This was a very clean and comfortable place. Our kids had a separate bedroom which is always nice! The staff were so friendly and very helpful with advice. We enjoyed our breakfasts there too (I can't remember if we paid extra for the breakfasts or if it was free with the price of the room). They really like kids, which we appreciated! It is very close to the airport but a bit far from everything else.

Booked this hotel as it was a reasonable price & there was free parking available. It's very near the airport, but the online maps were a bit confusing so we couldn't really find it easily. Thankfully we saw the office for Andalouse Group and the hotel was just behind it. The room was very spacious, and largely clean. Furniture was OTT ornate. We booked a room with a sea view and there was barely one with neighbouring buildings but we did see a bit of blue! The door to the balcony was very hard to open; we had to ask a staff member for help & you had to push it with quite alot of force. There was no lock on the balcony door. The aircon didn't work either, or the heating, so the last couple of days of our stay when the weather turned cooler were quite difficult as there were no extra blankets. The room is cleaned every other day & the rubbish bin in the toilet is not emptied. There seems to be some blockage in the shower so water takes forever to drain off which meant we had to wait for this to go down before opening the shower door. Breakfast wasn't bad - this was served on time & there were hot & cold selections. There isn't any variation though so the hot food was mainly sausages, sigara böreği & boiled egg. WiFi connection was generally ok - best of the 3 places we stayed at this trip. There are a number of eateries and convenience shops nearby so there is no need to head into the city for essentials. Not a bad place to stay at if you have your own means of transport (about 15 mins' drive in).

Typical reasonably maintained 3/4 stars hotel in the heart of Trabzon with friendly staff and very good breakfast... Black Sea view from my room 613 was really relaxing and the room was good for one person maybe for honeymooners also. Walking distance to almost every important city centre locations and shops. Even a walking distance to Forum Mall 2.5 miles ( if you love walking) and you can always come back with a minibus ( Dulmus) for 35 cents (2.5lira) Mattress is ok but pillows can be better House keeping staff is friendly and courteous

We stayed here after cancelling a reservation in the city center. Very nice hotel, with a great view of Trabzon. We stayed during COVID, and the hotel was almost empty. Gym was excellent, but indoor pool/jacuzzi was only for ladies. Bar was well stocked, and the Kebab place downstairs was top 3 for our trip in Turkey. Solid choice, and a great way to get away from the craziness of Trabzon city center. The only downside of this place is that other restaurants/attractions aren't really walkable from here. If you're approaching this hotel via car and google maps, double check if it's putting you on main roads or alleyways. Main roads may be 2 minutes longer, but significantly less stress to drive.

From the check in till last moment staff pretty kind and smiling to the guests but such a beauty hotel has 2 cons and the rest is all positive , no traditional breakfast the hotel located in Black Sea but doesn’t provide any local foods and second since we are from another it wasn’t good to turn ac to heater mode they did have only cold mode because of the central system .

This centrally located 6 story hotel is very convenient to use as a point to walk the city, city walls, historic district and be near the Black Sea. It was truly 8 minutes to the International Airport from the hotel door! The rooms are spacious, with enough space to comfortably relax and enjoy the room. Super quiet rooms with thick double windows to lock out the sound. In room mini-bar and coffee maker. Double showers in the bathroom, and even a bidet. Amazing breakfast spread included in the price (7-10 am), with superb local cuisine. Only complaint: Service personnel need to be asked to do something several times (this is probably just a language barrier). The Hamam was fantastic, with competent and well trained staff. For 90 minutes of sauna, washing, and a massage, it is well worth it -- and you don't have to go anywhere afterwards -- just back to your room to dream. Central courtyard is pretty with numerous chairs. Free WiFi access in the room, although it can be slow. Fabulous place.

Staff very helpful, Please ignore a negative review left incorrectly on Hotels.com, which refers to a completely different apartment in a different city (Yerevan, Armenia).

Depending on price I'd say it's fairly excellent. This hotel-apartment is particularly proper for whom have their own car as it's far from city center. there is a shopping center -Froum near the hotel you can enjoy walking through about 1 km . Staff are friendly and warm as well. the suits and rooms are clean. For the advantages of kitchen stuff plus a supermarket next to hotel you give the opportunity to cook your meal and save money. I would recommend you guy using google map to find your route because there is no way to find anywhere without it.

