Boutique hotel located walking distance from Canal St Martin, Place de la République and Belleville. Staff are polite and helpful, check in and check out was an easy process. The room is a little small for a couple but being on my own, I was not fussed. Rooms are well furnished and I liked the fact their was a USB socket in the room so I could charge my phone without needing a two pin plug. Bed was comfortable and warm. There is a bright light that comes from the TV when on standby but this can be corrected by unplugging it. Desk in room is just a slither of plastic and would not be sufficient if you had to do any work or wanted to put a plate on it. The lobby area is decorated in a retro style and looks great. Complimentary coffee, water (flat and sparkling) and pastries are a fantastic touch. Rue Parmentier can get a bit noisy at night but that may have been due to an increase in traffic due to the metro strikes.

We stayed in the Residence the weekend that the Paris half marathon was cancelled. It rained a lot, but the Residence was a haven for us to rest up, dry off, and end each day with a good night's sleep. This was the quietest stay we have ever enjoyed in Paris. A warm, well designed room, with a modern cosy feel to it. We were on the 7th floor at the rear of the hotel, and we did not hear a thing at night. Slept very well. Fine views across the city. The Montparnassed tower and Notre Dame clearly visible. Excellent, attentive staff. Very competent, good English speakers, and always it seemed on duty. The breakfast room is bright, clean, spacious and modern, with a generous range of breakfast options. Try the croissants and the jams, delicious. The Residence now becomes our choice of accommodation in Paris from now on.

Located in the 10th district, close to the trendy Canal Saint Martin and the 17th century Hopital St Louis, this cosy apartment will accommodate up to 4 adults or a family of 5.It has been decorated with an eye for detail, featuring well chosen art work and contemporary furniture. On the third floor (no elevator), it comprises :Lobby.Bright living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and a single fold out sofa bed, a dining table and chairs.Open and fully equipped kitchen.Large and sunny bedroom.Modern bathroom with as much hot water as needed (not always the case in Paris!)Our apartment maintains its old features, including wooden floorboards, chimneys and high ceilings.Given the open living space and the large windows, the apartment is bright and full of sunlight, all year round.Being located in one of the bobo hotspots of the city, it is quiet at night, as the flat is overlooking a garden on one side and interior courtyard on the other side. The nearest Metro stations (Gare de l'Est, Jacques Bonsergent and Republique) are less than 10 minutes walk away.Almost every tourist site can be reached walking :It will take you about 30 minutes till the Louvre museum, 10/15 minutes to Le Marais, 25 minutes til the Opera Garnier...The keys will be handed to you directly at my apartment. No doubt our apartment will give you the ultimate Parisian experience!

After reading great reviews online about this hostel for backpackers/ solo travellers, I decided to opt for this instead of Les Piaules (2nd best rated), I got a great deal with free cancellation, 4 nights for £108. This price is outstanding compared to the extremely high costs in the city centre. Only bought a carnet of 10 tickets (€14.90) which lasted me the duration of the 4 days as you can generally walk most places. Check in for the hotel was a nightmare. As check in is around 3pm, everyone and I mean everyone was queuing to check in. The queue was out the door. This process took over 40 minutes which was ridiculous. I would recommend arriving later if possible. The rooms were nice, I stayed in a 4 bed. Plenty of room and everything was to a high standard. Loved the usb and lights in bed, loads of room and plenty of storage area. There is also lockable drawer under bed which is huge! But you need a padlock, which you can buy at reception (pricey). The restaurant in the hotel was expensive so I avoided, however they do have a lovely roof bar with a great view. Overall, not bad. Would recommend (especially because of the location (2min to subway).

The place is quite shabby and very noisy. This is not a Boutique Hotel as claimed, as boutique usually means small AND upper market. Rooms are very old and furniture in a very poor state (at least #10, one double bed + single). The desk was half in ruin, and the closet was an old gym metal closet repainted (also half destroyed). The place is not soundproof, you can hear everything. Walls and ceiling appear very thin. In addition, I don't know what is wrong with the plumbing, but you can hear everything that is going on upstairs (the pipes vibrate). I sleep like a log usually, but I had trouble there. Breakfast is very minimalist, that is the best I can say about it. Internet ... what I can I say, it reminded me of the times of modems with 24K speed. Some positive comments though. Staff is VERY nice. Well the hotel staff, because people at breakfast, forget about them as well ... rude like a Parisian waiter. The hotel is located near Place de la République, along the canal. Location is nice. If you want to run/jog, just turn to the right when you reach the canal, and you can go North up to La Vilette museum. After 2-3 km, you'll get to a place where you don't run next to cars, quite nice in fact. I paid 120€ with an early booking, including breakfast.

