The place is ok, clean and in a good position if you like to stay in Navigli. The price is too high for the service. Design Furnitures but they are not functional. Low quality breakfast for the price of the room, food from the supermarket and not really fresh.

I stayed in this hostel for two nights. I remained quite impressed by the conditions of the building, although pretty recent (4 months old to date). Rooms were clean and the furniture was modern (I remained particularly surprised about showers). Besides having secured doors at each point, a guard is patrolling overnight which gives you a feeling of safety very few can guarantee. I have to recognise particular gentleness and professionalism to staff, very keen to help with each necessity. Moreover, I personally loved the check-in procedure. Essentially, it starts at the time of the booking so you have the chance to do it in advance, so when you came to the hostel you just need to confirm and that’s it. You don’t need to go to the reception, there are tablets which allow you to check-in in all comforts. Although the metro is 5 minutes by walk, you would have the chance to tour a very cosy and active area full of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Although a bit expensive, it is a good place to visit the city and not being too far from downtown.

This is exactly how I want my hotel experiences to be. This hotel is right in the middle of the best shopping streets and close to Duomo yet tucked away behind an old wooden door only accessed by a buzzer on a gold plated sign. There’s hardly any info about the hotel and you’ll have to go to the 3rd floor to find the tiny reception. Rooms are onfleek in terms of decor. Love the fishbone hardwood floors. It’s a bit like the decor at the Room Mate ny Duomo. And, that’s 3 times the budget... I almost don’t want to give this gem away.. it’s that good!

We arrived at Hotel Ideale after a long hot walk from the train station. Loredana welcomed us, gave us cold water (much needed and appreciated) shared that our room would be available in an hour (2 hours before normal check-in time!), stored our bags in a nook in the tiny lobby adjacent to the front desk and sent us to an affordable family-run restaurant named Amo Pizza around the corner from the hotel. After eating Amo's tasty pizza and partaking in a glass of wine, we returned to the hotel cooled off and ready for check-in. The room was an average sized hotel room (for a European boutique hotel) consisting of a queen sized bed, a closet with several hangers, shelves to fit any foldable items, one luggage rack and long and narrow bathroom with a pedestal sink, a toilet and a shower. What the room did not have was air conditioning. We were a bit confused as Expedia listed AC as one of the room's amenities but didn't complain or seek any explanation at the time as the room had a fan and was already a pleasant temperature. Pro-Tip: Book your room directly with the hotel. Apparently, because Expedia charges the hotel a fee per booking, those cheap rooms you see on the site are in fact the ones that do not have AC. (We booked the least expensive option as we were only staying in Milan for one night) Loredana told us that booking directly with the hotel will be comparable in price and will ensure you get AC on those hot Summer days. Loredana also recommended an area by the Naviglio Grande which was filled with restaurants, vendors, and a nice mix of locals and tourists. While I forget the name of the area it was a lovely scene and a great place to have some lunch and do some people watching. My husband has visited Milan many times and had never heard of this place. It was a great way to experience something new in Milan together. (Thanks Loredana!) Overall, our stay at Hotel Ideale was very pleasant!

Booked this to be close to most things including Milano Central. About 1km give or take. Easy walking even with large luggage. Rooms were very clean bar some black fungus in the shower wall joints, which can be expected in older motels. Pesky stuff won't go easily. Rest of room was very clean. Floors, walks, furniture and window sills very very clean. Older style accommodation. Breakfast was ok. Some staff were friendly others didn't seem to be fussed. About 4-5 km from most attractions including Duomo di Milano and shopping strip. No coffee or tea making facilities in room. Can get a coffee or tea downstairs at the posted prices. Bar fridge in room with stock of drinks. Plenty of nearby food places. Ok for the price and location. Beds firm. Fresh towels each day and good size bath towels. Beds made each day. Generally very happy with the room.

The staff were polite and attentive at all times. Overall the room had the essential amenities and was clean. Complimentary There was a lack of attention to detail in the cleanliness of the room; the shower seal black with mould. Sheets were clean, however the towels were not fluffly, in fact these were very thin. The room is on the compact size, and it is clear in the photos. I accept that this a hotel of the 'budget' kind. The air conditioning did not function. The average outside high temperate on the forecast was 28-30 degrees Centigrade over the four to five days. We did not make a complaint about this as lacked the confidence. The location of the hotel means that it is in close proximity to Piola Metro Station on M2 . There are a number of supermarkets, including Pam Panorama a few meters away. I did not get a good night sleep on any of the five nights. The sirens and noises from the ambulances are a regular occurrence. The traffic noise, car horns are also a regular occurrence as drivers do not often 'go' on the green signal... and the Milanese are known for their impatience. My written request on the booking for a top floor room and an explanation about suffering from Migraine was ultimately not accommodated. My partner explained that the bed was great; firm and very comfortable. I have stayed many times on many years in Milano, but it is sad to say that we did not enjoy this trip. I therefore cannot recommend a stay in this hotel.

