So far I would rate this hotel a 5. From the manager to those in housekeeping, the word comes to mind, excellent. I have to single out Sheriena and Mr. Bob, who in my opinion, are the type of personnel you want on a hotel staff. These individuals have an exceptional way of dealing with all types of personalities. They both are pleasant, respectful, very helpful, and shows real concern for the customers' comfort. I really am enjoying my stay here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in extended living. S. Duncan

I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and kids. I was shocked I never knew about this hotel. The breakfast was great constantly being stocked a young man even got me a bagel while cleaning to close the breakfast down. The desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. Although it was a lot of little kids making noise the security was sent up right away and I was able to get a good sleep! I do wish the pool was heated that would have been an added plus. Overall a great experience I will definitely be back!

Ok, now I am doing something I seldom do - pen the review while still in the actual room. This is a rather newer property that is being WELL maintained. The exterior grounds are manicured well, plenty of exterior and working lights, ample parking, (there were 2 buses) during my stay. I saw at least 3 luggage push racks, and a welcome beverage (tea/coffee) station upon check-in. The front desk was pleasant, swift, and welcoming. The elevator is fast. The hallways are adorned with a vibrant carpeting and lighting. Once inside the rooms we were met with a bright and trendy décor. I most enjoyed the tiered window treatment, circular mirror, and nightlight in the latrine - nice touch. The shower area was neat, clean, and hot - after a long day spent driving and shopping! Speaking of shopping - the hotel is located in the REAR of the WOODMORE TOWN CENTER, and the Wegmans grocery store. (If you have never been - it's a must see) The metro station and Redskins stadium are in very close proximity too, It was rather quiet property outside of the daytime cleaning crew - sanitizing rooms, vacuuming, etc. The gym is decent. One only downside is the seating space in the lobby / breakfast area isn't really that plentiful. Daily from 0600-1000 are the posted times for breakfast. There was a nice fruit selection (blueberries, apples, oranges, and bananas), cold & hot cereal, eggs (two varying ways), and some other items. The room has a frig & microwave. We felt safe here as we walked about the property at varying times of the day or night. Would book here again and again if in the area.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. We checked 8 PM and thrown off by the rude employee at the front desk. He gives us a disgusting room that smelled like smoke right when you walked in. We want to switch rooms. He did not apologize he just looked at us with a disgusted face and looked us up and down. He threw us the key cards on the counter. Horrible starting experience. He told us breakfast was is until 10:30 AM. I decided to have breakfast at 10am. Expecting a free breakfast which is included in my stay, I come down and there is nothing but coffee the breakfast was taken away. I asked why there’s no breakfast. They said breakfast is until 9:30 AM because it is a weekday and on weekends breakfast is till 10:30 AM. I said I was misinformed and I would still like breakfast. Glenn, a man working the front desk downstairs told me to go to IHOP or Denny’s. Now why would I want to spend my money somewhere else when I knew that breakfast was included in my stay, isn’t that a little bit ridiculous Glenn. I managed to get two fruits. I asked for cereal and he said “no ma’am that is not available.” I asked a lady in Spanish and she gave me the cereal, no problem. As I was about to ask for milk Glenn ran up to the room screaming in frustration yelling at me and the lady. He said “no ma’am I told you NO! that is not available, this area is closed!”. So I never got my milk and had a horrible experience with Glenn as he almost made me cry. It’s quite nasty here, housekeeping is very persistent as they want to kick you out at 10 AM and won’t stop until you leave. They kept opening the doors by themselves without knocking. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL BEWARE! The bed is ripped there are many stains and some ceilings are peeling.

I been going to this hotel for 2 yrs every month for a staycation to get away. This one time hotel guests arguing in hallway disturbing guests cops called. Cops came bck 2nd night banging on guest door wellness check. I stayed 2 nights no rest, noise & scared 1st night for my safety because of arguing in hallway. It's so ghetto there now! I'm told by Mgr or night supervisor I can get refund at checkout or at least half but Mgr Pricilla Harris refused she offered me points but no money back or free night. I always stayed on 2nd floor only once 1st floor. I would have stayed 1 night on 1st floor near entrance ONLY. I believe I'm owed all or half refund for 1 night my rest was disturb I was terrified entire night. It's straight Ghetto now. I got a room with the harbor view, it was so beautiful. I watched the sunset through my hotel window. And it’s a walking distance to the barbor and restaurants. Staff were hospitable and nice. The only thing is they don’t have free parking nor they cover the parking fees, unlike other hotels. This is first time experiencing having to pay for my own. I had to pay $24 for a day parking.

