Hotels Near Foodilic In London
0.04km from FoodilicThe younger brother at the front desk was very embarrassed. I did n’t try breakfast, but this place is still very easy to find. King x can be found within 150 meters after walking to the left.
I could n’t get in at the beginning. The roommate inside helped me open the door very well and also told me that the new keys are not easy to open. I could ask the front desk clerk to change it because I was a train at five in the morning, so I I left at about 4 o'clock ~ I took a break for about 3 and a half hours, and I feel the price / performance ratio is still high ~~

0.16km from FoodilicThe location is very, very good, just across the road from King's Cross Station. It is very convenient to get up early to catch the train late. Not too noisy near the main street. The room is enough, the elevator is so small, only one suitcase and one person can be transported at a time.
0.2km from FoodilicThe development of the UK is hundreds of years earlier than us. Therefore, many houses are old and private. They will not be dug up and repaired by the government all day long. Therefore, if you look at the problem, you will not compare it with your own. Say the hotel, the service is general, because many do not speak English, rude, never ask the good morning tourists to obliterate their natural courtesy in the advanced education environment. The room is small, it is clean, the window can be opened, there is an elevator upstairs, there is McDonald's downstairs, and there is a supermarket 50 meters away. The King’s subway station is just across the road, and you have to cross the road with a traffic light.
0.21km from FoodilicThe location is superior, that is, WC men and women share... Staying for one night is OK, admire people who can live continuously! The bed was very clean, and I went into a room like a refugee camp... The girls at the front desk were absolutely absent-minded, and the male front desk was much better. Storage of luggage is not safe in one room. Everyone has it. The doorways are all squatting. . .
0.23km from FoodilicI stayed for 3 nights. Very friendly and accommodating owner, and a fantastic free full English buffet breakfast. As other people have said, the rooms are small, so take that into account. Personally I didn't mind, as I was travelling alone. My room was clean and staff came by every day to change bins and towels, though the shared shower could have done with a little more cleaning. (Tip: have a shower in the early evening, when there's more hot water.) There were workmen painting and replacing the wallpaper during my stay, presumably because it was the middle of the tourism off-season. All the same, I didn't detect much noise. I was allowed to keep my extra luggage in the locked office downstairs. All in all, I'd certainly stay again if the opportunity arose. The proximity to King's Cross is very convenient and it's a clean, quiet place to sleep on a budget.
0.24km from FoodilicThe guy on reception was very pleasant. The price was good, got this on a late availability so cannot complain about the price. However, if I had been paying full price I would not have been very happy.
I checked in and went to the single room I had booked, the room had not been serviced from the last occupant, bed unmade, not changed, room not cleaned etc. I went back to reception, the guy on reception had a look at the room and said housekeeping must have forgot to clean the room. I was then given a double ensuite room. The room I was given, Room 2, was down on the lower floor/basement, the bed was awful, I could feel the springs in the mattress. Shower was hot but it was a curtain affair which meant that the floor of the ensuite got very wet when I showered. I think there was an electrical problem with the hairdryer, it was ineffective and kept cutting out. On the plus side, the floor in the bedroom was wood and was clean.

0.25km from FoodilicThe hotel is not far from King's Cross Railway Station and St Pancras Railway Station, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. The hotel is very clean, the ground floor is 0 floors, it is the breakfast room and the front desk. It seems that there are some rooms... I booked the standard room on the 6th floor, which is actually the 7th floor...the elevator is very small, about two people and two boxes are full. ...but overall the elevator is very fast, so it won't wait too long... The room is very clean, no slippers are provided, the hand soap and shower gel are the same bottle, we have it, so it's useless... no toothbrush... oh for me The words are a bit high, but it is very comfortable to sleep~ In addition, the hotel breakfast is very good, self-service, including milk, egg, cereal, bread, coffee, fruit, look at each serving is not much, in fact, basically can be managed until half an afternoon ~
0.27km from FoodilicThe breakfast was good, the room was clean and tidy, but the room was small, no toiletries, no hotel infrastructure such as air conditioning, the hotel's location was excellent, the station was opposite, and there was a bar King Burger. Short stay travel is good
0.27km from FoodilicFrom King's Cross Station, follow the Google Maps navigation for about ten minutes to arrive, and the surroundings are quiet. The front desk was welcoming, and we stayed on the first floor to avoid the trouble of moving our luggage to the upper floor. After check-out, there is a free luggage storage and an aisle next to the reception. Breakfast is simple bread, cereal, coffee, milk, fruit, juice, butter, jam, but in the end it is full. Every time I passed the front desk, the waiters smiled and said hello. The three rooms we set are a combination of double bed and single bed. We can walk after the two boxes are opened, which is bigger than expected.
