My husband and I have found this hotel to be very comfortable. This is our 4th week (Mon-Fri). Three of the four weeks, we were placed in an efficiency type room with a full size refrigerator, 2-burner stove top, microwave & dishwasher. One week we were very fortunate and were assigned a one-bedroom suite. The kitchens are equipped the same. They all offer limited cookware, plates, glasses, etc. We found the furnishings adequate for our short weekday stays. The rooms are clean and cheerful, with one or two (in the one-bedroom) large flat screen TVs. The WIFI is strong. The A/C is cold and regulated by a thermostat. The breakfasts include an ample variety of good food during this COVID-19 scare, despite hot foods being limited to sandwiches, etc, that can be microwaved in your room. The beds are comfortable. It's a great place to stay.

I had not ventured to Phoenix in well over a decade, so I have now realized that the sprawl is real! Cambria Hotel has opened up one of their newest properties here within the hip, up-and-coming area of the Roosevelt Row Art District, just a mile from downtown and the convention center. From the minute I stepped in to the hotel under the massive leaf canopy, I was extremely pleased with the aesthetic and decor--not to mention everything is brand spanking new! Service: Kai at the front desk was super welcoming, friendly and willing to provide tips on nearby sights/restaurants. She gave us a verbal tour of the hotel and amenities. Note: If you have a car, they do offer valet but parking is a bit steep at $36. Hotel: The main lobby has a plethora of funky, artistic and youthful decor, couches and seating--not to mention the art work on the walls is spectacular. Be sure to take a moment to walk through the downstairs hall to see the art. There is a top-rated, locally-sourced restaurant inside the lobby named Poppy (yelp.com/biz/poppy-phoen…). Their brunch (recommend the Brioche French Toast or Chili Poached Eggs) and cocktails (if you're a fan of whiskey, order the Smoked & Stoned) were tasty during my stay. If you happened to forget something at home, there is a decent sized convenience store with toiletries, refrigerated beverages, bites, microwave and more. Rooftop: The rooftop has one of the top views and most hip bar in town! This alone is not to be missed with the downtown skyline and surrounding mountains including the famous landmark of Camelback Mountain. The roof also features a "water feature" that you can cool off in (not to be confused with a pool); I'd compare it to a Barbie wading pool. If you're hungry or thirsty, From The Rooftop Bar & Lounge (yelp.com/biz/from-the-ro…) offers food and beverages most of the day, not to mention Happy Hour cocktails and tacos Monday-Friday 3:00PM-6:00PM. I enjoyed their $7 Deep Eddy vodka cocktail with an elegant, fresh charcuterie board. Go early since it does become crowded in the evenings with a DJ spinning jams. Expect the convenience of two lines at the elevator, one to access guest rooms and another for the rooftop. Room: One word to sum it up--Stellar! - Quite spacious in size with beautiful wall coverings/paint colors, modern decor and a fun mix of colors - An unexpected Bluetooth speaker behind the bathroom mirror (don't let its voice frighten you when you turn on one of the three lights) allow you to connect and play music from your cell phone or other Bluetooth devices - Pleasant smelling and quality bath products and towels - A kitchenette featuring a mini fridge, separate sink and dining table - Central air conditioning is a welcome and necessary requirement, yet it was thankfully not loud nor limited to a wall unit - High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel was a perk since I was here for business - All rooms are smoke-free and pet-free - There are beautiful vi

Stayed there overnight and had an outstanding couple of experiences in the dining areas. Breakfast was cooked by Sean, who came out and met us. Our server was Fabiola. Both did an outstanding job. The evening prior, Adam was the entire staff, tending bar, serving tables, all by himself. He was polite, patient, and efficient. Did one terrific job. Well Done.

I stayed in room 720 with some friends specifically for the rumors that it is haunted. The maintenance man was great and gave us a tour of the whole place at 2 am. We asked him if he had any ghost experiences. He said a few years prior a guy was in town on business and was staying in room 720. The guy comes down to the lobby at 3 am and tried to sleep on the couch. The lobby staff asked if there was anything they could help him with. He said he refused to go back up to that room because something grabbed his feet and tried to pull him off the bed. Since he refused to go back up the maintenance guy had to go up and get the guy's stuff. Needless to say the guy left and never looked back. Another story happened on the third floor. The maintenance guy got a call to go to a room because an old lady woke up in the middle of the night and saw a lady standing  at the foot of the bed and walked out the room through the door. The old lady freaked out and needed to be consoled. Armed with those stories, I figured we were staying in the right room. We went to bed around 2 am, but i couldn't sleep. An hour later my friend wakes up out of breath from a nightmare he had, claiming the t.v. screen had a portal to hell coming out of it, and that some entity came out of the portal and sat on his chest and was suffocating him. I was awake the whole time and didn't see anything come out of the t.v. But after his dream we decided to go back to sleep but couldn't, so we just laid there. As we layed there in the dark it sounded like something was trying to flip the switch to turn on the t.v. but couldn't muster enough energy to do it. After a few minutes of this my friend yelled no and whatever it was seemed to stop. I've stayed in room 720 a few times. The only haunts the other times were the stinky ghosts of the food we ate coming out of "other" portals to hell. Will definitely be staying there more times. The hallways look like something out of The Shining. Its worth the experience.

