It's the usual luxury hotel vibe. I like that the bathroom is spacious and complimentary lotion smells so good IMO. I also like the wide selection of food for buffet breakfast and the restaurant is huge enough to cater guests without them feeling too cramped while going around to get food. The pool is also huge, which means you can still actually swim even with a number of other guests is with you in it. The only downside was they don't have an elevator access from the UG parking lot, so your only option was the valet parking, which is sometimes inconvenient for me since it would entail waiting. But that's not so big of a problem, I still looooove this hotel!

Went to check out Z Bistro that is housed in the recently opened Zuri Hotel (Oct. 2019) to see if the food was as good as someone recommended. As with almost everything, one has to consider the source of information... The hotel is standard for the Philippines, and for mid-level hotels all around the world: mainstream mediocrity personified by fake smiles and limited product and services knowledge. Rooms start at 6200 pesos, and then go up, but the so-called artificial promo-rates for all rooms is about 40% less. They are new and still likely decent enough, but one must sleep in one first to see if the walls are insulated enough, if the aircon is quiet, if the bed is quality and showers work properly. Same as at the restaurant... Price for the beef shank was 630 pesos but ran out at 450 pesos. Their beef stew is 340 pesos but regular price sits at 255 pesos. How this kind of dumb manipulation is seen as okay is beyond me, but I guess someone ’high-up' thinks patrons won’t see the game being played on them. Requesting the senior’s rate was hopeless because they said the discount is less than the fake-discount rate. How does this encourage return business? It doesn’t! The waitress didn’t know much - but should have even first day on the job! - and so had to go to the kitchen 2x to find simple things out... Now I was already skeptical about the place. After understanding that it didn’t come with rice, I asked what did. When she told me that it comes with mashed potatoes, I ordered the latter. The picture showed a big full stock of leek with mushrooms, but came out with no free mashed potatoes, no leek, but a somewhat shrivelled bit of green onion and a few small pieces of what looked like ****ake mushroom, with the beef swimming in a starchy decent-tasting beef sauce. One large piece of the meat was unchewable: full of fat, gristle and very little meat, I left it. The waitress was afraid to come to my table again and so sent a male waiter. When there are no customers, the children hired to provide professional services play around laughing in the empty lobby. Z Bistro? What a joke, but nothing unusual there. Unless you like plain, boring and poorly-presented food, I do NOT recommend this place. If an entree doesn’t already come with some rice, potato or pasta, and perhaps some veggies as part of the meal, then forget it! We will never return!

Since travelling outside the province is a challenge amid this pandemic, staying in Park Inn is the best option to take a break from our family's daily routine. The hotel is just beside SM City Iloilo. The staff are generally accommodating and the management did prepare activities for its guests with utmost considerations of health protocols while waiting for the new year count down. My family - especially my senior citizen mom-in-law - enjoyed our stay. Thank you Park Inn staff especially to Ryan Tentia for arranging our comfortable stay!

This hotel was an absolute GEM!!! Didn't plan on staying for long but ended up spending a total of 12 nights here. In the beginning, didn't expect much from budget hotel but our stay was so great that we will surely stay here again the next time we are in Iloilo City. The rooms were clean and the toiletries and supplies were replenished daily. The mini bar was cheap too. The housekeeping staff was very flexible given that we had a baby who always needed a nap, so they adjusted accordingly. The breakfast was plated but if you like a good old Filipino breakfast, then you will enjoy it. The restaurant staff were very accommodating at all hours. What the hotel lacks in amenities, it makes up for its amazing staff and very friendly atmosphere. From housekeeping, to the restaurant, front desk, admin officers and even the manager, they have been beyond accommodating! We observed that even amongst themselves, the staff were very interactive and had great harmony. You could tell that they love their jobs and the people they work with/for. We have traveled to a lot of cities and countries before but this is by far the friendliest and most attentive hotel we've ever stayed at!! It even trumps a five star hotel service! Just a pity they had to transfer us to another hotel, of the same chain, due to the citywide community quarantine where they've had to shut down operations. The other hotel though is another story - a different review worth writing.