0.28km from FoodilicWe stayed here near the station to go to Paris in the morning Eurostar. Although it was near the station, I was a little lost because I didn't know the street of the hotel. I also looked for a restaurant where I could have dinner with my children after check-in. The hotel check-in time was 22:00 and the time was 5pm. It is a compact hotel that has everything you need and would like to use it again next time.
0.3km from Foodilic24 hour reception with Very friendly staff who let you leave your luggage for free. The rooms were very clean and excellant value for the location which was in close proximity to Kings cross station and the amazing bars and eateries in Granary square and regents canal - less tahn 5 mins walk, but yet surprisingly it was a very quiet location directly overlooking a garden square I have stayed at a number of the neighboring hotels which are far worse and more than double the price so I cannot understand why it got such poor reviews on tripadvisor . Great breakfast at an additional charge which although expensive was made to order and worth every penny. All in all a very comfortable and pleasant stay
0.3km from FoodilicThe one set for 470 yuan is on the 3rd floor. Because there is a ground floor in the UK, it is equivalent to the 4th floor. The stairwell is very small. It is very inconvenient to go up with the suitcase and there is a danger of rolling down the stairs. The toilet and bathroom above are shared. Because I still have a consignment box, I can’t move it up at all, and their front desk opens at 8 am, I have to leave at 7 am, so I can’t put it down, so I added 15 pounds and changed it to a ground floor with bathroom and toilet. room. So the room fee is about 610 in total. No food, no sooner or later. It is estimated that this space will not be able to add a bed. I don’t know what the room with children is like. The bed should be 1.2 meters wide with a window. The location is about 100 meters across from the Kings Cross subway or train station? Very close, almost no noise. I didn't drive and there was a car parked in front of me, so I didn't know the parking lot. The overall feeling is okay.
Hotels Near Foodilic In London Review
Do it yourself at home. There are also around
I chose this place to walk to the British Museum. The most basic room type may be set. The room is the size of an express hotel, but the facilities are OK and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel is extremely noisy. There are people who drink in the lobby from morning to night. I am also a person who likes to pub, but the privacy of the hotel is not satisfactory. What about the service, the reception and room service are good and very welcoming. The breakfast restaurant didn't order for half an hour. The waiter who ordered the order didn't place the order. A handsome man who seemed to be a manager quickly got the meal after getting it. It also waived the cost and gave a good comment. ps, breakfast is really hard to eat, it is the most unpleasant eggs Benedict I have ever eaten ...
My wife and I have stayed here three times now, it's the only place we'll stay when visiting London. Rooms are amazing and very stylish, beds are so comfortable and the decor not just in the rooms but throughout the hotel is very on-trend. Staff are also super helpful and lovely, they helped with our requests and enquiries before, during and after our visit. Location is also perfect - you can pretty much get anywhere worth going to in London from Shoreditch. Although the area itself (Shoreditch) has become much more gentrified over the years, the hotel still makes coming here a really worthwhile exercise
Perfect!!! In a nutshell. My wife and I have been fortunate to have stayed in some lovely hotels both in London and worldwide and the Wellesley is one of those gems. The staff are courteous, extremely professional very friendly and meticulous in the finer details even presenting my wife with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The building is beautiful, spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. We were lucky to receive a room upgrade looking across Hyde Park wow it didn't disappoint and for any cigar smokers, take a visit to the biggest humidor in Europe, it's breathtaking! Many thanks to everyone at The Wellesley, we will be back.
