Service level and accommodations are not at the price level of this property You are paying top dollar for the location, and that is it. Do not expect top dollar service or rooms. Garden rooms are OK at best. We were first placed in a garden room adjacent (sharing a patio with)  an occupied conference room. The patio in our first room was dark and sad. We asked to move and we were placed at the other side of the property along the delivery driveway so now all we hear are trucks with their backup alert beeping monitors the train and the traffic from the main road. When we were at the pool our first afternoon, there was no one serving the area. I waited at the bar for over 15 minutes for someone to show up before I walked upstairs to the service area to ask for service. An hour into our visit to the pool,  the bartender decided to turn off the music in the patio and pool area because a couple at the bar wanted to watch a sporting event. I had to ask him to turn it back on for all the other guests. They don't have dual audio outputs at this establishment. Crazy. Honestly, this is not at all what one would expect at this price level. There were some bright spots, front desk and porter service were very kind and accommodating.  The server in the patio was a doll. But our overall takeaway was not positive. It's not a bad place, but it's not a great place, we expected a lot more. Frankly, it's not worth the money, and we won't be back. Saturday night at 10:45, with a lobby and bar full of patrons, and the staff was dragging heaters and equipment across the courtyard. We decided to head back to our room, and we were met with large carpet cleaning equipment and cords strung across the hallway. The internet is a joke. The only area in the building that you can get a strong signal on your phone or laptop is in the lobby.

Similar to domestic homestays, the decoration is a bit unique, with realist artists from the late 19th century in the United States Frederic Remington, (Frederic Remington, 1861-1909), a sculpture. The location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, there is a Chinese restaurant diagonally opposite, and the business is very good. zel's western food is also good. Walk from different directions to the beach for 3 minutes to 10 minutes, the seaside path is very beautiful. No breakfast. The room is small, the bathroom is small, and the sanitation work is average. Those who are obsessed with cleanliness prepare disinfection tools and clean them by themselves. The owner is very nice and has 3 cute puppies. If you want to drink hot water, you can ask him for a hot pot.

First I chose this place because I was working nearby. It's about 20 minutes walk from the beach. There is a large shopping supermarket and restaurant area around, which is quite convenient. The exterior of the hotel is very similar to that of American dramas in the 1990s, with standard American-style luxury garden views and an artistic atmosphere in the lobby. The room I lived in was a garden-view room with a balcony. Because it was on the first floor, it was cool under the two big trees at the door. Facing the swimming pool, of course the United States is a hotel with a swimming pool. I like this small balcony, it's cool and cozy, it's still very comfortable to read books, listen to music and drink tea in the afternoon. This room service is still good, the dishes are delicious & # 128523; (than another Del Mar Hotel). The room is very large, 30 square meters, and the equipment is good. At least a coffee machine, a refrigerator, (many hotels don't have it). In addition, the bathrooms are also very large, much larger than those in New York. Wet and dry separately. The service staff are very friendly! The only flaws are: 1. The musty smell is too big, one is the carpet, and the other is the shower curtain of the toilet has a bad smell! Every time I enter the door, there is a smell of smelly socks! & # 128534; & # 128534 ;. 2. The waiter's bed was clean and clean, but did not clean the table, did not suck the floor, still feel dirty, service is not like the standard of a five-star hotel! All in all, the four hotels near the San Diego Del Mar I have stayed in are relatively satisfactory!

I have to say that although this hotel is average at best, it's staff was wonderful. The front desk staff were always friendly and smiling and warmly greeted anyone who passed. This is huge as I travel for business regularly and this is not something you see a lot of these days. I was able to check-in to the hotel early, which was a surprise that they had rooms available that early in the morning. The first room I was given had a strange odor and also had an A/C unit that had a loose piece of plastic that rattled so loudly it sounded like a jet engine. I was able to get a new room without issue. Even though I was a single traveler, both of the rooms I was offered were double beds, which I thought was strange. The room was huge, but I did not need two beds and seemed like a waste of space and kind of wished I had a couch or a seating area instead. All of my traveling companions also got double beds so unsure if that is all that this hotel offers. You could tell that rooms had been recently remodeled. The bathroom could have used a lot more attention as it was not very clean. There were obviously black moldy areas in the shower that came right off with a little rub with my fingernail so it could have been easily cleaned. The showerhead had obvious build-up on it. There was a spot to the side of the toilet paper holder that was very obviously feces and was very obvious - how the maids did not see this I don't know. I meant to say something to the front desk about it the next morning and forgot. Sure enough, when I came back to my room, it was still there and remained there my entire stay. The room faced the courtyard which meant it had a sliding glass door and a small seating area with a view of the pool. I thought that this was great until the first night when I realized that it also faced the hotel bar and outdoor seating area. After 9pm the bar area became packed and loud and there were groups right outside the sliding glass door of the room carrying on loudly until almost midnight. Not ideal when you have to be up at 5am. Fortunately, it poured rain the next day and the weather was cool the rest of my stay so this was only an issue the first night. My only other complaint was that the heating unit was very loud when it would kick on. It was so loud that you couldn't hear the TV over it when it would kick on, so I had to have the volume much higher than was necessary just to watch TV. The unit would wake me up when it would kick on in the middle of the night so that was annoying as well. Overall, this was a great little hotel. I did not utilize the coffee shop or the bar but heard from others that the selection was limited and was pricey for what they offered. We had a session in the hotel conference room which was nice and perfectly sized for our group. The Italian restaurant right next to the hotel was great and we were there till closing a couple of nights. The hotel is also located next to a plaza wi

The hotel is a good place in the local area, breakfast is not a self-help point, English is not good, it is troublesome, I set the corner of the administrative bed room to give me a general twin room.

The hotel is a high-end residential area nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to various attractions. It is convenient to have a supermarket convenience store nearby. The hotel's breakfast is typical of American style, depending on personal preference. The big bed in the room is very comfortable, the sofa bed is not very comfortable to sleep, the hotel service is general but the basic courtesy is healthy. It is more convenient to have a printer in the lobby.

Cleanliness was spot on. Breakfast was typical fare served Covid-avoidance style and you were encouraged to return for more by an extraordinarily affable server. However... At check-in we were fleeced for a $10 parking fee. In reviewing the Trip.com site, there is no mention of parking or any parking fee. The assumption is that it is in a suburban location where parking does not involve a charge. So this complaint is squarely on the hotel and the Trip.com app. The other issues included young guests returning to the adjoining room waking us by giggling loudly and talking loudly from 11PM until 11:40PM. I rapped on the common door three times, again ten minutes later, and ten minutes after that. Finally I called the front desk to register a noise compliant. The person answering said that they would “handle it” and, sure enough, within ten minutes there was total silence. Sure wished I had escalated the issue to hotel management earlier. The following day, there was intense odor in the hallway near the elevator from what could only be marijuana use. Hotel staff responded swiftly by attempting to determine the source. So rude and entitled guests who cared little about the impact of their behavior on fellow guests was the culprit with hotel staff doing all they could to mitigate the damage.
