First time staying here and so glad we chose these apartments, Reg and Heidi make you feel like part of their family and the other tourists were also friendly. Quiet apartments as only have 8 rooms, we loved them so much that we have changed our accomodation for September and going back here. Great home made food, Heidi makes her own Jam, Reg grows his own olives and they use butter made in old village, i tasted all these with a Turkish breakfast. Very clean and spacious apartments.

My Turkish husband went in and negotiated a great price for the night. Previously we had stayed in another resort and decided to stay an extra night in Marmaris and the other place couldn’t accomodate is so we chose this hotel. The room rate considering the location was brilliant. Upon walking in the concierge Cengis noticed we had a small plastic bag. My husband asked how much to have it laundered. He said don’t worry we will fix it. It won’t be much. We had a full suitcase of dirty laundry at the last place and it only cost 45tl. No problem. We were told it would be ready after breakfast the next morning. The room itself was great except it would help if the tv had anything english in it and the menu etc in the room was in English (it is touristic Marmaris) and staff, although couldn’t speak English were lovely and fun. The next morning though we went down for the average breakfast. The staff were all lovely and having fun until the Manager walked in. The staff all suddenly looked terrified. No longer were they friendly, just professional and silence. This is not good for the guests. We then got our luggage from the room and went to leave. Asked for our laundry. It came back, the charged us $170tl!!! The items were not ironed, still half wet and two white shirts were turned bright yellow! The hotel got the man to come back on his little scooter and he basically told my husband bad luck that is the fee. My husband was really angry. The hotel gave my husband 20tl to try to compensate us. The laundry cost more then the accommodation and they ruined two $60 shirts! Can I please suggest you find a new laundry service!

I had booked a two night stay at this hotel. I was supposed to arrive at the hotel at 11 p.m. on a Friday and had informed the hotel about this - however, at 10.30 p.m. I received a call that my booking has been canceled and I could not stay at this hotel anymore. I was then forced to move my plans around in the middle of the night to switch to another hotel they told me I had to stay at instead (located further away from the harbor). Upon arrival at that other hotel, no one from High Life was there and they were not reachable by phone - the reception at that new hotel had no idea I was coming. It took hours to even get a room at the second hotel. I was then told to pay for the extra transfer between the hotels myself. The next day, I took a taxi to High Life to stay there for the second night (as I was told that I had to move again and could not stay at the other hotel). Upon arrival, the person working at the bar there told me that I could not deposit my luggage there upon check-in and continued calling me names like "darling" in a completely disrespectful manner (mind you, I am a woman in her early twenties who is very careful about the possibility of being sexually assaulted by men like that) and using a derogatory way of speaking to me. I had never experienced this type of behaviour before. After I got louder, telling him that I refuse to be treated like this and telling him several times that his behaviour will have consequences, he continued calling me names, smirking as he was well aware it made me angry. He then grabbed me by the arm, bruised my arm (I had bruises for several weeks afterwords) and shoved me out of the door and told me that he would not like to see me again at his hotel. I then told him that I would call the police for the physical and sexual assault and then left. I was then informed shortly after by the (female!) manager of the hotel that she believed I had done something wrong (the nerve of some people...) and that she had now cancelled my second night because I was disrupting the other hotel guests by screaming out of pain when he bruised my arm. After some discussion (me saying that I would only return if he was not there and that it had not been my intention to disturb guests, but to stop the disrespect, sexual and physical assault, and the fact that my alternative would have been sleeping on the street as every other hotel was booked out), she un-cancelled my booking. When I later went back to the hotel, I was given a hotel room that was incredibly dirty. It was located on the top floor and extremely warm and humid with an ill-functioning a/c. There was mold all over the bathroom, the living room area and bedroom had stains over pillows and blankets. The door was not working properly. The hotel room looked like it had not been renovated for decades. On the next day, the guy from the bar who had assaulted me did my check-out (despite me saying I did not want to see the assaulter again!). He did no

