|0.38km from city centerCheck in is a mild hassle. It's not the easiest to spot where it is (looks like a street house), and you need to pre book and be let in by a staff member, once you go through the usual pre-amble of checking in and being shown the room, I have 0 complaints. Room size was good, bed was excellent, and the bathroom was clean. Was quite happy with my stay, and can easily see myself staying there again next time. My stay was a 1 night thing, so I can't comment for holidays. But as a day trip, pretty much perfect for what I wanted.

|1.36km from city centerThis is the chain hotel with providing standard services and facilities. The room is clean, big and quiet. The bathroom is clean but a little bit old. The breakfast is impressive. All staffs are young, helpful and friendly. The location is good, 10-12 mins walk from Nottingham Station. The pricing is good. There is a bar at ground floor if you have sleeping problem.
Refreshing water bar has been setup at the reception is impressive.
The check-in is at 3pm daily, it would better if can be set earlier.

|10.43km from city centerWere relocated here after disastrous booking at Risley Hall. Turned up late, frazzled and extremely tired. Staff could not do enough - they upgraded our room, comped us breakfast that our bookers had missed off, and were genuinely helpful. After a good nights rest, breakfast was to die for - could have stayed forever - such choice and quality! Lunch and evening meals the same, quantity and quality and every staff member really friendly - we loved this place and would definitely book again. After settling bill, knowing we were returning to Scotland, they gave us bottled water (and choc) for the journey - how great is that - Thank you to all at this Hotel, you are amazing x

|10.63km from city centerStayed for 3 nights while visiting family for a wedding. There were other family members staying at the hotel. The staff never seemed to know what was happening and could never answer a question. One member had to look at the computer to tell me what time lunch was being served. They got the names wrong and kept saying another family member was in our room so much so they checked us out on the Sat & when we came in at midnight we couldn’t get into our room. On checking out they were trying to take full payment from someone’s card & it was being declined. Even when I explained again that I had paid in advance & gave them my paperwork they still couldn’t sort it. I just left the paperwork with them. They also messed up the food we ordered for lunch & although that member of staff was very helpful, we were told they had oat milk but couldn’t make a coffee with it?? Then we were told they didn’t have oat milk. She couldn’t work out how to use the screen on the till & when the order came it was wrong, The carpet was disgusting but the bed sheets were clean. Drunk students running up corridors one night & next day children running & screaming in the morning. Not somewhere I could stay again.

|1.99km from city centerMe and my partner booked to stay here for a night as there were no other hotels that were affordable last minute. The hotel stunk really bad and it looked like a crack house as soon as you walk in. I didn’t even expect a ‘nice’ hotel as it was cheaper than the rest however this hotel should not even be fit for business. The hotel room had blood/ some other stains all over the place. It looked like mould was in our room and there were cracks everywhere. The window wouldn’t even shut, the whole room was absolutely filthy and that is an understatement, it was completely unhygienic I thought I was going to catch a disease just from entering the room. Me and my partner knew instantly we would ask for a refund and needed to leave. I didn’t even want to sit on the bed. There were people loitering around taking drugs in and outside the premises. Hotel also houses homeless people btw which they don’t tell you. To make it worse, the woman on the front desk refused to refund me due to entering the room- I pointed out all the health hazards and fobbed me off saying the manager was going to ring me tomorrow. I had to chase them up with multiple calls before I even spoke to the manager. Still refused refund and told me I had to try get one via lastminute.com, who then told me that the hotel should refund me. Never did. To be honest I wasn’t even bothered about getting the money back I was just angry they’re actually still allowed open for business considering the actual horror state of this hotel. Better of sleeping on the streets. Reporting to trading standards.

|0.37km from city centerWe booked a twin room and was upgraded to a garden room which was a lovely surpise! Everyone in the hotel is very polite & helpful, amazing service! The room itself was very clean but average (reminded me of being in a marriott hotel in the room). We hardly got any sleep as we could hear people above us walking around / banging and doors slamming in the middle of the night and at 6.30am people were talking next door. The walls seem very thin (this is why I'm giving it a 4/5). Breakfast selection was limited espically for £17.

