I really like this hotel. I always book it every time I went there and never let me down. Hotel location is very good, close to the port, after breakfast, you can take a walk at the pier, the air is very good. It takes a two-minute walk to take the ferry to the city centre. It is very convenient, and it is expensive to take a ferry. The breakfast was very rich, the Swedish breakfast, there was no hot water before, but there was hot water. Can be an extra bed, but to pay, the specific price is not clear. The parking lot is very convenient, but the cost is quite high. There are small supermarkets around the hotel, there are quite a few restaurants, and the hotel also has a restaurant that tastes good.

This hotel is also our favorite hotel, right on the pier, can eat breakfast to see the sea, very comfortable. Breakfast is also a typical Swedish breakfast, I like it anyway. The room is small, compared to other hotels. I think the extra bed is allowed, parking is very convenient. There is only one question I need to remind everyone, if English and Swedish are not very good, I do not recommend this hotel. Our plane arrived at Gothenburg Airport at eleven o'clock in the evening and arrived at the hotel is already twelve o'clock. The hotel did not have a reception desk, the door was closed, we were lucky, just one of the guests came back, we went into the door together. Then you see the hotel in Swedish message saying that after 11pm, you check in to call the hotel, pay attention to the Swedish phone number. Respond to you saying that your room key is in a box at the front desk, then you open the door with your own key to sleep. Very European-style hotel management, most of the in-house guests are foreigners. It is recommended that guests booking this hotel should check in during the day.

If you want to be spoken rudely to then you should stay at this hotel. Max who works at reception was not only rude but harassed me several times by calling my cellphone and the room I was staying in. When I went down to reception to ask why he called me so many times he said he ”wanted to explain how the hotel worked” but instead he proceeded to be argumentative and rude. He, who is the person who represents the hotel, did not ensure that his guest (me) was comfortable and was enjoying my stay. What had happened was that I had the day before extended my stay for two nights. It was Sunday lunch time when Max called me to confirm my stay and asked me to stop by reception to extend my key which was coded. When I did stop by the reception, he then demanded that I give him the immediate payment of the room or he would not give me my key to the room- knowing that my things were there and my cat! I was offended that he was suggesting that I wouldn't pay for the room (which I had all intentions of doing)...but I said I would do it in two hours. (I had a migrain and wanted to lie down for a little bit just to feel better). He instead insisted on getting payment straight away or ”he couldn''t” give me the key. When I did finally get my key, and went to the room to lie down, he proceeded to call the room phone and my cell phone repeated times. I think this is completely inappropriate. Instead he belittled me and accuse me of ”not listening ”when I told him i did not want to discuss this futher and I tried to remove myself from the situation. Max is rude and should not be working in reception for a hotel when his need of ”being right” is more important than the comfort of the hotel guests he is serving.

Stayed 3 days and had an excellent time. Room was great with all amenities and staff friendly and attentive. Food was great with an excellent assortment of choices. Many healthy choices. For the value, can't be beat. Easy to get to downtown. Suggest taking ferry to hotel (5 stops) and fun. Gothenburg has lots of shopping and great restaurants, formal and informal. Had a great dinner at greek restaurant close by.

We came here between friends for one night. Access is medium because pedestrian on a7 less 300 metres, to park the car, you will have either the paying street or a parking. The hotel is clean and the pleasant rooms. They are large enough. The shower and toilets are in the corridor but clean. The reception is open for all times. A good plan is not too expensive.

Good points: (1) We really like its location. It was very easy to reach public transportations. It was also close by lots of local amenities such as Netto, post box, coffee shops, pizza place, and buffet breakfast. (2) Moreover, the hotel has a kitchen where we can warm our own food. Bad points: (1) We didn't like that we had to pay extra for bedsheets and towels. We travel a lot nationwide and to other countries - one of us used to work as a tour guide - and it was our very first time to be in a hotel/hostel/motel that does not include bed sheets with the original price. (2) Our room was located right next to a very noisy playground. From morning until night, it was always extremely noisy. So the only times we enjoyed our time in our room was when it was very late at night or when it was raining heavily, because then no kids were there in the playground. (3) One of the shared-toilets was incredibly stinky.

