and off to the Christmas Market) we did not found a timeslot when the bar was opened… So, we end up by exchange our 2 vouchers for 2 still waters at the front desk ☹ So, If you compare the “Accor Gold Bags” packed with drinks and appetizers here in Belgium / Holland / France combined with the free room upgrades, the free late checkout’s ….than I’m wondering… Should Accor ruin his good name in Germany on some lousy Old dated hotels like this one…. If you want to be a member of the gang… Then at least act as a member…