The hotel is not in the city centre yet it is accessible to public transportation so not really a biggie unless you want a busy environment. It is walking distance to Robinson's Jaro Mall so it is very likely that you can buy anything you need from there including "pasalubong" because there is a Biscocho Haus stall in that mall. You can even watch a movie if you have time to spare. Staff are friendly and accommodating. They let us hung out in the lobby when we were already checked out and they kept our luggage because we had a late evening flight. No elevator though, so this could be a problem for those who don't like using the stairs. Also, the free breakfast is actually from Jollibee with only 4 breakfast meals to choose from. There were towels, small soap, shampoos in sachet provided. Kind of weird though that no toilet paper was given. Not sure if it was an oversight but we were just too lazy to go down and ask for one. They don't have a phone in the room too. But it is clean.

I booked last minute at this hotel through Agoda at a very affordable price. The place us just afew mins walk to to La Paz public market, the home of famous batchoy (Ted's, Netong's and Deeco's) and Mudge Cafe. Just outside the hotel is the main street going to La Paz Church. There are convenince stores at both sides, 7-11 on the left and I-Mart on the right, both are open 24 hourse. So grabbing a late night much it drink is not a problem. Car park is infront and only have 3 slots maximum. Its wise to call ahead if you have a car. Checkin was a breeze 5 minutes tops. Small lobby and can be crowded at times, the receptionist has a very warm welcoming smile, makes you feel at home. I booked a 1 bedroom with double deck bunk beds. The rooms has its own toilet/shower, a vanity desk/mirror, closet and AC. The rooms was clean, fresh beddings, no smell and crisp clean towels. The toilet was clean, with hot water. The room was on the far end facing the back so it was quiet, no car/street noise. It was located at the 4th floor, there is no elevator. So if you have heavy luggage or older people or with mobility issues going up will be quite a task.I suggest calling the hotel to get the 2nd floor rooms. They have a complimentary plates breakfast and instant coffee. Nothing to get excited about. The cafe area is on the 2nd floor, it's cozy. They have books and magazines to read and even table games for the young ones. I think you can order food here if you want. Overall verdict, this is an awesome find in La Paz, public transport going to Iloilo is just right outside. It is clean with working ameneties. The only downsude is that they dont have elevator.

Front desk service: There is none outside the standard 8AM to 5PM office hours. You'll be lucky if somebody actually picks up the line. Having stayed here for quarantine purposes and not being allowed to step out of the room, this "no service" is a big no no. Non-front desk staff: The bell hop is pro active in bringing up ordered food. I gambled with ordering food from the outside as I couldn't order food from the hotel simply because there was nobody picking up the line. Luckily, the bell hop would bring up the food ordered from the outside. I would've starved if they didn't bring the food up. Room: Everything is old. The bed was not comfortable. The fridge had to be changed as it was not working. The cable tv line up was really bad as well. The floor was dusty. Room slippers? They're old and crumbly. The moment I slipped my feet in them, they ripped. I just laughed it off as I was just tired getting upset anymore. Breakfast: Better order food from the outside. I was told that the food in this place is good. Fake news. Will I consider going back to this place? If there is another quarantine hotel, I wouldn't stay in Hotel del Rio anymore.

This hotel was very interesting. It was introduced by a local friend. It was a very good hotel with a swimming pool. At that time, I didn't consider booking three nights directly. But the first night scared me. , Washstand, etc., I almost didn't sleep that night, communicated with the Ctrip staff until dawn, and strongly requested a refund for the next two nights, which was finally resolved. Of course, this may be an isolated phenomenon, but it is impossible for me to try the second time .

The location of the hotel is better. Those who like to walk can walk to SM for half an hour and a supermarket for ten minutes. We stayed in this hotel for one night during a business trip. It is ideally located in the city, near a mall for when you need to get something. The conference hall of the hotel near the entrance was where we had our meetings during our stay. The booking included consumables which is dependent on how many hours is the use of the space. We have been delighted because, the food was overflowing which was included in the package. There was a generous serving for each menu that we can't consume all . The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. he room accommodation was also very good. The double room accommodation can actually accommodate 6 persons with 2 extra beds at the sides. The room was spaceous, well-lighted and clean. The location is very accessible that one can just walk going to the mall and the esplanade for a leisurely walk and a river cruise.