The hotel is situated in old/historic buildings. Very nice and comfortable. Perfect place to stay and have the ‘harbour-feeling’. Nice and friendly restaurant and breakfast. Good possibillities to charge your electric car. That’s really an extra service! Good to know is that the windows in the sleepingrooms (in our building) couldn’t be opened. With warm weather that could be a problem. Also we would appreciate to have some coffee or tea in the room.

This month is also a low-cost youth travel in Gothenburg, so I took this opportunity to evaluate it. It is only a personal idea, so it is only for reference. But there are two points they are the same, that is, no one is really close to the University of Gothenburg, no one has a locker with lock. 1. The most cost-effective is the STF Youth Hostel. (Very important is that they push the door directly during working hours, do not lock the door, go in to the left hand side to manually check in, there is this one, others must get the access code in advance or ask for the intercom at the door. Very troublesome) Although the price is occasionally not the lowest, but the room may be allocated at least four people and up to 8 people, showing that men and women are mixed, but when there are not many people, they are basically separated. It is possible to mix when someone is full, and the kitchen is small but everything is complete. There is a lounge to watch TV. The toilet is the toilet, the shower is separate, and there is also a three-person shower room separated by a curtain. The nearby supermarket is very close, look at the santa ship, behind the Gothenburg church, walk for five minutes. Standing on a high place overlooking the scenery. Finally, they are free sheets and sheets. 2. Gothenburg backpacker hotel and slottsskogens are the names of two brands of the same family, that is, check-in and departure are handled at a counter. However, the floor and room type of the stay are different. The breakfast and kitchen are the same. The kitchen is ok, slightly larger, but not clean. Then there are also a mix of eight or six people. Because there are many people, they are uneven. The toilet and bath are in a room together. Their two youth hostels go out to the north and go to the Linnai Hotel at an intersection, and the opposite is linneplatsens. These four are together. The only benefit is that it is very close to the back mountain of Gothenburg, a five-minute walk, and then the Gothenburg Natural Museum is free. Finally, their sheets are also free. 3. Gothenburg Hotel is on the east side of the city, one stop south of the Lisboa playground, this access control is on the first floor, there is no way to go in when you can wait for someone to open the door and enter. Shopping around there is an expensive coop supermarket, there is nothing but a playground around, but two or three stops north to the Gothenburg Art Museum, which has Van Gogh paintings. This bed sheet is charged, because there are a lot of rooms, the lower bunk provides a curtain, it is still privacy, but there are many people, many eight-person rooms, separate toilets and separate bathrooms. The kitchen is ok, small and mixed. 4. This Linnai hotel is a private owner, between the Youth Hostel and the train station hotel similar feeling, unless its single room is cheap to the price of the Youth Hostel, other times, it is really not recommended. Otherwise, you may not be able to enter the door. There is a reason for their low rating. The single room I lived in was cheaper than the price of the berth, so I endured two nights, the kitchen was completely unusable, there was not enough kitchenware, the toilet was poor, and the bathroom was OK. 5. Gothenburg mini hotel, between the train station hotel and the feeling of home, the kitchen oven is basically bad, and the kitchen utensils almost have plates. Don't live if you can't live. Because the toilet and bathroom are also shared. Of course, in addition to the above youth hostels and hotels, I also stayed in the hotel, which is our domestic hotel, providing a rich breakfast, all kinds of things, except for some without refrigerators. The hotel does not have a public kitchen, of course, there is no public toilet and bathroom, all in their own house. Because after all, the price is there. So in general, ask for a low budget and your communication is barrier-free, bold and careful, just live in the Youth Hostel, of course, some people chat, and some people do not chat. But if you think there is still a budget for a trip, you want to eat more comfortably, choose a cheap hotel. It's a bit messy, I'll answer it alone if there's a question.

