We loved the hotel's location. We were only going to be in Fairbanks for two nights (one of which was spent chasing the aurora), so we needed somewhere central. The Springhill Suites was walking distance to two excellent restaurants: The Crepery and Big Daddy's BBQ. For souvenir shopping, it was right across the road from Arctic Traveller's Gift Shop. And for last-minute winter/outdoor clothing, Big Ray's was just a few steps away. Despite being given a room on the second floor, it was quiet and we could not hear any street noise. The room was large with a very comfortable sofa in a separate sitting area. The decor was rather dated, but we had all we needed, like a microwave oven and coffee maker. We travelled during winter, and the room was always warm, but it would have been good to have somewhere to hang our heavy winter jackets. Service at the front desk was hit and miss; there were some who were friendly and helpful, others who seemed to be inconvenienced by our queries or requests. I'd like to give special thanks to Bernie, our shuttle driver. Our luggage was delayed and we had to make an extra trip to the airport to collect it. Bernie not only sent us to the airport, he waited for us while we retrieved the bag, all done with good cheer and reassurances that things will be ok. He has certainly set the bar very high for service.

Hotel location is good, in the urban area (the city is actually very small) walking to the surrounding restaurants will also be 10-15 minutes. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport (10 knives if you go to rent a car, free if you go to the airport after check-out) and the train station. The hotel is very quiet. The room is also big! The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is not very new, the breakfast is very simple, the same every day.

Poor management specially the manager. The room was untidy and was stinking. The toilet was dirty as well. When complaint about that to manager, surprisingly the manager argued back. It was totally waste of money. I will never visit this hotel again. I won't recommend anyone to stay here.

This is super super, don’t look at it. The pictures are rarely seen and it’s not good, but when I went there and opened the door, I was stunned. It is a very large suite with very American decoration, not new but Definitely clean and tidy enough. The entire resort is also very large, with a small forest behind it. When I first booked, I was frustrated by the photos on the Internet, so I booked for two nights, and stayed at another hotel for one night on the third day. I immediately decided to stay here for the last night. Comfortable!

It's fairbank's not bad, there is a socket in the parking lot, not afraid of the next day. Very clean and very friendly, will tell you in advance when the aurora is. But breakfast has eggs, all kinds of eggs. But there is no other facilities, one said one, the heating is really fierce, the shoes wet to roast for 2 hours on dry.

Location: There is an open area outside the window, taking into account privacy and vision. The tree on the left side of the place where I live is a little reflective, but it has not affected much. The riverside environment of the hotel is beautiful and you can walk, but the hotel's own design cabin is the feeling of the motel. Next to the hotel-run caravan camp, you can see all types of RVs. The hotel's restaurant is by the river, we have dinner there, and the scenery is good. The mixed-blood waiters we met were more simple and suggest that we should order food reasonably and not waste. There was a family with a few children paddling on the beach and eating, feeling very happy. The front desk clerk has a general attitude and the room is arranged closest to the car entrance. Said to be a garden house, do not expect, but it is a mess of plants around a circle plus a few plastic tables and chairs. The bath and bed in the room are good, but the furniture is especially simple. Breakfast is in the lobby, $15 a person is not recommended. The hotel sent the airport service is good, told the front desk and immediately drove over.

The hotel is great. The facilities are new, clean and quiet. The room has a coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, toaster, dishwasher, kitchenware, plates, cutlery, etc. There is a self-service washing machine and dryer on the first floor, and coffee, hot water and ice cubes are provided in the lobby. Within 800 meters of the hotel there are Wal-Mart Supermarket, FredMeyer Supermarket, McDonald's, Subway, Starbucks, Cold Stone Ice Cream Shop and other restaurants. The staff is very welcoming and the front desk can make reservations to the Shuttle Bus next to the Holiday Inn (the meeting point for most tours). The only thing I didn't feel used to was the room on the 4th floor where we lived. There were no curtains, only a layer of curtain.

This hotel is very near Fairbanks airport. After dropping off our rental car we were facing a 12 hour wait for a 1:30 am flight and we decided to book a room here. We were able to check in early. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We were able to get several hours of sleep before taking their convenient shuttle to the airport. This is walking distance to a couple of places to get a snack if you're hungry and also very near The Great Alaskan Bowl Company for last minute souvenirs and gifts. During our stay we met several of the staff and the owners and everyone was very friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.