I got a good deal on this room through Priceline. Checked into my room and unpacked. After being in my room for a bit, the bathroom door handle broke and I couldn’t get it back open. I alerted the staff, and they came in the room to try and fix it. It took quite some time, and eventually I had to switch rooms to another floor. I had to re pack and relocate. They offered me an upgraded room at an additional cost of €30 euro a night. I asked if there was anything the hotel could offer for the inconvenience, and they said no. When checking out, there was a nearly €30 euro room charge which was for the coffee I drank each morning in the cafeteria, which I specifically was told I wouldn’t be charged for. When I asked the front desk guy about this charge, he said I should have been told about the charge, but the two previous desk people did not tell me about this. I felt very disappointed with all of this. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t go out of their way to resolve any of this for me. The rooms are very small. Though they are clean. I would not recommend this hotel due to my experience. The location was not close to anything good, and they definitely didn’t go out of their way to make my unpleasant experience better. I’m not typically the type to try and get something for nothing, and I was very friendly when trying to resolve the issues, but the staff was inconsistent and unwilling to do anything extra to make up for their miscommunications.

This hotel is wonderful in every way. A twin room was very spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels in the bathroom for two people. The soap and the shower gel was also replenished during our stay. The hotel is clean and in a brilliant location - near Gare de L’Est and Gare du Nord. It felt a safe area and it had nearby restaurants and bars. There was never any noise disturbance in the night. My favourite part about my stay was the friendly staff and the impeccable breakfast. Every day fresh croissants, bread, cereal, eggs, ham, cheese. It was delightful. I really appreciated this as part of the cost paid. Despite the strikes, a perfect location to walk into tourist places as well as to the BnF. I will be rebooking for my next trip to Paris! A wonderful hotel!

We stayed here a while ago and there was a really rude effeminate receptionist who seemed annoyed that he had to greet guests. The rooms were so ugly and uninspired. You would think they would put some effort into beautiful linens as it is one of the fashion capitals of the world. I saw better rooms in the Hampton Inn in the States, sadly. Our room had a mustard yellow blanket, ugly carpeting and was just generally an unpleasant experience. I would not stay at Ibis hotels again. This was my first experience with them and I was turned off. There was no tasteful decoration, it felt like a budget motel in the states-and this is Paris-embarrassing for them! So many cities come before Paris in beauty and design in Europe. Paris does not make the top 5 and it is because so many hotels like this one fail miserably in creating ambience. Istanbul and Venice are the most beautiful cities in Europe.

The location is perfect, it is a 1 minute walk to Gare de l'Est station and 10 minutes to Gare du Nord. The staff were okay, could improve on being friendlier. We were shocked by the fact that there was no lift to take us to the floor where our room was it. Really inconvenient as we had two heavy luggages and no help was offered to bring this up for us. The room was very small for a double room so the bathroom was extremely tight too. It is pretty modern though and quite pretty. Bed was extremely cosy and the room was clean. Not sure if I would book this hotel again but maybe in the area.

This was my fifth visit to this hotel and I must say that I was a little disappointed on this occasion. The hotel itself is looking a bit tardy and could do with some minor refurbishment. We had a mix up with the rooms when given a double room instead of the twin room that was requested when booking. Fortunately a couple in our party were happy to swap as there were no other rooms available. This converted to twin beds but we had to do it ourselves and share one lot of bed linen between us for one night and they then corrected it the next day. Whilst separating the beds I noticed a nasty large stain on the sheet which didn’t look very nice. The other annoying thing is at breakfast they convert the lounge to the dining area and so you have nowhere to sit if you do not want breakfast. However the reception staff are always polite and helpful. .

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