It’s very rare you find a hotel that checks all the boxes but this is it for me. Had the friendliest welcome when arriving at a late hour. The check in was quick, easy and I was in my room in no time. I’d forgotten adapters for my electrical items, the hotel was like no problem. Turns out the rooms have USB and USB-C plugs in the rooms so was covered. Moving onto the room. I had the best sleep ever. Perfect climate control. Wonderful views to wake up to and just every little detail was just amazing. After a delicious breakfast (lots of choice, Swedish and international cuisine), I explored the hotel further, the gym looks really good (I didn’t use it… just told myself I should have) and they also had a sauna. Moving outside, the location. The freshest air ever (it was nice to breath there) and literally just over the water from the city centre. If you like to walk, it’s perfectly acceptable however as I travelled with people who don’t like to walk, the hotel directed us to a bus stop one minute away. Literally two stops later, you’re in the centre. The hotel pointed out the work being done on the water front. There’ll soon be the option of getting back and forth that way. Finally, the team. It’s clear that this hotel clearly has the customers at the heart of what they do. Everyone I spoke to was warm, friendly and open to sharing hints and tips to make our stay in Gothenburg magical. And it was… EVERYONE needs to visit this wonderful city. I’m already planning my next trip and I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

The hotel is located right near the main shopping area and close to many interesting sites. Public transportation is a few minutes away as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. The breakfast was good and there is a waffle bar available in the evenings. The street is very busy and loud so if you want some quiet you have to close the window (if you're on the street side) but once the window is closed the room is silent. Very good value for the money, I definitely recommend it.

It's and old building, and you can see that in many things. The hotel is, for a better word, a bit quirky. I had a single room, so it was quite small. The room was very clean, good bed and fresly renovated clean bathroom - nothing to complain in the room. The street outside is busy, but the windows are also quite good. I don't think there is air-con, you have to open the window a bit for fresh air. Might be more of an issue in summer. Breakfast did not have a huge selection of everything, but all they had was high quality and tasty. The hotel staff was also kind and polite. Parking is not perfect, they want to park you car themselves, as they double-park. This also leads to bit of waittime when you want your car.

We just loved Gotyhenberg and the location next to the rail station of this scandic was just great. We chose it cause of thre breakfast and werent disappointed. The variety was just lovely. The room was small but cosy-the bed also small but very comfortable. The shower and facilities were nice. I am a tall person, so would have appreciated a slightly bigger room, but I am guessing there arent any, which isnt a big issue in itself. The big critique for us was the lack of helpful reception- we have come to get used to customer service oriented staff around the world where we have stayed, but when needing help to obtain a refund for a misprinted airport bus ticket, we were told they couldnt call and we would need to do so from the room at a cost. We just couldnt grasp this response as it seemed completely unhelpful and cold. Please can you address this for next time as when you are staying in a stange place what you need most is helpful, ”cant do enough for you” and customer oriented staff-otherwise why would you return?

Very nice hotel in the middle of the center. Cozy restaurant and bar, good breakfast, nice staff and nice room. On the negative side there was no available parking for us in the hotel garage. I sent a mail 2 days infront, trying to reserve s parking place. Had to park at «Heden» a few blocks away. Really expensive hour based parking, and I’m used to Oslo prices. The bar prices was on the steep side in this hotel. For example a glass of redwine on the roof bar was 135 kr. In my eyes, way too much. No Aircon in the room, it was hot. There was a small fan in the room, it was better then nothing. All in all the hotel is good. Had stayed again if the price was ok.

A beautifully designed hotel with friendly staff. There were so many nice touches and the room (although rather small) had everything you'd expect and more. Stayed here for 3 nights and I wish I'd stayed longer. The breakfast was exceptional, so much choice and the quality was phenomenal. Had a gothic baroque feel to the decor and the location in the centre of Gothenburg was ideal. They even stored my bag and provided me with free coffee after I'd checked out. Incredible value for money too.

Stayed for one night in July 2023 with my husband. Check-in was smooth, friendly front desk receptionist explained everything we needed to know for the stay. The room was nice and clean, with the amenities you expect from a city centre hotel. In our room were three single beds, reading lights, a window with blackout curtains, a small desk and chair, side tables, a wardrobe, a full-length mirror, smart TV. The bathroom had a good size shower with good water pressure and temperature, a toilet and a sink. No place to put toiletries, but that was not a problem for us. Breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, sausages and beans, toast, rolls, ham and cheese, various sweet spreads, boiled eggs and fresh-cut vegetables, cereals, juice and coffee. Good selection of breakfast staples. Positive: The hotel is dog friendly, we met a gorgeous labrador at breakfast. So, if you are not a dog lover you may want to check your surroundings. Accessibility can be a challenge at the hotel, as there are steps up from street level to reception. There is a lift but it's small, a wheelchair user may find it difficult to get in and out. The restaurant where breakfast is served is in the basement and consists of several small rooms joined together, and a person with mobility issues may struggle to get around all the nooks and crannies.

