Hotels Near Food Gallery In Naples
0.04km from Food GalleryI had a great stay here 10 years ago and was excited to return. The little hotel is splendid but please bear in mind it is up on the fourth floor with a ancient small lift. I found that quite charming. They put me in a new extension of the hotel, but I think I would have preferred to be in the older part nearer reception. Being based in the Galleria is absolutely amazing, sometimes you might hear someone outside but I had no issues with the noise. So this properly is for people who enjoy atmosphere and character. The ladies at breakfast are super nice, and there is a great choice, I looked forward to breakfast every day. It might be me but ten years ago all communications in the hotel and reception were just a bit more friendly and cheerful. They also used to bring out drinks every evening at 6pm or so... They don't do that anymore. They left a note one night inviting me for a drink - so we went up...but they charged me for it on check out... not a huge issue, just not quite as friendly as in the past. Still it is a real treat to stay here and I do recommend.

0.05km from Food GalleryVery clean and tidy hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast had a great selection and as expected the espresso was perfect. The room was well equipped with a lovely shower in the large bathroom, and a view on to the busy via Toledo. Great place to people watch! Location meant we could head to the old town or the coast easily. Staff were kind enough to let us have breakfast early on the last day as we had an early flight to catch. Disliked · Being on a main street meant there was a lot of over night noise from outside but it was also a festival weekend, so to be expected for such a central location.

0.06km from Food GalleryWe booked a suite for a couple. The room and bed were huge and comfy. Everything was modern and spotless. Tasteful decor. Cool mood lighting bathroom (or disco-light shower if you're my boyfriend). Only issue: water pressure variable, but still good enough to wash my hair, so I'm not moaning (it is a hotel, and this does happen in the morning at most hotels!). Useful little touches like USB charging points for phones. We had a little balcony and the glazing and heavy wooden doors stopped all noise and light from the busy Via Toledo at night. Perfect location to get out and about in Naples - to the historic centre, the sea, shopping, and authentic Naples streets. You rarely get an "English" Breakfast in Italy and I struggle with places that only offer pastries, fruit, bread, and cereal as I have reactive hypoglycemia and can't eat sugar or carbs. But there were meat cold cuts and cheese for me, and eggs to order. There were also little cakes (boyfriend said they were delicious), and yogurt, and even a "vegan" section, so really something for everyone. From arrival to departure, the staff were lovely: friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Full stars for the housekeeping as well. We had tea and coffee-making facilities and they replaced the used complimentary sachets as well as the toiletries, and even folded my PJs neatly! Overall, a really lovely stay. Thank you for having us Caruso :)

0.07km from Food GalleryDeserves at least four star as hotel ranking. Nice large bed. Large room. Tall ceiling (maybe 4 m). You even get two showers! And the personnel is nice and helpful. Good location. Quiet and secure at night.
0.07km from Food GalleryWe stayed here for 2 nights. After walking into the building, the elevator tells you which floor the B&B is on. After getting through the crazy that is Naples, we walked in to quiet and calm. They have a beautiful eating area inside and out with ample breakfast choices. Our room was quiet, clean and large ! The air conditioning worked perfectly. We had a private balcony overlooking the street which was wonderful for reading or relaxing. There are great cafes and restaurants from the moment you step out! We loved everything about our stay!
0.08km from Food GalleryMy partner and I were amidst a bit of a whirlwind tour of Europe and after deciding to change plans, found ourselves stranded without accommodation. After referring to trip advisor and other means of advice, we found this place. The price is very good and the location is fantastic. After being in Naples a few days before, we knew exactly where it was and what was around it. It’s only a 10 minute or so walk from the port where the Alibus drops you from the airport. As we were carrying heavy backpacks, this we were thankful for. The port being so close was also a massive plus as we are heading to Capri tomorrow. The best pizzerias, patisseries and restaurants are all a short stroll away including Brandi (the birthplace of the Margherita pizza), the famous coffee and cake shop Caffe Gambrinus and Trattoria Pizzeria La Lazzara which I have a soft spot for. The view from breakfast is stunning as this hotel is inside the Galleria Umberto. We had to check in via the Galleria Umberto resort as it was after 3pm but this is also inside the same centre so not a drama. The entrance to this bnb you will find through some massive solid wood doors on the street. The signs are only little so keep your eyes peeled. The air con inside the room is really good which is a must in this heat and the rooms are quite large with really high ceilings and old fashioned decor. We woke late and thought breakfast finished at 1030 but when we arrived there at 0945 realised quickly it ended at 10am. That didn’t bother the lovely lady working in the breakfast room and she served us and made us feel there was no time limit. Would definitely come back.
