I didn't want cave-type hotels because I had two children ... this was not like a house hotel room you know new buildings modern items.. Metahisar is in the middle of Ürgüp-goremen ... employees very good people support and helpers ... cleaning the room was very good breakfast was very good ... very happy we went out ... I can say where we will stay alone ... silent city A great place near the Fort Ortahisar, far from the crowd ... Thank you very much asmir hotel

Having a King size bed, authantic design and a fancy bath room television, air conditioning, base warming, fridge and television Location was 4 minutes drive away from Urgup city center. Breakfast was rich and delicious - A large plate Turkish cheese varieties, Olive varieties in 4 small bowls. Jam varieties in 4 bowls, morning salad, A plate of egg (in any type you would like), Slice of cake and Börek of the day. And unlimited Turkish Tea. Hosts were so polite, organized and careful for a covid-free stay. Price / quality wise its really good and definitely worth. Highly recommend to anyone willing to pay a visit to Capadocia

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly blended with the surroundings, located in a unique environment with views that will remain in our memory forever. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was walking through it, your imagination took you to another time. Breakfast was typical Turkish, fabulous and amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to any request, especially I remember Volkan who was at the reception, he helped us a lot with his explanations about the places we should visit explaining the reasons for doing so, he was a charming person for us. We definitely have to go back.

|0.25km from city centerIf you're expecting a fancy 5-star with room service, spa, multiple restaurants and all the other creature comforts, Taru Cave Suites is not for you. They're a small, family-run business with ten rooms, so they don't have all those bells and whistles. What they DO have however, far outweighs what they don't – an authentic 'cave' experience balanced with just the right amount of modern-day comforts. We reached the hotel quite late and Daniel at the front desk was up, bright as a daisy, to check us in and help us get settled. The reception is at the top level and the rooms are spread across three levels down. The room itself was spacious with a cavernous (literally and figuratively) attached bath. A big, comfortable metal (wasn't sure if it was wrought iron or brass) bed, a couple of chairs and a TV assured us we were living in modern times. A huge balcony was the highlight (ours was the only room with a balcony). Sadly, it was raining and cold and windy, so we couldn't make proper use of it. There is no room service, nor does the hotel have attached restaurants. Of course, you can order in from the restaurants in Göreme city center (they have the menus in the room), but we chose to walk around and eat at authentic places close by. They do have a breakfast place where a staff of three makes fresh breakfast every morning. If it's not too cold, feel free to take your cup of coffee to the attached terrace and enjoy taking in the view. The staff is amazing – friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special shout-out to Daniel (thank you for taking our calls at midnight just to tell us the WiFi password!) and Bahar (thank you for pointing us to the Apetito restaurant!) Would definitely recommend this place.

|0.79km from city centerI prefer the overall feeling of Urgup than the hotel in Goreme. The weather is not on the hot air balloon, but it is also worth making up here. This hotel is the one I am most looking forward to and it is fully in line with expectations. The bedding is extremely soft. The room was clean and the walk was fine. The fur is very cute, I can't wait to take it back to the room. The pictures are taken by myself. Did not eat breakfast because of catching the plane, the boss got up in the morning to prepare us bread and milk to eat. I hope that tourists don't take a bath in the bathtub, first wash the shower and then go into the bathtub, otherwise the dirty things will be blocked in the massage outlet. When others turn on the massage mode, there will be dirty things floating out, even if the boss carefully cleans the room, Can't solve this.

Near this hotel, on top of the hill, You can see a breathtaking outlook of the whole city, and also explore some caves nearby. In general, the Kayadibi cave hotel is in the center of Ürgüp, which makes it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, furniture is authentic and well maintained. The shower works well (no problems with hot water and water flow). Although it's summertime and hot outside, the temperature in cave rooms is just perfect without extra cooling. I’m glad to have stayed in such a hotel – it’s certainly extraordinary to have an opportunity to spend some time in a cave hotel! Thanks to the hotel owner I had a pleasant experience whilst traveling in Cappadocia.

She spoke English very fluently and able to give us the best information and guide that we need as a team of four. Adnan is a wonderful person. He took us to great places that fit us well, and most of the time accompany us to visit places. Although it wasn't in his responsibility. But he always very willing to show us and inform us the background story in each and every places. It was meaningful trip for us to meet him. He is the first kind Turkish person I met in Turkey. Hope all the best for him and the hotel. It located in good place. Very recommended!

