On a tour which included 5 other 4 or 5 star hotels, but this was the worst. It was hot out of doors, 30 - 34oC and no aircon. This is a 4 star hotel they say. Our room fridge and bathroom extractor fan failed to work. I reported this, blank expression, no action taken. In fairness the restaurant and bar staff were tip top. After our first night I asked for out tea/coffee tray to be replenished, to be told "You only get one cup on arrival !" This is my first experience of the complementary tray not being restored daily, even B&Bs do it, and this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, I should hate to stay in one of Achets lower grade hotels. We only stayed two nights, which I did not greatly enjoy. I get the impression this hotel is about to fold and the staff are fighting to keep it going.

This hotel is very good and convenient, good rooms, good food and good service. What I like most is the location: it’s at the countryside almost outside the city and very quite and in the middle of nature; at the same time 5 minutes from the Autobahn, a shopping center, 30 min to the Elbsandsteingebirge, the inner city, the Blue-Wonder-Bridge. We stay there every time we go to Dresden.

Good price, nice room, fine food. What's not to like? Well. We were a group of ten persons on our way to Denmark from Austria on motorcycles, mostly policemen. At arrival the receptionist, let us call him Basil, greeted us with a "Do you have a reservation?" - No welcome here - We confirmed. He denied this and when we pointed at his monitor on our names he switched the monitor off! - After a little while he found our reservation. Basil also did this for 3 others. Very rude. The wheather was nice and we placed us in a corner of the patio, where another company was celebrating something. Waiting to order a beer. Basil came and told we could not sit there. We had to go inside! I looked around and saw there was a small empty patio across the yard, which looked very little used. I asked if we could sit there. "No" was the answer from Basil. I asked why not and he answered that it was only for regular residents! We told other (nice) members of the staff, that we would like to order food. We could only order at Basil. It took 45 minutes after our request that Basil showed up. I recall the same level of service back in 1980 in East Germany, sadly something has not changed. An important part of a stay is the experience, which indeed was ruined by one person.

You must be carefull when came with car because the street are on the slope . Five places for parking near villa and a big places 30 m downstreet but no light in the night and no surveillance, 4 euro per day. The room are large and clean, but old furniture. Interesting view around with old abandoned houses. The bathroom are nice and it has window. The breakfast is serve by owner and is ok. We stayed for four nights at the Hotel Andreas on a recent trip to Germany for the Christmas markets. Our room was spacious (by European standards) and very quiet, despite the fact that we were on the street side. Tram stops right outside the door, so one can access anywhere in the area from their doorstep. Staff was extremely accommodating and the hotel restaurant is also very good. A bit stingy with linens and towels--but, isn't that more environmentally responsible?

Located in a small town around the city, the scenery is good, parking is convenient, and there is a 75-way car directly at the door to the city center. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were not bad. If you have any questions, the front desk will be very enthusiastic. You can also buy various bus tickets directly at the front desk. Big brand, good service, suitable for self-driving to live in Dresden.

The hotel is located in a nice and quite suburb area of Dresden. The rooms are not so big but clean and good. The bus connection to the city centre is good and the internal restaurant serves a variation of good meals. Every day they have another special offer for a fair price. The breakfast for ~10 € I can recommend also. For my next visit in Dresden I'll come back there.