The hotel is easy to find - especially if you get the airport bus into Gothenburg, as it only a few minutes away from the stop, and so is really central. Best rooms are on the top floor, under the roof. We started off on the main floor, near to reception in a Grand Lit Superior room (that being what we paid for in advance). Although that room was large, it was cold and the person working on evening reception (although really helpful) didn't know how to get the heating working (the radiators were all on but no heat in them). Also the central a/c was on - and blowing cold air. Why? That couldn't be turned off, so we eventually swapped rooms - up to the second floor. Although that room was significantly smaller (looking at the website it was a Double Room Superior as it certainly could not be described as 'spacious' - barely any room between the bed and the wardrobe on one side), it was more characterful, and warmer. Still had central air on though. Needless to say, no refund for the difference in room price - so with that and the hassle of changing rooms, I'm not giving 5 stars. Breakfast is very good - just watch when you go as it can get incredibly busy and the staff, despite working mighty hard, don't have time to clear up - so one morning there were a lot of dirty plates/cups stacked up on tables, meaning they couldn't be used, thereby reducing seating. Once the rush was over, however, it was much better. We opted for the wine and fruit deal one evening, which was great - lovely fruit platter, and the fizz was good, too. Overall, an excellent base for exploring Gothenburg.

You have to take the poster out there in the hotel literally: it depends on what is in it. Yes, you're scared because it looks like a motel, because it looks like a hotel, but it's good. With covers: - large rooms. Yes the cable is a disaster :-) but it has enough room for the baggage, it is mainly clean, the beds are very comfortable, the baths super, since new. Air conditioning works properly. Interesting: you can sit in the garden and there in the green through small stairs. Class, we had a dog with it... Noisy? No, there is a motorway running behind the house, the tram on the other side, but noisy is it! - Location: SUPER. We with car and roofbox, there is as well as no hotel in Göteborg where you can park with it. The train tram drives in 20 minutes to the opera. The fast bus in a station (eight minutes) to the train station. The hotel can be driven without City Maut. - Kitchen: better than expected. You varie, it tastes good, buffet always filled and clean. Coffee machine with all the variations. I would like more vegetarian variations. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't follow cleaning. But there are also guests who are too harmful for everything. - Personal: good, friendly, informative. I had already noticed at the prior calls. - Deficiencies: clearly available. Cleanliness at the doors to the parking lots is not available. Attacks to the windows were curved with violence (but did yet), tape floors in the river, okay. We were very satisfied with our choice, and the hotel also very well recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for our first time in Gothenburg and it was amazing! Right next to a tram stop, corner shop next door with everything you could possibly need, clear instructions on how to enter the building/self check in. I have never stayed anywhere with a shared bathroom before however this has changed my opinion! The toilets and showers were very clean and you never really had to wait your turn. The bedding was comfortable and clean, you have to pay for the bed sheets if haven’t bought yourself however was not an issue for us. We emailed before hand and it was ready for us for when we arrived (we did have to make the beds ourselves however once again, wasn’t an issue for us) You couldn’t hear any noise from outside or from any of the other rooms. I am overall very pleased with my stay, well worth the money!

Rooms and facilities are ok but the poor rating is exclusively for the restaurant service. The first evening we (2 persons) waited 40 minutes to order after we got seated by the waiter and received the menu. Three waiters working and about 20 guests i total, so not crowded and not busy. After 40 minutes we left, no drinks and no food. The three waiters stood and chatted with each other in the lounge bar. Second evening we wanted to try again. This time we ordered drinks and food as the waiter seated us, just to make sure… It took 20 minutes to even get the beer. This evening about 15 guests seated with same three waiters working, so not crowded. When food and drinks finally showed up it was really fine. So good grades for the kitchen!

