I absolutely loved my stay at Andaz, and will return next time I visit Savannah. As soon as you walk in, someone is there to open the door for you and the front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect and how it should be for my stay. Beyond the front desk they have a small area where guests can get a variety of snacks, drinks, and alcoholic beverages for free. I ended up going to the hotel bar two nights in a row because of how pleasant an experience it was. The woman working the bar homemade many of the cocktail ingredients like fresh lavender simple syrup and whipped cream. I was impressed by the quality of the drinks and loved making conversation with the bartender, she was great! I highly recommend having a drink at the bar when you visit, it is well worth it. My room was on the 6th floor and had a beautiful view over the city. The location of the hotel is also fantastic. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go, and never had to Uber or take my car out. My three night stay was wonderful, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a convenient location and receive outstanding service.

Was nice hotel. But unnecessary things where shut down due to virus. Like parking garage. So parking was very slim. Also charged a deposit hold in card and was not informed of this. Staff could have been a little more helpful. But overall was a good location and nice hotel for price .

Suitable for children, it is too expensive to park in the parking lot next to it. Good location right by the river. Be sure to check the credit card bill. The original payment was made on Ctrip, and more than 170 US dollars were deducted from the credit card. The hotel was called in time before being returned.

My husband and myself visit Savannah very frequently. Usually we stay at The Mansion at Forsyth or Marriot on the River. But my favorite is the Mansion. This year we decided we wanted to stay on the water, but also have the luxury of the Mansion. The Bohemian and the Mansion are both Kessler properties, so we decided to stay at the Bohemian so we could get both a wonderful view never the river and the luxury we wanted. It was a great choose. We had a room with a balcony and view of the river and river street, great for some people watching! Their is a lounge on the roof, where you can eat and get a cocktail. We have also stayed at The Bohemian in Charleston and loved it also! The Kessler properties have never disappointed us!

The Drayton hotel has been freshly remodeled and the rooms are beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere!!! The staff was very friendly especially the valet/door guys. Only two negatives: there is no parking especially for trucks. No big deal- there is a parking garage with 8’ height about 2 blocks away. Also, they just remodeled their beautiful rooftop bar but it was closed. Be sure to inquire when you make reservations to see if it is open. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient for walking around Savannah. Once we parked the truck, we didn’t need it again until we checked out.

It is said to be the most historic hotel in Savannah. Once you enter the hotel, you can feel its classical elegance. The doorman is very enthusiastic and the front desk service is very attentive. We arrived too early, the room had not been sorted out, and we specially left our phone. We noticed that we had checked in when the room came out. In the lobby and other family procedures, I also specially brought free mineral water. The room is wooden and the furniture is old furniture. Have a strong sense of art. It is worthy of being a hotel in the city of Savannah with a strong artistic atmosphere.

We absolutely love the location of Planter’s Inn. Just a 5-minute walk to River Street, it’s right next door to The Olde Pink House, a 3-minute walk to Leopold’s, and lots of other restaurants and shops close by. Ray, the front desk clerk when we checked in was so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, although some of the furniture is beginning to look a little worn. We were disappointed that because of Covid, they weren’t serving breakfast, but they recommended Henry’s right around the corner, and it was so good that we ate there all 3 mornings that we were there. I enjoyed morning coffee in our room, but wish that we had some packages of decaf coffee in addition to the regular Wolfgang Puck coffee. When we first arrived our room and the hallway had a very strong, but pleasant smell, but after the first day we began smelling a musty, mildewy smell, which leads me to wonder if the strong smell that we smelled upon arrival was an effort to cover up the mildewy smell. There were two problems with our room (Room 401) that we brought to the desk clerk’s attention (I don’t remember that gentleman’s name) but he didn’t apologize or really seem to be concerned. The first problem was with the bathroom light over the sink. It would randomly come on and then turn off a few minutes later. The desk clerk said that it was on some type of sensor, but if I’m getting ready in front of the mirror with the light turned on, why would it randomly turn off all of a sudden with me standing right there? It wasn’t a flicker, as if it had a short in it. It would be on for about 3 minutes and then turn off for about 3 minutes. My husband and I joked that it must be one of the “ghosts”. The second problem was inside our closet. One of the ceiling panels had fallen halfway off and was just hanging there. Something from above had leaked onto the items that we had placed on the shelf before the ceiling panel came loose. I’m including a photo of the panel that was hanging and also a photo of the wet spot on the shelf from whatever was leaking. Overall though, we loved our stay and will definitely return in the future.

