I stayed at Casa Julia for two days, and my overall experience is outstanding. The staff welcomed me warmly, which was excellent after 7 hours of travel. They offered me coffee while on our way to my room, which made me feel at home. And every morning, the staff asked me if I enjoyed my stay, if I had a good sleep, or if I had feedback. The team has excellent interaction with the guests. Before going there, I read the comments here stating that the rooms are a bit small. That might be true in terms of floor area, but the rooms are very smartly designed, very well lit, and have everything that you might need during your stay: TV, minibar, desk, proper lighting, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, etc. Another bonus point is the hotel is very close to the city center, train station, cafes, and bars. A small but not that serious point is if your room is next to the service room, it can be a little bit loud in the mornings. That was not an issue for me cause I had to get up early anyway, but if you like to sleep late, that could be a problem.

The Ibis Styles Delft City Centre was recently opened in 2021, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Delft. With La Hayeden Haag Station just 7km away and Rotterdam The Hague Airport only 16km away, transportation is very convenient. With Museum De Beurs van Londen, Saturday Flea Market and Rijksmonument Oost-Indisch Huis Delft all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Delft hotel offers parking on site.

The hotel was lovely, cosy and the people working there were so nice and helpful! Nothing was too crazy, and everything could be arranged. The rooms were cleaned a really well and the breakfast was a great start of the day with healthy options and good Dutch snacks. I would recommend this to anyone if they want to stay there for a few relaxing days off!

The location of the hotel is okay, not good, not bad. You can walk to the central square, where you can eat, there are many restaurants, and the prices are similar. The hotel room is not small, but the windows are not big, but you can see the river, it can be regarded as a river view room. After dinner, you can take a walk along the river, the scenery and mood are all good. The hotel bed, quilt, and pillows are all very clean. The bathroom in the hotel is very new and should be newly renovated. It provides common disposable items, but there are no slippers. The room booked does not include breakfast, but it is observed that there are not many types of breakfast in the hotel, and there are few choices, but you should be full. The hotel is not far from the delft train station, about 12 minutes walk, but it is all stone roads, it is a bit tired to pull suitcases. Delft itself is not big. The main attraction is the church in the central square. There is a windmill to the north of the village, which can be visited for free. There is a science museum and TU delft in the south of the village. TUdelft is a well-ranked school, so you can have time to walk around. There is a lighting ceremony during Christmas, and the town is particularly lively. For a supermarket, walk right along the river from the hotel, about 5 or 6 minutes, and then go through an alley. There are also some clothing stores.

It is a really nice hotel situated in a very popular square. A historic building but the rooms are quite spacious and clean. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in with the room price and was excellent. Staff were helpful regarding a few gluten free items. Locally there are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and all the main attractions are within a short walking distance. We had a lovely room overlooking the square. You could hear voices late at night, but being mid October, I imagine you didn't have too many people sitting out all night. A couple of points to note if it is of a concern to you. There is no lift and the stairs up to the first floor are very steep. On arrival the lady was very kind and really wanted to help carry the cases up. But it wasn't a problem for us. I think there are rooms on the ground floor, so perhaps a phone call (their English is excellent) to see if they can guarantee a suitable room. If you arrive late at night at the time of our visit, it seemed as there was no way of checking in as there is no reception after about 11 pm. Once in you have a key to get in late at night. if you know you will arrive very late it is worth checking this in advance. On departure we walked 15 mins to the railway station with two wheelie cases - no problems. On arrival we took a taxi from the station to the hotel - not very expensive. Vehicles can't come to the front door and the square, so the taxi dropped us off about 100 yards away round the corner. Not a worry. When choosing our hotel we noted that they all seemed a high price for what they were. Similar for Utrecht where we stayed for a few days before Delft. Perhaps that is the norm for the Netherlands. Wifi was free in the room and worked well. We were extremely comfortable there. I want to come back please ?

The hotel is in a stunning part of Delft. The studio was roomy and spacious. Breakfast was not great and the service was poor too. I asked for a late check out only one hour or even thirty minutes later and was told I would be charged for the time and was also told it wasn’t possible as they needed to clean the room. Not sure what was the reason. Just seemed inflexible.

Had a great stay with my wife. It is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Delft. Such a nice city with many bars, restaurants and historic buildings. Try to make a tour on the waters through Delft. Enjoy the scenery on the market by the many terrace with a good glass of bear or wine. Once back at the hotel we took another glass of wine sitting outside at the hotel bar.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de Plataan! We stayed in a family room. Our two daughters loved the bunk bed that had a sliding door so it was like their own little room. The two little chairs outside of the room were a cute touch. The breakfast was excellent. The location is outstanding! It's an easy stroll right into the heart of Delft. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. They responded very quickly to all of our questions and provided detailed instructions on how to drive to the hotel and avoid the fine for driving in the city center. Once we parked the car, there was no need to use it again during our stay since the hotel is so centrally located. We highly recommend Hotel de Plataan and we'll stay here again on our next trip to Delft!

Just on the edge of the highway, convenient. 10 km from the center of The Hague. On the edge is a Dutch Shanghai hotel, the Chinese food tastes good. There is also a Hanos supermarket, but it is a membership system. There is also a park, suitable for walking in the morning! It is quite rich if it is fixed. The hotel will eat 10.5 euros a person. The hotel room is still big and hygienic. Parking is free and suitable for a one-night break with a car.

Satisfied with the service, but the location is a little bit off, but the town is not big, it's ok. And there are more Chinese people staying here, so you can rest assured to order.