A very beautiful property with a staff that was off the charts for caring for my family. At check in they changed my accommodations to better enhance our experience during our stay. Big huge shoutout to Teddy! My mother fell in the bathroom and his help was mind boggling. Not only did he take charge of calling the ambulance, but was there for us every step of the way. I was told that the bill had to be paid in cash and the hospital would not take a credit card for payment. This was on a Sunday night with nothing open. He offered to lend us the money to pay the bill on behalf of the hotel. Wow, who does that? Thank you Teddy for all of your help and making a huge tragedy manageable by minimizing the stress of the moment.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is very well located, close to everything touristy but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The property seems fairly new or at least recently renovated. I quite enjoyed the design of the hotel and the room. The reception people were friendly. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything we needed (kettle, iron, safe, good air conditioner, good wifi etc). There were 2 shower heads in the shower with various modes and the water pressure was excellent. Nice amenities as well. They were following all of the corona rules, so that made us feel safe. Also, we were able to park our car right in front of the hotel for just 3€/day. Unfortunately, right now there’s a lot of construction around the hotel area, so in the mornings sometimes it was a bit loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault and will go away eventually. We didn’t take the breakfast option, so I can’t comment on that but right next door to the hotel, there’s a bakery/cafe that has excellent breakfast options for very reasonable prices. We went there every day, highly recommend. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Great location, within walking distance of every point of interest in the historic city center area. About a 20-25 minute walk from the main train station (we walked it, very straight forward, you walk in one main line through a shopping area, and that leads almost directly to the hotel's front doors). We stayed in an apartment, with a separate bedroom, a very large living room with a pull out sleeper sofa, and a kitchen. The bathroom was large, good water pressure. Note: just be sure you keep an eye on the shower doors, I thought they were properly closed but I ended up mopping the floor after my shower. Oops. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. Everything you could need in the kitchen, was there. Oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, variety of kitchen items for cooking. There is a very cute roof deck as well, looks great for a nice glass of wine and to take in the sunset (sadly we were there when it was raining and cold). Overall the hotel was very quiet, the windows are a type of storm window that shut out the noise very well. We were there on a weekend, so no construction going on, but beware that as of May 2019, there is construction on an opposite corner so that seemed like it might be pretty loud on week days. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, very accommodating, super friendly. Just all around sweet and kind people who were also very professional. Close by are places to get coffee, pastries, several restaurants are a five to ten minute casual stroll away. Taxi stands are a short walk as well, although the hotel staff will order a cab for you as needed. I genuinely loved this hotel, and plan on staying here again, whenever it is I can return to Dresden. Dresden is a very special city, with a very unique history, and is worth visiting.

I booked the suite, the room area is a big word, it is estimated to be 50 square meters, the room facilities are relatively simple, there is no luxury that the hotel should have, the theory is more like an apartment, the suite is a big bed, one can be opened Sofa, air conditioning can not open only four windows, downstairs is noisy, hotel breakfast is simple variety of varieties, Germans eat mainly frozen, passengers who love to eat hot things are estimated to try to adapt, this home The advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the scenic spot. It takes about five minutes to walk. Parking is not convenient. Because the hotel is in a low pedestrian street, I don’t recommend it to the passengers who have accommodation requirements. The price is not high, but I don’t know why there is a 4.8 rating. The pictures on Ctrip are basically true, and can be referenced. The facilities in ordinary rooms cannot give real advice.

Elbflorenz provides all you need for a short stay. Modern, fairly close to city center, main roads, and even the Hauptbahnhof. Perfect if you go by train as you have local transport just two minutes away! (Wish that we only hade checked this before walking TO hotel from station!). The Elbe though is fifteen or so minutes distant on foot! The hotel itself t's a bit anonymous, but the price level is ok, room is large, clean and fully equipped. What really gives you value even for a brief overnight's stay is the gorgeous breakfast. The only real drawback is the ambience, the surroundings. Seems almost like a part of Dresden's World Trade Center! Busy staff at reception indeed very helpful. Also selling local transport tickets which is handy when having to catch fairly early train. We stayed for one night in this hotel and we must have done something right, because we had an amazing room. The room was huge, with a separate table (great for playing board games) and an amazing view over the Elbe, on a 270-degree balcony. Room was quiet, the only drawback was that the bed for the third person, a collapsable sofa, was a joke, since it kept collapsing. We could fix it by putting a suitcase under the sofa, so it stayed ok for our son, but if it had been a grown-up this might have cause a major challenge. Also we were not happy that the sauna and the parking was charged extra and you had to inform the staff one hour in advance if you want to use the sauna. We had selected this hotel especially for the sauna since we like to warm up after a day of sightseeing, but 10 € per person is in my opinion a quite steep price. Apart from that this is a great hotel. Location is fantastic, good public transport to Dresden (tram going every 15 minutes during the day). Breakfast was good.