Every thing was just great . Starting from our first step into this nice , calm hotel . Staff are always smiling and ready to help you. I went there with my parents 82&78 yrs , my wife and 4 children . They did everything to make our stay great . They gave us early check in. The rooms are spacious , super clean, super comfortable beds . The illumination system design is different than any other hotel I have been to , you can change the intensity and the color of the lights by a remote control. The rooms had jacuzzi. Even my children enjoyed it . Breakfast was delicious with big variety. They offered us free shuttle service to and from the airport. I think this hotel is the best for honeymooners. We are a couple + 1 daughter. Here is our story... We were looking for a hotel at late night due to last minute change in program. After lots of searches, this hotel came up in one of the hotel apps. We were hesitant a bit due to previous warnings from friends about the hotels in the area not being true to the pictures. Lack of recent reviews in most hotels strengthened those fears. We arrived to the hotel without a reservation because we wanted to see the room first. The price was too good compared to the luxury displayed in the pictures. We arrived late at adding 10PM. We parked the car nearby (Google maps is not accurate as it leads to a nearby blocked road that you need to continue on foot). We were welcomed by an extremely polite guy who speaks English well and offered us the triple room and agreed to show us the room. It was perfect! 1:1 with the pictures! He then came with me to instruct me on how to find the correct free parking used by the hotel guests (10 steps from the hotel). I didn't have great expectations from the breakfast due to the low rate per night, but actually it was relatively surprisingly good (not 5 star. You can't expect this ) It's a good thing that due to COVID-19, you are not allowed to pick the dishes/cutlery/food by yourself. There are several ladies there who are responsible to pick the items for you. There are egg dishes but you can order a custom made omelette at extra charge (~15TL). And there is a small Starbucks at the ground floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone as come back again.

We didn’t get off to a good start. There was apparently no record of our prepaid booking through an agent. We were left while the manager tried to sort it out. Unusually for Turkey there was no offer of tea or anything while we were kept waiting. We made an international call to our agent who confirmed with us that the booking had been made and it would be sorted. Meanwhile he suggested we book in again to make sure we had a room. The hotel asked for prepayment which we refused but we were shown to a room. Later, confirmation came through and we were shown to our “booked” room. No apologies. This set the tone for this very basic hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. The room was very noisy from the street till very late. However, the location proved to be good. I don’t know how this hotel compares with others in the town but we were not impressed.

The staff were very pleasant upon arrival and throughout our stay at this clean, well-appointed and quite stylish hotel. The place offers excellent value for money, and while not a high-end luxury place (there are no facilities like a sauna or hamam) the wifi was reliable and the highlight was undoubtedly breakfast in the large dining area. So much to choose from and both the quality and the taste were excellent. The location of the hotel is a little surprising - it's not really next to anything, but is within walking distance (<10 minutes) to the big Trabzon shopping mall, and a short dolmus (minibus) or taxi ride to the city centre. It's convenient for the airport if you are just needing an overnight stay in Trabzon.

A relaxing hotel if you are in the nature mood, the location is a bit difficult because it passes under a bridge, but when you reach the hotel it is worth it a very quite place, you will hear only the sound of the river washing your tentions. The breakfast is fine, not much assorted, but you can ask for special eggs. If you like the rain you are at the right place, at this time usualy it refrishingly rains twice a day. With pines trees forrest it smills very nice oxygen. Try to get a room with a view on the river. Mr. Waleed and Miss Elif were very helpfull, and cheering. Relax, enjoy, have fun.

I’ve spent a very pleasant week in the BlackSea region, and my stay at Nur hotel made my trip even better, the hotel’s location is in the middle of city center with views on the city’s Meydan and the sea as well, the rooms are very nice and the staff is extremely helpful, especially mr. Eyüp, this guy is just the best, he’s very kind and helpful and he organized all of our trips around the region with affordable prices, so a huge shoutout to him, a little issues in the hotel for me were the cleaning service, as it wasn’t that great, and the breakfast, as it is with limited variety and not generous, but that’s all, everything else was amazing. In general, Trabzon and the BlackSea region is probably the best part of Turkey, and i enjoyed it to the full, and i recommend it to everyone, and highly recommend staying in Nur hotel whenever you decide to go there.