The entire hotel is the perfect combination of modern and antique interior with rich woodwork and a grand entrance marble staircase and pillars throughout the foyer. We stayed at the hotel Pierre Milano in January 28-30, 2020. The staff was very welcoming and they even upgraded us for free in executive room as it was my boyfriend's birthday. The guys at the reception were super kind and even offered us coffee as we were doing the check in. I was a bit skeptical before my arrival as I had read some reviews that said that the staff was rude, but this could not be more untrue. The staff was super kind and helpful. The room was super nice and comfortable, large bathroom and the breakfast was bountiful, savory and sweet and Prosseco as well if you'd like. I would definitely go back to Hotel Pierre when I return to Milano.

BeHome is a beautiful, super clean apartment in a great location. The train station is only 200 metres away and 3 stops away from Duomo station where Piazza Duomo is located. It is located in a lovely neighbourhood with many excellent restaurants close by. BeHome is tastefully decorated. My room was very clean, with good mattress, fluffy pillows which make for a good night's sleep. There is complimentary mineral water, tea, coffee, biscuits in the kitchen. This is a chance to experience an Italian neighbourhood and admire the famed marble flooring of a Milanese home. Gloria replies promptly and is most helpful with directions, where to eat etc. Grazia! My husband and I spent a weekend in Milan and stayed at Room Inn, which we can sincerely recommend. Our room had everything we needed and a beautiful own terrace with eatable grapes. Our host went above and beyond to give advice and tips for our stay and made us a delicious breakfast each day. The location is central with shopping streets and tourist sites at walking distance. The blocks around the B&B have plenty of restaurants and bars, in the evening we could just go around the corner for a drink with the locals. The street life is not disturbing in the room thanks to a courtyard in between. The Room Inn made our weekend away very nice!

This small hotel is such convenient, if you are in Milan to visit the Scala, as we did. Moreover the staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are big enough and very clean, also quite modern (the bathtub in the bedroom!). The breakfast is typically continental, but if you like American- or English breakfast you request fried eggs with bacon and the friendly waiter will supply it within a few minutes. We were profiting from their winter rates, which made the stay in Milan not too expensive (the expensive part was the tickets for the Opera with Netrebsko singing Tosca, but unfortunately she was ill and some other singer had to stand in for her). All-in-all: I would very much recommend this hotel and we are sure to visit it again, next time we come to Milan.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. Train/metro/bus are all 2 minute walk away and it's 15-20 minutes straight to the Duomo stop. Only downside was the room seemed quite warm with no real means (apart from opening the window!) of adjusting it. Overall a good stay in a nude 3 star hotel.

Pros : Excellent location - located in heart of the city, 5-7 mins walk from 2 different Metro stations in both sides (Loreto and Lima) and walking distance from all required amenities. Good connectivity to Milan central for airport transfers and Duomo. Very cordial and helpful stuff. Luggage drop facility is available in case of early check in or late check out, also a restroom is provided to freshen up which is a plus. Tea/Coffee, Drinks available @reception. The room was spacious with attached terrace having sitting arrangements which was good for relaxing after a hectic day of travel and walk. Cons : Steep staircase to first floor reception- no lift, difficult for people carrying big luggages Rooms are old and vintage - may not be ideal for people looking for modern and new property to stay No restaurants in the property. Bathrooms are comparatively very small, we found the shower panel door difficult to close and shower area slippery. The property is located in a street in city centre, looks like an old residential building hence people looking for a good view will be dissappointed.

