The location of the hotel is excellent, walking to the Grand Palace/Temple of the Reclining Buddha/Wharf. There are 7-11 and foreign currency exchange points near the hotel. I accidentally discovered that you can walk to the largest flower wholesale market in Bangkok for about 20 minutes. Flowers are listed in the stalls like vegetables.

It takes half an hour to drive to the IMPACT exhibition hall. The hotel is relatively large. There are not many snack bars nearby. The breakfast is good and there are many choices. Extra beds are particularly small and adults sleep less. There is an ant inexplicably in the hotel, take it back, eat more ants, the service is good

I stayed in this Hostel for 2 nights and it was the best sleep at all, the beds are really good, the pillow and the sheets are really soft, I love it! The area is quiet and very close to the Khao San Road (just 5min walk). The rooms are good isolated so you can't hear anything from outside. You can definitely see that the whole building is completely new. The facilities are very clean and I really like the shower (first time that you really able to choose between cold and warm and I mean cold cold) The staff is really friendly and always there to help. I could leave my luggage there for 4 days because I went to Phuket and I said I will come back after my little trip to Phuket, to stay here 2 more nights. I stayed in more hostels here around Bangkok and I have to say this one is by far my favorite. It's definitely not a party hostel, but If you looking for something quiet, this is probably the best opportunity for a small budget. Go for it! Trust me. Cheers

Time Sabai 134 is a very good place to stay. It beats all the expections of a hostel. It is pretty new. Located along the bank of Chao Phraya river. It has a very beautiful garden interior with hammocks and commonplace to hang out. The hostel was clean and the bed quality was good. Free tea/coffee available all the time. The staff were really good too. They were helpful as well. Its walkable distance from Khaosan road. Its value for money. I really enjoyed my time at the desk outside facing the river.

After reading this review, I was worried about such and other problems, but after seeing the place, the hotel environment was very good and very new, because I stayed in the hotel for two nights and did not go to the pool and other facilities to experience. The front desk service is good, and there is no barriers to communication in English. And after I asked about going to Erawan Shrine, I wrote a small note. I ’m afraid the driver ca n’t speak English.

After our 16-hour-journey from Germany to Bangkok we decided to stay in the Shanti Lodge for four nights. If you prefer living in a quiet, authentic neighborhood but at the same time central - Shanti Lodge is the perfect place for you. Within a twenty-minutes-walk you find yourself on Bangkok‘s most famous road for backpackers, the Khao San Road. For those who do not want to walk, it‘s possible to take a boat that takes about 5-10 minutes to the city center. The boat station is about five minutes away from the Hotel. In general we would recommend to use the boat to get to the temples, markets ecc (it‘s a cheap and fun way to see Bangkok). The neighborhood of Shanti Lodge offers several possibilities to eat. There are a lot of local street food places to experience the extraordinary Thai cuisine. The food at the Shanti Lodge is delicious as well - especially breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and cosy, the hotel has a laundry service. Moreover I would like to emphasize the positive, cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and lobby (there are a lot of plants)! Summarized: Shanti Lodge is the perfect place to stay for a few days Bangkok!!

Generally speaking, I feel very good, and the internal environment of the hotel is clean and comfortable. There are styles, it is very convenient to go to Khao San Road, the Grand Palace, and the Reclining Buddha Temple. There is a 1 Michelin star restaurant near the hotel and I tried it and it was OK, especially the pineapple fried rice. The price is not too expensive. Generally speaking, the geographical environment of the hotel is very good. Friends who want to visit the above attractions can book this hotel. I stayed for two days. The only thing I felt was a bit surprised is that the hotel did not provide toothbrushes and slippers, a little regret. The pictures are the pictures of the restaurants I have been to, Khao San Road Night Market, Grand Palace, Wat Pho,

I walked in to stay there only one night. My overall experience will be 10/10!!!. The reception who I believed she is the owner is very nice. Two housekeeping are very friendly. They will always help, welcome and sincere. Since PM2.5 is getting worse, I am allergic and itchy every time I stay at the hotel/hostel. (I am the hostel lover) but this time I am not! They room and common area are super clean. The location is very suitable for BTS, it takes only 2mins and even 10mins walk to get to the train to airport. This is my new favorite destination. You must visit!

There is a parking lot, there are convenience stores nearby, and there is an old food market. We use Grab taxi software to go out, about 200 from the hotel to the Siam business district. The overall environment is OK. The room has a small balcony, which is a floor-to-ceiling window. Household noise is not very good, such as the high quality of sleep requirements need to be cautious, the overall cost is relatively high.

