Bed and breakfast kind of accomodation. Room & Bathroom was clean. I choose this place because its super conveniently to walk around the jonker street at night (saturday night) and also the attractions are nearby too.. lots of place to eat, to lounge by and to shop. however, the breakfast place and menu was not to our expectation. It is self-service & first come first serve, no refills. so if you were late.. you will run out of the fried beehon, and nasi lemak, and bread. The same goes to utensils. You have to find and wash used plate, used fork & spoon as there are no person in charge in the kitchen. and at the same day, the hotel are experiencing low water pressure.. luckily we have our bath earlier but not with my bro and daughter who were having their bath and suddenly there is no water 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Everyone is complaining. value for money - quite expensive but maybe its because it is in the centre of the town. so you dont have to fork out extra money for transportation.

We were over at Melaka to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We told the hotel about our anniversary, they took the effort to decorate the room for us with rose petals on the bed :D! What a lovely touch by the hotel. Our room is clean, cozy and nicely design. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is located right in the heart of Melaka old town so this makes walking around the historical town a breeze!

I like everything about the hotel; the location, the hotel interior and the staffs; GM Mr Izhar - thank you for the chit chat time with us, we enjoyed talking to you and happy to know that you manage the hotel really well and will always try to maintain its highest standard. Hafiz from the restaurant - thank you for the service and taking our photos, Wan the security - for waiting at the car park in front of the hotel and provides us with huge umbrella to protect us from the rain Jenny the reception staff who stayed four hours beyond the end of her duty time, waiting for us to arrive at the hotel and to the rest of the staffs - sorry I cant remember the rest of the names. Parameswara is the most expensive room but it was worth paying for it. What I like most is the whole interior of the place (the common space and the room). But service is commendable as well. Breakfast was good but hope next time the hotel can provide some fruits for guests. That day I forgot to ask for it. I like their pineapple tarts served as snacks and after tasting it I ordered three packs to bring home :) Parameswara room is tastefully decorated, the beds are super comfortable and the plants at the garden deck are well taken care of - all looked green and happy. I was satisfied with cleanliness of the room. We (my husband and I) reached the hotel quite late at night due to long travelling time from KL. It was raining very heavily, traffic was busy and we had to stop for dinner as well. We lost our direction to find the hotel but after using Google map we found the location. Feeling exhausted when we went to bed that night, but after a good night sleep at Parameswara we felt refreshed in the morning and was ready to explore Jonker Street. Will come again to Liu Men, in sha Allah.

I m so amazed by the service Jonker Boutique Hotel given to me. I m working in Singapore and 2 of my friends will be staying in the hotel on 6 March till 8 March 2020. We would like to give our friend a birthday surprise on 7 March 2020 on her actual birthday. We had ordered a cake. However, the cake shop not able to deliver it to the hotel. I called and check with the hotel is there anyways to help us to pick the cake up and make it a little surprise for us as we are in Singapore. Jonker Boutique Hotel staffs were so great and actually help us on this special request. I m so appreciate and happy. Good job Jonker Boutique Hotel. I will definitely go back for the stay again.

Stayed here for a 2D 1N weekend getaway to Melaka and thought that the hotel was pretty decent. Location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is located near to most of the tourist attractions here in Melaka such as Jonker Street, Stadthuys, St. Paul's Hill & Church (Bukit St. Paul), etc. The price was also pretty reasonable as well. The only down side to this hotel would be the breakfast. The selection of food is quite limited and doesn't offer much at all. But other than that, nothing much to complaint about.

A renovated century-old Nyonya building near the riverside of Malacca is quaint and has a retro taste. The rooms are spacious and neat, quiet and elegant, well equipped, and there is a small swimming pool. The staff is kind and friendly. Near Jonker Street, you can stroll along the Malacca River. Very good accommodation experience, will repurchase again. Really recommend!

horrible experience. had to check out after only 2 nights instead of 3. asked to clean the toilet when we arrived because its moldy with lots of black spots on the WC, nothing is done until our 3rd day and i had to go & buy toilet cleaner and dettol & clean it myself! the mattress reeks of cigarettes & smelly. even the ash from the previous guest is visible. I'm not sure if they change their linen because i can see some lines & spots. oh my god, truly horrible! security is another issue. we were stopped by the kampung kids nearby and were asked for money for cigarettes & drinks right infront of our room!! what an experience! we had to immediately check out and forfeit the last night. urghh. oh, have you seen the tv? can you imagine having an iPad hanging on the wall for the room i stayed? its a big room with tiny tv & faulty remote control, full with dust & funny smell. the walls is moldy with little mushrooms beside the dressing table! i can go on & on. anyway the reception guy is ok but the old lady makcik was rude! i will never come here again & will not recommend to anyone!