The Grand Vuslat looks like a fairly standard 3-4 star hotel and indeed it is. Nothing fancy but solid in most aspects. I stayed 2 nights while visiting Trabzon in late July. Firstly, the hotel is well positioned down a narrow passage close to Ataturk Alani giving easy access to restaurants and transport. My room was clean and tidy with a king-size bed, small table and 2 chairs and a built in desk unit along one wall. There was a kettle and tea/coffee making bits and an empty mini fridge, although interestingly the price list for minibar items was still sitting on the desk. The window which opened up as either a window or a door looked out on a car park behind and eventually through to the Black Sea in the distance. The bathroom was large with a good size shower enclosure and nicely decorated with marble-effect tiles. The room wasn't serviced during my stay but this is probably a coronavirus procedure rather than what occurs under normal circumstances. The wifi was a bit unreliable – mostly okay but with the occasional slow down/freeze for no apparent reason. My only real complaint concerns sub-standard sound proofing between rooms. When my neighbour made a lengthy and loud telephone call she may as well have been in my room but fortunately it ended around 10PM and no more was heard that night. I saw only one other guest apart from her so it is likely that the hotel was just about empty meaning the lack of noise dampening was not an issue. However, I suspect it may be in busier times. A nicely presented, individual Turkish breakfast was served in an indoor/outdoor restaurant on the ground floor where I was the only guest eating at the time. The daytime receptionist spoke some English and he and the other front of house staff were helpful arranging a tour to Sumela Monastery at short notice and calling a cab to get me back to the airport early in the morning. Overall, the Grand Vuslat is a reasonable choice for a downtown hotel but bedroom noise could be an issue.

First impressions were that the place seemed very cozy with its central location and a small park that is in front of the hotel. However, expectations were subverted as the place seemed different than the pictures - the large area in front of the houses was redecorated to fit the numerous weddings that take place during the summer. It was a bit crammed walking to the rooms, but nothing major. It was also quite hard to communicate with the manager as he preferred Turkish as opposed to English. Our rooms were quite nice as it had two rooms and then a small living room, where we could all play cards. The beds are comfy, but we did not really have a duvet, so we choose to use a thin blanket. The AC is very good and the rooms are nice and cool at night, so we always woke up well-rested, but if there is weeding, do not expect sleep till after 10 as the weedings can be very loud. However, a somewhat annoying inconvenience was the hotel WIFI because it was very unreliable and often we had to resort to using our own data rather than the WIFI. The breakfast is very disappointing because the breakfast plates are pre-made a day or more in advance and then stored in the fridge until served. The breakfast plates are always the same every day with very monotone components - we were a bit let down to see a lack of enthusiasm because there were so many ways that the breakfast could have been elevated. Overall, the place is good for sleeping as it has a very good central location, but we were let down as we had high hopes for this hotel. We are not going to be staying here again.

A hotel that I particularly recommend, it feels better than those online celebrity hotels. The staff are super friendly, take the initiative to help carry the boxes, bring Turkish tea to the door, welcome us, and give us a detailed introduction to the attractions. Changed a room with a superb view! The only viewing room. Except the shower is a bit old, everything else is very satisfying. You can see the hot air balloon in the morning when you open the curtains on the bed. There are several platforms for taking pictures in the hotel. The best thing is that their breakfast is very generous, which is the best I have eaten throughout the trip, which is suitable for my Chinese stomach. There is also a cute dog, a really good hotel. like!

The hotel is okay, but the local service staff has problems. In February, the hot air balloon that was booked by the front desk wavelet for the 180th National Day of Europe was played eight months in advance, and we temporarily canceled that we could not arrange it, and then arranged for others. Finally, I said that my friend has two positions but the price increased to 380 euros. I thought we were like this. I didn't expect my friend to come across this situation two days later. Poor evaluation of wavelet, and his reputation in the local area is not good! Don't ask him to book a hot air balloon. Hot air balloons can be booked in advance on Taobao or Ctrip!