Close to renting children's school, not bad
As I sit here in the reception area having a satsuma for breakfast, all I fancied from the choice of breakfast goodies served on the continental breakfast bar (read side table). I am surrounded by a pathetic example of the genus 'Tourists Poorer" What makes it worse for me is that actually chose to stay here A friend and I are staying in Islington for three nights on our annual pilgrimage to the bars, eateries and tourist spots of the capital and as our normal place to stay, the Hilton in Islington were charging twice the normal rate we had decided on a cheaper option. I have fallen for the trick of actually believing the images of the smart bedrooms and booked. I can't fault the price, just over £300 for three nights but I felt really cheated when I saw the pokey ground room with added steel prison like bars on the windows just to make any ex-con feel at home. The bathroom, so small you actually could not bend over in to dry oneself. Although, the management did help out here by providing towels of the same proportion to the bathroom. They also helped by having towels with holes in to make up for the lack of air conditioning. Basically, I would not be dragged here again and if ever I book it of my own volition I should be committed. Good point, a decent TV. Bad point, a mattress from Pentenville prison, possibly bought at the same time as the bars on the windows.
On arrival, we were informed that one of the apartments we had booked had an issue. They showed us around the other available apartments and let us decide what worked best for the family. The apartments we were offered were superb and even better than that which we booked, making the stay very comfortable for a family of 4. My parents stayed in a separate apartment. The concierge was readily available and able to help when we needed it. The apartments were cleaned throughout our stay with fresh towels provided. There is a well-equipped gym in the basement. All amenities were provided included shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash. The kitchen was fully equipped with a filtered water system, Nespresso machine, etc, and hand sanitizer was provided. Televisions throughout the apartment had all channels, Netflix, and app services. Free wifi, a taxi call button, and books/brochures of where to go in London. I have two young children and they were also able to offer a high chair and stairgate, so everything felt very safe and easy. The location was superb with Hyde Park directly opposite and a short walk to Kensington High Street, Harrods, Chelsea, etc. Excellent service and we will definitely be back for another London staycation in the future. Thank you very much.
I have lived in this hotel many times in London in the past few years, and I feel at home. The bedroom and bathroom of the suite are spacious and comfortable; the public area is elegant and elegant; the staff is courteous and courteous. The restaurant on the B1 floor has changed its name and menu. The quality of the dishes is still of a high standard. It is recommended to have a chance to taste a selection of Sirloin steak and fried salmon. It is delicious!
There is nothing to say about the sanitation of the equipment. It is one of the best in the hotel. The room layout is quite satisfactory. The details of the guest rooms are highlights. There is no special place for breakfast.
Location was not easy to reach by subway with luggage, spent about an hour looking for the place so recommend to take a taxi instead. Staff was very nice and attentive, and the hotel amenities was impressive to give you a feeling of being on a boat. Would had been nice if windows in the room were able to be open. Got a nice terrace bar and restaurant to hang out!
I chose this hotel due to the very reasonable price and the proximity to the tube (Northern Line, Hampstead station, less than 5 minutes walk). Before arrival, I was communicating with Lorenzo and asking for an early check in. He was up front that it could not be guaranteed but it looked likely, and when I arrived early as planned, he was waiting for me. He kindly carried my suitcase up to the room (no elevator here) and showed me around including how to enter the building late at night, where breakfast is, etc. I had a standard double room which was fine for me traveling alone, but be aware it is very small. I think for a couple you might be better off with one of the larger rooms. The bed was comfortable and there was also a desk with a makeup mirror (loved this), a small wardrobe, kettle with tea/ coffee, 2 nightstands, and a luggage rack. There was no safe for valuables. My room faced the interior and while I had no issues with street noise, I always heard the people in the room next to me. I think the older building just has thin walls. Regardless I was able to sleep well, and there were ear plugs provided in case. I had not found any pictures of the bathroom ahead of time but was pleasantly surprised how modern it was. There was a decent sized stall shower (though water pressure was not great) and even a towel warmer. The towels were large and plush. Breakfast is included and consists of cereal, yogurt, breads, hard boiled eggs, ham, and cheese. And the best part, the amazing cappuccino! I only had breakfast there once, as I mostly had to rush to business meetings, but I got a cappuccino to go every day which Lorenzo was more than happy to provide. The neighborhood is absolutely charming, with tons of shops and restaurants at your doorstep. And as mentioned in the title of my review, the staff is just so incredibly friendly, warm, and willing to help. I can't imagine getting better service. Thanks to Lorenzo and everyone for a great stay!
