We have stayed here before to go to 4th street live. It is walking distance so that makes it super convenient. We love the rooftop bar! The food is great and its a fancy atmosphere with fire light and glowing furniture. The food is really good there as well. This particular trip however, we were going to see Willey Nelson on a Thursday and the rooftop bar (outside area) was not open and we were very disappointed, but our fault for not checking first. The breakfast was good and the two girls that worked the breakfast area were bad asses. They were super busy when we went there and were running around like crazy to make sure everyone was happy. Great work to them.

Disregard the previous Post about cleanliness. My wife is a nurse and clean freak and had no issues here. Room clean, bed comfortable , breakfast was good but light on fruit. Otherwise fully acceptable for a Marriott property. Perfect location as it’s a couple blocks to Main Street for restaurants distilleries and other things Christian checked us in and about 8 other rooms as there was a line. He was. Fast professional and gave each the personal attention expected at check in. Well done ! I stayed here in 2017. Quality is still good as back then. The Secure garage as part of the property goes a long way when traveling. Especially in a city that you don’t know. I am a titanium member staying at 50+ Marriott properties a year. Close to the airport, convenient parking, simple breakfast, low requirements. However, there are many restaurants nearby, and you can walk on foot and find a Chinese restaurant. It’s quite appropriate to go to the show or transfer accommodation.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never been disappointed. This time was good but not great. The front desk people were rude and my pre requested shower seat was ignored . But the hotel is exceptionally clean, the rooms are wonderful, the beds really comfortable and all around this is a gem. The standout part is the little restaurant with a nice buffet and fresh cooked meals too. The food is so good and such a nice place to start the day. The service in the restaurant is outstanding and they are very nice people too. If you stay here, don’t skip breakfast.

Excellent low spot rooms were clean well-kept linen was spotless the front desk Clerks tend to stare at you too much when you come downstairs for breakfast, and they hawk-eye your plates as if you're not going to eat a sausage biscuit and a bagel would you pay $6 for if you order on this website here. Either way, hot shower totally worth it, neighbors are quiet my room was near the elevator, and it didn't smell like a locker room in the fitness center. Although it was an excellent day and I was very happy, even extended by a day. I think you'll love it oh, it's typical Ramada Style at a price we can all afford!

This is one of my favorite Louisville hotels for a staycation. I love the AC lounge and the location of the hotel is perfect for a night out and shopping at unique stores. The style of the rooms are modern, sleek and always clean. This trip our room felt very humid and damp but this was not a huge damper on the stay and we did not mention it to staff. Our only other complaint was that there are no do not disturb door tags. Parking was safe and the security of the building (requiring a key to access room floors) is always a plus!! All of the staff that we encountered were friendly, Jessica checked us in and she was very nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

I made a 2 night reservation through Hilton Honors. Get there to check in and clerk says she can't find my reservation. I spelled my last name for her several times then gave her my drivers license. She shook her head but I guess she finally found it because she gave me two room keys. We get to the room and it was warm so I turned the thermostat down and went to a ball game. Came back late and room still warm. We slept through it even though it was uncomfortable because we had already unpacked and were dead tired. Next morning I advised front desk about A/C and clerk looked everywhere for a pen/pencil to write down my room number but then she said ”I'll remember”. Well I guess she didn't. We came back late again very tired and guess what? Neither room key worked!! When I went back downstairs to front desk, clerk said they put me down as a ”no-show” even though our stuff was still in the room from the previous night and I had a 2 night reservation! After several minutes of finding my reservation again, she apologized and fixed keys. I went back up to the room, opened the door and guess what? It was hot, no towels, and beds unmade! I sent my wife down to speak to clerk because I had had enough by then. Wife came back with a new room key so we packed our stuff and moved down the hall. That room was just OK. Breakfast was very Days-Inn-ish and I was ready to leave that place. Will stay somewhere else next time.

We spent a night at the Seelbach due to the history of the hotel. What we received was beyond expectations. Not only was there a lot of Information available throughout the hotel, David T. went way above to provide a 1-1 tour. After returning from dinner, we stopped to ask about the Rathskeller. David not only provide the history, but brought us to the Oak Room and the private card room that Al Capone used. We were blown away by his knowledge and the service he provided. David’s extra mile made our minds that this will be the hotel we will stay at for future trips to Louisville

The hotel is very close to the airport and the highway is also very easy to find. The room is the standard for the Holiday Inn Express, clean, the bed is comfortable, and there are some. Gas stations, convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, McDonald's, etc. are all within a few minutes of driving. The choice of breakfast is also standard for the same type of hotel, the restaurant is much more spacious than other hotels. The only thing that feels a little worse is that the front desk staff at the check-in desk is indifferent, has no smile, and is not particularly friendly.