Hi hi, so I just want to give Frank Jones a shoutout for being very considerate. I am assuming he is part of the cleaning crew, because I came back to a note that read as follows: "Sorry did not want to run the risk of stepping on your MacBook or clothes." it's a simple act, but I wanted to go out of my way to say thank you. Everything else in the room looks perfect and spotless, thank you!

This hotel is such a disappointment. First off, it’s a Hilton, which typically have a good reputation. Second, it’s a fairly new building, which you would think would help. Third, it operates nothing like any other Home2 Suites or Hilton establishment I’ve stayed at. This place was absolutely filthy. The common areas (where the phones are located) right when you step off of the elevators, were disgusting. You could literally see the dust piled on to each chest that holds each phone right when you step off of the elevator on each floor. Clearly these chests have never been dusted or wiped down and the garbage cans next to them have never been cleaned either. The carpets throughout the building seem to have not been vacuumed in weeks, maybe more. The first room I was given I literally had to ask to be switched because it was sooo dirty. The second room we were given wasn’t much cleaner, but we were exhausted (we have driven across country in 6 days and were exhausted after driving 7-9 hrs each day). I had to basically clean the entire room myself before I could even let my kids come in. Behind the beds was so extremely dirty and dusty, the bathrooms have clearly not been cleaned in quite some time, the shower gel that they have installed in the showers was completely empty. The towels looked dirty and one of the wash cloths I didn’t let anyone use because it was so dirty and looked to have just been rolled back up and put back. The grounds aren’t cleaned up at all and there was trash everywhere around the building and in the parking lot. Their bagged breakfast wasn’t good and they were so extremely strict about it. They would only give us a bagged breakfast for each person they saw. I always run down and grab the breakfasts for myself and my kids but the staff wouldn’t give me more than one bagged breakfast and so I had to go back upstairs, bring my kids down with me and they had to receive the breakfast from the staff. That is ridiculous and completely unrealistic, especially during a pandemic when we are all trying to have the least amount of interaction with strangers/the general public. I will never stay at this establishment again and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. We paid over $175 for a one night stay (that’s the price AFTER my military discount too which is sad) and it wasn’t at all worth it. This place shouldn’t be charging over $79 a night. The convenient location is the only good thing about this hotel.

Overall this was a great stay. Most everything I love about this hotel. I stay in a lot of "Hilton" branded hotels and this holds the standard solid. Everything was clean, and our room was very nice. The bathtub did not drain well and was a little out dated. (always hate standing in water taking a shower). The hairdryer was a wall mount and really did not blow good at all. But the bathroom was nice overall and clean. I will give this hotel a 5 out of 5 because it has a hot tub and pool that was perfectly maintained- this is definitely a place to stay again and worth the reasonable cost.

We spent two nights at the Phoenician in a casita. It was so enjoyable! The room was large with comfortable beds and nice furnishings. The closet was spacious enough for our luggage and clothing. The bathroom was large with two sinks and good lighting. The shower was quick to get hot and had great water pressure. The sinks took about 4 mins to get hot. That's a long time to wait for hot water and a lot of wasted water. Everyone from the concierge, to the valets, to housekeeping was friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. The location is great! The Camelback mountain is beautiful and Old Town Scottsdale is just down the street.

We just stayed here 3 nights. If you have the Hilton app, you can check-in your room via the app You go straight to your room and if the app is working, you can use your phone to open the door. On a few occasions, we had to wait a few minutes before the app door function would work. On arrival (4:00 p.m.), we found out they had the water shut off until 6:00 p.m.. We had a function to attend and after a long drive we were unable to freshen up or use the bathroom. Again, the next following day, we received notice the water would be turned off from noon to 6:00 p.m. This time, we made changed our schedule to work around this. What an inconvenience!! Back to the title, when we checked in, we went straight to our room and pass the front desk. No acknowledgment at all from the front desk and no one to offer to help with our luggage. In and out the hotel over 3 days and never an acknowledgment from the front desk. They don't even look up. We had a view of Stonecreek Golf Club. Not much of a view of brown died up fairways. Not the hotels fault, but don't waste money spending for a golf course view. The rooms are a little dated, but clean. We use to watch Hotel Impossible, so we've learned how to check if a hotel room is properly cleaned. Plus, there are two nice sized flat screen TV's in the room.

