This Hotel may look old on the outside (because it is) but on the inside the hotel rooms have all had a facelift. We are a family of 4, the rooms aren’t the biggest we’ve stayed in but you get the best you can in the space provided. New mattresses and very comfortable, lots of storage we all Slept very well, very quiet surroundings, new bathroom, new decor inside USB ports to charge your phone, complete with Netflix on the new tv!!! Everything worked well and the WiFi was brilliant the best we’ve ever had on holiday. We had a side sea view room. (See pic) Two pools lovely and warm. Great selection at Breakfast, they weren’t serving pancakes the week we came however my son asked and voila, they made them for him every morning. Covid regulations meant everything was provided to stay as safe as possible. The staff treat you very well here and look after your every need, nothing is too much trouble throughout. We came in October and there wasn’t much entertainment, but I’ve heard the entertainment is much better is high season. The hotel is a short bus ride away from the main harbour of Paphos which we rode almost daily, the bus stop is just outside, 3x per hour, cheap and easy. Everyone was friendly, we’d love to come back. Oh and upon arriving home we’d realised my son had lost his wallett... I contacted the hotel who had luckily had found it and it’s safely back here now, complete with my sons euros!!- thanks again for posting!! And for a lovely holiday.

Never in my life have I been so unhappy with a service. I would not recommend for anyone to stay in this terrible Hotel. I had booked a room for me and a friend on hostelworld. When I arrived at the hotel we were not greeted which was fine first thing that came out of his mouth was passport ... no hello no nothing. So after we were given our key to our room. First of all the bathroom was a mess, the bed sheets looked dirty and did not look like they had been cleaned. 5 minutes from arriving we get a call from reception (from an old man called Tom) saying that we had a room booked for 1 person even though we had been given a two single bed room. As I was showing him my email that stated that I had room booked for two, he proceeded to shout at me in such a horrible manner stating that I was wrong and he was right even though I had showed him my confirmation email for the room. I asked to see a manager or someone else above because I didn’t not want to waste my breathe on such a vile man. He ended up calling someone whom I started to speak to over the phone. As I was speaking to the gentleman over the phone “Tom” started shouting at me calling me a liar bringing his face around the table shield with no mask about 5cm away from face and again proceeded to shout at me and call me a liar. At this point in time I got very angry and demanded a refund as I didn’t Not want to stay at such a horrible place that don’t even know how to treat a paying customer right. The gentleman over the phone said that he will come over, hung up the phone on me and 10 minutes later he came to the front lobby. He introduced him self to be the owner and ceo of the hotel and that he would not accept there to be any shouting and to speak calmly. Just as he was saying that he started to defend his staff and say that I was in the wrong and the it was all my fault and that my email is not correct and that their system is correct and so on. He then said that we shouldn’t be in the lobby without a mask even though his staff had no mask and on two occasions had come so close to me during our argument. I told the so called owner/ceo of the company to check the camera which was facing directly towards us and to check how aggressive and intimidating this Tom guy was which he then proceeded to tell me how that wasn’t important. I cannot even go on any longer about how horrible we were treated by Tom and the so called owner of this hotel! But everything from the beginning to the end of it was so intimidating and disgusting behaviour. If I could have given it a 0 star I would! But would not recommend anyone to stay here. It would be better for you to stay at a hostel or Airbnb. Do not even waste your money.

The location of the hotel is in the city center, the location of the hotel, the food, and the service are all good. The disadvantage is that the downstairs is close to the road, the noise is loud at night, and the room size is not too big.

We recently spent 2 weeks here at the Louis Paphos Breeze and I think we were amongst the last guests to leave for the 2020 season. We always thoroughly research our options when travelling to ensure our chosen accommodation is of the type and quality that we are looking for, hence made an informed decision when selecting this hotel. Our experience certainly lived up to expectations and more... The room (1 bedroom suite) was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4, there was a Chico travel cot provided for my baby and ample space for all of our clothes, toys and baby gear! The TV had one good English movie channel. My only suggestion would be to place the TV or add another TV to the bedroom rather than the lounge/children’s sleeping area. The complex was great - we purposely chose a none high rise / non cinder block style resort, the layout is more village style with low rise buildings surrounding the pools and grounds, the whole place is very accessible - it was lovely to walk around all of the paths to get my baby to sleep! The food was excellent, extremely high quality decent cuts of meat, that were accompanied by delicious salads, vegetables, pastas and potato dishes; We were served both buffet style and a la carte and the food was always fresh and flavourful. I am missing the Greek Cypriot influences, we especially loved the lamb dishes at lunch/dinner and the pastries at breakfast. The chefs obviously took pride in their work in difficult circumstances. The location is great for walkers and runners as the hotel sits on the Paphos coastal path, which we walked both ways and loved being next to the sea and the ease. The nearest mini -market is right outside, although they had closed for the season so we used the one along the coastal path at the Akti beach. We also caught the bus to Coral Bay - very easy from the main road. Overall we had a great holiday, Jet2 were once again excellent- we were happy to support a UK owned and operated tour operator in these difficult times. I will definitely be recommending this hotel and a holiday in general to anyone that has not chosen to travel so far during the pandemic; it was great to be away from the media and government onslaught of constant Coronaism in the UK. Yes things were different but mostly for the better - no queuing for the toilets on the flight, better hygiene at the buffet, no entertainment- which suited us we are not into garish shows.