|0.7km from city centerWe had arranged a weekend with friends in Nottingham and had booked 2 rooms. First morning the housekeeping staff came as we were leaving, for the day out we had planned. When we returned we expected our room to have been serviced, no towels at all in the room and no made bed. Nothing on the tea/ coffee tray had been replenished. When we rang reception to get some towels no one answered so after a long day we had to go down to reception to get them to get us some towels, after waiting nearly 5 mins while the reception staff ignored us we were told someone would bring us some towels. Next morning our friends went down to breakfast early before us, to be told it wasn’t included in the room - it was, and rather than check the booking they were very rudely told that they couldn’t have breakfast. They were not even offered the option to pay for a breakfast. They ended up going elsewhere for breakfast much to our embarrassment after we had arranged the weekend and booked the room. After speaking with reception they confirmed that breakfast was included and gave us a card saying we were entitled to breakfast - much use that is as our friends had already gone and had breakfast elsewhere and we were not offered a refund on our booking.

|0.96km from city centerI stayed here in the ‘bobbin’ suite for a 2 night short break and I will definitely be returning! The room was excellently presented and Jeff the manager was on hand to take calls when needed. The Bobbin is situated at the top of the stairs meaning other guests have to walk past your door to leave from the main entrance which is directly infront of the door to the room. The other guests were coming and going well into the early hours (3-4am) and weren’t quiet which would be my only criticism but that is down to the courtesy of other guests and can’t be helped! I will 100% stay here again but I would perhaps choose a different suite… Thank you again and see u soon!

|1.09km from city centerRecently stayed here for the 1st time due to having a night away and it being close to amenities and next to the train station. We checked in and the staff were lovely and polite. Our room was lovely and clean with an en-suit and a good selection of drinks the pillow was a little hard but I'm not complaining as I still had a good nites sleep. We came down for breakfast and choose to pay additional cost for a full english which was cooked perfectly the staff were lovely attentive and polite. It does have a few stairs to climb to certain rooms so this could be a disadvantage to some but it didn't bother us we will definitely stay here again in the future.

|0.19km from city centerI visit this Premier Inn for one night almost every week. Most of the staff here are helpful during my check in, in the room allocation and for sorting out anything that’s not quite right. I have to especially mention Sylvia who is undoubtedly one of the best staff covering the reception desk that I have seen in hotels worldwide. She very quickly understands if you bring an issue to her and makes every effort to sort it out ASAP. When I’m checking in it is a pleasure to see her on the desk.

|3.41km from city centerThe hotel is located in the university grounds and is a lovely hotel. The booking in process was painless and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The room is nicely furnished and the bathroom a good size.Breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. It would be nice if they could offer hot chocolate as a breakfast item for those who don’t drink tea and coffee .The bar area was pleasant although the prices seem to be on the expensive side,a double gin and lemonade plus a zero alcohol beer at over £20.A nice play to stay and would stay again

|0.29km from city centerRooms nice and clean, really good soaps in bathroom. Bathroom was always perfect temperature, nice heated floor. Kitchen well equipped though we only stayed one night so didn't need it. Beds comfy, generous with duvet and pillows! Had small problem in one room (William...) but Tatiana came to the rescue, late at night, she was so helpful!! I work customer service so know how awful customers can be when they have a problem, but Tatiana was a saint, nothing was too much trouble, she made us feel well cared for, sorted us out quickly and made us laugh.