My Mom, Brother and I stayed at this contemporary and very modernly designed hotel. The day and night staff were SO friendly and helpful. The Front Desk Manager, Cindy was gracious and I truly enjoyed my conversation with her. The Night-Time Associate, Derek was helpful in providing a few more coffee pods and answered my many questions about how to use the equipment room. FYI - I just started back exercising on a treadmill. I used one in the equipment room and it was ‘Righteous’. My Brother and I ate at the Bistro. He ate the filling Meatball dish and I ate a huge bowl of roasted Brussel Sprouts with a vinaigrette that was Outstanding! Our room and bathroom were clean, Mom thought the mattress was too hard, but that was her! The tub had safety bars for Mom and me! Coffee in the AM was good. Good place and Good people!

Not being familiar with the geographic layout of Phoenix in relation to a family wedding in Goodyear, we chose this hotel based mainly on price. Mr. Patel and his staff gave fantastic customer service and immediately met our every requested need (roll-away bed, pool access, clothes iron). The rooms were very clean, everything worked, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. The only drawback for our stay was the sketchy convenience store two blocks away where we happened to stop for a late-night soda after picking up family at the airport. Just a warning, don't go there too late. The three clerks were inundated with drunks trying to steal stuff from the shelves at 12:30 am. Make those stops early!

Came here with my family for a second time in the last couple of years because we just love this hotel so much. We had been on a road trip for the previous week staying at Marriott Bonvoy hotels along the way and they had all been awesome with following strict Covid guidelines. The Kierland was to be our last hotel stay before heading back home and was supposed to be a fun surprise for our kids. When we checked in, as normal we saw signs and protocols were being followed with the lobby, valet and housekeeping staff. However we saw several guests around the lobby area (inside) that couldn’t be bothered to wear masks. Also some of these people were even joining elevator rides with people outside their own parties with no regard to the rules to separate families and strangers in the elevators. Then upon entering the outdoor family pool area you would have never guessed we were in the middle of a pandemic. There were provision signs and socially distanced chairs that were all set up (Great!). However masks were not required while swimming and lounging (understandable). But the real problem was that several large groups (way more than the 10 person limit rule) were partying and gathering everywhere. The pool was well over capacity, there were no rules on social distancing in the lazy river and the water slides. The worst was the Flow Rider pool staff that were not only not wearing masks but they were also yelling rules up close at all the kids including ours! So many of the pool staff were not wearing or just improperly wearing their masks. When we inquired about it at the pool check in they said it was just a busy Saturday and there wasn’t much they could do about it. The whole scene was unnerving and a real disappointment. Unfortunately for our family we felt safer to cut our trip short there and head to another hotel that was much better about following CDC guidelines and that made us feel more at ease.

Running a business and traveling around the world is sometimes a pain and can be quite stressful at times. There's of course the pressures of owning a business, staying relevant, traveling to see new trends and what's hot, meetings and fashion week. Its important to bring excitement, beauty and fashion into peoples lives and I spend 75% of my time away from my home. So, when I am on the road I look for just that, my home away from home. Extended stay located here on E. OAK ST. in Phoenix has offered more than enough. The staff is respectful, knowledgeable and responsive to you and your needs, The rooms are extremely clean and spacious and they offer a few amazing amenities just in case you were to ever get bored. There's a gym, a pool, snacking area and a nice outdoor sitting and BBQ area. Located by a shopping center, grocery store, and of course Walmart, you could never go wrong. I recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Phoenix area. You will not be disappointed. 2 thumbs up from me. -The Pieces Of Me, LLC

The other reviews of this hotel were correct. This is a low-budget hotel with great amenities. Conveniently located near the 51 St. exit of I-10 west, it was surprisingly quiet and offered a good night's sleep. Everything seemed big there, the parking area, the lobby, the elevator, the room itself, and the bathroom. Spacious, well equipped room, nice bed, good heating unit, bathroom with a great tub and shower, and wifi worked very well in the room. Rich, hot breakfast included, and it was somewhat different than normally, very enjoyable. This is a hotel to stay in for the weary traveler. There is a pool (too cold for me in Nov. even to try out) and an exercise room.

