Christmas decorations were beautiful. We stayed in the main part of the building we were surprised because the superior room we booked was beautiful and we just paid like £40. Cannot get a better deal than this will be staying in. Main building door was shut so we had to go through a maze to get to the back and exit at 6.00AM in the morning. The guy that checked us in was friendly and even took us to our room

Excellent accommodation. Beautiful room with enormous bathroom with walk in shower AND full size bath with shower attachment. Spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever had. The staff could not do enough for you. I would Definately recommend staying at The Belmore The only fault was that I wasn't staying longer than 1 night. I will Definately stay here again next time I am in the area.

Did the job for overnight work trip. Dated and old fashioned downstairs/ elevator/ reception area. Room quite spacious and clean. Shower over bath was okay, wasn’t great. Man at reception asked to take payment even though I’d already paid, didn’t really seem interested or care to be honest. It did what I needed it to do, which was somewhere to lay my head for a work trip. The man behind the bar however, was much happier. I asked for some ice for the room and he was more than happy to help.

The location is good and the price is ok. The environment is also pretty good in all aspects. There is parking lot. Next time you come to this city, you can consider staying in this city, it's a good experience

With friends visiting from Devon we have enjoyed evening meals. The staff at the Lodge are always friendly, helpful and courteous. The food excellent! On the family occasion, chef was requested to provide a West Indian menu. He did so with absolute accuracy! Everyone was delighted! We will certainly return to Eskdale Lodge in the future, the nice atmosphere and excellent menu and food being a big draw.

This hotel is not far from the airport, the front desk service is great, the room has a bathtub, and there are pedestrian streets and restaurants around. The nearest restaurant, this very good 5 pounds and drinks, went to the Piccadilly train station for more than 20 taxis.

Having decided last minute to drive to Manchester for an early flight we stumbled across this place on hotels.com, usually reluctant to stay at hotels attached to pubs. As some one who is very particular when it comes to hotels we were very impressed, the attention to detail is fantastic, been given a fresh flask of milk for me is a massive plus! Get so sick of just standard UHT in rooms normally. The room itself was immaculate, comfy bed, excellent selection of tea and coffee etc. One minor point was we felt the radiator didn’t give out as much heat as we would like. Free parking is a massive plus when so many places charge extortionate prices for overnight hotel parking. Pub next door was great for a quick drink before bed and this is where you have breakfast in the morning. Breakfast had a good selection and was cooked to order, ingredients used seemed to be of good quality. My only criticism here was that the food could have been a lot hotter, especially as the restaurant was not busy as the time. Overall a fantastic place, very well thought out and would not hesitate to come again if needing to stay near the airport.

Reliable Premier Inn - good value, easy parking and great accessibility from M6, M56 etc. Close to Burton Road shops and bars, also close to tram link for central Manchester. Stayed here for Friday and Saturday nights while visiting son who is studying at Manchester University. On site dining available, but the hotel is only a fifteen minute stroll from the shops, bars and restaurants of Burton Road.

The check in information we got through Booking.com was incorrect so we got off to a bad start. (Make sure you make contact prior to arrival so there is someone to meet you at the property or you won't be able to get in). The mix up was more than made up for by having a lovely room which was very spacious with nice comfortable beds, getting my case fixed after my daughter realised the handle was broken, and friendly, quick responses to any queries or questions. Good speed internet and a comfortable kitchen which allowed us to cook a couple of our own meals. Good selection of cereals for the 'continental breakfast' and hot drinks available to make all day. Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter at the end of a long holiday. Nice place to relax.

Stay in a hotel with a great experience. Closer to the airport, the hotel offers a shuttle service. The rooms are comfortable and hygienic, and the service is attentive. The brother at the front desk was particularly enthusiastic. Italian restaurants are hot and need to be booked in advance. The western food in the hotel also tastes good.

I'm checking out today I'm still here and have huge bags under my eyes. First the negative, so I can end on the positive as theres only 1 real negative. The room is a little tired and old but its clean so not a problem really. What is a problem is that you can hear everything in the rooms around you, its not good. Last night at midnight a group of people came in, with children and woke me as they were loud entering to their rooms, they then proceeded for THREE and a half hours to laugh talk really loud banging on doors in and out of each others rooms 😩 oh my goodness it was so loud. I shouted out the door to shut up but this was ignored. No phone in room which is usual for PI so I called the hotel number and the receptionist was great (see below) he promised he would sort it out. Half hour later still noise banging etc. I had to call again, this time it stopped. I am absoloutely exhausted as then at 7:30am after 4 hours sleep I could hear other people moving chatting banging around in their rooms which awoke me and now I cant go back to sleep 😩 I have to drive back to London today and I will need a ton of coffee to keep me awake. The positives are the staff with a very special mention to Lisa. She was so helpful and so nice going out of her way for me. Due to the obvious restrictions there is no food open here, so I ordered food in. I received a text to say food should be with me soon, I went to open my door and Lisa was there, she brought my take away up to me. Along with allowing me a 1 hour extra on my checkout as I need to pick my daughter up from hospital. She was just so lovely and all of the staff I have found to be the same very helpful and friendly. Also as the hotel is directly under the flight path I didnt hear 1 go overhead in my room at all. Which is great, meaning the double glazing is doing its job, but they need to sound proof their rooms!
