My wife and I stayed here for four nights on our tour of western BC. I will start with the good points of this property. The location can't be beat; right on the lake and a short walk to the beach, many restaurants, shopping, etc. The grounds and common areas are really nice and well kept. Our room was very spacious and we had a nice view of the lake. Check in was quick and staff seemed very helpful. There is a little store on site with a Starbucks which was very handy. pricing was ridiculous in my opinion: $ 5 for a donut and $ 12 for a small fruit cup? As others have mentioned, parking is $ 30 / night which is a little steep for a small town (we paid less in downtown Vancouver) and the resort fee is a joke. You have to pay it whether you use the amenities or not, so for us, our $ 80 (four days at $ 20 / day) got us two free cans of beer and $ 20 off a very mediocre meal in the restaurant. I think they'd be far better off burying the $ 20.00 into the price of the room. The disappointments: air conditioner in our room was very loud, furnishing were a bit dated and showing some age and the wifi was slow; almost unusable at times. At nearly $ 2,600 for 4 nights, parking, taxes, resort fees and one sub-par meal included, everything about your stay should be exceptional. If back in Kelowna, we would definitely consider staying here again, based mainly on location.

Everything is good. The service is too bad. And this check-in and check-out time is really not normal Must check in after five o'clock and check out before ten o'clock The point is that this hotel will deduct money randomly! Be careful not to choose this hotel But I feel that this ghost place should be very difficult for anyone besides me to book this hotel with Ctrip. The view of this hotel is very nice. The pool is also very beautiful and big The service is really bad and it's a rogue level I drove from Banff to the hotel which drove for more than four hours and arrived at 10:30 in the evening. Then when I checked in, I told me to ask for a deposit of two hundred Canadian dollars for the pre-sale right I gave her a credit card. Then I took a look at my online banking. More than 320 detained... I asked him what the other one hundred and more were. I didn’t admit it to death. I showed him the voucher. She saw it for five minutes and told me that it was indeed the detained by their company, but she didn’t know what it was. Then I went to the room and started. I was entangled with Ctrip until about 1 a.m. and didn’t even go for a swim. I originally booked this hotel for swimming. Then I told me to give me a reply at 9 in the morning. I woke up naturally at 8:30 in the morning. Wait for the reply. Then tell me The hotel did not deduct my money. It only held me two hundred.... Then I sent the voucher to Ctrip and asked what it was. Then I went to verify it for two hours. During this period, I asked if I could check out later. I was told that it was delayed. There is a tax of 45 USD and 50 room charge. We must leave before ten o'clock and then at half past ten the hotel will come and drive us away, saying that we will not be delayed if we add money. I also told me that there are new guests who want to check in. I'm really It’s too bad. I asked you if the hotel can only check in after five o’clock? You don’t have to draft a lie? I’m really drunk. The service staff in this hotel are like the bandits. At 11 o’clock, Ctrip came to the customer service and told me to verify it. It’s an extra authorization... I really am Spit up. Since I authorized you to tell me in advance! Say two hundred. I deducted more than three hundred and didn’t admit it at the beginning. At the end, I told me that it was all I authorized. I didn’t have the money to hold for you. It’s just that I didn’t do business like this. I told people to hold two hundred and the result was more than three hundred. . Why don't you hold more than 30,000! Said it would be refunded to me within seven working days. It is one thing to refund to me. Your behavior is wrong. Breaking the hotel’s service policy is simply a banditry logic. If you rob someone of your family’s forcible death, you won’t admit it. In the end, all the evidence is displayed. I told me that it was an extra authorization. So why didn't you admit it at first, you are a broken hotel. It's really annoying. It's a big one! And I forgot to say. Why would you give me a two-bedroom suite for my one-bedroom suite? I don’t understand. Did you sell my room? I rely on Why do I need such a big room? My girlfriend and I sleep in separate beds, right? Vomit really The hotel is dying. It’s the same as the room for an 80-90-year-old man. I’m really sorry to have this hotel. I slept for five or six hours at 1,000 yuan. I was held for more than 1,500... Tour. I vomit. The experience is terrible. I came out to travel and encountered this kind of black spot hotel bandit hotel and encountered this kind of bandit customer service staff.