In recent years, my wife and I have visited Cyprus on several occasions in late February and early March for an early break. This year, we booked with TUI once again and opted to stay at this hotel. And what a great choice that was! Although not especially alluring from the outside, once you get through the doors of The King Jason the place is amazing - possibly the best hotel we've stayed in anywhere in the world. From the initial friendly greeting (accompanied by a welcome glass of fizz) and seamless checking in procedure, we were highly impressed. But things only got better when we went down for dinner. Not only was the food on offer of an excellent standard (both in terms of quality and range) but the staff were wonderful. Everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The level of service was exemplary - efficient, polite, friendly and unobtrusive - symptomatic of good training and high standards. And although everyone we encountered did a great job, we have to single out two members of staff for special mention: Andreas - the wonderfully personable hotel manager who was almost always around attending to the needs of the guests, and Maria, the restaurant manager. Both of them led by example and proved not only to be highly efficient but uber-friendly. And while the quality of the food was great, of special note was the outstandingly good (and highly fattening!) dessert bar. It was wonderful sight to behold. Our room (a mini suite) was absolutely fine and suited our needs perfectly. Had we wished to do so we could have self-catered but we were all-inclusive. The area around the pools was spotlessly clean (and was the restaurant and lounge area). Notably, as their publicity makes clear, there is no entertainment provided and that suited us perfectly as it meant we could retire to the lounge area (beautifully appointed and comfortable) afar our meal and sit quietly, have a drink and chat with some of the other guests. Alternatively, guest could retire to the library or, when it is warm enough to do so, go outside on the patio area. Our stay was enhanced by the fact that we met several other couples (one of whom had been there one times previously) and made new friends. Would we go again? Try to stop us! We will certainly be revisiting this hotel before too long and can't recommend it highly enough. The only minor issue we experienced was not down to the hotel but rather to TUI. We booked to go on the day trip to Nicosia - which includes crossing the border into northern Cyprus. Unfortunately, when we booked this trip we were not advised of how much walking there would be. This was particularly problematic in my case as I have a life-long disability that makes walking slow and difficult. On the day of the trip, the guide then mentioned the amount of walking involved but it too late for us to cancel. As a consequence, I found the trip to be entirely unsuitable for me as I was 'forced' to stay

Me, My Sister and Auntie stayed here at the end of August last year. We had never been to Cyprus before therefore was a special welcoming and stay . We checked into the hotel late ( due to a late night flight ) therefore we missed meal times . When we got into our room we were treated with some nice sandwiches so we didn’t miss out. Throughout our stay we went on many adventures to explore the country with a few boat trips (definitely recommend the Wave Dancer , Day and Night cruise with bus pick ups from the hotel ) this was all recommended by our Thomas cook rep for us to do lots of different things during our stay . However we did have some pool days to relax of the sound of the sea (away from the pool ) and always had lovely staff (from the pool bar ) coming to check on us at least every hour to see if we needed more drinks ( deffo recommend the non alcoholic mint and apple mojito) . The pool man was brilliant especially in the hot heat . The food was brilliant , however if you go to the buffet every night it does get a bit repetitive , but part of our all inclusive we got different food nights at the different restaurants in the hotel such as a la Carte , Meze , Flambé , Italian and a couple more . There was entertainment every evening with a lot of it being aimed at children , but there was a quiz night which was fun for teens . There was a kids club during the day with different things going on , and even an adults aqua fit in the morning , as well as a younger children’s care (if you wanted a few ours to yourself ) . The staff couldn’t of been any more helpful and we even got a few little presents from the manager and a lovely goodbye , would like to say thank you to all the staff and all they did to make our stay at your hotel wonderful , and definitely will return in the future , Thank you

