|0.93km from city centerThe location of the hotel is convenient but parking is a bit inconvenient. The room is very clean, there are sparkling water and milk and fruits you can take by yourself. The coffee machine is also great! The breakfast is also good! In short, Oxford must be great in the tourist destination

|0.33km from city centerI was recommended to come to this place and it was the best decision ever!! Place was lovely and food was more than great!! I came with my mum and a friend and my mother was the whole dinner saying that the food was more than great!! Which I’m really happy to make that decision. Also just to mention how great and helpful was Alfonso with his recommendations and his knowledge about the plates and allergies and how Kasam was making amazing cocktails that he also choose for us. I will come again for sure!!

|0.21km from city centerIdeal place to stay in the heart of Oxford. Very clean and”quaint ” couple of rooms. We just stayed for the one night in two rooms , one with an en-suite, but would have been more than happy to stay longer. This is a beautiful building but the low ceilings and narrow stairs might be a problem for some people. The listing on TripAdvisor is a bit misleading as no breakfast is included (we were made aware of this when booking) Would definitely recommend. (Unless your a bit tall and clumsy!!)

|1.33km from city centerWe had an a enjoyable 2 night stay here. Car parking was available at the front, the 2 rear parking spaces were taken, it is a little tricky to reverse into. We had one of the bedrooms on the front, it has en suite facilities and was adequate for our needs. The only drawback is that the main road is very noisy. The breakfast is good, with a good choice of cereals, together with croissants, toast and very good coffee machine. It is a 15-20 minutes walk into the city centre, although we mainly used the bus service, which run around every 10 minutes. We did the 'free' walking tour in the city which was very good, overall we really enjoyed our trip to Oxford.

Oxford
|1.78km from city centerThe hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, about 20 minutes walk to city centre and you will walk past a lot of magnificent buildings including Keble College. There are only 11 guest rooms and the hotel is really warm and cozy. The room was very clean and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was served in the observatory, which was beautiful and amazing. There were a lot of books around and you could take one with you! The breakfast was mainly continental but there was also some hot food such as scrambled eggs, tomatoes and beans. It’s included in the room price, so very good value for money. On-site free parking as well. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Only one minor issue was that you could hardly adjust the temperature of the shower water (we booked two rooms, one had that issue, the other one was normal) and it became hotter and hotter as time went by.

|0.66km from city centerVery nice hotel with very friendly staff. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and it was nice to have extra pillows and blankets in the room, if needed. Bathroom was nice and towels were fluffy! The little extras like bottled water, hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. The location was great...very close to the train station, which was the deciding factor to book this hotel. We were not disappointed! The little restaurant located off the lobby served a delicious breakfast!

|0.82km from city centerI love this little boutique hotel. The staff are truly the best - friendly and accommodating. The premises are showing some signs of age but very clean and comfortable. I love the cafe as well - I wish there were some more menu options but what they have is very good. I didn't have a car so parking was not an issue but I do hear that it's limited around the hotel, which sits on a quiet street near the river, about a 15-20 minute walk from Oxford city centre. I've stayed here before and happily will again. (Note that this property is one of many businesses that has gone completely cashless - I don't like not having a cash option but the UK seems to be adopting it at a fast pace)

|1.18km from city centerHotel was great in terms of location (bus stop just outside) and there is a large coop next door and Tesco express nearby for any additional items needed. The rooms are standard premier inn but the staff at the hotel, especially the hotel manager, are very friendly. The food for breakfast was decent and we were impressed with the quality of the evening meal which we had on one evening. The hotel was quiet in the evenings which suited us as 2 families with children with us.

|1.5km from city centerStill a good hotel. It was very chic and the breakfast was good. But a little far from Oxford Christ Church College, I need to take the bus, and the bus is quite expensive. The bus needs to be lifted before it stops. It can only be said that Oxford University is really too big.

|1.71km from city center3 adults traveling on a short trip from London. I booked this property as they had a room for 3 adults, rather than booking two hotel rooms. Description also stated it is a short walk to town and seconds from the car park. Pros - property is clean and fairly comfortable. Beds harder than I'm used to but that's me. Bathroom small but clean and looks fairly new. We were happy for the fan. TV has 2 remotes, one of them for Netflix. Could not get that to work. We had enough towels for everyone. Cons - yes, we had room 6 which has two beds for three adults. But it's at the top of two flights of very narrow steep steps. Real pain to get luggage up and down. Walk to town is closer to 20mins. That's not that close to town for someone who walks with a cane. Carpark - not seconds away. It is a 14min walk (we timed it). No description of what car park to use. We really had to do some detection work to figure it out. Parking next to property has a 90min limit and is a shopping parking lot. Do not book this property thru a third party such as BedsOnline. To get the codes to get into building and room, the email is sent to booking email which in our case was BedsOnline. Our travel agent had to do a big last minute scramble to get that email for us. We almost could not stay here and it would have been quite the scramble to get another hotel. The contact for this property sent us one email after our first inquiry to her, but then would not reply to our further emails. I showed them our voucher and asked for assistance but was totally ignored. So I could not report to them that the toilet seat is very very loose and I almost fell. Front of property has trash cans and bags and is not very welcoming. Some flowers in big flower pots would be a nice touch. While the room was very clean and fairly comfortable, with new windows, there were some issues in the bathroom, such as no place to put soap in the shower, no hooks to hang clothes. Over all, honesty in your description would have been very appreciated. Really can't give it more than 2 stars.

