The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.

Room: relatively small room but well and logically equipped. Really nice view of Berlin. Comfortable bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Location: The Hotel is located across the Gedächtniskirche and the Berlin Zoo. A subway station is around the corner, only a 3 minute walk to S-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten (takes you to Berlin Central Station within 10 minutes), there is also a bus stop close by connecting major sights (Bus 100 / ~3€ - Victory Column -> Bellevue Castle -> Reichstag -> Brandenburg Gate -> Alexanderplatz). Many Hop-On-Hop-Off lines stop nearby as well. Service: CheckIn/CheckOut was fast, could have been a bit more friendly. The room was cleaned very well. Didn’t have breakfast. The bar and rooftop on the 10th floor are very popular.

Obviously traveling during COVID-19 times is going to have an impact on any hotel - the Waldorf was no exception but the staff did their very best to minimize the impact while adhering to new protocols. Every staff member I encountered was both very polite but also unobtrusive, the sign of a well run establishment. The hotel was spotlessly clean, both in the lobby and the room. The room (king with a view on the 9th floor) was well appointed and very comfortable. You know you are down to the details when your only complaint is that there are no USB charger points for you phone (1st world problems...). Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was that the Lang Bar was no longer open as I personally love that kind of bar but having a drink up on the 15floor overlooking Berlin was a decent compromise. The location of the hotel was a bit of a high and low; great for downtown, shops, restaurants, the zoo, the train station etc. Being near to the train station is often a mixed blessing, convenient but it can attract those less fortunate in life so if that bothers you, be aware. All in all a very pleasant two day and I certainly would return but I might wait until that bar is open again!

I stayed here for 2 nights and was very satisfied with the experience. Situated just a 5 minute walk from Zoologischer Gardens station, making it very easy to get round the city. Staff were pleasant and check in was easy. I was on the 5th floor and the room was quite big, with a good sized bathroom as well. The room was very clean, as was the whole of the hotel. There was a pleasant bar area, with a small terrrace and reasonably priced drinks. Parts of the hotel do look a little dated but nothing to complain about. Overall, a very nice hotel and one definitely worth considering if you are planning a trip to Berlin.

This modern hotel is at the Zoo end of the Ku'damm close to buses etc & 2 U-bahn stations. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful with a good standard of English. The room was a decent size with good Wi-Fi and a TV but unusually only 4 English language channels and no BBC or Sky news channels. Tea and coffee trays are not automatically supplied but can be provided if requested. There is very little storage space as the hotel is aimed at the business market so short stays are assumed. Our only negatives were that the bathroom is open design so no privacy is possible (the toilet does have a door) and there is no bar or restaurant other than for serving breakfast. We can't comment on the standard of breakfast as we didn't have it there because at 19€ per person it seemed very expensive and there are plenty of cafes etc nearby that are much cheaper. In summary it is a quiet, clean hotel with great staff but definitely aimed more at the business person than the leisure traveller.

It's my first time at the Sofitel Berlin Kudam and WOW the top design & top style, everywhere you have amazing paintings & sculptures. This is what makes you feel Berliner and the love for culture & Art. I have to thank also Alessia who made my registration, but without asking she gave me a gift and when I saw the view, she gave me a room from where I could see "Die Gedechniskircke" in front of me. I am often in Berlin but had never had this view. Also when entering the room the design the tast in the material they have choosen. The bathroom is made of green marmore and you get a selection of free drinks and the spece and quality its worth the money. Tomorrow will explore the surrounding and see that you are at the heart of Berlin and lots of restaurants to choose at Kudam....would also like to mention that safty is high in their priorities you feel safe and all precausion are implemented, even the TV control is inside a plastic bag to avoid any risk.

I read some negative reviews upfront, but I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed for one night with my 3 kids (11, 13 & 17 yo) in a large room with 4 beds. Lots of space, nice beds and plenty of room for us. It almost looked like an apartment, even though we just booked a family-room. When reviewing this hotel you have to look at the price. It is extremely cheep, and therefore you can't expect too much. It is suitable for a stay where you don't want to spend too much time in the room, but just need a place to sleep. The stairway is dark and old but functional and so is the elevator taking you to the 4th floor where the reception is. Hallways are ok, walls and carpet looks okay and the reception area is as it should be. I red that the staff is grumpy, but I did not experience that. They smiled and were cool. Note that we got a room on the same floor as the reception. If you live higher up, there is a small stairway which is rather small and steep, but I don't see that as at big problem. We did not book breakfast, so I cannot review that part. The best part is the location - only 30 metres from shopping street Kurfürstendamm. At ground level there is a cool cocktail bar with serving outside . Nice when you return home from a long day of sightseeing and shopping. It was a short stay, but I was very satisfied given the low price :-)