In the past I have depended on my fellow TripAdvisors, and I thank all of you. Therefore, I am doing my part now. Sometimes we have to travel, and it is good to know when their is a safe place to stay. During Covid, we have declined many family events, but this one we felt we needed to attend. We booked three rooms: a King, and a Double Queen which adjoined our King two-room suite. When we came to the hotel, we were greeted warmly and safely. Each room was spacious and clean. The bathroom has lots of counter space around the sink for getting ready before an event. The two-room King was especially nice with a bar sink, mirror, microwave, and refrigerator. The beds were super comfortable. There are other Marriott properties next door, but there was no noise. There is a major shopping center/restaurants nearby. There was coffee and muffins available downstairs. I warmed my blueberry muffin in the microwave and it hit the spot. It has been a week since we were there and the only two who are sick played with the toddler with the runny nose. :)

This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. The front desk person and I were talking and he told me that at one point they had to close a room because there was a meth lab in it. The doors leading in from the parking lot slammed shut, all night long. This is something a maintenance person should know how to fix. They ran out of food and coffee at breakfast, mind you there were no big events happening. The room was dirty, not the worst I have seen but bad enough. There was no way to set the temperature in the room. Just am old knob heater, like a space heater. It was either way hot or freezing, because it wasn't shutting off on its own when the room got hot. I made this reservation thinking I would give Quality Inn one more try after a few not so great stays for work travel...huge mistake. I will never stay at another Quality Inn. Choice Hotels should remove them from thier apps.

The hotel is beautiful and in a good location on 4th Street. Multiple restaurants and bars to eat but be sure to set reservations. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were very stiff and there was no thick comforter. Parking can be a little confusing, more signage needs to be visible because of valet and everything else the parking garages are hard to see. We had a larger vehicle and had to use a different parking garage, and due to all the valet in the front part you couldn't see where that parking garage was therefore we ended up parking in public parking garage down the road. Hotel staff was good about this and refunded us for the hotel parking so we was not double charged. One thing that I noticed that would be a big help to visitors is more signage within the hotel and parking garage. The hotel is very large and all the floors look the same so you can get quite turned around with which Tower you're going to or where the restaurants are located. For example, it would be good to have some signage inside the elevators so that you know which floors have access to which restaurants/skywalk. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.

Upon entry the room smelled awful and hadn’t been cleaned. I had to go and buy spray for the smell… I alerted the front desk said someone was going to clean… and try to freshen the room. I left for 3 hours and mind you I just came to stay the night to get a break from having to clean behind two adults staying in my house I was already exhausted and frustrated… I came back nothing had been done. Couldn’t take a bath in the jacuzzi tub or shower due to someone’s pubic hair everywhere in both. I attempted to clean the tub myself with what I had- isopropyl alcohol and lots of towels I had to go get from the desk so I could.. tan out of isopropyl alcohol.. slipped and messed my leg up while trying to clean the tub… then tried to wash the hair out of the shower but it didn’t work. I paid cash for the room and put incidentals on my card. So after being told at checkout someone would contact me and make things right… mind you I didn’t sleep cause well the room hadn’t been cleaned so I was super uncomfortable sleeping in the bed and getting clean in a dirty pubic hair walls and floor in the shower… well it’s been a week and no one has emailed or called me so I called and same lady stated my number wasn’t on the receipt- but it’s on my account but it’s whatever. I’m aware I got played out of $250 and I had to clean my own room and still… no matter how messed up and wrong it is no one care or will fix this issue. I will not spend another red penny at a Hilton. Bad taste in mouth is an understatement. Considering we’re still in a pandemic the rooms should be getting cleaned. Actually cleaned. First job when I got to Louisville at 19 was as a housekeeper. So there isn’t anything I don’t about what goes on. I’m not just saddened by this I’m a bit outraged. Now I regret not paying on my card. But I was just trying to get checked in eat have a lovely bath and actually sleep. I should be getting paid for my hard work honestly… a week is plenty of time to get in touch, even by email. I used my HH’s so I’m aware the hotel has my information. Maybe not on the receipt I guess but… yeah. I want my money back in full now. This was and is beyond ridiculous. Didn’t want to post this as a review but… no one cared to contact me or remedy the situation. Still not sure how my “phone number” was just missing. I look at my Hilton account and it’s there just like my email… my points for me paying to clean the room have registered to my account so clearly… they have the correct info!

It is a pet friendly hotel however there’s no grass area on the property. You have to walk across the street and down half a block to a spot in front of a white castle. Was a little strange. The bed was comfortable and bathroom is spacious. Parking across the street was easy but the one-way streets made it time-consuming to drive around the block with 3 stop lights after unloading. neighborhood was a little sketchy and a homeless man 1 block away was pressuring me for money.

This is a nice property, with a good breakfast and a friendly staff. However, my checkin experience was blemished by the disclosure of the recently enacted parking fee that runs $10 per space, per night. This property is not in a downtown area, it is just off the interstate and not somewhere I am accustomed to paying for parking. I just came from another Staybridge location in a similar setting that did not charge for parking. This charge is buried on the parking description and doesn’t even include a dollar sign.

Nice and clean hotel, has everything you need on-site except laundry. On 2 different occasions I asked the ladies at the front desk about various local places and neither knew about them. (one was a restaurant across the highway, the other was about the baseball team here, the Bats) Our room was out of shower gel the first night, and shampoo the second night. Bathrooms are a bit small. When you open the glass shower door, the water drops all over the whole bathroom, that's how small they are. Rooms say non-smoking but our room had clearly been smoked in. We love Louisville but not sure we'd stay here again.

We stayed here after going to the World of Wheels car show at the KY Expo Center. Lisa at the desk was extremely friendly; I asked her about places to eat and she was helpful, giving us areas to stay away from and telling us about local places as we like to eat local and not chain. There was mild airplane noise; I know that's a concern and I live in an extremely rural area so I worried that any noise would keep me awake since I wouldn't be used to it. We were there on a weekend night so maybe less planes (?) I found the room to be clean. One small area in the bathroom where the shower curtain doesn't meet with the wall seemed to have some water damage. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast.