Hi all, We have just returned from Marmaris. We have been to Marmaris about 20 times, and this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. 5 minute walk to Blue Port. 10 seconds walk to the clean sandy beach. For the price we paid, I was amazed. Free good strong Wi-Fi. And even good free cold air-conditioning This was a group of 8 of us, 3 families. This was 6 adults, and 2 young children. From the moment we arrived at the reception desk, we were greeted with welcoming smiles, and genuine warm feelings. Especially they were welcoming the children, as Marmaris Turkey is well know for being "Child Friendly" We were all checked in to our rooms with no fuss at all. We had room 506, which was a lovely sea view room. The room was immaculate, nothing out of place, so tidy and clean. There is a well stocked fridge, with lots of spare space for us to put our own water, and fruit, etc. The bathroom had a good powerful shower, something I always judge any hotel on, this was no exception, loads of hot water, any time of the day or night, no worries there. Our room was quiet, and every night we got a good nights sleep, as we did trips every single day. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, one can have breakfast inside, or outside, or under a sun umbrella. This is a sea-front hotel, with just the pedestrianises walkway between the hotel and the sandy beach. The hotel have their own part of private beach, with sun loungers, and great drinks service included. As we return to Marmaris almost 2 times every year, I am feeling very happy to go to this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay at Yunus Hotel.

Hotels Near Euro Sky Restorant In Marmaris Review

Stayed with my husband and 12 year old son for a week. First timers to Turkey so had no idea what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was immaculate. Couldn't fault the cleanliness. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. On our first day we went to the Buddha spa. Marco talked us into spending more than we had budgeted by my days it was worth every penny. Our sons first experience and he loved it. We were treated so well by all the staff and left feeling wonderful. The food: tasty always hot with loads of variety however I struggled for my son but to be honest hes picky at the best of times. Breakfast was lovely and the evening meal was nice with some fresh live cooking going on but I definitely preferred lunch. So much choice. The AI drinks were absolutely fine it was just a shame you had a certain element of guests who drank like it was going out of fashion. The pool area was lovely tho you do need to use common sense as it can be slippery and you need to be down before 8.30 to bag a decent sunbed but we always managed. The entertainment team: they were ok but we last holidayed in Tunisia and the animation team were outstanding so I think we were expecting a lot more interaction from them. They seemed to focus on longer staying guests or regulars rather than taking the time to speak to everyone. Don't think any of them spoke to us the whole time. The staff in the bars and restaurants were great but on an evening they seemed a bit keen to clear up. We were still eating on a couple of occasions and they came and removed condiments and napkins etc. One massive bonus was a free shuttle bus taking guests to Tiki beach each day. We used this twice and they were the best days we had. Stunning back and great food drink and sunbed waiter service. A must. I've reviewed this on another page. This is a very busy hotel and I do think the pool and sunbeds are a bit stretched to deal with the volume of guests. The area itself was fine. A few shops selling clothes food etc and some decent looking bars around about. We did taxi into the centre a few times on an evening when it was cooler. Yes you're hassled to buy but a polite no does the trick. We had to wait till early evening as the week we were there the temperatures were hitting the low 40s so it made walking around pretty exhausting. I also ventured out alone to Icmeler one day which was lovely. For a woman alone I had no hassle at all in the shops, the only time was a very rude man trying to sell knock off perfume at extortionate prices. When i refused he became quite aggressive in his tone so i just walked off. But i stopped at the Dolphin Cafe and enjoyed tea and free pasties and a lovely chat with the owner which put me very much at ease. Also as previously mentioned there was an noticeable element of guests who thought just because the drink was included they needed to drink to the point where they were almost incoherent. On a couple of occasions I wit