We organised a 3 day short break with David Erqhuart travel to Berlin, we were picked up at the airport and within 30 minutes we were at our hotel for our stay which was the hotel Indigo excellent central location. Clean modern the view from our 3rd floor room over the city was exceptional, great breakfast. So we started our sightseeing by taking a hop on hop off Great Bus cost 20 euro each which lasted for 48 hours. Brilliant value. We visited the Museum, the East Gallery Side marvellous art decor on the wall, the Brandenburgh Gate, the Jewish Cemetery which is a marvellous tribute to so many people who lost their lives. The following day we visited the Berlin Zoo an entrance fee of 16 euros no concessions. To say it is supposed to be one of the best zoos in Europe my opinion sorry to say is a joke. During our stay we also visited a few great restaurants - Spreegold located on the Budapester Strasse. Great atmosphere the place was buzzing, food more like a school dinner but ok. The next restaurant we visited was the Luardi friendly helpful staff my Argentinian fillet steak was marvellous, with drinks for 4 people a three course meal was 25 euros a head, brilliant food, excellent service. Congratulations to the chef. A must visit is recommended. Following day we visited the Berlin Zoo an entgrance charge of 16 euros

Booked a suite and on arrival was advised that due to a "system mix up" there was no suite but a better room would be offered. Willing to take a chance we went to the allocated room which was a junior suite with kitchenette in the front of the old building. The room was awful and unsafe, the kitchenette was basic with a few sticky items of cutlery / crockery. The fridge door would not close properly and one of the lights was blown. The large room had a small double bed, a power point came off the wall exposing wires and another light in the bathroom was blown. To top it off the A/C did not work and rattled and we were expecting 30'c the following day. Obviously we complained the room was unacceptable, after some furious computer tapping and uncertain mutterings a room was found, it miraculously was the exact suite we booked and paid for ! some comment about taking the allocation from someone else was made ? I don't like being made a fool of and I could not work out what was the reason for the room mix up. COVID-19 challenges aside we asked if the hotel was busy and was advised 80% full ?? we doubt this figure as we hardly saw other guests apart from one or two checking in or out. The suite was as we expected, comfortable and spacious, cleaning was done daily but the standard was not up to expectations and could have been better. Ate breakfast just once at 19 euro each it was expensive and bland, across the road we found a bagel café with amazing breakfast so would recommend this. Overall H10 Berlin was a let down and disappointment with very indifferent staff. I would not recommend or use again.

There was a moth on the hotel and no reservations were made. The hotel says their empty rooms are constantly updated. The rooms on the day are full. Then, on the other side of the Ctrip, Ctrip and the hotel communicated for forty minutes, or said to change the hotel to us. I took a train for a day and didn't eat dinner. I can imagine how big it was at the time. However, Ctrip later said that he could change to a better hotel. To be honest, even then, we have no strength to go. Fortunately, when we were preparing to change the hotel, the front desk ran over and told us that there was a customer no show 10 minutes ago. It just vacated one. And this handsome guy at the front desk and Ctrip telephone communicated the difference between the time: we can talk about the price later. Now I just want to take care of my guests. Let us listen very moved. I think that the intermediary that cooperates with this hotel is not very strong. Ctrip can consider changing a cooperative intermediary. Because a woman at the front desk said that the same happened before, and the intermediary who cooperated with Ctrip did not communicate enough, resulting in the room being gone.

Breakfast is okay, but it is still more monotonous than the domestic hotel. The location is very good, the entrance is the Potsdamer Platz, there is also a subway station, the Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament Building, the Berlin Shopping Center are very close, and there is a Mobai at the door, very convenient. There are also other companies sharing bicycles with children's seats, but the QR code can't be scanned. I don't know how to use them, but the hotel has a bicycle with a child seat for rent, 30 euros a day, 15 euros a day. To the northwest of the hotel is a large Tiergarten park, which is in a good environment with trees, grass and water.

Stayed here back in December last year, for a long weekend for the christmas markets before all the covid stuff had kicked off. We had hoped to return this year but due to the ongoing pandemic, its probably going to be 2022 now. The hotel is located in the East of the city. We flew in Tegel and found it a long , inconvenient journey but our return flight wasout of SXF which was much more convenient so the hotel will be pretty convenient for the new Berlin airport which opens soon. The lobby was spacious, trendy and contemporary as were the guest rooms. Our room was quiet though 2 of the lads we were travelling with had rooms overlooking a trainline, so request rooms away from trains. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we slept well . Everything felt very clean. We booked a hotel with spa facilities so had been expecting an indoor pool! disappointed that there was not one in the hotel however they did have a really relaxing spa area that had a hot whirlpool aswell as the usual saunas , so that was a nice way to chill out in the evenings after a long, cold day in Berlin! Please note however, its strictly trunks off. You have to use the area completely naked , which they say is for hygiene reasons. Although this was a little out of my comfort zone it did not detract us from enjoying the facility, I felt more embarrassed about my friends who i was travelling with having to see me naked though since we were sharing rooms we all owned up to sleeping naked anyway which no longer made it a big deal but for some guests particularly ladies it might be out of your comfort zone, so just making you aware, as its a mixed sex facility though was mainly men the two occasions that we used it which made it a little less awkward!. Breakfast was an extensive buffet which is free and had a great selection of hot and cold food that we thought was above average for a hotel buffet. Its very accesible for getting into alexanderplatz on the tram. Berlin is one of our favorate European cities, its cool, quirky and there is so much to see and do at anytime of the year. This is a great hotel and we look forward to another long weekend once all this horrible covid stuff is over. Staying safe and positive for now because we know that one day we will travel again!!!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a city break. The hotel itself was ok, it was clean it was functional without being anything special. It was a little dull is how I would describe it without anything being really wrong. The staff were fine without being friendly. The lobby is poorly planned and the staff are locked away being big columns which are terribly placed. Two criticisms, one was that the lift was out of order and hence left one lift to cater for 4 floors and during Covid times the lift was always busy and long waits were standard. The second was that the bathroom had a glass panel from the room which let light in but overlooked the toilet and I thought it a little inappropriate that someone in the room could easily watch you doing a number 2 the other side of the glass. Not ideal. For these two reasons I gave it a 3 out of 5. Poorly designed. But the location was 10/10. 100m from Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terrors. Lovely pub opposite side of the road.