Stayed for the first time August 2022, room 296. This is now my favourite hotel in Kelowna, I will be coming back every year and staying here. The staff were incredibly fun and friendly, all the common areas were fun to be in. This is not a pretentious hotel, we were smiling the entire time, but the fun vibe in no way sacrificed the service, the service was phenomenal. The staff seems to really love their city and really seemed to love their jobs. The location was perfect to downtown everything was in walking distance and they have bikes if you wanna venture a little further. Roof top deck was the ideal spot to watch the sunsets, the roof top deck had comfy furniture and plenty of room. We looked at the ping pong room and is a perfect spot for kids, we didn’t have time to take advantage of this space but again was a fun room and seemed like a great spot for the kids/teens. Our room was very clean and well decorated, again it was just fun. Working rotary phones were just the icing on the top. We had a great spot to sit outside our room and enjoy the complementary coffee every morning. I recommend the second or third floor room for a nice morning sitting spot. If I had to say what could be improved I would say the TV should be on the wall, it sat on the desk and was hard to see if you were lying down, and it had two remotes, but we didn’t really come here to watch tv so not a huge deal. Other item that it would be nicer if the water pressure for the shower was higher, but again not bad enough that I would not return. Parking lot is tight, so if you have a big truck you’d want to park it out back. All in all, I’d give the hotel an 11 out of 10, no question we will now be coming back year after year. Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect ambiance…it was just the perfect getaway for us.

Very clean room, great staff, and excellent location for enjoying downtown. Indoor pool and hot tub were a nice break. The room had a mini fridge (for drinks and leftovers) and a microwave and single cup coffee maker (ask for extra coffee pouches). One side faces the main road through town and might be a little loud for some folks, the other side is on the alley (still a decent view). some rooms face the lake and the park. Parking cost $15 per night but is handy and fairly secure.

Its a short walk to pubs and activities or if your feeling a bit lazy, even shorter bus ride! Deffinitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay!

We stayed here earlier (when it was known as Kelowna Inn & Suites) and came back to stay here again after the name changed to what it is now. We loved the room we stayed before and wanted to stay in the same room. The front desk personnel were nice enough to let us have the room that we were almost sure to have stayed in several years ago. The room appeared renovated as it no longer had the jacuzzi. We had no issues with that as absence of the jacuzzi made the large room appear more spacious despite the furniture in the room. Out of the furniture what we didn’t like was the round table. It was flimsy and somewhat unstable. The breakfast time period (6am – 10am) was very useful particularly for those who wanted to leave early in the morning. A hearty self-serve breakfast was offered that consisted of cereals, breads, bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, butter, cheese, honey and an assortment of jam/jelly. We liked the breakfast. This hotel provided good value for money and we enjoyed our stay here again !

This is a great place to stay for a very reasonable rate. I booked and stayed at the Recreation Inn for 8 nights. My room was very clean and comfortable. I had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. All the amenities were supplied - hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Coffee and tea as well as juice and a continental breakfast each morning. Very friendly staff who were ready to help with any problem. Laundry on site as well. Excellent location, being close to all shopping and restaurants. A great experience.