Checked in after 12:15AM was given a smoking room and the FD staff started arguing that it is a NON-SMOKING room and THEY are supposed to take the SMOKING sign out of the door of that room. So we got moved to room 151. The FD agent said that she will bring the keys waited for sometime but there were no signs of her so we went downstairs to get the key. Now in RM151, at 12:30AM we are struggling to open the door as the installation of the door lock was done so poorly. In the shower the shower-head will have limited water because the water will constantly run in the tub and you get free hip-hop music as the shower makes so much noise, told the FD but they speak very little English so was no help. We go to B-Fast and wanted some hard boiled eggs and while picking up found a hair as the eggs were not wrapped and anyone can touch it as there were no tongs. Told the staff and they brought the hard boiled eggs out, upon taking only one bite we threw up because the eggs were rotten, smelly. Didn't said anything and left and shortened our stay to 2 nights but never went to bfast. Now we were heading out and wanted to iron clothes turn the iron ON and did a test and saw huge black residue in one of the pillow cover, went to Front Desk and asked for another iron which he didn't have after 10 minutes a HK comes to the room and handed me another gross iron to which I said I will not use it and need a one which does't have the burnt residue, thank god she gave me one. Saw the GM's name outside but never saw him once seems like he doesn't care. Overall, this is not a very clean hotel, the staff doesn't speak English, rotten breakfast and broken shower with free hip-hop music. I wonder how this hotel is keeping the brand name as the place looks shabby and the run down.

This hotel, although, conveniently located, is on a very, very, very busy street. Very close to the University, and a lot of fun places to eat and hang out, but it comes at the cost of being in an ever so slightly “shady” area. Once inside the hotel, you forget about all of it, and the staff do an excellent job of making you feel welcome and this older property. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that it is conveniently located to the green line, but we were unprepared for all of the fees associated with parking and riding in to DC. We wish we would have reserved parking lot in town and just driven.

I stayed here several times when it was still part of the Quality Inn and one time when it was a Roadway. That time there was some suspect behavior with **********s so I left. I made the mistake of booking here because of a last minute family emergency but even for that I’d NEVER stay here. Once we finally got into room 108 there were burns EVERYWHERE. The blanket, sheets, wall paper, door, carpet, table, even the TOILET SEAT had burns in it. I don’t even know how you burn a toilet seat?! But it smelled of smoke even though it was listed as smoke free, had a hole in the wall, a large piece of furniture was missing (chair or couch) the bed had a big dip in it, stains everywhere, door lock was broken as If someone tried to kick the door in, heater was broken, and it was just an overall disaster. I literally checked in and checked right out within 15 minutes. I absolutely wouldn’t stay here. We think the room was used for drugs with the small little burns everywhere. Just horrible.

The hotel is across the street from the University of Maryland. There are supermarkets such as LIDL, CVS, Burger King and McDonald's nearby. Life is fairly convenient. The hotel has a parking lot, not small, and there is a gas station next to it, suitable for self-driving. The breakfast is decent, not rich, but there is everything that should be there. Front desk service is also quite enthusiastic. In addition to the price announced by Ctrip, there is also a County Tax of $6.55 per night

Met up with a friend and we ended up staying here as even a suite was cheaper than any place in Annapolis and it’s not that far away. Arrived and waited only a minute behind a guy asking questions and the clerk (one of two working) apologized multiple times for the wait. A sign posted at the front desk noted that they wouldn’t be doing stay-over housekeeping on Saturdays - meaning they’re one of a very few places I’ve seen still offering it, at least for six days out of the week. They definitely didn’t seem to have staffing challenges - every time I walked by the desk, including as a late as 10:00 p.m., I saw two people on duty. Some places have one person on duty for the whole establishment, meaning the front desk is often unattended. Not the case here. All of the staff I interacted with were courteous and professional. The room was clean and a typical Comfort Inn room. The suite had a separate bedroom and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Even though it was two weeks after Labor Day the outdoor pool was still available. There’s a bar and restaurant on side that’s open limited hours in the evenings. The bartender/waitress was awesome and even stuck around after the kitchen closed at the official closing time to keep serving drinks. The menu was limited to mainly appetizers and bar food but it was decent and very reasonably priced. They use the restaurant for the well-stocked hot breakfast buffet and I like that they used real plates and silverware as opposed to disposable items. This was definitely an above-average hotel breakfast and non-guests could eat for $9. My only complaint was that the waffle maker was not available. All in all, this is decent choice at a reasonable price.

I usually stay at Marriott or Hilton Hotel, but in trying to be at close proximity to family, I decided to stay at this hotel, the biggest mistake. On Wednesday, July 20, I was startled by a loud noise, drilling and pounding. I tried to contact the front office to speak to the manager, but the phone was busy. I heard the door handle shake, and then someone opened the door, despite the 'Do Not Disturb' sign that was placed outside the door. A worker came inside and said that he needed to change the lock. Appalled at how the worker invaded my privacy, I went to the front desk to speak to a manager, and met other guests there complaining about the same issues. At one point the manager was loud, boisterous, and argumentative . I complained to the manager that the worker intruded into my room, and that he should have informed the guest about upcoming maintenance. I was unaware that locks were scheduled to be replaced. At no time, even during reservation, or checked-in, was I informed about the maintenance schedule of the day. I attempted to explain to the manager, that I'm a military veteran who suffers with tinnitus, and I try to avoid high pitch piercing sounds. After listing all of my concerns to the manager, he literally said I don't care, and walked away. I was forced to stay outside of my hotel room, until maintenance of all the rooms on the first floor where I stayed were completed. WHAT A NIGHTMARE ...THAT'S NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR HOTEL GUESTS. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!!