This is not a luxury hotel and it isn't trying to be. Paphos is fully of things to do so you should be using it to sleep at night before heading out for the following days adventure. It is basic and the rooms are small but they are clean and fully air conditioned. The only negative is that the bathrooms are very small and sadly I am not. Though it wasn't comfortable showering it wasn't impossible either, just a little bit snug for my liking. The staff here are excellent every request we have made has been acted upon swiftly and with enthusiasm to cater to your needs. Breakfast is basic but very good. On offer are fruit juices, tea and coffee, cereals and yoghurt, a small amount of pastries, fruit preserves, toast, ham cheese and salami. You have the option to sit indoors or outside on the patio in the beautiful sunshine. The location is the standout feature of this hotel. It is right in the middle of everything. Bars and restaurants are everywhere the second you walk out of the door. The harbour is a couple of minutes away and is 10 minutes walk to the bus terminal. The bus service here is excellent but keep plenty of change to pay for the ride. Example 1.50 euros will take you on a 35 minute bus ride on the number (615) to Coral Bay, with excellent scenery along the route. The same bus will take you to the ring of the Kings too. Tip! sit on the left side of the bus for great views of the med. A taxi will cost you 17 euros for the same trip and will not be as enjoyable either. If you want somewhere to rest at night and start the day with breakfast, this is perfect. If you want a luxury holiday resort with all inclusive and spa etc. This is not for you.

This is by far the best hotel i have had the pleasure of visiting - ever. I repeat...ever. I have reviewed well over 100 hotels on TA, and i cannot overstate the awesomeness of this property. The place is beautiful, immaculately clean and the rooms are at an unsurpassed standard of comfort. The attention to esthetic detail all over the hotel, public spaces and rooms are, simply put, a straight 10. We stayed in the cabana rooms (009 and 010) and they were truly a special experience. By far, the highest compliment i can give goes to the staff at the Amavi. All of them, without exception, were very courteous, always smiling and highly responsive and professional. I was upset by one reviewer who commented negatively about the staff, so i will say this again - I have never experienced such a high standard of service, from the bell-boys at the entrance, the reception, restaurants, guest services and housekeeping. Credit must be given to the hotel’s GM and to those responsible for the staff training and maintenance of such high standards. The food was better than outstanding. The dinner at Nocturne was one of the best cuisine experiences that i, together with my friends, have ever experienced. Thank you for this weekend experience. We will return - as often as possible - and it is a pleasure to know that you can access such a high-quality property, at a reasonable price.

From arrival at the Anemi suites, we were made to feel very welcome by the front desk staff and it was immediately obvious that the hotel were taking all the necessary precautions to prevent Covid 19. There were sanitisers throughout the hotel at all the main points and we felt very safe and secure indeed. We booked an Executive Suite on 4th floor and were very pleased with our choice with our room overlooking the pool. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was very modern and had excellent air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely large fridge and crockery and cutlery available. The breakfast each day was very fresh, tasty and plentiful and coffee machine made an excellent cup of coffee. Large choice of continental food, and also great choice of hot food available. Again there was sanitiser and disposable gloves that all guests had to wear before entering the breakfast area. We also attended the Sunday Brunch, served between 11am and 3pm on two occasions and there was an amazing choice of food available to try. We certainly did not need an evening meal after it and it was a great opportunity to sample various Cypriot delights. The hotel was quieter than it would normally be due to the circumstances but that had its advantages as there was plenty of sunbeds available around the very large swimming pool. It really was the hotel to go to, to unwind and recharge the batteries and what made it extra special was the individual attention that all the staff gave to all the guests. Every member of the staff that we came into contact with were a credit to the hotel, and I did want to mention a few by name, but unfortunately I have lost the piece of paper with the names I wrote, but one in particular was the Operations manager, I know his name began with P. He was a treasure and never went by us with out some conversation, and on the morning of my birthday he arrived at our breakfast table with 2 glasses of bucks fizz, obviously having noted a conversation we had, had about my usual birthday ritual. And if that was not enough, there was a bottle of prosecco in our room when we returned after our day out. All the reception staff were lovely, but George and I think her name was Alina or similar stood out for never letting you go by without a wee chat. Thankyou for an amazing holiday... we will definitely be back and will book direct next time. xx

