|0.77km from city centerThe bed is comfortable, everything works, access and parking are good, rooms are very clean and well serviced by efficient, helpful and friendly staff. BUT . . . .Funky (though irrelevant) decor can never overcome basic problems with any establishment. There is no possible way this place deserves the high rating received. I was unfortunately forced to extend my stay so can write with some experience. First, the noise: the building has a U-shape design facing the street so it cleverly collects all the street noise and directs it into the front rooms, and what street noise. All night bikes and cars, even loud conversations exacerbated by a further design feature, the balconies, which require opening doors and therefore exclude the possibility of well-sealed windows. Then there is the white tiled floors which carry internal sounds nicely ensuring various knocks, loud TV and cleaning activity are clearly audible. Those same white tiles throughout also ensure plenty of reflected glare from sun and downlights as well. It all probably looked good in the plans! More importantly there is the kitchen, or rather lack of one. How a large modern hotel believes it can operate conveniently for guests without any kitchen or even dining area is a mystery. Again, worsened by the lack of reasonable equipment and utensils in the rooms - no sink, few cutlery/crockery pieces, no microwave which you would think a hotel without a kitchen would provide. Enquiring of desk staff what to do the answer was mostly of a shrugging nature. They didn't say eg that across the road was the hotel Le Cassia with a very pleasant dining area and breakfast for 150 baht. A walk around found some recompense in street food and a couple of fancy restaurants but they were a fair walk and not much good for breakfast. So location, also nah! To go anywhere you need a lengthy walk or a vehicle, and there isn't the ready availability of tuk-tuks or cabs as there is elsewhere. All-in-all this adds up to a pretty poor experience, despite any good points the hotel has, and it does have some as described. Value is just as available in other hotels without the drawbacks. The desk staff could be a little less sullen and more forthcoming also, and have some English - it is the hospitality industry after all. Most of this of course cannot be changed by management but more effort to overcome the problems would go a long way to improvement.

|1.76km from city centerHotel is ok but a little tired. It is quiet away from traffic, not too far to walk to central, restaurants and bars but breakfast is a disgrace. Food choice for westerners low, no yogurt or pastries but the real problem is the food is totally cold. Even worse I complained to management day one for a repeat day two. The restaurant staff don't care spend time on phones, other staff were good. If I was owner, I have 14 years hotel management experience, the restaurant staff, especially the supervisor would be gone.

The way up to the building is a key card system. But there is no elevator, only 3 floors high, and the outside is next to the evening market. There will be food ready to eat, side dishes, snacks, fruits, inexpensive prices, selling a lot. Including the service is very good The host speaks politely.

Incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful service.
Unfortunately the hotel feels like it is in desperate need of an overhaul/renovation, as a lot of the decor is looking stuck in a time warp from 1989.
For the price, however - I would stay here again.

It was about 5 minutes late on the day of check-out, but I knocked on the door saying that the check-out time was 5 minutes later ^^ The location seems ambiguous.

|1.73km from city centerA bit off the center (1,5-2 km), closer (15 minutes walk) to the city lake, so recommended if you either like to walk (the area is local but safe and nice, some budget hotels around but nearly zero foreigners), have a vehicle, or would like to take a Grab taxi every time. Rooms are basic, but large, clean, and more than OK considering the price. There's an elevator so going up won't be a problem even for older people. Small area to sit in front of the reception (but away from the main street as it's kind of ”inside” the building) is nice. Wi-Fi is good. The staff speaks very limited English, but probably it won't be a major problem if you've reached Khon Kaen at the first place. There's a nice Chinese temple across the road, Big C mini, 7 eleven and some local restaurants are not far away (5-7 minutes walk), for more options, head towards the lake. Overall, liked this place and would stay again if in Khon Kaen.

Plus, where the shower is, the water will stagnate, not drain itself, the old air conditioner but cool and comfortable. Old towels but look clean. There is no water heater in the room. It is a hotel that is adjusted from a dormitory, making it cheap, TV is a digital TV, the sound is not good. Lose, including the picture I do not understand many hotels with balconies that can open the door. But like to put the air compressor below Makes it out to the balcony when the air conditioner is turned on and it's hot, so is this hotel Located 400 meters from KKU Tower in a small and dark alley. Had a very filling breakfast this morning, just about anything you need, except if you dumb Aussie like me, COFFEE, cereal, fruit yoghurt honey breakfast ... so from 7 11 up the street, I had that stashed in the little room fridge. Snuck it into the restaurant this morning and helped myself to the fantastic service of staff and fresh fruit and COFFEE made a good old mess haha. Once again really good service by staff that should get a pay rise. Even the room cleaning lady was friendly

The indoor swimming pool is also an outdoor swimming pool. Our complaint
(Defective safes, non-functional TVs and defective hinged closets) were quickly processed and repaired.
We hope that the request to put a chair on the balcony has also been actively processed and provided.
Breakfast Asian👍 and American👍.
The food in the restaurant is great and inexpensive.
Sufficient parking spaces are available and free of charge.

The room was modern, clean and well-equipped, and had a nice view of the koi pond. The service was very good. Khun Bee, speaks excellent English, and she really went out of her way to help us. Breakfast was nice. We especially liked the tropic fruit which was served. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Can hear a bit of vehicle sounds but that doesn’t bother me. Got basic toiletries and 2 bottles of water. Old but good to stay. The male staff working at night at the front desk is polite and welcoming. We arrived by song theaw from Khon Kean bus station then walked into the small lane for a few minutes.

The hotel location is a bit far from downtown area but there're several good and inexpensive restaurants nearby, just walking. Wifi in the room was not stable and quite slow. Cleanliness is an area for improvement, but for now still acceptable. Staff were nice and friendly as expected. There's an complimentary snack station on the ground floor. A parking lot was behind the hotel for free of charge.

|2.85km from city centerRoom # 320 - Stayed for just the One night. The Male Receptionist did a great job with an early check in. The room and the hotel is older style. Overnight there was a little Corridor noise, apart from that a really quiet nights sleep thru to dawn. Breakfast was Good...... Good choices of Hot Thai foods ( and very very Yummy ) plus Eggs cooked how you want to. The staff were excellent and the whole breakfast experience was Relaxing and very Enjoyable. We would book and stay here again.