Milan app rental At the airport we booked transportation with Milan Appartment Rental because we arrived at night and we were not allowed to do otherwise. Upon arriving at the airport there was no one at the exit. We were overwhelmed and could not contact anyone. He arrived half an hour later. He didn't give us a taxi bill that cost € 150. For 6 people only 3 sachets of gel and 1 shampoo for 5 nights, they said they were only for the first day, still we are 6, not 4. Scarce and poorly organized. A set of sheets did not correspond to the size of the bed, as it was very late we slept as we could and the next day we said it and they gave us the top sheet of the correct size. The freezer was full of frost, ice. Used and old scrub sponge. Some dishes had traces of food, in the dishwasher there was a dirty pot, the pan was disgusting, the kitchen drawers with many traces of bread from the toaster, which by the way, was very dirty. The washing machine, which we did not use, had stagnant water and traces of floating mold, the filthy door rubbers and the shower and kitchen joints were very damaged and dirty. The quilts, which luckily we do not need, had yellowish spots, like pee. The painting of the walls badly, although it is seen that they have ever painted, yes, the cut is seen in the middle of the wall to save painting from the half up and the ceiling. Although the rules say that they leave a dishwasher tablet, it is not so, I imagine that so you do not use it and do not spend light. We had to take out the trash bags before we left. Rules of use of electricity: € 1 / hour of air conditioning, iron, washing machine ... I think it is abusive. We do not use anything. The deposit, which is charged by card, is not returned on departure, but by bank and they say it can take up to 3 weeks !!! They could ask for it in cash and return it when leaving the accommodation. You leave without knowing if they will return you or not. They told us to take pictures when we left, and also the electricity meter. I find abusive rules. Of course, we took pictures of all this. Booking should return the money.

We came late at night to think that it was a hotel which it’s not so this was false information beforehand as it is right outside a petrol station and car wash however the room is absolutely lovely and I like how they name them after cities. It is quite far from the main centre so I would advise to book a taxi in advance as it’s extremely pricey but the bus stop isn’t too far and it is for free. There isn’t much for breakfast but they have a lovely coffee machine. If it’s a place where you would like to rest and get an early night then I definitely wouldn’t stay here due to the walls being thin and there is a club down the road which kept us awake most till early hours of the morning. The staff are friendly but also quite a lot of them I found them not at the front desk in times where we needed them and the rooms are nice but if I were to come back to Milan I would stay elsewhere.

Another terrible flight! Unfortunate I was “forced” to fly with WizzAir, to Milano from Bucharest (and return). I was in the airport with 1 hour earlier, I stayed in front of the gate, and when we were supouse to get in the airplaine, nobody made the announcement regarding the missing passengers (therefore we had a 40 minute delay). But, I don’t want to remember about the flight, so, in the following rows I will write about the hotels in Milano and Torino. I stayed 2 nights, 1 in Milano and another one in Torino. The first night was in Milano at Camplus College Turro - University Residence, it is a decent hotel with a very decent breakfast (if you stay one or two nights, it is a good choice, but it is not very close to city center). The second night I was in Torino (traveling by the train). It was a very interesting experience, the journey lasted 45 minutes as the train speed was around 300km/h. I recommend you this way of transfer between the cities. The town is small but nice and full of history. In Torino I stayed at Tourist Hotel, it is very old, the room was outdated and the furniture I think it was 25 years old! The breakfast was poor, serving 1 coffee per person.

I stayed here for three nights in the single room, the room itself is small but clean and decently up to date, nothing luxurious but it has all you need, honestly at this price point I was expecting less so I was very pleasantly surprised how cozy and comfortable it was. I liked that the hotel is fairly quiet but the walls are very thin and you will hear everything your neighbors are doing or people walking in the hall. The breakfast has pastries, yogurt and coffee - nothing special but it was good and you get a free water bottle every day. At night when reception is closed the front door to the hotel is closed and locked as well and the windows of the room face a yard not the street, so that made me feel safe. Only downfall is that the couple running the place speak very limited english, but they are very friendly and helpful and you will manage with simple english and body language, they even offered me an umbrella when it was raining outside. Location is good, about 5-6min walk to metro station and there are several other bus stops around, the street is very quiet, I did not try to walk to city center but it shouldn't be a long walk. I would recommend this place if you are coming for an active city trip and plan to just shower and sleep in the hotel, for which this is a great place!

We stayed at Teodora Bed and Breakfast during our recent trip to Europe. The photos didn’t do the property justice. We were amazed by the tasteful decor and quality hospitality we received, not to mention the best breakfast we had during our travels in Paris, Rome, Como and Florence. Our lovely host made home made cheese puffs, biscotti, chocolate slice, eggs done anyway we liked, as well as delicious cold cuts and cheese. Our room was generously sized with lots of space to spread our things out as well as a balcony looking into a beautiful garden, a very comfortable bed, a sitting area with plush chairs and ample wardrobe space. The ensuite bathroom is spotlessly clean. We also had access to a cosy and elegantly furnished sitting room lit by soft lamps and full of art books and artwork. As we visited Milan specifically to see art this was perfect for us! Our hosts were also incredibly helpful with information about all of the galleries and current exhibitions including the best dates to visit. Above all the hospitality we experienced was above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay again and recommend anyone who appreciates high quality hospitality and a wonderful breakfast to stay there.