|0.27km from city centerVery very basic. Very little care taken in general. Room was ok but small and stuffy. Decor run down . Corridors cramped and shabby. Desk was unmanned, had to buzz to get staff over road from their “ sister “ hotel. They seemed disinterested. Little local knowledge. Walls paper thin. When i left in the morning , I walked out into a building site - the whole section , including the front door , had been sectioned off workmen - who shouted at me for not wearing a hard-hat 😂 would have been nice to get a heads up from the hotel this was happening. You get what you pay for , and this was cheap , but I won’t be staying again. Recommend avoiding

|2.61km from city centerI have been visiting this beautiful hotel since last year and love it! It's close enough to walk to the amazing historic Oxford City Centre. The family that run the hotel and all charming and couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, quite a rarity these days. I love great service and this is of the highest standard, thank you all! Highly recommended!😊

|0.56km from city centerI enjoyed my stay at Central Backpackers. It's a small, compact hostel so it's pretty easy to start up a conversation with someone if you feel like it. The room (8 bed female dorm) was super spacious, and it was great to have power sockets and a light for each bed. Hostel was clean, showers were nice, but one of the toilets always seemed to have an issue with flushing (toilet within shower room by dorm 7). Kitchen was small but seemed like it had everything you'd need if you wanted to cook. Movie room was small but cosy. Great location, 5 mins from train station and easy walk to main attractions.

|0.21km from city centerWe stayed just one night to meet family members for dinner in Oxford.
It is very well located for the city cetre. Despite that, it is in a quiet location and we had a good night's rest in a small but comfortable room.
It lacks the range of facilites that you may want for a long stay. For example, it has no lounge, restaurant or lifts, which is the only reason I could not give 5 /5 for facilites. What facitlities is does have are good: in room tea and coffee making, television, radio and WiFi. Staff are friendly and helpful.
We came by car and used the Park and Ride system, which is excellent. Oxford bus services are good. The hotel is also only a short taxi ride from the station if you go by train.
The hotel was ideal for a short stay and we will use it again.

Oxford
|0.09km from city centerMy first experience highlighted the incompetent service. I booked an executive room and was told 6 months later that they had listed it at the wrong price. After confirming the new price, it was clearly confirmed on ***********. The hotel clearly ignore these confirmations because they downgraded me to a classic, but left *********** to charge me the higher price. Hotel not interested, everyone else’s fault. No apology, no compensation. *********** had to contact the hotel and correct the price again. Access code arrived less than 3 hours prior to check-in, which was the first I knew of my downgrade. Classic rooms are OK but very noisy if you’re at the back. Sink plug broken, poor ventilation, good Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable bed. Stayed 2 nights but after first night, no housekeeping, no clean cups, no new toiletries and bottles of water. They have clearly, following the decision to sell, given up. If you haven’t booked already, or have a flexible booking, you might wish to do the same.

|5.01km from city centerNice hotel. Staff are cordial but the amenities need to be reviewed and made up to date. No landline to ring the reception for any service needed, had to go all the way downstairs to the reception to make a complaint on a toilet that’s refused to flush. Shower not working, couldn’t flush the toilet until I applied much pressure on the flush handle. Would’ve been great if the amenities are up to date (for the lack of a better word).

|0.24km from city centerFantastic location, right on the Broad opposite Balliol. The entrance is unprepossessing, just some narrow stairs and no people. But once you've climbed them, there's a friendly face and our room about 2 feet away. And what a lovely room, quirky and overlooking the Broad, which is now traffic free. The bathroom is small but well fitted. My wife and I thought the shower was the best we have encountered in a hotel, with a door that shuts properly so the bathroom doesn't get soaked. And the towels were soft and fresh. There is no breakfast or dining area which we knew. But our stay was comfortable and the location was perfect for us.

|0.3km from city centerThis hotel is very close to the bus station. We went to Bicester, so it is very convenient to stay here. The only bad thing is the garbage station next to the hotel. It is a bit noisy at night, the front desk service is very good, help with luggage, and it is very warm. Temporary check-in is a good choice for catching a train or catching a car!

|3.71km from city centerStayed with 3 friends for one night whilst attending a concert. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't find fault with anything. The hospitality was spot on, the lovely gentleman that greeted us was so pleasant, the 3 bed room was perfectly suited to our needs and the beds so comfortable, we all had a great nights sleep. We sat outside in the sunshine for breakfast and what a treat that was, all freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. We will be returning at some stage. Great hotel, great staff and wonderful food.

|3.06km from city centerAlthough the furniture in the room is a bit old, the layout of the wire socket is not beautiful, but the owner's service is in place and responsive. The breakfast was also good. The host also reminded us that if we want to finish the meal at eight o'clock, we can go to the restaurant at 7:30 to save the waiting time. There is a large collection of masters in the restaurant that are worth watching. The host is a Chinese couple, who has a convenient conversation and also pointed us to a delicious Chinese restaurant.

|0.37km from city centerUnique food, impeccable service! I attended a large dinner in the ballroom. The chandeliers and lighting in the room created a beautiful atmosphere. The servers were kind and attentive. Main course was a unique aubergine dish - something out of the ordinary - and it was wonderfully prepared. I’ve eaten at The Alice for dinner as well as tea, and now I know that banquets are as delicious as the restaurant.