0.08km from Food GalleryMy boyfriend and I stayed at Napoliclass for just one night before continuing down the coast to Sorrento and it was great place to stay. It's in a great location: on a central street with lots of shops around and close enough to have an easy walk to the water. As Naples is a bigger city, it is not walking distance to the train station, although I would advise not staying near the train station anyway as that area is a bit more run down and farther away from central Naples/ Naples attractions. A taxi ride to Napoliclass from the train station is about €14 and Napoli class is more than willing to arrange a private car for you if you'd like. When you get there, just buzz the Napoliclass buzzer to be let into the building and it is up on the second floor (something that is very common with smaller hotels in Europe.) If you plan on arriving after 8pm make sure you email the staff letting them know that you wish to do a late check in. Overall Napoliclass was very hospitable. They have lots of coffee and pastries laid out for you to snack on throughout the day and let me and my boyfriend leave our stuff behind the desk after check out until our night train later that day. They even gave us a spare set of keys to use the facilities as we pleased throughout the day after we checked out which was great. Overall, would stay at Napoliclass again.
0.09km from Food GalleryI feel bad to leave a bad review because the staff is super nice and they really try to do their best, but this is not a four stars hotel and whoever designed it probably never stayed at a hotel. The shower is extremely small and it floods the "bathroom" since there is not enough space for the water to drain. There are very few sockets, the only ones next to the beds are the ones for the bedside table lamps, so you have to choose to charge your phone or turn on the lamp. The TV is small for the size of the bedroom and distance of the bed and there is a lack of mirrors. I love the way they display the breakfast because it avoids food being wasted, but I believe some people can be disappointed with the lack of choices. There is almost no noise isolation, every time someone rang downstairs for them to open the gate, I would wake up during the night. They made me leave my key when I left the hotel, and when I was back, I just said the room number and they returned, no questions asked, which makes me wonder about security since the person who gave me back the keys, had never seen me in the hotel before. Finally, when I was checking out, their employee didn't know how to operate the card machine and I had to wait for his colleague to wake up and get dressed to come and help, I waited around 15 minutes and almost missed my flight. I also have to add that they forgot to charge me for the hotel night and charged me only for the city tax. When I arrived home, I was surprised with an email from them asking for my credit card details - not professional at all, who sends credit card details over emails? After a long trail of emails they provided me with a paypal account and I could pay. Again, everyone at the hotel is really nice, they just need to be a bit more business oriented.
0.12km from Food GalleryThe Casa Mariella is a great option if you just want to experience Naples in one day. Like the others said, it was a bit difficult to find at first. It is located in a small street, near the liquor store in the corner. Look up and you will see the sign of the place. All in all the location is excellent - everything is near: shops, historical monuments and churches, harbour.. We came there in the evening and the host showed us the room, helped with the luggage and gave us a map of the city. He also gave us great tips of some restaurants nearby. It was really helpful because we only had a short stay. He also mentioned that it is possible to leave your luggage there after the check out. The room was nicely equipped: own toilet and shower, towels, shower cap, sun lotion, hair dryer etc. There was a fridge outside the room if you wanted something to drink. The breakfast in the morning was simple, but tasty. We want to thank the hosts for the amazing hospitality!
Hotels Near Food Gallery In Naples Review
The location is very good, opposite the egg castle and the sea, the breakfast is completely sea view, blowing the sea breeze, feeling great! The breakfast was quite rich, and the cup of Italian condensed was a bit amazing, and I never liked to drink coffee. Although Napoli's construction of the whole city is quite old, it feels good. Because I went to Capri Island to return to the ticket time, I missed the hotel that was temporarily set back to the Rome train. The friend recommended it, said the global chain, because the ship arrived at the shore near ten o'clock at night, so there is no sea view room. The only bad episode was to take a taxi to the hotel at night. The driver received 20 Euros and 10 Euros. If the hotel was in the daytime, the hotel would only be 15 Euros. The German husband of the friend said that it was a tip at night. explained. 🙄