I stayed at the Kelowna Super 8 for a longer term stay as we have just moved to Canada. My stay was pleasant and the beds were comfortable but I wasn't overly impressed with the property or some of the policies that I faced during my stay. The rooms were VERY dated and although they were clean, the property is definitely in need of an upgrade. The state of the property unfortunately is not the reason for my poor rating. When I checked in, my experience started poorly as I was told that instead of the typical $200 room deposit, the property was going to charge me $500 instead because I was going to stay there longer term (10 days) - 1st negative Then I was told that if I wanted to change my linens, I would PERSONALLY have to ***** my bed and bring the towels and linens to the front desk where I would then need to collect new linens and MAKE MY OWN bed. For the cost of my stay this is unacceptable! - 2nd Huge Negative I fully understand that it is important to minimize contact in order to protect your staff from exposure to COVID but, there are other ways to manage this in a property of your size! I offered to let the front desk know when I was going to be away from my room during the day (I have just started a new job with Interior Health with BC Cancer.) but was told that if I wanted my room cleaned while I was staying onsite I would need to pack up and move to a new room. - 3rd negative As I mentioned, I have just arrived from Australia to start a new job and had 3 bags with me while waiting for our temporary accommodation to become available in October. Moving rooms was not only a huge inconvenience but completely unacceptable given that I was staying for a long term in the hotel. Lastly, I was charged up front for my entire 10-day stay. While this in and of itself is not a massive issue, I have travelled globally and have NEVER been charged for a 10-day hotel stay until the end of my visit. I was made to feel like a degenerate instead of a valued patron as I was told the billing was made in case I didn't pay my bill at the end of my stay??? Your team, along with all other hotels in my booking experience took a copy of my credit card and identification when I checked in, additionally, you have my address, phone number and email contact information from my reservation. How is it that I am purportedly not meant to pay for my stay if you have these personal details on file? Again, my complaint about this is based more on principle...

The podium where I live today has a very large room. There is an extra wash basin in the room. It is good not to interfere with the people who use the toilet. There is a small refrigerator without a microwave, but the sound insulation is extremely poor, minus points. I will live in the main building tomorrow and compare the evaluation. The price/performance ratio is still high.

I stay here when I come to visit family, and usually, it's great. This time I'm not feeling the love No mobile key available - had to phone to ask where it was. Hotel did not reach out to advise it wasn't available although there had been known Issues Asked for a room on a lower floor one week before reservation and told when I checked in there were none available, which is I believe due to the mobile key not being available on time. Front desk staff not accommodating at all about it. Microwave in room unplugged Stain on the bed Beds hard as a rock I'm probably being a bit picky because I'm used to such a great experience. Pretty disappointed this time but the duck made me feel better

Brand new, tons of parking, great customer service, breakfast served the staff due to COVID and which was surprisingly good especially for a hotel breakfast, there was work/study nooks and tons of breakfast seating on main floor. Everything was clean, the location is nice as a lot of new construction has taken place nearby. Mini fridge & microwave in room. Nice bathroom amenities and charging ports throughout the room. Desk chair comfortable enough and height adjustable. Only “con” was one of the blankets in our room had a lot of holes and a friend had some staining or (perhaps iron or dryer marks?) on her sheets. I’d happily stay here again.

We just stayed here with a sports team. The hotel seemed to be pretty full, quite busy, but all our staff interactions were really positive. Staff were friendly and helpful and never made you feel overly rushed. They helped our group through the booking process as some got confused, and they applied great common sense to anticipate things and present solutions. There are a couple decor pieces that need an update, mostly I’d say a poor install job during construction of trims and doors, however, rooms were very clean and that’s what matters when staying in a hotel. Athletes found the provided breakfast to have enough options and be truly satisfying in the morning to start their day, and parents enjoyed the attentiveness of staff to ensure hot fresh coffee was always available. I have stayed in a few other hotels in Kelowna and this is the only one I’d go back to. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! First with the one negative comment: The bed was extremely firm, which was not good for my bad back as I have a physical disability.. Now to all the positives: When I arrived, I discovered they had put me in a room on the third floor and there is no elevator. I explained my physical situation and they were very kind and quick to find me an accessible room on the first floor. They then went above and beyond to help me unload all my luggage from my car and bring it into the room! The staff here are incredibly friendly, kind and helpful! The roo. Was very spacious and clean! The continental breakfast, while not the most fancy food, had a large selection to choose from (hot and cold) and was more than sufficient to start each day with! Last, but certainly not least, their pool and hottub are phenomenal ( totally alleviated the back pain from the firm bed! It is open 9am-10pm, so I could enjoy it multiple times throughout the day! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I am sure I'll be back!

