Stayed here for 4 nights. Had King suite which was a larger room with a love seat and easy chair. Hotel is a little on the worn side. Office chair was very worn and towels were a little thin. Breakfast was the usual fair with eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, waffles, etc. Comfy bed and quite hotel. We were right next to the elevator but never heard it. If you get a chance Franklin has a very nice greenway on the Little Tennessee river in town. Lots of benches. Also KFC, Taco Bell, and grocery very close to hotel.

This is a 100+ year old building, two stories, large balcony the length of the building with rocking chairs on each floor. Maureen is an attentive, well-informed host, wonderful breakfasts in a lovely sunlit room (wooden backs of the chairs a bit uncomfortable). Reasonably priced at least when we visited. Ample parking on the property, no elevator. The inside is filled with antiques - very museum-like, downstairs "living room" with a fireplace, plenty warm on cool days. I would definitely recommend this B & B. However, you might request one of the larger rooms. Our room (one bed) was quite small making it more difficult to move about. Our shower was equally small also making it more difficult to move about. It was also difficult to adjust the temperature of the water.but again, the building is older.

Research of the areas suggests this to be the best overall bang for buck option around. Overall, I can argue with that. The rooms are fine though they were not the absolute cleanest I've seen at this price point. The bathroom has ZERO ventilation or even an exhaust fan so it steams up BADLY after just one hot shower. I noticed several beginning blooms of mold/mildew on the ceiling. Also, the shower massage head could really use a soak in Vinegar or CLR. Now for the tale of two Annettes. When working in the hospitality industry, one should think a good disposition to be more than usually desirable. One woman, (with blonde hair and a tattoo on her neck, noted only for identification as I believe they share the same name) while mostly saying all the right words, had the air of someone who just didn't mean it. Like a smile that doesn't reach the eyes, there is something that just puts one off and communicates a disinterest bordering upon disdain. She also overheard to be using foul language in a conversation with someone she knew on one occasion. Conversely, a slightly older, matronly desk employee with a broguish lilt was absolutely delightful to interact with. She genuinely seemed to want to help and enjoy serving the guests. She even wanted to hug my son and his new bride and asked about pictures. Overall, I don't think you can do better in Franklin for your money, but Microtel COULD do better with some of their employees.

We originally booked this motel because of the reviews and it is one of the few motels in the area that excepts pets. I don’t know how this place got so many great reviews. The motel is obviously old and has some wear and tear. I noticed our room only had 2 towels, I always like to have an extra one or two because I don’t really use housekeeping services during my stays. I went to the lobby to ask for an extra towel and the woman gave me a puzzling look and asked why. Really? Because I asked for one. My response to her was “are guests not allowed to have extra towels?” She said they aren’t supposed too but she hesitantly gave me one. To the owner: I’m not going to steal your dinky motel towel. Many of the reviews said this place was quiet.... far from it! From before sunrise to after midnight all we could hear were people slamming their doors. Our room was next to an outside sitting area where people would party. There was trash and beer bottles all over in the mornings. We were looking to book another hotel on our second day but all the ones that were pet friendly were double priced than before. Even our dog wasn’t comfortable. We tolerated it and just left the night before our original check out day. Next time we will book either a better hotel and pay the higher costs or just rent an Airbnb.

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out 4 days later, we had a perfect stay. We were greeted by Alexis T. when we first arrived at 9:00 a.m. and even though our rooms weren't available that early, she provided PERFECT customer service. She offered to hold our luggage for us so we could begin to explore downtown.....she did it with a smile and could not have been more welcoming. She also told us that breakfast was still being served and if we would like to partake to please do so. She set the bar very high and is a perfect "face"for the hotel! Our rooms were very clean at check in but we did not ask for our rooms to be cleaned after that. We only asked for clean towels and the housekeeping staff were gracious in giving us the amount we requested. We enjoyed the evening reception (provided 7 nights a week/4:00-7:00 p.m.)held in the lobby one evening. That night they had complimentary chicken wings, chips with artichoke dip and cubed cheese......all hot and very tasty! There was also an acoustic guitar player in the lobby providing very nice music (low volume). The morning breakfast was very well presented as well.....one morning they ran out of bacon - no big deal! This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from all the action on Broadway. Super location! I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a hotel while visiting downtown Nashville!