This is not the Hilton BUT it is a good reasonable priced, clean motel. Lisa has cleaned out the unsavory people and there is security on site. It is an older motel but they keep it clean. Pool is a pleasure, hot tub good temp. Lots of truck parking and the staff is friendly. The Country Boys resturant on site has a good variety of food to choose from and it is all good. Daily specials, two for one. Staff is great. The bar area is far enough away you can bring the family and not be bothered. Everything in one place. Very easy to get to and quiet. Some people might find the airplanes annoying but we didn't. Again family friendly, safe and clean. Stayed a week never saw a bug, bed or cockroach. A Very Enjoyable week long stay at Best Western North Phoenix.. The hotel lived up to Tripadvisor reviews. Location was on a one way frontage road that made it a bit funky but not that difficult to maneuver. A handful of good restaurant options were within walking distance and dozens more were less than a mile away. the hotel is located in business area with a park near by so relatively quiet and enjoyed a daily walk. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable but rooms and breakfast area could be larger. the hotel is also family and pet friendly so a couple nights we had kids running the halls and one evening we heard a barking dog. The pool area was nice and water temp good. breakfast was your average hotel fare but crew keptit well stocked and all day coffee machine was a bonus. housekeeping was friendly and did a nice job and the front desk crew all were very nice especially Sam who was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to go. As I wrote in The title I would give The Best Western an overall grade of B or b+.

You do not need a car to stay here. The bus stops right outside the resort. Or you can walk to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. If you are a great walker like me you can walk to Sprouts Market and TJ Max or take the bus. You can take the bus to Safeway and Paradise Valley Mall easily and Cheesecake Factory is at Biltmore Mall, easy to get to on the bus. Marshalls and Old Navy are easy to visit before lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. The resort used to have handouts of units available for resale. You can access the list on line but sometimes it is convenient to have a handout. The lobby has a large brochure rack so I hope management reconsiders and puts handouts of resale units available back on display.

Plenty of free parking for both small and large vehicles. Lobby is well kept and up to date. Upon arrival staff was courteous and made us feel welcomed. As all Doubletree Hilton hotels their signature cookies and waters are available upon arrival. All guests can obtain these warm chocolate chip cookies only at check in but as a Hilton Diamond member, you are able to request them at anytime throughout your stay. Dining area was open floor plan and staff is attentive to guest needs. Breakfast is not available to all guest for free as part of your stay. As a Diamond member they offer free breakfast buffet with moderate amounts of choices, cold and hot drinks. No made to order omelette station is available. However, a la carte breakfast is available at an additional cost to all. Bedroom was clean and well kept, however the room layout is not convenient. The corner guest room we were upgraded to has a small wall that divides restroom and bedding area. The wall (open at top) is thin and all noises could clearly be heard in bedroom. Room lacks privacy in that aspect. Hilton property has plenty conference spaces and plenty of family size guest rooms. Pool is outdoors, perfect for Arizona weather. Pool size is large enough for families with kids to play. Jacuzzi tub adjacent to pool area perfect for adults to relax while kids take a swim. Gym is well equipped with plenty of cardio machines. Well kept with water, towels and disposable headphones for your use while you work out. Hotel Cons: Lack of room restroom privacy and odd guest room floor plan. Hotel conference center is close to guest rooms causing noice to carry on to the hotel hallways. Noise can be disruptive while events are held at property. I have stayed here several times. It's very affordable and close to downtown. We stay here when we are going to concerts. Its usually a $7 Uber ride to Comerica. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. Cleanest Comfort Inn I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is fine. You can make waffles, they have mini omelets, great coffee and more. I will definitely stay here everytime I come this way for concerts or for meeting up downtown. It's far away from the crazys and close enough for a cheap Uber ride.

Phoenix Central City
Overall the experience is good, and George (I hope I got his name right!) was very nice and friendly at the front desk. The room was nice and spotless. Overall was pretty quiet and bed was comfy. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to walk to, and there’s the lounge on the 13th floor. A few cons: -The entrance is pretty hard to find and figure out because of construction, and they don’t have valet/anyone outside because of covid. -They don’t have their own parking structure, so you have to park in the public structure next block over ($18 per day, no in/out privileges). At least you can leave your car in what would normally be the valet area while you check in and take your luggage to your room, with no issues. -They have coffee downstairs, but you have to specifically ask for some for your room. Also, the toiletries didn’t include the usual lotion. They have no problems providing these upon request though, just feels a little stingy (though perhaps a covid precaution I haven’t encountered at other hotels). -Pillows are terrible. These were all small cons though, wouldn’t necessarily deter me from staying here again.