We got stuck at the airport due to cancelled flights and only needed somewhere to sleep for a night. Since easyjet did not help to find a place I booked it myself. Only went for a basic double room. On arrival we were informed that they do not have any doubles available so we got two beds put together but they did upgrade our room. The reception area was absolutely beautiful, with calming music, smelled lovely and had plenty of inviting space to lounge, it did look more than 3*. The room had a side sea view, a balcony, nice toiletries and a good air conditioning. Free wifi included for all the devices. I was really surprised to see that the bathroom door were sliding see through door so I could see my partner on a toilet.. do not understand why it's done this way but we found it funny and laughed it off. Otherwise it was all fresh and clean. The reception staff were nice and helpful. Our very early breakfast had excellent choice the only minus is that the food was almost cold such a pity as otherwise it was great. In general, the hotel is in excellent location to enjoy Paphos night life and we simply can not complain about anything because of the value we got at this hotel. Thank you for making our unplanned extra night in Cyprus as stress free as possible.

Just returned from the Crystallo Apartments again, was a bit worried about travelling in these times but as soon as We arrived We were very impressed with the way things were being done here. All rules being followed and spotlessly clean everywhere. We had a room which opened up on to the pool and it had everything We needed for our stay, the pool area although fairly quiet had all the sun beds spaced out correctly and you could see the maids thoroughly cleaning apartments and communal areas all day. Not many people around in the evenings but the owners son Stathis who works the evenings was always polite and asking if We were having a nice time, where We had been and giving us suggestions of places to visit and eat, nothing seemed too much trouble ( I like a certain wine and He made sure they always had some ) even picked me up some milk one day as He was going to the shop. He was also teaching us some Greek words and we were explaining some English, quite a laugh some nights. The location is great for beach, bars, restaurants and shops but still peaceful enough for a relaxing holiday.

We visited Cyprus on our honeymoon in 1988 and decided to visit Cyprus again this year for our 32nd anniversary..although we didnt stay at the Veronica hotel we wanted to visit this place for old times sake as we had very fond memories of this family owned hotel in 1988. It had changed a lot from the front and we went in for a drink, explaining to the reception desk why we had come. It's such a shame that the hotel has lost its warmth in greeting people - I suppose it's called progression!... we had a quick look around- bought back many lovely lovely memories!.. we rode around Cyprus on a little moped with any helmets in those days..and one morning in the moment of showing off my husband sped out of the hotel and we both fell off it..we limped back in and the hotel owner bought some iodine to our room to put on our little wounds..and then gave us free drinks in the evening..its those little things we will not forget.. we still remember the hotel as it was then and not now..memories are strong ...

There are many positives to staying at Helios Bay. I found the staff to be friendly and nothing was a bother. I asked advice on bus connections, where to eat, etc and found Irena and Elena on reception very knowledgeable. My apartment was always well cleaned and had lovely, soft towels. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and had nice sheets. Great air conditioning, and it’s free of charge. Irons and ironing boards are available but not already in the apartments. Good hairdryer in the bedroom. There is a safe that is €8.50 to hire for the week. WIFI in the apartment was quoted as being €5 but they gave it to me complimentary. There is free WIFI in the reception area. I emailed Helios Bay directly and requested a top floor apartment with a balcony and sea view. This was indeed what I received. All my emails and questions were replied to very, very quickly by Nicos. I cannot fault the fantastic communication. A taxi was arranged for me and the driver was waiting for me on my arrival. This was €30 and took around 20 – 25 minutes. The view from my apartment was spectacular, looking over the pretty garden down to the sea. The sunsets were a little obscured from my balcony as the palm trees were in the way…but this didn’t really matter as I went down into the garden to watch them. And they are incredible! I took to running most evenings along the paths down to the beach, at the same time as the sun was setting. Nothing quite like it! And at the time I visited it was lovely and quiet. No fight for sunbeds! As other reviewers have mentioned, the number 615 bus stops right outside Helios Bay and costs only €1.50 a journey – whether it’s to Lidl supermarket (around 10 minutes away) or Paphos Harbour (around 20 minutes away). They run every 15 minutes, were comfortable and air conditioned. Other interesting bits I noticed: Cars drive on the left-hand side so hiring a car wouldn’t be nearly as traumatic for those who worry about “driving on the wrong side”. Plugs are as they are in UK, so three pins rather than the two pins you normally find in Europe. Almost all signage (including labels/signs in supermarkets) is in English as well as in Greek. The people I came across were so very friendly. Places I can recommend are Kasparis (almost opposite Helios Bay), Caravelle (same side of the road as Helios Bay, around a 5 – 6 minute walk), Phidias Tavern in Coral Bay (a little of the main strip but great menu, food and staff). One suggestion to Helios Bay would be to put some pictures on the walls of the living area in the apartments, and add some colourful scatter cushions to the sofas, along with nicer curtains. With only a little bit of work this could actually feel more 4* than 3*. It’s currently quite basic. Also, it would be helpful to leave some basics in the kitchen area such as washing up liquid and kitchen roll. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Helios Bay, and can definitely recommend it to others.