First visit to Turkey - didn't know what to expect from a hotel there, but would agree with it's official rating of a 3 stars //plus!)))// Immediate impression that Romance Beach has a capacity to be at least one level up should it be properly managed. It has everything for it - superb location within the city, own beach, nice pool, hard-working staffs, charming cosy atmosphere with nice stylisation and andalusian touch. Even the waterpark next to the hotel is a big advantage for families with kids. Everything you need is around - small Pinar Market opened 24/7 downstairs, pharmacy, exchange and local Migros Supermarket across the road, bus stop and a taxi point nearby. Now about no-noes.... No food... the menu is a survival type... this is my 1st experience with all-inclusive when you have nothing to choose from, especially for breakfast. Usually I rely on bakery and pastry items wherever I am going, but there was literally one baguette laying down throughout whole day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, fresh and tasty though))) Grill station for dinner and snack station with simple but edible nuggets and burger patties throughout a day helped to get through. Many regards to a local lady preparing fresh Gözleme near the pool - that was the only opportunity to taste Turkish cuisine inside the hotel. 2nd surprise with the WiFi access that's nowadays is a must - it is chargeable and bad working. Lifts... what can I say... it is not only outdated, really small and taking ages to get, but one of them kept hanging in between the floors so we immediately stopped using it and did a lot of exercises going by stairs to the 3rd floor. Beach is easily accessible and good however I have never seen lifeguard on duty. During day time it is quite busy with all water activities taking place in the sea. Rooms are simple with enough of space. Sea View room turned out to be with a stunning view from the balcony not from the window itself. Furniture has a simple but custom look. Standing shower with sufficient shelving is a plus point, but sanitary ware is outdated. There is small refrigerator but no kettle in the room. A/C system is very weak and dated, needs maintenance and better settlement. It's blowing directly on the bed making it freezing but still hot in the rest of the room. Lighting is bad, and outlets don't work and hardly accessible. No beach towels available. Every day room cleaning is going with fresh towels supply. Positives are helpful local staff, cosy atmosphere with live music performances in the bar at night, Marmaris Promenade. First junction with street restaurants including McDonald's, KFC, Doner and chinese and a small shopping centre just around 10 minutes walking distance towards downtown. Our vacation was short but great. Wish to return to the hotel when improvements will take place.

Have to admit this hotel and grounds were fantastic, and wife and I had trouble understanding why it didnt meet 5 stars. Let me go into the good first..... there are 2 hotels, and loads of apratment areas to its right side including luxury villas as well I believe. There are pools almost everywhere and a few of them are huge. There are restaurants and bars also everywhere- I think there are about 6 restaurants, though it may be more, and the bars I think there may be as much as 10 of them, the gardens are vast an there is a dedicated area which is massive for children including another pool, climbing area, tree overhead walkway, kids restaurant, and hotel games area. Also there is a decent size shop with most of what you would ever need in it, at the bottom of the grounds just before you cross the walkway onto the beach where there is a nother bar and snack area. leading onto the beach and the raised sunbeds overlooking the bay, (though word to say, the staff watch your every move and pretend to be doing things while they are watching the public dont pinch anything). The hotels breakfast restaurant is enormous with humongous amounts of food variety for guests (except for Bacon and other pig related products, there is a beef pr chicken substitute). There are tea and coffee (Turkish style) all around and free chilled water in the cabinets. If you have an all inclusive and I think you probably will, then you will need to very seriously watch what you eat and limit yourself - 3 meals a day and as much as you can eat, be careful. There are some restaurants which do have to be booked and you may have a 1 free ticket, and other you may have to pay. You can go to the beach after breakfast, have dinner at the restaurant leading from the beach, and back to the beach after. Drinks may be free as well, though some drinks (higher quality ones) may have to be paid for- wife and I are not big drinkers, so our would be a glass of wine or a glass of beer. Ok, now the not so good bits, our hotel room was in the far block, very nice but there were nasty stains on the carpet, 1 of the room fans didnt work which I reported twice and nothing was done, because we arrived at the hotel gone 2am I asked the desk for a breakfast wake up call for 9am..... that didnt happen - no one knew why, though a wake up call later in the week did go ahead. The balcony though very roomy, was smelling a bit from the outlet which needed a good clean. Rest of the room facilities were marvelous including a huge bathroom. In addition one evening while having dinner, we both left out table with food and drink on it, only to find out when we got back to the table, it had been cleaned and reclothed for the next morning breakfast- if we were the last in the retaurant, I could sort of see why, but there were still at least a 100 or more people easting and getting food. I know the hotel has to manage, but this was lack of attention by one particular member of staff. I did write a

quick service on arrival. Room view was awful but was given a pool view room next day which was lovely. Spacious shower and bedroom although all of room needed updated and given a deep clean. Food was delicious and plenty choice although often served warm instead of hot. Although all inclusive drinks options were minimum and I ended up drinking beer shandy for week rather than pay for cocktails and better quality drinks. Wine wasn’t that great. Tea/ coffee etc available all day. Pool was kept clean although smaller than you’d expect. Plenty sun beds but these were claimed with towels very early in the morning and sometimes not even used! Lost count of people coming back from somewhere later in the day and picking up towels without even lying on the bed!!!! Management need to remove towels from unused sun beds. Although a few flies at one end of pool no other bugs, thanks to the lovely, healthy cats moving around the hotel... I think. Although generally quiet the staff were pleasant and helpful. Although the manager was seen he didn’t interact with guests other than a good morning etc on passing. Good evening entertainment (didn’t last long) and bingo every night. Nice base. Out and about 15 minutes walk to beach. By paying for a drink you can sit / lounge on any beach and we both found this to be very relaxing. No hassle from shops other than them asking you to come and see what they are selling. Sellers were good humoured and excepted no. Go to dancing fountains 9-9:30 for an amazing show in the evening for free!