My husband and I needed a place to crash after my best friends' wedding. I arrive at 3:50pm for check-in and the woman behind the desk says ”Check-in is at 4pm - so in 10 minutes” a little shocked by her response I go outside to wait. My husband who was not in the wedding arrived separately and went into the lobby through a different door assuming I'd be checking in - he sees some other people checking in and so he decides to get in line behind them. This is all still before 4pm. She must have started checking people in as soon as I left for her to be almost done checking in the people ahead of my husband by the time he got in line. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfy enough. No problem with our actual stay. Just a very unfortunate beginning. Then, after checking out with a very grumpy other front desk worker the next morning, we realized we forgot something in the room. We called in and were promptly told that we were not allowed back into the building once we had checked out, and that IF anything is found, housekeeping will bring it to the front desk at the end of their day - which we all know, is 4pm. We don't live in town, and we explained as much, and would really like to just retrieve it now. The front desk staff told us there's nothing they can do and again IF (not when) anything is found, we can call back at the end of the day to see if it's turned up at the front desk and organize for it to be mailed to us. Of course we didn't trust this very inhospitable front desk staff at this point to do anything of the sort, so we drove back to the hotel and housekeeping retrieved our item for us with no issue. Could not believe the level of hostility from the front desk at every opportunity. Would NEVER return, and never recommend anybody stay there unless there's literally no other option.

Driving from Vancouver to a small town in Banff & quot; Kelowna & quot; Very loving town. The hotel chose Fairfield Inn under the Marriott Group and was satisfied. From parking in a dedicated hotel area to check-in reception It was all very pleasant. The front desk staff's inquiries and questions are very good. There are also introductions to hotel equipment and facilities. The room is tidy and the size of the room is very satisfied. Good. I recommend staying at this hotel in Kelowna. Driving across the street is a variety of large supermarkets. It is about a 10-minute drive to the urban town. The surrounding area is actually very convenient.

Friendly staff, free breakfast and clean/secure spaces. What more could you want for $28-$60 a night! Plus there is towel service and plenty of space to hangout. Want to go out? Its a short walk to pubs and activities or if your feeling a bit lazy, even shorter bus ride! Deffinitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay!

This is a newer hotel in Kelowna, right along BC 97 near the intersection with BC 33. The rooms are clean, and the hotel's enhanced pandemic protocols are evident - hand sanitizers in common areas. Breakfast is surprisingly not bagged, as in most hotels now because of the pandemic. It's set up more like a pantry, with sanitizers in the food counters. There's a pancake maker, which is a pleasant surprise since a lot of the hotels with breakfast no longer offer this breakfast favorite since the pandemic began. Service is very good as well.

Stayed for a month. When I booked the room in advance, I was told it would be $1500 plus $500 for deposit. When I arrived, they told me it was $1800. I’m from Ontario, so I had no choice but to pay extra. They insisted they told me that was the price but it’s false. I had a unpleasant surprise when they called me on the 28th day and asked if I was checking out. There’s 30 days in a month last time I checked, but not according to these guys. I was happy to pay an extra $300 to stay at a proper hotel for my last 2 nights, this place is the absolute worst stay experience I’ve ever had. They do not care about you. They have no pride in their work or business. You can tell this is just about the money to them, nothing more. Do not stay here. Rooms are dirty, they don’t do daily service and when they do they use the old sheets and blankets. They’re completely unorganized. We ran out of toilet paper one day and asked for a spare roll, they flat out denied us. They told us it wasn’t their responsibility to provide that. The steps going up to the second floor are EXTREMELY slippery, both me AND my girlfriend slipped and fell down their stairs, my girlfriend is covered in bruises from her fall. The staff simply didn’t care. If I could vote zero stars I would. All of the good reviews are either bots, fake accounts or related to the owners. Absolutely trash motel, do not waste your money here.

Kelowna is disgusting. Agressive drug addicts everywhere. There was a bucket with approximately 50 cigarette buts on our balcony. Clearly the staff smokes there. We moved it to the hallway. Then noticed it had returned on another balcony. Terrible overpriced restaurants. Very disappointed. I won't return. The wine tours were nice.

It is a motel feeling, convenient transportation, just on the edge of the highway, a small two-story building, ample parking, and a deposit of 300 Canadian dollars when you check in, this is the first time you have encountered.