This hotel is one of the branded hotels of SMART HOSTELS in London, UK. Great location in the heart of London, 1 minute from Bayswater subway station, 3 minutes from Queensway underground station, and a musical in the West End of London. It feels more relaxing... Breakfast is served, breakfast is small, but it feels nutritious Milk and honey are available. I am booking a ten-person room; I am worried that people will be noisy and sleep well; the result is like living in a room independently. The lights are off at ten o'clock in the evening. Everyone is very conscious; during the day, the room is very quiet; the hostel room Quiet slogans are attached to the door and bed. My room does not have a bathroom, but there are a lot of public baths, basically no waiting, public baths are also relatively clean. The floor is a bit high, I live on the fourth floor, climbing the stairs is a little hard; but go out, what is this bitter! The people who live in the hostel are a little miscellaneous, and the valuables must be kept safe. Don't take it lightly; I have lost a pair of high-quality velvet trousers in this host because of the intention. The above comments are for reference only and I wish you a pleasant trip!
I stayed in a twin room with breakfast, the room was not large, but it was not too crowded for two people, and there was some space for luggage, and it was acceptable in such a good location. Only 5 minutes away from Kensington Park, walk through the park to the three major museums such as the Natural History Museum and walk for about half an hour, walk to Paddington Railway Station for 10 minutes, there are many buses and subway stations nearby, and go to various popular Attractions are basically within half an hour. Breakfast was simple ham and cheese slices and toast with coffee tea and fruit milk, not ample but full. If it is a bed in a multi-bed room, you have to eat in another place. I don't know what the quality is. There is no hair dryer in the room, which can be borrowed from the front desk.
Saw a tip to park here for Wembley stadium and well worth doing. £25 for stadium events which I think was more than the official parking but getting a space and getting out again couldnt have been easier. Only thing I would recommend is for parker's to be issued a ticket so they have peace of mind. As the chap who took the money could have been anyone to us and wasnt identified as a member of the hotel. Assisted to a space, but getting away was the plus point, no queues and straight out onto a side road which got us away in good time.
The event staff were AMAZING. Went above and beyond before, during and after the event. Great customer service, attention to detail and responsiveness. The reception staff seemed disinterested and to not like each other, sniping at each other visibly. The rooms were great, spacious, well kept, good bathroom. For a huge hotel that seemed relatively quiet we were placed SUPER far away. 2 separate lifts and about 500 metres walk at least to our rooms, doesn't seem far but trust me it is. Breakfast was fantastic. Worth paying for in your room rate and not on the day however. Really good quality, and variety. Would recommend this place and was happy with our stay and the value for money.
Based on this price, the hotel is very good, the room is not small, the cleaning is very clean every day, there is a kettle, hair dryer, the front desk is very warm, when we went, Shakespeare had no room, so arranged in the next door of dolphin, both are a family The breakfast is Western-style. There are bread bacon and scrambled egg cheese. You can sandwich yourself. There are butter and jam on the table, as well as oatmeal, cake, rice pudding (somewhat sweet), and some canned fruits, no fresh fruit, cold drinks. There is water orange juice milk, hot drinks have hot cocoa, hot water, tea, coffee, etc. Oatmeal with milk soaked if you feel ice, add some hot water, it will dilute a little milky taste but okay. The location is right next to Paddington Station, there is a Burger King McDonald's and a convenience store nearby, it is convenient to travel. The only point of deduction may be that the restaurant service is not too warm, standing at the door of the kitchen is always ready to collect the dishes you have finished.
I really liked this hostel. Very friendly, kind and helpful staff, specially the main manager who's usually there. The breakfast was also perfect.