150 taxis from Don Mueang Airport to the hotel. In the deepest part of an alley, there is nothing nearby, and I need to buy something to get out, because I am from 11 pm to take the plane at noon the next day, so I chose this point near the airport to the hotel, nor Be considered a hotel, similar to the guest house to feel. The room is small, the decoration seems to be not there, the double bed does not feel 1.5 meters, one side is next to the window, the bathroom is small, and only one person can enter. In particular, the air conditioner is not an ordinary noise, as if something inside is blocking it, it is buzzing and loud. Breakfast is buffet style, not many styles but with fruit and bread. I won't choose here when I get off.

I booked this hotel just 1 night. The location is great (near Wat Arun) and BTS train. So warm welcome and the room is so clean. They also have a coffee shop at the ground floor, haven't try yet but look good with simple, nice design. This place is so quite and great for sleep. Just one thing don't like that they don't set up any Tivi on the room. Will come back for next time. Thanks!

If you're looking to stay near Khao San road and the tourist sites but removed from the seedy aspect, this hostel is a wonderful option. The hostel is new and very clean and very, very well taken care of with plenty of amenities. Homey and not a party scene at all. Plus the staff were friendly. I was in a 4 bed dorm and the only one in there on my second night. Really great set up with tons of storage. Comfortable mattress with a privacy curtain and A/C that's not full blast. Super generous breakfast with eggs, meats, yogurt (!!!), cereal, juice, bananas plus good snacks including bars available 24/7. And you can relax in the dining area or in the lounge space in the entry area. Plenty of places to eat within a few blocks. The direct 50 Baht bus from Don Muang Airport stops nearby. Near city buses and ferries. For BKK, I did bus plus subway.

Chatuchak Weekend Market
I found this place by chance just when I was loosing hopes! I was soooo tired but determined to spend my last 2 nights in modern BKK in a place convenient enough for the chatuchack market (the morning after I walked there) and for public transport to go to the airport. Slumwhite hostel was just perfect! The owners welcomed me very kindly and since they had availability they upgraded me to a larger room at the same very good price. It's supposed to be a hostel but to me it looked like a little charming guest house with a bar! The environment is music related and jazz is played from a US Seattle radio station all day long in the background. The managers are young and therefore motivated: they personally took care of the decoration and of the food cooked in the restaurant kitchen. You can view of FB the video they posted about Slumwhite hostel building and restoring: they are lovely! My room had all the comfort, hairdryer included (you always have to think that this is a hostel!). I strongly recommend it!

Before you go, be sure to check the mailbox and he will give you the access code. The location is a bit hard to find, using Google Maps. Opposite is the 7-11 convenience store, which is a snack street. It’s OK to fall asleep, that is, the toilet is a little small, and the room I live in does not reach the sun, so there will be mosquitoes. Be sure to buy mosquito repellent. It is best to bring a small lock, personal advice.

We booked a double room for 2 nights on booking.com. They advertised it as a 16m2 room and the photos were very misleading. The room we received when we arrived was about 4m2 and the bed was a thin mattress on the ground. As we checked in late we waited until the next morning to inform the receptionist of this error. He responded by saying the big rooms as advertised were full and we simply just had to stay in the small room for the same price. We eventually reached a conclusion of getting a refund for the second night and checking out early. We still had to end up paying full price for the smaller than advertised room for the first night which is essentially a scam and I would not recommend staying here. We eventually received an apology right before we left which is why I am giving this accommodation a 1/5 instead of a 0/5

First of all, as soon as I entered the hotel, I felt that the decoration of the hotel was gorgeous and generous, and the service at the front desk was very good. When I went to the room, I felt like I was living in a car, there were large windows to see the outside view, and the light in the room was very bright. What I did not expect was that the hotel bed was comfortable and large, and A large work desk, the wet and dry isolation of the toilet is well done. Breakfast is also very rich and there are many types. It is about 15 minutes drive to the night market of Ratchada train. I went shopping with my friends at night. It is a veritable internet celebrity check-in place and eats a lot. Fortunately, I did not step on the thunder this time!

I can't say enough good things about the Supara, it's owner and staff. From the moment I arrived in Bangkok, it felt like home away from home. The people are really nice and super helpful especially if you got dropped in a big city like Bangkok for the first time. Besides the food from the restaurant (Little Chef) is great! And always served with a smile. :) The Supara has done an amazing job in making the appartments comfortable and well designed . It is really special if you consider the fact that you can have a beautiful premise in a beautiful location and still set yourself miles apart with an amazing staff and wonderful service. As I said, the rooms are comfortable and well designed, all including A/C and comfortable showers. In my opinion the best part of the Supara (or Sivalai Place) is the rooftop terrace. Almost every night I got up there to meet with some friends or just enjoy the amazing view of the skyline of Bangkok by myself. The rooftop feels like a quite tempel in comparison to the big and (sometimes)messy city of Bangok. I would like to thank the Supara for an amazing stay during my study time in Thailand. And I promise that I will definitely visit you again when I come back to Bangkok one day. :)