We really wanted to like this place. The location seemed nice online - but in person you are surrounded by construction - this is 2021 but from what I can find the construction is going to be here for a while. It’s almost like the whole city is under construction. It makes navigating around the hotel, on foot, via bike/scooter, or in a car - very challenging. There is a ton of public transport here though. Which brings me to the next bad point. Noise. If you’re on the 6th floor with the balconies - don’t expect to leave your doors open unless you like noise. The busses and trains and other traffic are fairly quiet as far as transit goes - but they do make noise, as well as the traffic signals. And they run all the time. In addition - anything on the 6th floor and you get thumping bass music *all night* from the nightclub above you (especially on weekends). Damn near impossible to sleep. Another thing which bugged us (may not bug you) is a lot of people smoking on their patios around us made ours smell bad fairly often. The bathroom is a very neat concept - but executed poorly. The shower would flood water into the main part of the bathroom - like there is not enough slope or drain in the shower and no lip to keep water in there - so it just runs out under the door into the main bathroom area. The restaurants and bars in the hotel are nice. Breakfast was decent - nothing to be amazed by - but it will get you going for the day (although it was really crowded and often very hard to find a socially distanced seat - but this may not apply too long into the future I hope - this review is 2021). The bed is comfortable and the room nice enough. The patio chairs were not the most comfortable, and there was broken glass all around our patio so we had to wear shoes when walking out there. The view was very nice - albeit full of construction (not the fault of the hotel of course). Overall a nice place with lots of tiny flaws that made it annoying. Maybe if you stay farther away from the night club or on one of the lower floors it would be nicer or quieter. Not sure if the bathroom issues would exist in other rooms - if it is a design flaw it probably would.

Flora is a small charmy hotel close to city centre, shopping, Avenyen etc. Rooms OK, beds excellent, breakfast wasn't extravagant in any way but was good, a nice variety on a small bufé-line. Staff was friendly and profesional. Slow elevator and poor coffee in the breakfast-area is the only things worth mentioning on the negative side. Be aware, if arriving by car, parking outside the hotel has to 2 hour limit, and the hotels parking garage is 5-10 mins walk away.

Very central hotel located close to the train station. Super nice service at reception and fantastic servive in the oak bar, You have to visit this bar. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. A littel bit crowdy at breakfast and hard to get seats, So choose another time than peak time when the hotel is almost full. But overall a great place to stay.

Judging by the good reviews dating 2 or 3 years back, and my recent experience, I'd say this hotel probably suffered from the pandemic. On the plus side, the boat is beautiful, the location good, the welcome warm, and the breakfast was excellent. On the downside, the room was tired and shabby, had not been properly serviced, and the staff were somewhat confused. On an old ship, I'd expect the rooms to be old. But there was no closet to store clothes, just a couple of hangers dangling from loosely fitted hooks on the wall. The furniture was ancient, and the whole room needed renovation. There was only a tiny hand towel in the bathroom, and the trash was un-emptied. The service was also uneven to say the least. It was actually quite friendly, until we were told that the top deck was out of bounds and we had to stay ”inside”. We were not asked to prepay, and there was no-one in reception the following morning. We had to telephone a number written down at the desk to get someone to show up and take our money, and the checkout process took 20 minutes. In short, this looks like it was once an excellent hotel, but at least some of the rooms badly need renovating, and the whole business could do with an injection of professionalism.

I’ve booked a conference for our group with a few people traveling into Gothenburg internationally. However, due to circumstances outside our control, the meeting was cancelled. Because it was cancelled 4 days before the starting date, we could only get 15% of the money back. I understand that it is written clearly in the contract. However, the booking included accommodations, lunch and coffee breaks. The amount was actually substantial. If the rooms were booked separately, we could have cancelled them up to the day before with no penalties. My advice, book every item separately. By grouping all items together, there was a 10% discount, which is not worth the risk. As a good-will, I expected them to offer a discount next time I make a similar booking, which of course is not offered. So, I will communicate this to the entire company of 100+ people and make sure that we will not give business not only to Quality Hotel Panorama but the entire chain.

Gothenburg (pronounced ”Gothenburg” locally) It is a distance from the central station, but if it is a bright time, take the tram number 9 from the tram stop near the information center and take the Stenpiren tram stop. Get off at and walk for a few minutes. A taxi costs about 200 SEK (a little over 2000 yen, depending on the taxi company). Is the boarding time about 10 minutes in each case? The exterior was under construction when I went, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the room were satisfactory. The front desk is also friendly. ^ --^ Please note that there is a deposit here (because there are paid drinks in the room)! The breakfast was well kept warm and the taste was delicious.

It was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. Here is some pictures at Haga street, entrance of the street, beautiful church inside and outside.