My wife and I were celebrating her birthday last week, and Nashville was where she wanted to go (I certainly didn't mind though). We checked in on Wednesday March 4 for three nights. My first thought of the lobby area was it reminded me of the Contemporary Hotel in Disney World minus the monorail running through it. Our early check-in went smoothly as our room was already available, and it was one facing the park, as we requested. Regarding the room itself, it was overall clean and spacious. Next door at Bridgestone Arena, there was a concert the first evening, a hockey game the next evening, and another concert the last evening. We did hear their noise, but glad we didn't also hear all the music from the other side (rooms facing Broadway). Our check-out experience went well too with no discrepancies in our final bill. For breakfasts, we enjoyed the buffet in the lobby. It was nothing spectacular, but still had all the usual breakfast foods. Our only issue came with the coffee shop where on Thursday March 5, it didn't open until after 7am. It was an issue as we are early risers and were specifically told they opened 6am weekdays. Regardless, I would certainly consider staying here again the next time we're in town.

I flew to Nashville to pick up my daughter from Belmont University at the end of the semester and decided to stay at the Graduate for one night. What a delightful hotel! From the friendly staff to the fun yet elegant decor it was a joy from check in to check out! I cannot wait for a longer stay at this hotel on my next trip to Nashville!

The hotel is wonderful and the staff was exceptional. Emily at the lobby bar, Phyllis and Barbara in the cafe to name a few. Faults: no concierge on staff to help Nashville newbies on local dining venues or sights. Front desk staff very kind but called upon to fill this position and not really good at it. Also when checking in the front desk staff were constantly being interrupted to answer the phone which was a bit rude. Last but not least the valet parking situation! We waited almost one hour for our car Sunday morning to be delivered. This can only be attributed to poor planning on the part of management. We were told our car would be available in fifteen minutes so we proceeded down and joined at least another fifty to seventy five families waiting. It had to be known how many would be checking out that morning and should have been planned for. Not Marriott standards.

We spent two nights a week ago traveling for fun as a couple. It was a fantastic experience from our initial contact (the hotel actually called to see if we needed anything for a smooth trip or arrival about a week before we got there, which was a nice touch), to the check in with Elliot who was very helpful and friendly, and then all the way through our stay to our check out. Ellington's has a terrific happy hour and outdoor deck - Wonderful cocktails and appetizers (go for the pimento cheese to wash down with a nice dry martini!). The room is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a Cherry Suite which is a big larger and has everything you will need. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the bathroom large. Morning coffee is excellent in the lobby. The location is terrific - right next to Painter's Alley and a few blocks from Broadway and other sites. The developer and designer did a great job of making a new hotel feel truly vintage. Valet parking is a great way to go. We even had to leave around 5:30 am for the airport, so we called the night before to make sure we could access our car, and they had it pulled up waiting for us. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here. We will make The Fairlane our Nashville hotel for sure!

First the good- we loved the location and would stay here again because of that. Plus, We actually liked the minimalist rooms. They felt very clean. We had read reviews so we booked a larger room with windows. Now the not so good- very unhelpful desk staff. We requested housekeeping but it didn't happen. Next, they checked us out a day early. When I stopped to ask about it, I was met with argument and insistence that our reservation ended now. I showed my emailed confirmation and then it was, Oh, Ok, I'll check you back in. Of course, when I got my final receipt, they charged me the now higher price than what I booked in January, for that last night. I emailed (no response) and called but it was again just argument, and my mistake somehow. Finally, the AC quit working that day. We reported it but the whole day passed without anyone taking action. When we checked back in the afternoon. They said, they couldn't work on it because we had our stuff in the room. They had not given us another room or said that was a problem in the morning but now just kept saying , they couldn't fix it because of us. Just to stop that argument I finally said, "OK, what now?" They then offered us another room for our last night. I don't expect any response to any of this. I see their canned response to every negative review. It's just a full disclosure to those choosing. We'd stay here again for the location and we were comfortable until the AC situation. If service and hospitality is important though, stay somewhere else.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the friendliest women Andrea & Heather they didn’t miss a beat! They were hilarious and told us all of the must see’s in Nashville and all of the best restaurants to go to etc. They were everything I pictured when I think of Nashville. They should REALLY be recognized for the customer service they provide.I have traveled many places and have never experienced a check in like the one at the Indigo. They put us in what they quoted OUR FAVORITE ROOM and when we walked in we knew EXACTLY why.It was huge very clean and modern looking. The lobby was beautiful and the drinks were top notch as well.We are planning to come back to Nashville later on this summer and we will definitely be back and the main reason for that is to visit Andrea & Heather!!!!!!!!!!!See ya soon ladies your favorite New Yorker’s !!!

I was in Nashville for a business convention and stayed at the Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown due to its proximity to the convention center. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel was clean and rooms are nice size. we had an issue with the hair dryer and GFI outlet in the bathroom and the hotel fixed both issues in 5 minutes. Great Customer experience. The breakfast buffet in the morning is nice, but NO restaurant in the hotel. Fortunately the hotel is surrounded by restaurants. Parking is $40 per night FYI. The only problem with our room was the view was covered by an A/C unit.