The location of the hotel is excellent and the service is very bad! First of all, two people with a 4-year-old child can not stay in the so-called super-bed type, the hotel will let you upgrade, each £ 220 per day, and tell you that you can send two breakfasts to you, you have agreed, At 12 o'clock in the afternoon, your child is already asleep, the hotel will not give you the room right away, let you wait until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, you can tell the hotel to discuss the situation, if you have no upgraded room type, you can give me The original room type, the hotel told you that you can not stay, set the two to stay, bring the child is three people, must upgrade, or can not live three people, I said, well, please give me a room Booked room type, my husband can't live, can you always? The front desk went to the back to find the manager. The manager immediately said that the room with a price of 220 pounds can be given to you in 15 minutes. I further confirmed that I originally booked a room of 33 square meters. If you add 229 pounds, it must be a room of 52 square meters, and send breakfast for 3 people. The front desk confirms that there is no problem. Finally, the check-out still charges for one day's breakfast. Finally, After a theory, I returned. Having said that, the service is good, everyone has the final say, in short, I will not go to live again, too much trouble, this service is too cumbersome! After staying for two days, we went to Rosewood, which was cheaper, better service, and uniquely located. It also gave children extra beds for free. In short, this hotel is too proud, no human touch, find ways to let you add money to upgrade! Upgrade does not provide good service! Never go to live again, everyone should be cautious! However, the couple still recommended to live, the room is more modern, the floor is very comfortable!
Breakfast is paid, like sixty-seven pounds? forget. There are a lot of pret menger, tesco, Starbucks McDonald's KFC, so I didn't eat at the hotel. The big restaurant on the first floor of the Youth Hostel is better, and you can rely on time. The kitchen can cook and it is very convenient. Going out and turning left into the alley is the subway Russell Square Station. Going left and going straight is the British Museum. Going left and then turning right to the Thames, going out to follow the map for half an hour is Leicester Square... In short, the traffic is great. The Youth Hostel is in the upper, middle and lower shops. The bed is not straight and can only sleep. Don't think about it. Sadly reminded that one night I met a very stinky lady, who almost didn't smoke me... I just stayed one night. Look at the money, I have to endure. In short, it is recommended. In London, it is already ok. After all, it is not expensive for people to change into sterling... No need for a room card deposit. If you need to lock valuables when you are in the store, you can rent a drawer (price is unknown). You need to save the package after leaving the store. It is also necessary to pay rent (£3).
I booked the hotel for my husband for an overnight stay. He found it perfectly satisfactory, His room was in the basement: it was clean and provided all the essentials. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and kindly stored his luggage on the day he checked out. He also found the breakfast perfectly adequate. Reading other reviews, I feel that people often have unrealistic expectations. Yes, of course you can have a larger room, more choice at breakfast, etc., but you're going to have to pay more than £75 per night. My husband was happy with the hotel, and would certainly stay there again.
I have more relaxed room requirements. I think as long as the bedding is relatively clean1, I am more satisfied with a separate bathroom. For some reason, I had to leave Shakespeare, move down from the top floor, check out, and wait three hours to check in with the dolphin. This time it's good, it's arranged on the first floor 884. The space is larger than Shakespeare's 441, and the bed is more comfortable.
Went with my son on Sunday eve. Lovely scotch egg, bread with delicious hummus and good squid. We were having a lovely night. My son had pork belly which was good. I had beef. Promised pink but delivered shoe leather and hard, dark - overdone. Lazy chef in the kitchen serving me beef from the lunch service reheated and overdone. I’ve seen it but didn’t believe they still do it. Embarrassing: if I ran that kitchen I’d care. Asked how the meal was like so many good restaurants. I fed back that the beef was shoe leather and awful. Response? None. Nothing. Why bother? I paid the full bill because having such a nice time with my son didn’t want to ruin it. My advice. Have the pizza so you don’t trouble a lazy chef with staff who are trained to ask but couldn’t care less.
In order to go to this hotel booked by the Royal Observatory, the hotel is actually an apartment. We were four, exactly one big bed and a living room sofa (foldable sofa bed), there was a microwave oven, plates, bowls, etc. in the room, but we could see that none of the kitchenware! dry! net! The rain and water are not good, and it is not worth the price given by it. Fortunately, the quilt pillow towel is still clean. It's really not far from the observatory. I can walk with my child for ten minutes. I pass by Ibis, and when I see the appearance of ibis, I regret why I didn't decide Ibis. The front desk service changed three people from us checkin to out, two are Polish or Russian, one is African-American, has an accent in English, the service is cold, asks the bus station and other questions, one asks three unknowns ...