Hotel Guiren is a perfect place to stay in Napels if your just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night. If you are going out exploring then this hotel is very suitable. The room had great air conditioning unit and a good working shower. The double bed was two single beds put together, and was not comfortable but done what we needed. The bathroom consisting of a shower cubical, sink, toilet and bidet.Considering we had a balcony onlooking the main road, which is extrememly noisy when the doors were closed it was surprisingly very quiet. Hotel guiren is about 3 minute walk to train, metro and bus stations. The staff that we met were all very friendly and gave information on places to visit and how to get there. However as per the website, there is no bar and no lift. Many reviews we read before we went to Napels were saying how terrible the hotel was, but we actually found it fine. And as for the area, well Napels is a beautiful city.Yes there is a lot of grafitti everywhere.Yes it is dirty. And yes there are alot of migrants. But they caused no problem and were either polite upon speaking or kept themselves to themselves. If you are looking to visit Napels you must look past the dirt and grafitti as it has so much going for it. So many beautiful historic places...Pompii, Herculaneum, Archeological museum, Mount Vesuvius, San Severro chapel, Bourbon tunnels, Royal palace and so much more. We had an amazing holiday,so be open minded and enjoy the beautiful city of Napels
The absolute best thing about B&B Hotel Napoli is its location – no more than 5 minutes’ walk from Naples Central Station (and the Alibus stop for the airport bus) and about 10-15 minutes’ walk to the historic centre. As other reviewers have pointed out, in addition to the convenient location, B&B Hotel Napoli is great value and offers everything a traveller needs: friendly 24-hour reception, clean, well-maintained rooms, secure keypad entry, good air-conditioning, fast wifi, in-room safe, nice hot shower, comfortable bed etc. I also liked the contemporary décor and the high ceiling, which made my room feel spacious. I did not pay for the hotel breakfast as there were plenty of eateries, cafes and pastry shops nearby and of course in the historic centre. For a good coffee and even better sfogliatella, I highly recommend “Cuori di Sfogliatella”, which faces the train station. I am grateful that some reviewers had expressed their concern regarding the “seediness” of the neighbourhood, which was helpful advice to solo female travellers. I agree that the piazza did not feel safe, especially at night, so I was glad to see uniformed police officers patrolling the area. There is also police presence inside the train station. Just exercise the usual precautions and you will be fine. The one major downside was the poor soundproofing. Even though my second-floor room faced the courtyard (no piazza view for me) and I did not hear any street noise, I was woken up at the crack of dawn by the guest in the next room. I could clearly hear him/her flushing the toilet, using the hairdryer etc. So, if you’re after a restful night’s sleep, it might be a good idea to ask the front desk for a soundproofed room. Also a note to those who travel with large suitcases: the hotel lift is small and slow and gets full quickly during rush hour i.e. breakfast time.
It is the second time in Naples and it is a repeater of this hotel.
As expected, it is the best at a star hotel.
The location is very close to Naples Central Station.
I arrived in Naples at 22:00, but I felt safe with the shortest travel distance even with a suitcase.
The rooms are clean, the beds are especially comfortable and you can easily oversleep.
Bathroom is luxurious using marble. Water pressure is enough.
Breakfast is also rich and delicious, and eats too much from morning. Sfogliatella in the photo was also delicious.
We had you call taxi after check-out, but came immediately.
This hotel is a favorite in Naples.
I have been staying at the Grand Hotel Parker’s for a week for a business trips with little windows of time dedicated to sightseeing Bella Napoli. Wow! What a truly memorable experience. The hotel is one of those places that is the perfect blend of stately, timeless elegance with impeccable service. Dining at the Michelin starred George restaurant is an absolute must with mouthwatering dishes with a magical Neapolitan twist. My room with spectacular sea views was super comfortable and reminiscent of the grandeur of yesteryear. Great breakfast buffet and flawless service and the Liberty Restaurant with original period features transports you back in time. Great food and I really loved the wine which is directly from the wine cellars of the owners . And the views ...magnificent to say the very least. After a busy day I really appreciated the oasis of calm of the hotel which is in a great location, within walking distance of Naples’ best but far enough away to recharge your batteries from the delightful hustle and bustle that is the historic Centre of Napoli. The best part of my trip was undoubtedly the staff here : a perfect mix of professionalism and Neapolitan hospitality and heart. I would highly recommend the concierge service: Marco and Vincenzo are without a doubt the best concierges I have ever met. A personalized trip around Naples escorted by the elegant, knowledgeable concierges who make you feel like absolute royalty is something that I will remember forever...I can’t wait to come back.
I booked a triple room even though I was alone because I didn't want my room to be tiny. for me as a solo traveler the room size was O.K. but I'm not sure how 3 people could feel in this room which is not generous size. the position is perfectly fine, about 3 minutes walk from the Alibus stop and the main train station. also porta nolana can be reached easily by foot from the hotel. the breakfast was reasonable, typical continental breakfast in a 3 stars hotel in Europa. the Wifi speed was fast and the signal quite strong. The heating in the room worked well. some drawbacks: no electric kettle in the room and no minibar. I recommend to bring a small electric kittle from home if you go there. only one standard european socket in the room, the rest can be used only for thin plugs. all in all my stay was ok, taking in account the drawbacks mentioned above.