I also lived in Goreme and therefore I have something to compare it with A huge plus is the expanses around (keep in mind that hotels in Goreme have very dense buildings to each other!) Not so many tourists, and spacious atmospheric streets with wonderful restaurants and cafes.Only 5 km to the center of Urgup. The hotel is located on a mountain with a picturesque view! Wonderful atmosphere, and rooms in the rock. There is heating and a hot shower! After the race, he was very useful to me) The hotel owner is a very polite and caring person. Speaks good English. There is a chance that next year I will choose the same hotel)

There was a small terrace area outside with a table and chairs in order to relax in the fresh air, but also, two comfy chairs and a table in our room. The shower was a nice size and the water was piping hot. The central heating was full on. The hotel is located just outside the main tourist area, but only a short drive away. The breakfasts were ample. The room, bathroom and dining room were all clean/ The staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed wiith family too, so, although no facilities as such for children, they children were comfortable there, All 7 of us, enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Thank you for your kindness and the room was upgraded, and it was a hotel full of hospitality. The price is also conscientious and wonderful.
Some rooms seem to have a hot water pool, so I recommend anniversaries.
It was good to stay here on the last night of Cappadocia.

The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

The cave rooms were all unique, some quite big with multiple rooms and others small and cosy. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, organising food, laundry services, transport and always attentive to our needs. The hotel is located just a short five minute walk into the village which has really good cafes and restaurants, all with wifi. The restaurant serves a great buffet breakfast and while we didn’t have dinner there we heard it is very popular for tourists. Well worth booking for group or small bookings.

The hotel has relics and antiques, making it feel very authentic. The rooms are kitschy and have a lot of character!! Beautiful views and very quiet. There’s a nice living room and patio to sit and read a book or just relax after a long day of site seeing. The bathroom shower is next to toilet without a separating wall which at first I thought was odd, but i got used to it and realized it’s fine! I saw other room has a separator and with 2 beds, so you’ll need to request this one. Also water ran hot and strong. Beds is on the harder side but for some that’s great and I hear that’s how it is in the hotels in this area. I stayed 6 nights and loved it at Born Hotel! I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.

Rooms were luxurious and had amazing products! Etrugul at the reception was very helpful and friendly even whilst working on our booking online. There was Vegetarian options for breakfast and if there was something specific that we required, they made it for us. Rooms were spacious and comfortable but I felt they needed more lighting as it did feel dark and dim…views of Urgup from the private balcony & from the hotel were stunning. overall an amazing experience and comfortable stay at this property!

We love the hotel for the room is spacious, amenities were great, service was extra-ordinary, the breakfast was superb and eventhough we arrived at the property few hours early, they check us in without any charge. Thank you for that!
If you are staying here you will enjoy peace and serenity. Which we love!
But if you like city like ambience, Urgup is not the place, stay in Goreme.
Which hotel you stay is not important for hot air balloon because most of the hot air balloon package will include hotel transfer to hot air balloon site and back to the hotel.

Most famous but compared to Goreme's over-commercialization, I prefer this town to Otahesa orthahisar. This is a small town free traveler who also chooses less here but perhaps officially retains more of the country's cultural hotel. 3 minutes walk from the town center supermarket cafe attractions museum, even if you want to go to Goreme restaurant, there is a minibus 6 lira can take a taxi 30 lira hotel is very comfortable and style is more characteristic than other cave hotels, the cave hotel is most afraid There is no elevator and this hotel is one of the few breakfasts provided. The rooms are small and large with a large terrace. There is a teapot in the rooms, you can always drink tea and coffee, everything clean and neat. Welcome staff who responded to all our requests. Hotel rooms are very clean, tidy and has everything you need for comfortable pastime in the room. Sockets are everywhere. Wi-fi are fast and stable. Kettle with tea in the room. Hotel owner Attila is such a nice and caring person. He helped us with a tour, taxi and even woke us up in the early morning for a balloons. :) Breakfasts in the hotel are homemade with love and from the heart. Impeccably decorated with a collection of Ottoman antiques, incredible carpets and gorgeous textile artwork. The are multiple day beds to curl up to read a book, large windows in both rooms and a wonderful large bed with fresh linens and excellent pillows. An ensuite tea service and an upstairs private terrace and bathroom with large shower and plenty of clean towels. Besides the beauty of the rooms the great joy is the view into the central village of old Ortahisar. Epic. I’m happy I could easily negotiate the metal spiral staircase that leads to the upstairs bathroom and private terrace. If a person has mobility issues I know there are more suitable and equally beautiful suites on the property.

Further, we loved the concept as every detail of the hotel is well thought off and the standard of hygiene is a 10/10. The breakfast very varied and delicious as all served was organic (self made and harvested) and all our wishes were always fulfilled with a smile on the face!