The breakfast is rich. The location of the hotel is convenient for traveling. There is a subway leading to the urban district of London. If you are bringing your child, you can ask for an extra bed. There are Chinese restaurants near the hotel.
Breakfast is the same every day, but it's quite rich. Coffee is cooked and it is better. The fixed family room, two 1.5-meter beds, the bed is soft and moderate, very comfortable. There is a bathtub in the room, no toothbrush slippers. It is the most comfortable bed in my 16-day trip. The location is not downtown, but the subway bus is super convenient. Supermarkets and small restaurants are also quite a few. There are not many people on the road, the environment is clean, and the night is quiet. Our family of three lives very well. The front desk is also very friendly. There are not many guests and the service is very fast. The appearance of the building looked broken, but it was OK. Very clean. There is a parking lot, but it is estimated to be expensive.
I am very satisfied with this Novotel, with good quality and low price, although it is a little bit, but it is very convenient to take the subway. Hammersmith is only a few hundred meters from this hotel. Heathrow Airport is only 2.8 pounds by direct subway to Hammersmith, and the Hammersmith & city line is particularly convenient to Paddington Railway Station and Baker Street. The matching sofa can be opened as a bed, and children under 16 stay and eat breakfast for free, which is great! Breakfast is very rich, full breakfast, you can eat anything at noon, breakfast starts at 6:30, for those who rushed to the train early to eat breakfast before leaving. After 7:30 a lot of people eat breakfast, but there are a lot of seats, do not feel particularly crowded, and breakfast supply can keep up. Fruit yogurt has all kinds of meat sausages. The decoration is small and fresh, the public areas are great, and there is no cost to store luggage. The disadvantage is that the shower is standing in the bathtub, which is a bit cramped, and the bath water is not particularly large. It is very convenient to eat around, there are many places to eat in Hammersmith Station, supermarkets are cheap, and there are many restaurants and bars on the Hammersmith city line exit.
Hotel location is especially good! Easy to travel, the subway to King's Cross Railway Station and Paddington Railway Station are very convenient! Walking to Oxford Street and Regent Street are not far away! The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are complete, clean and hygienic, the breakfast is not much variety, the taste is good, can eat! The hotel is surrounded by small streets, no noisy, not far from walking, you can also drink and eat on the street! Really feel convenient, go live next time!
My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Athenaeum at the beginning of a longer trip, as a splurge to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We had a park view room on the third floor. Everything about this place is a delight, from the courteous service, great location, the spacious and well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, the private club on the top floor and the new gym. The staff were so welcoming and solicitous, and when we got into our room we found a lovely plate of chocolate-covered strawberries (with gold leaf!) and a kind note wishing us a happy anniversary. We would definitely stay again, if funds permitted (and if the coronavirus pandemic ever allows us to travel again). Highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself.
Travelodge CP was a life saver when I had to fly over from Spain as an emergency to look after my elderly parents after my mother had a hospital op. I needed somewhere to start my quarantine as I couldn’t stay at my parents house until my mother had left for the hospital. I spent 2 nights at the hotel and it was a very pleasant experience considering I was in quarantine. The room was clean, modern and spacious so it was no problem to be in it for a day and a half. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the cleanliness of the public areas was exceptional.
Kings Cross-Saint Pancras
I have stayed in this hotel twice during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first time it was around half 1 in the morning, and I needed somewhere urgently to say. Ayan was very helpful and managed to book me a room. Not only was I impressed with the customer service, but I was impressed by the cost. Bearing in mind whilst I was booking my room Ayan had to deal with some drunken customers who were being quite disorderly, however she remained professional. This past weekend I was only meant to say for one night, however I stayed for two. The customer service was outstanding. Natalia was very friendly. When I wanted to extend my stay, Rachel's customer service was exceptional. This is my preferred hotel when I come to London, and can't wait to stay again!