The place is right in the city proper near Robinson's Iloilo. I booked it for 4days/3nights for ~1,100 per night. PROS: - new, not so big, chic and clean hotel - offers free breakfast from 6am to 10am - breakfast has choices of Filipino, American and Continental. - food is delicious and has standard 2 eggs and choice of either plain or garlic rice and with papaya sides - the bedsheet, towel and pillows are new, clean and comfy. - there's a Sky cable tv but you hardly get anything to watch since most channels are locked. - the aircon is cool and strong. - they uses Korean window blinds - secured place since its within establishments. - they make up my room everyday. changes the towels and make up the bedsheet. CONS: - no toilettries, free bottled water (standard for a hotel, buti pa motel) - free coffee does not offer refill. - no room amenities like hair blower or coffee maker or small ref (puedeng makatipid) - hotel is good for a stay. no amenities offerred.

We didnt actually stay here more than a few hours (6 i think in total) this was NOT because of the hotel , it was a complete stuff up by WOTIF.com who we booked thru , we had arranged a suite for 3 adults , and WOTIF did not send the booking thru to the hotel , so when we arrived there was total chaos , although i must say the ladies on the front desk went to a lot of trouble to assist and help us , even though they had no booking for us and the hotel was almost booked out , they went out of their way to shuffle things around for us and give us 2 rooms to use for our stay, once in our rooms which were quaint but very clean indeed , I contacted Wotif.com ( 30 min phone call to the US )in which case i was put on HOLD!! , i told them i was ringing from the Philippines and could they ring me back , and after some haggling and upset on my part they agreed to ring me back , their relocation team was so busy they want to put me on hold again , which i declined ,so WOTIF.com cancelled the booking at Chito's and advised that i can find another hotel !!. I went downstairs to advise the ladies on the desk of the outcome , and they were astounded and shocked ,but to cut a long story short , if you would like a mid range hotel in iloilo with a pool , give Chito's a go , i can personally recomend their staff as extremely helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to assist my wife and myself , Thank You Chito's . I can't believe they have a 4.5 stars rating! They don't deserve it! Let me tell you a story... I traveled with 11 others for our office team building. I googled their number online and had a hard time reaching them (no one seems to be answering the phone). Finally, we got through someone. Asked about making a reservation and said we would have to make a down payment of at least 50% (which is expected among resorts) but when I asked her through what bank, she didn't want to disclose it saying that it is for SURE customers only (as if my intention for calling is just for laughs). Anyway, that was the first, and I corrected her by saying that I only wanted the NAME of the bank to check if I can transfer the funds through my phone. Anyway, we started looking for other options after that phone incident but an office mate who recently came back from the same resort recommended it saying it is "budget-friendly". Because of the weather, we were hesitant to give a down payment thinking they might not return the cash if we can't travel from Bacolod to Iloilo and then Guimaras due to unforeseen weather circumstances.. so the team decided and opted to just "walk-in" (also, recommendation made by the same friend). We arrived late, checked in (it was past 8:30 PM) and rushed inside the restaurant feeling hungry and buzzing with excitement. Because the place was small, you can imagine the noise 12 people are making just by excitedly talking to each other. Since it was late, we assumed that there won't be any food left and got some lechon manok along the way. I think that this may be the reason for the staff's dirty looks aside from all the racket we're making. The next day, it was the same thing. We were ordering our eggs for breakfast and the lady blurted out "one at a time" in a very demeaning manner. This time, I just assumed that she wasn't just a morning person, LOL. We checked in to three different non-AC rooms, not so bad but didn't like the bathrooms. The toilets are rather small, no places to hang your clothes, towels, toiletries and the the likes. Also, there's no sink, had to use the one from outside and the water stinks, like it's from the sewer. But i'm used to "roughing it out" so it wasn't a big deal. What really bugged me the most is how rude their workers are (except for this guy named "Paul", you're a STAR! You should be promoted!). Because we were only there as "walk-in" guests, they didn't have any available rooms for our second night so we moved to the resort next door. Their restaurant offer a wide variety of food (good price range if you're in a budget ranging from P120-250), some of my office mates decided to go back and eat. They overheard one of the staff saying in the dialect "ari naman sila, abi ko naka check-out na ni sila" (translated as "Oh, they're still here. I thought they already checked out") and continued the dirty looks. I get that we are rowdy (expected as we are you

We stayed at their Valeria branch which is part of Downtown. It's situated near Robinson's Mall. Thought the location is strategic, it becomes quite scary if you plan on late night walks. There are PUJs that will take you to SM City. Our room has a broken toilet flush. Other than that, everything is working fine. No Hot and Cold shower. They have Cable TV, though. We had a few blackouts and unfortunately, they don't have a genrator on standby. Also, during our stay, they don't have any Wi-Fi Connection. Nonetheless, the stay was okay. It's perfetct if you just want a basic room to sleep.