Very clean hotel and got it at super cheap rate at Trip.com. Room was small but enough for single pax and bathroom was clean. Car parking was provided but limited to around 8-10 lots. Can park at public car park lots which is near to hotel. Location wise u need to use a car to go to Jonker or Dataran Pahlawan. U can even bring your laundry to wash at the hotel's next door self coin operated laundry. However, lift was not working and has to walk stairs.

We decided to stay here for one night due to a super good promotional offer even though our house is just 10km away from the hotel. Upon checking into the room, we were greeted with a spacious area in front of 2 queen beds. The room also has a mini round table and a couple of chairs. The TV works fine but there are only sports news/channels. Not so many choices on other programs. The in-room tea/coffee making facilities are available. Drinking water bottles are provided too. The beds are comfortable enough and the bed linens are of good quality. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this room, and I'm sure my children would agree too.

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. After a few interactions with the resturant wai

This hotel is in the Chinese area, there are many snack bars nearby, and there is a shopping mall opposite. It is more than one kilometer from the Dutch Red House, and it is next to the Malacca River. There are stains on both the pillow and the pillow. If the owner can change a new bed sheet, I think the customer's evaluation will be better. Before I booked, I saw that there are stains on the review bed. I don't think I will win the prize.

I feel very comfortable staying in this hotel even our family stay for three days. the hotel is very clean, the mattress is soft all new to the point there is no smell, has wifi network is pretty smoothly, have warm water in the bathroom, a fairly large glass makes us able to set the style first before leaving, the owner of the hotel is also good and very friendly, and the location is also very very strategic. close to the mini market, the crown medical center, the megamall hero plateau, and the a'famosa tourist attractions, only by walking about five minutes also have arrived. the shortage of this hotel is that it does not have an elevator so the visitors find it difficult to lift or carry the goods to the second and third floors. but, overall i love this hotel

Great room, a lot of space and clean. Shower was really good! When we arrived there was a little wait at reception which would be my only negative, there were 4 people behind the desk but only one of them was serving the person in front of us (it seemed one may be being trained but the other two ladies didnt seem to be doing anything and didnt acknowledge us). Breakfast was fine. Location is good, close to places to eat, I would say around 30 min walk to Jonker street but we like to walk around rather than be in the centre. This is a funny hotel, there is a sign show that cannot smoking in room but that is full of smoking smell when I enter my room ,for 4 nights the smell still strong. They didn't change bed sheet at all as I found a bits of food (some vegetables with sauce) on the bedsheets that cover by the bed runner. I request to change to new room but they just allow to change bedsheets for, me. OK it's fine, the hot water in bathroom will auto turn to cold water after shower for 5 mins and have to wait for 10 mins for the hot water back. I have to take half an hour just for shower. The hair dryer was the same, it cannot be function after use just for 1 min!!!! The receptionist told me that it will auto turn off when it is too hot, halo? I stay a lot of hotel but I never get a hair dryer that will auto turn off after 1 min!!!! If 10mins still acceptable !!! Won't visit this hotel again, ady get my very unforgettable experience!

Cheked into this hotel for a quick 2D-1N stay on 14/01/2020. We had a great deal so the hotel was well worth is. The rooms are small but the view of the museum garden was great. I'll just break it down in pros and cons to make things easier Pros: Beautifully decorated, has a pool (with complimentary towels in the pool area) Free breakfast (although a simple one with some pastries, nasi lemak, coffee and tea and fruits) Lift (I don't have to drag a luggage of 4 pax up the stairs) Adequately facilitated room (Bottled water, TV, Aircon, Hot/Cold Shower, Dryer, Ironing board and an Iron, Reading lights, bathroom amneties) Strategically situated (Walking distance from Stadhuys and Jonker Walk even for a family of 4 yo, 6yo) Friendly staff (The purposely inflated the pool floats so that my kids can have a better time there, there was a huge doughnut and a swan in the pool) Cons: The room was a bit dusty (I know that because my kids were throwing their stuff animal toys on the blinds and all the dust fell down) Limited parking spaces (I went on a week day so I have no problem with this but this can be a real problem on holidays)