|1.94km from city centerSet in lovely grounds this imposing building is full of history but like some many hotels of this age needs a big face lift. The only modernised area I came across was the toilets just off reception. The Main bar area with leather bound (not certain if faux?) and chesterfields is a lovely place in which to sit and relax with a drink. Looking up there is a balcony which is walked along to reach the bedrooms thereby offered a different perspective when looking down. I booked a king room with breakfast and asked if could have a nice view, and was told there were only a couple of rooms with poor views anyway so I need not worry?! Well the room we had number 14 had four small windows looking out on to the rear of the hotel. And the view included a heavily wooded area of wheelie bins - so much for the view; in hindsight we should have asked for another room. The first morning the breakfast was a 'help yourself' and all of the food was just warm - not hot. The coffee poured from a jug was also only warm. However on the second morning my full english was cooked to order and very tasty, but again the coffee was only warm. This was remedied when I asked a waitress if she would change it. The room was spacious though and the bed comfy, shower adequate and tea and coffee facilities acceptable. Staff were helpful and generally cheerful. Lastly it is no longer run by Best Western. A very interesting place to stay if visiting Nottingham and not too far to drive in to the town.

|0.32km from city centerI have been staying here for 3 days a week since May 2023 and overall, I have to say that the accommodation is great, so my review is as follows. If you are driving get the Ringo Parking App on your phone as it makes the parking opposite much cheaper. It's less than 100 yards from the car park to the door. The Dwell has a system where you get a unique code to the front door and your room door (the codes are the same) so keep your code private. The hotel has a lift but it's been out of order all the time I have been there so it's stairs. You MUST ask for a ground floor room if you need one. I have had one every stay. When you get to your room the first thing you may notice is how clean it is, I have commented many times on the cleanliness. The hotel has a system where there is an iPad by the bed to run all the functions in the room the TV Air conditioning etc. At times I have struggled with the iPad but overall, it is good. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, Why they don't have instructions for the microwave I do not know, I have joked about it a few times. You cannot even see the make so you can get them yourself. I have used the microwave to warm up a meal more by luck than judgment The bathroom is great, very nice shower, and again very clean. So that is the Dwell, I am there next week I think its great accommodation with a couple of minor negatives but overall VERY GOOD

|7.99km from city centerThe best day of our lives! Choosing The Village Nottingham was the best thing we did. We attended a wedding fair there and fell in love with the whole place then! We needed a big space and that’s exactly what we had. The team were lovely and dealt with everything promptly and with no questions. Thank you to Hannah for dealing with any queries we had and for generally being so lovely right up until the day! Also to Kelsey and her team on the day for helping make our day so special. Food was just beautiful, our quests loved the soup! I only wish I could live the day again! Wedding blues are kicking in. X

|0.92km from city centerIt’s very convenient to live in Mercury Hotel to plan a tour in Nottingham. Regarding the excellent location, I can only take 1-minute walk to the tram station named Lace Market, it takes you to Beeston or remote retail outlets within couple of minutes. Also, I takes leisure walks within few minutes to city centre for shopping at M&S, Primark, Victor Centre, etc. Besides, you may never forget supports/advice from the enthusiastic and knowledgeable hotel teams.

|5.99km from city centerJust returned from 2 night stay at Delta Marriott belfry. Overall a poor experience and would not recommend. Starting with a few positives: Good location for access Rooms clean and well equipped Breakfast is good with wide selection Negatives are many: Hotel pool can only be used by kids from 10am to 6pm with zero flexibility if arrive after 6 and kids want a quick swim. Mixed messages from staff regarding swim times with no regard for customer service. Hotel Restaurant food is really poor quality and extremely expensive. Eg We waited 1h 15 min for our food which on arrival was cold and the steak overcooked and like leather!

|10.71km from city centerBooked with holiday extras, overnight accommodation with 2 weeks parking at East Midlands airport for £74.70 which is a great deal as it was more for just parking alone. The hotel just off M1 motorway and a short drive to the airport with plentiful free parking. Reception staff friendly as we booked in and went to our large en-suite room with comfy bed and free fast WiFi. A short drive away there is plenty of pubs and restaurants as the onsite opposite eatery is shut but the hotel are offering meals in a makeshift area.