Our stay at Camperio House was almost perfect. It is in an excellent location, with easy access by foot or metro to anywhere in Milan. We had a deluxe suite which was large and well appointed. The bathroom, although small, had loads of shelf space. Front of house staff were all excellent, as was the breakfast. The only downside was housekeeping - very hit and miss. The obvious places were clean but under the bed and the extract grill in the bathroom were gross. The room had not been checked before we arrived which meant we had to call maintenance to open the safe before we could use it. Coffee pods were replaced once but not each day. That may be the usual thing but without a room directory we had no idea, nor of the other services available at the hotel. So if you want a classy hotel in a perfect location this would be one to choose. We will probably do so again.

Choosing a hotel, which is not a part of well-established chain is always a bit of a gamble, but this time it was a jackpot. Ai Suma is a small hotel in Milano's centre. My room was spotlessly clean and spacious, the bed was big and comfortable. The room had a functional air-condition and even a descent mini bar. The biggest surprise was however the breakfast. It did not include warm dishes, but the variety of the foods as pastry, fruits, cheese and meat cuts were successfully replacing this. I would like specifically to mention that the service was simply excellent: polite and efficient. There are several places for vining and dining right outside the entrance and it is walking distance to the metro station.

OK, so my standards are not high being a backpacker but 1) I found the staff very helpful and comforting after I arrived after having had some bad news. 2) The room was small, but well laid out and the twin bed was almost a double in size. 3) My room was on the top floor at the back of the hotel and had double glazed windows, so apart from some elevator noise, it was very relaxing ! 4) Air Con was appreciated. I would definitely return, but ask for a back room. Cheers.

We chose Navigliotel19 because of it’s proximity to our daughter who is living and working in Milan. We were a party of 6, young and older! And we had a suite and an extra room. Communication from the moment of booking was outstanding and on arrival at the hotel, a warm welcome awaited us and we were shown straight to our rooms even though we arrived before midday! The hotel is very clean, warm and comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. The canal is a 5 minute walk and the centre of Milan a short tram ride from the canal so Navigliotel19 is very well placed for sightseeing without paying central prices. Breakfast is included and the smell of fresh baking wafts through the hotel to draw you down! Fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, pastries and cheese and ham were all available as well as excellent Italian coffee and juices. We watched England lose the rugby in our room and probably upset the whole cleaning routine but nobody seemed to mind. We were always met with smiling, courteous staff who’s English is far, far better than my Italian. I will definitely come back again as this hotel ticked all the boxes for me!

We had to extend our stay in Milan and had to book this hotel at the last minute. We had to pay higher than the normal rate because of it. We needed a budget hotel near Centrale station as we would be leaving early in the morning. Check in was quick, all our details were there as we booked online. We had to pay the tourist tax upfront and were given the old fashioned key to the room. We booked the last available room which was just a few steps up on the ground floor. The advantage was that we did not have to take our luggage up the flights of stairs. The hotel has no lifts and I could see the staff struggling to take up heavy suitcases. The disadvantage is that on the ground floor you can hear the noises from the metro or the trams even early in the morning. This is a three star hotel. Our room was basic but quiet big. We actually had a double bed and a single bed. There was a very small LCD tv attached to a sky box. There was a wardrobe with a small safe. It was all basic suitable for a 3 star hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Our room faced the back of the hotel, we could open the door that would lead out to the small back garden, useful in the summer. We had a small bathroom, it could be a bit of a squeeze. It had a WC, bidet, sink and a shower cubicle which was a little tight. Toiletries included soap, shampoo, body wash and toothbrush and toothpaste. We had breakfast included which you had to go downstairs. It was a basic serve yourself affair. Croissants of different fillings, tea and coffee from a pot. Yoghurts, bread that you can toast. For the price it was ok, cheaper than going to a cafe where you would pay more for a 2 cups of coffee and a croissant. The location was important. You can walk to the train station in about 10 minutes. We needed to get the bus to the airport. You can also get to the underground station. There are several places to eat nearby and you can walk to Corso Buenos Aires in a few minutes. It is a long road with branded stores, fast food and other restaurants. This is a good hotel if you expect nothing fancy, get it cheap and want to be located near the train station. There are 2 star hotels nearby but this one was better.