Very lazy and basically do not write hotel reviews. This is the first one. When I made the Melaka Raiders, I chose the first recommended hotel by the Malaysian cellular netizens. I really recommend this hotel. , Cost-effective, away from some of the main attractions of the Dutch Red House, strategic location. If you want to go to the sea mosque, you can make an appointment with the hotel in advance. I made a shuttle bus from Kuala Lumpur Airport to Malacca. I originally planned to depart at 10pm. I didn't buy a ticket. I only bought a ticket for departure at 11.40. I arrived at the station and picked up the bus in person at 1.30am. The boss is of Chinese descent and can communicate in Chinese. It is also very convenient to recommend local delicious restaurants to help design reasonable routes. If you are a free travel partner, it ’s not wrong to choose another home. It is super worry-free. The service is really a five-star service for the guests. Thank you, the boss and May.

Do call them 30mins prior to your arrival so that they will send a personal to wait wait for you at the car park. They will then host you into the apartment. The apartment is clean and spacious with clean bed sheets and towels. Wifi is strong. Floor is clean. and there is plenty of drinking water provided. However there are of cos some set back that resulting me not giving a full 5 stars. The toilets will do with some good upgrade. A simple gesture of some cakes or kuehs may make a more nicer home stay feel. A home stay away has to feel like a nice home stay with some special memories. A recent home stay left some nice fond memories as owners left some home baked cakes as they understand we may be hungry after a day of travelling . They also provided a simple loaf of bread with jam complete with a bottle of milk for a simple stay at home breakfast . These are little gestures that makes a home stay memorable. for check out, you will also have to call them and they will come help you check out and walked you to the car.

The hotel manager is Chinese and speaks Mandarin and Cantonese. Although Mandarin, Cantonese and English are mixed in one sentence, I have become accustomed to this way of communication in Macau. I am ok. The manager said that it is strange that Ctrip orders rarely, but agoda or other platforms. More often, it is estimated that Ctrip did not show that there are Chinese services? This hotel is good, just next door to the Red House, a few hundred meters away from Jonker Street, the hotel is just a river. The manager is very enthusiastic, and also helped to book the bus ticket from Malacca to the airport. FB also recommends delicious food. The hotel has been newly renovated for a few months and has a USB plug for charging. Okay, let’s also mention the shortcomings. It is estimated that the toilet was not done well when the dry and wet areas were separated and decorated. It is estimated that you have to accommodate when you take a bath. Overall, I like it very much. I will continue to book this place next time I come to Malacca.

The room was nice and staff were friendly. However, rooms have thin walls and can hear next door sounds very clearly. Was given a connecting room so we could hear everything our neighbours say. Requested for a change of room but told fully booked. Aircon was cold enough but airflow could not be adjusted (like no air coming out even with full blast). Did not sleep well. Also lacking the personal touch given by other 5 star hotels. Not a big deal, but peers do prepare little surprises when notified that it's the guest's birthday or a special event. Zilch, for Majestic. Overall, the rooms are nice (although not enough soundproofing), good location and friendly staff. But for the price paid, could have been better.

- Comfortable accommodation and modern design. - The hot shower is not working properly. - The room pictures featured on Agoda have a hand towel but my room is not available. - Pillow case and bed sheet stain. I'm not sure if housekeeping first checks the room before make the bed. Got yellow stain on the bedsheet and black stain on the pillow case. - Staff Reception (Male guys) is not friendly. Other guest walking infront off reception he keep playing game with his phone. As a reception staff you should greet customers with a smile rather than a sour face. - At 10pm I called the reception to request iron.Staff(male guy) told iron can only be sent tomorrow morning (7am). If I want extra shower gel, I have to go downstairs to get it at the reception my self. At 7.30am I called the reception back to ask for iron, but the response was very disappointing. "Housekeeping isn't here yet". The information provided is very different for each staff. Is this your standard Hotel? The service provided is very poor. But, when breakfirst time, even food doesnt have so much choice, but the staff in the breakfirst counter make my day, really friendly and always smile.