I was given a room at the 2nd floor, with windows facing Rizal Street. Every morning, I wake up to the suffocating smell of smoke and noise from vehicles passing by. Water from the faucet and shower is very brown and smelly. They do have hot shower. On the first night, I was given Room 110. The aircon unit wasn't working properly. I placed my laptop beneath it (since the table was beneath the aircon unit), and the laptop got really wet from leaks of the aircon. Since the Dunkin Donuts store was complaining from the leaks coming from the toilets, I was transferred to Room 111.

Iloilo convention was busy at this time and nowhere to get a hotel within the city proper, even manduriao so I decide to stay in this casa in La Paz area, quite near to everything. The hotel is like a huge house transformed into a hotel with swimming pool and garden area. It was a hectic day and had to fly to iloilo and stay only for a night. The staff are really nice and accommodating. They will assist you in everything you need. The rooms are very big but quite old and needs to be cleaned well. The bathroom is big with a tub but very hard to step on coz it's too high and not suitable for old people. Its hard to jump down after taking a shower. The fridge is not working and the terrace also. The decors gives me allergy. I think it's the dust in the room and can't sleep well. The restaurant is big but needs to be improved especially the breakfast they offer. The wifi is working but not inside my room, only at the terrace. The rates are quite reasonable but make sure to inform the front desk for transpo services ahead of time coz it's not on the main road though there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff will help you get the taxi or book the van you need. Over all, if you have a big family, I guess this is great but not for a business traveler.

My stay there was as the sponsor of a full day Water World event for 60 people with several meal packages followed by overnight accomidations for the group in the hotel. Overall, my review of the hotel is that it is a substandard 1 star hotel. We were first placed in an "Executive Room" in a very old building behind the enterence to Water World (Room 229). This "Executive Room" had a matress on the ground as a rollaway bed, an air condition which looked like it was installed during the Presidency of Fernando Marcos and a bathroom which was smaller than most closets. The room was incredibly hot, musty and not great. We were then moved to a room around the corner, a room with a pink crown. I think they called that the "Princess Room". That was another poor room, even smaller with aging children's furniture. Ultimately, we were transferred to a back building which is a lot newer. It has modern A/C and beds. But there are many other shortcomings with this room and most of the other rooms in this "new building" (I was able to do a complete survey speaking with many members of my family in the new building). The problems are: - The TV service is horrible. They have Sky TV but that subscribe to next to no channels. No CNN, Fox Sports 1/2/3 and many other seemingly "standard channels". - No Internet. In the back building no Internet was available. - No hot water. There are beautiful hot water machines in the showers, but most do not work. Mine did not even have power. - Virtually no outlets. Other than the TV outlets, there is only 1 plug and 1 USB outlet. Totally substandard in today's day and age. - We had a brownout (no generator backup of course, they did have a generator for Water World which was incredibly loud but it did not power our building) - The general state of the grounds is horrific - looks like a construction warzone in the back. - Our beds were average, mattresses ok but only one sheet on the bed, no blanket, bed cover. Worst of all, however, was the management's response to any complaints. They do nothing to correct any problem, their strategy is to send over a young pretty girl to try and charm you with a smile and constantly saying "I'm sorry" or "I understand" into accepting the situation. This girl also tried to get us to list down the issues in the hotel for some reason even after I reviewed them politely with a manager. It's too bad this hotel does not get the fact that in today's modern world you should actually empower women to have management authority not just use them to try and charm people. All in all, this is a truly terrible hotel. No Internet, poor TV, no hot water, limited outlets, the grounds in the back are beyond description. Don't let anyone charm you into thinking it was even a 2 star hotel. It is not, it lacks every essential service any credential city hotel should be inclined to offer to guests. But the biggest problem with the hotel manager is one of business integrity. Rep