Our room on the 13th floor was standard category. Spartan in decor, purely functional in layout, the room was clean, the tv worked and it had a minibar plus good view . No tea or coffee making facilities but that might just be a Radisson feature. However, when I needed help in checking in on line for a flight home, the wonderful lady at the Customer Relations desk was just amazing. I never established her name, but think her surname was 'Williti'. She is absolutely a gem and patiently managed to get us check-in with EasyJet, and printed out our boarding cards. Thank you so much. My wife and I were then treated to a trip to the 37th floor to enjoy the magnificent views. It was a very kind gesture and one we won't forget. I hope Radisson Alexanderplatz management appreciate they have a star on their team.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were stylish and very clean and quiet. The only thing missing was a tea/coffee making facility. We were impressed with the environmentally sensitive touches. We were happy to pass on the room service each day and were rewarded with a drink voucher each day. We used these for a delicious hot chocolate at bedtime on our last night. The breakfast selection was varied and of good quality. So much choice you couldn't fail to find things you wanted and there were plenty of healthy options. Our favourite was the automatic pancake maker. Gluten free options are available. There were plenty of tables and the restauraunt staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We purchased our travel day ticket each day from the reception (validate it as you get on the tram each day). The hotel is well located to access the transport system and we used the trams, underground, rural train system and buses using our ticket. We would definitely stay again. The only reason we are not awarding 5 stars is the lack of tea/ coffee making facilities. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable.

The Riu Plaza is a 4-star place owned by the Spanish Riu chain, obviously aimed primarily at business and conference people. But it's a good place to stay for holidaymakers too. - Very well located in Schöneberg, 150 metres from Wittenbergplatz (and a little further to Nollendorfplatz in the other direction), so pretty easy access on the U-bahn to almost everywhere, and only 1 stop from Zoo Garden terminal for airport buses. - large, airy rooms, with good views (we were on 16th floor), comfortable bed, excellent and spacious shower and good bathroom in general, fast lifts - a good bar, with friendly bar and wait staff, and not overpriced, just off the reception desk area - generally friendly and efficient front desk staff (but see further on) - not expensive, at least in winter; we paid only just over 100 euros a night, which is good value Its flaws are minimal, but...: - Breakfast is too expensive. Sure, it has all the usual breakfast buffet stuff, but it significantly adds to the cost of the holiday to cough up 19 euros pp each day (we stayed 4 nights). Having just come from an excellent central hotel in Lisbon, where we had an excellent breakfast for 12 euros pp each morning, it seemed excessive, so we settled for a nearby cafe each day. - Make sure you put the 'do not disturb' sign on your door each day if you don't want to get up early. The first day we were there, Monday, having arrived in Berlin at half past midnight, we were woken up at 8.45 am by a cleaner banging on the door. Happened again at the same time a couple of days later when we forgot to put the sign out. Sorry, when you're staying for 4 days, there's no reason to clean the room that early - and I blame the management, not the cleaners, who just do what they're told. - Some of the staff are a little slapdash. E.g., the kettle in our room had been ruined by an idiot previous occupant trying to use it as a coffee perculator, so there was a baked-on layer of coffee on the bottom of it. On our way out the next morning, we took it down to the front desk - the guy there actually asked us to take it back up to our room on the 16th floor, and assured us it would be replaced by the cleaners. When we returned from sightseeing 6 hours later, guess what - the ruined kettle was still there in our room. Fail! I know this is a 1st-world problem, but the original front desk guy should have just taken the kettle and organised to get it replaced. When we took it down again, this time the woman on the front desk took it from us, and a short time later a new kettle was in our room. I don't want to criticise the place too much, as it was pretty good overall and we'd stay there again. But it felt a little impersonal, and while most of the staff were excellent, some were not well-trained or motivated enough to deal properly with issues, relatively minor though our's were. Thus, it gets 4 stars, not 5.