Shower was a disaster. Mold all round and blowing out of air conditioner. Notice the insincere responses given to this review and others by the owner. The only way to help this hotel is for anyone who stays here to contact the home office of Comfort Inn. Tell the home office how bad this hotel is and that Comfort Inn's sales rep is doing a bad job by not getting this hotel in line with other Comfort Inn hotels. It's clear that the owners of this hotel as well as the regional manager of Comfort Inn hotels are letting the Comfort Inn's name be blemished and it is unfortunate. The best thing you can do for other customers and this hotel is to contact Comfort Inn's home office. That's what I am going to do.

In Motel mode, the room has a large bed and good bedding, but the air conditioner is too loud, and it will start and stop automatically. Breakfast is a typical American family fast food, milk fruit drink muffin omelette basically these, it is self-service. When I checked in, the front desk was an older lady, very friendly and polite. I got off the plane from Washington and drove all the way to get a foothold and felt very warm. There is a small courtyard where you can park for free. Totally nonresponsive to our booking needs. We clearly communicated our needs for a handicap room as well as a double room to accommodate 3 family members. Nothing was as ordered when we arrived an hour past check in time. The handicap room had a tub when we requested a walk in shower. There was absolutely no storage in the room or bathroom. There was no safe in the room. We were told that this was how all handicap rooms were. There was no soap in the room. It took two requests from housekeeping to get soap and the head of housekeeping totally contradicted the front desk and said she would get us a room to meet our needs. At 10:30 pm we had to repack all our luggage and move to another room. This room did have a walk-in shower, a small free standing set of drawers in the bathroom, no other storage and a safe that was unreachable and literally on top of what is euphemistically called a closet. All this for only $250 a night, 3 rooms for 3 nights. Not an insignificant amount of money. The only accommodation we received after asking was a free buffet breakfast which was comparable to a Holiday Inn Express, adequate but certainly not lavish. Also because one person made the reservation they would not award loyalty points to anyone else even though we all paid for our own rooms. It shouldn’t be that complicated to change this request.

Stayed for three nights during a conference. The ”cozy” room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Everything worked, but it was quite small -- cozy for one person, but crowded for two. It . Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant fare was ok but not memorable; the menu is limited, and it's the same for lunch and dinner. The most memorable thing about the hotel is the artwork in the hallways and galleries on the conference side. They were not just the same-old-same-old pieces ordered by the dozen by a corporate office, but rather one-of-kind, curated works from the U. Maryland holdings. It's worth taking some time to wander and view everything from 500+ year old Chinese scrolls to 1950's photography from the American South. It would be nice if, like a museum, the hotel had a guide to the art collection.

The hotel is very clean, the quality that a standard American chain hotel should have. There are small refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers in the rooms. Like other American hotels, they do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, combs, and slippers, but you can ask the front desk for some. The air-conditioning sound in the room is very soft. The free parking lot is huge. There is a cinema next to it, but it is not open due to the epidemic. There is also a local mall nearby, but it didn't go because of the epidemic. It is worth mentioning that the hotel provides free breakfast. The staple food is changed every day. The restaurant staff will make it for you on the spot. There are waffles with meat patties and egg yolks, as well as fruits that you can pick up and take back to your room. The overall feeling is very good.

On the outside it is not inspiring. There is construction going on and it's tucked in between like a car dealership and other non-hotel businesses. I was worried as I drove up. But inside, it's its own little world. It is EXTREMELY clean. The breakfast was actually satisfying and the staff were friendly. The room was great. The only thing I would like to see is, as they replace their mini-fridges, that they use ones that have a separate freezer compartment. We had some frozen things we wanted to stay frozen, and the back wall of the mini-fridge was not up to the task. We slept great and it was conveniently located for where we needed to be. My driver's license tecnically expifed in Augusg, but because of COVID, is valid until 30 days after the state of emergency is lifted; I have an official MVA letter to that effect. Desk clerk said she would ”accept it this time, but next time . . .” and argued with me about whether the state of emergency has been lifted, since MVA opened by appointment only in June. She refused to look at the letter. The emergency order has not, in fact, been lifted. Furthermore, just because she was able to renew her license does not mean that I can. I thanked her but said I would still report the business to the Governor's office; whereupon she immddiately canceled my reservation, leaving me without a place for the night and forcing me to cancel two business meetings at the last minute. I still have not heard from Red Roof's management. This is my second experience with this facility. The first time they checked me(with my same license) into a room that hadn't even been cleaned. Not art all recommended.
