      Pros : • Location (but far from Koblenz city) • Affordable • Our business room was spacious • Free parking Cons : • Older hotel • Small budget rooms (but larger superior rooms or even spacious business rooms available) We used this hotel as a one night transit between Bonn and Saarbrucken. I’ve booked a spacious business room on the 9th floor. Older hotel, 15 floors, 2 elevators. Free onsite parking. Location : 10km south of Koblenz on top of a wooded hill with Rhine valley view from higher floors. Our business room was spacious (+-30m²). Older lookout, comfortable, clean and quiet at night. Acceptable king bed , crispy sheets, Mediumlarge flatscreen TV. free Wifi. Bathroom was good size, adequate and clean, a good shower, some toiletries provided. Good airco, coffee/tea. Conclussion : you get what you pay for … affordable but older 4**** hotel, acceptable for the price, good as a transit or short stay.

      I had a pleasant stay here. The hotel is clean and modernized. The staff were friendly and polite. I stayed on the third floor and my room had a fantastic view. It’s also great for nice walks along the riverfront. Or around the small village it the back. Despite what others said here, even though the train runs directly behind the hotel, I didn’t hear the train pass from my bedroom. I would stay at the hotel again. My only complaint was our dinner was not as nice as our stay. The prices were above average but the quality was just average. Also we had to wait for over an hour for just the appetizers and over 40 minutes for the main dish. With all the water we drank waiting for our food we lost our appetite by the time it arrived. Of course the waiters apologized but still it was not a pleasant experience and we paid over 70€ per person for a dinner that should have been better. Maybe it was just the wrong night, but I won’t eat there again.

      As a hotel I would give it 5 stars, but the restaurant/bar brings it down a bit. We had a very good room on the 8th floor, with a beautiful view. A big, comfortable bed (but the pillows are not firm enough) an inroom safe, a refrigerator and a bathroom with a good walk in shower. All very clean and pleasant. Check in was professional and friendly. The parking garage was quite full when we arrived, but we did find a place on the lowest level (-6). Maybe its better to park on one of the higher floors, because the morning we left, we saw that people must have spent time partying/drinking on this level in the night. The partition door was closed and there were a lot of empty bottles left behind scattered on the floor. The staff behind reception were all friendly, but the staff in the bar area could be indifferent. We had 2 meals here, the first night we both had a salad, which was good, but the cooked meals the next night were both so greasy that we couldn't eat it. Breakfast would be good if there was no Covid scare. Butter, cereal, yoghurt, marmelade etc. were in bowls. So you have to scoop a portion out with spoons that dozens of people used before you. All other hotels we stayed in have these things individual wrapt, which seems wise under the circumstances at the moment. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again. As a hotel it is one of our favourites.