Stayed here for 3 nights- including over the weekend lockdown. The hotel was recommended by local friends. The stay was made extra smooth by two female members of reception staff who spoke excellent English and went out of their way to oblige. One was called Yonca, I’m afraid I don’t have the other lady’s name. The hotel is spick and span clean, and with good value rooms. The restaurant was excellent offering local fish which they bought specially for me, as well as the more usual Turkish meat dishes etc. Tiramisu was a good effort. Limited wine options but that isn’t unusual in Turkey nowadays. Standard slightly unexciting breakfast. Restaurant staff don’t speak much English but the two ladies above stepped in to help, as did the F&B manager. Overall recommended.

I have been to this hotel with my brother in law for 8 full days. The location is just great. 2 minutes from the beach and around 20-25 minutes walking from marina and bar street. Rooms are small and outdated but AC is excellent and shower is powerful. Beds and pillows are somehow hard and this issue should be considered by the management . However all issues were fixed with a smile. Staff are helpful although some guys are barely smiling. No music or entertainment at all in the hotel. However the pool is very nice and not crowded. Food is the biggest problem with only few choices! The hotel should be renovated and that will add a great value for it. WiFi works only in the lobby with a weak signal. Recommended for those you come to marmaris to spend their time mostly outside hotel.

I stay for 2 weeks.i did read the reviews and feel it had a mixture of good and bad. So hears mine. For what I paid I was happy with what we got. They clean the room every day. I'm pretty sure all rooms have a balcony. I was lucky and had a sea view. The drinks were defenatly watered down.but I'm not a drinker so didnt bother me. The food was ok.but after about 10 days I got bored. Its really cheap to eat out. The swimming pool was lovely. Loads of sunbeds. Only thing was no entertainment as of covid but the beach is only a short walk to all the lively bars and most of them will pick you up if you ask. There is a little shop at the hotel which sells lots, the ice creams are so cheap which is great if you have kids. Like 50p. The bus is 45p to go anywhere its great they come about every 15mins. There are bars and restaurants for all types of people close to the hotel.my son loved the batman bar as lots if dancing. Not to far from the marine.where you can book boat trip for about £12 (including lunch). I had a good stay with this hotel and would defenatly go back.

He did no

This was a last minute booking and it was a great holiday even under the circumstances of the global pandemic. We arrived at 11.30pm on the Saturday. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who took our temperature and had us fill out our forms (Covid and sign in). We went to our room which was an amazing room. Best weve had in Turkey as we've visited quiet a lot in the past. A very french/elegant type room as well as some food that was delivered to our room (chips and a baguette with ham) which was perfect from our long journey. The hotel was situated on the strip of Marmaris which plenty of bars and nightlife on offer and all were open. They had 2 pools which both were great and had plenty of sun loungers but this maybe due to the current situation. The front pool was on the front od the strip which included a bar and the 2nd pool which was quieter without music had a waterfall and a bar. This pool area also held lunch which was nice to have a few days (burgers, chips, pasta etc). The bars were nice but didn't have much options when it came to cocktails as they only has Sex on the Beach and Pina Colada. The beer was nice as well as the very generous mixers but again, only had Gin, Vodka and Brandy. Other hotels in the past had a larger selection on offer. The food was okay. Not much of a selection but again, due to current circumstances this could of been the reason to why as they had empty stalls for the buffet. There was a McDonald's near by as well as shops which you could visit but due to the in hotel shop, we rarely visited the super markets. The gym was well equipped and had good air con which was a godsend as it was very hot there during our stay. The activities guy also was polite and offered any help by giving us his WhatsApp and offered us some good activities to go on. We chose the Scuba diving and it was honestly one of the best things I had done while visiting Turkey and would 100% do it again. All in all I felt this deserved a 4 out of 5 due to the food being abit lack luster. Knowing Turkey, you expect this as a 5 star hotel isn't really a 5 star standard; but again, it was a fun and relaxing 7 day holiday.