Really its strange summing up our holiday at the hotel and of the area situated or as it transpires Paphos itself it was so much in contrast . Both my friend enjoyed the stay at this hotel ,the food was delicious the staff were faultless and really couldn't do enough for guests. The hotel itself was luxurious but for what we paid one cant expect 5" accommodation and some of the guests did except they hadn't paid for it !! Lovely finishing touches such as free afternoon tea coffee and absolutely gorgeous cakes served daily and a lovely welcoming log fire blazing in the hotel lounge . The rooms were pretty basic but clean we were early session and of course a lot of the entertainment provided hadn't yet commenced either in the hotel or surrounding bars and restaurants but a short bus journey into town and things were a little busier and lively. The biggest disappointment were the beaches which were either non existent or gravel/seaweed a few tiny sandy bays to be found but again often litter with an abundance of washed up debris unfortunately the weather didn't lend its hand to sunbathing or indeed using the outdoor hotel pool although the indoor pool sufficed Would we return ? Categorically not although no fault of the hotel but the whole of the resort was swarming with cats and I mean swarming just everywhere you went not just around this hotel AL Lthe surrounding hotels had them we witnessed them laying on sunbeds drinking from pools and kittens having kittens Please take heed ! Its a cat lovers paradise , unfortunately I don't include myself in the latter and although arriving home less than 24hrs ago cant seem surmount the reek of Tom spray from my nostrils

Having read some negative reviews i was a little dubious about booking this apartment but it ticked a lot of boxes so went ahead and this is where we stayed on a short break in Paphos. My overall impression was a good one and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was basic in cooking utensils but compared to home they always are and i was able to cook breakfast as we ate out for all other meals. There was a musty smell under the kitchen sink but this didn't effect our holiday. The staff were all friendly and nothing was to much trouble so i could not fault anything here. We were in apartment 20 which overlooked the pool and very handy for making drinks and enjoying them poolside. A local resident in the neighbourhood liked using his leaf blower early in the morning so we were woken up several times and believe me it was noisy. The pool was freezing and not once did i see it being cleaned. It was very slippery underfoot and the sides were also very slippery. If it was cleaned it was during our time away from the apartment during the day. The local attractions were a little drive away and i would recommend a car as a necessity. One night our neighbours chose to ignore the no noise policy late at night and we were kept away until 3am but that is just inconsiderate people and nothing to do with the complex but there was no one to complain to at that time and i would not call it an emergency situation to use the phone number on the reception door. Overall a very nice stay with excellent size accommodation. Friendly helpfull staff Good location Very reasonably priced

We stayed a the Louis Imperial hotel the last week of October. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The main buffet food was always plentiful and varied with lots of choices and even a buffet for children with their usual favourites. Masks and gloves had to be worn in the restaurant which gave a feeling of safety and all guests followed the regulations. The hotel was only a third full which gave plenty of choice for sun beds round the pool and on the small beach. Staff were attentive in offering drinks in both locations. Masks had to be worn at all times with the exception of eating, drinking or in the pool. Unfortunately new guidance had been put in place the day we arrived and all bars including the hotel bar had to close at 10pm. This was not so much of an issue as we were on holiday with our grandchildren who were early risers! As the week went on the hotel became quieter with some neighbouring hotels closing. Paphos centre was also very quiet. Our flight home was just in time to avoid the 14 day compulsory isolation. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The breakfast is rich. The hotel is close to the sea, and it's quite beautiful to watch the sunrise in the sea view room. It has convenient parking. It's suitable for trips of families, parents and children as well as couples. The coastal running track is behind the hotel, which is very convenient for morning exercises. A marine project service point is conveniently located nearby.

The location of the hotel is in the city center, the location of the hotel, the food, and the service are all good. The disadvantage is that the downstairs is close to the road, the noise is loud at night, and the room size is not too big.