My wife and I spent two weekend nights at this property in the historic district. The property is in a great location and the facility modern and comfortable with appropriate amenities. Unfortunately, there are no "self parking" spaces and the valet fee exorbitant. Upon arrival there were two staff at the front desk -- one very friendly while one was cold and almost rude. A little while after checking in I received a text welcoming me and asking if everything was acceptable in our room. In my text response I reported that one wall-mounted night stand was not level and that the table in the room was similarly damaged and unusable, also the windows of our second floor window were filthy. While none of these situations is unbearable and my intention was for them to deal with them at an appropriate time, their response was, "Thank you...I will be sure to share this with our General Manager." I'm sure this was an auto reply. Very disappointing. All this to say that it is a great location, but be prepared to pay a lot for parking and to have to potentially deal with grumpy staff. Remember, try to get a room that faces AWAY from Bay Street.

The hotel is more appropriate, the location is close to River Street, the furniture is not too new, but it is very clean, the configuration is higher than the domestic Jinjiang Star and Home Inn (of course, the weekend price is too high), the refrigerator iron has The window air conditioner is slightly noisy, the bath is hot enough, the car is parked outside the room, 21 knives a night, American free breakfast, the variety is quite satisfactory, no problem. It may be too close to the road and it is a bit noisy at night. Classmates, come to the United States to bring their own toothpaste toothbrushes and slippers. In addition, it is said that parking on the road on Sunday is free.

Terrific view, comfortable bed, tastefully decorated. Steven and Chris took good care of us from a valet/parking perspective, and Mimi took good care of us from a front-desk perspective. The other two front-desk people with whom we interacted during our 5-day stay “dropped the ball” several times, but ultimately, we left with a positive feeling about our stay. It’s a shame all their employees aren’t as wonderful as Mimi. We did have a loss of hot water for 1-1/2 days, but maintenance came to the room and fixed whatever the problem was. We had a river-view room, so the roaring vehicles on the cobblestone, blaring music from cars, and late-late, loud-loud party crowd were tough on Saturday night and Sunday night, but settled beautifully for Monday night and Tuesday night. Morning views of ships were breathtaking and reviving. The only real issue that we had a truly hard time with was the trumpet-player who has a license to play at all hours (apparently), and plays mostly jingles and snippets from TV/movie theme songs...Looney Tunes, Bunny Hop, If You’re Happy and Ya Know It, Rocky, Flintstones, Superman. He does not play well—sort of like a pre-teen still learning. He played facing the balconies, and it was awful—loud, incessant, long into the night (2 am), and unromantic choices. I mean, if there’s gonna be trumpeting, how about blues, jazz, something mellow as the night stretches-out. Due to sheer exhaustion and some honest annoyance, I gently spoke to the front desk on the third morning, and was told nothing can be done because he has a license. This trumpeter is the only snag in an otherwise wonderful honeymoon. It seems minor until you can’t get away from the noise for hours and hours on end. Glad he is making a joyful noise, but man, make it somewhere else, take breaks, and stop it earlier in the evening. I like to hear a well-played trumpet now and then, but that’s not what we’re talking about here. :(

Booked this through Hotwire while enroute (which I've learned puts you at the bottom of the importance level as a guest and generally gets you the worst room). Super easy to valet park ($35 a night - not unusual in Savannah). Easy check in. They gave us a handicap accessible room (I can never understand why they do that unless they're full - which they were not). The room looked out on the lap pool, and was at the same level. The pool was literally four to five feet from the window. Handicap room, so blinds are on a remote which you have to figure out so you can open and close them. In the morning, there were children swimming and screaming at 7:30 AM...and we couldn't open the blinds because they were RIGHT there. Plug was broken in the lamp so my phone didn't charge. Handicap shower meant the bathroom was basically flooded. Water in the shower never got even close to hot. The sink is outside the bathroom, which is quite inconvenient from a noise / light perspective in the middle of the night. Very walkable location, but there are way better options in Savannah.

First of all, the staff couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. I'm mobility challenged so they gave me a room on the first floor and close to the lobby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I slept like a baby. Rooms have a microwave, a mini fridge and a single coffee maker and you can get all the coffee supplies you want from the front desk. They took all covid precautions. Instead of the free continental breakfast, they had a bag with an apple, a muffin and a granola bar you could pick up at the front desk. Besides having coffee in your room, you could get coffee and juice from the dispensers in the breakfast area. I don't see how you could beat this place for the price. I felt safe at all times.

My family have stayed at this hotel over the years traveling to Florida to break up our long ride. We have always had a pretty good experience until this year. On our trip down both of our rooms (we rent two each trip) were poorly cleaned with hair (not ours) in the bathroom, a shower that needed a good scrubbing and in general not the cleanest room. This was never an issue in our past trips so we were surprised. Now, on our return trip home (we decided to give them another chance) we have the same issue again. The staff here are very nice and have listened to our concerns and seem genuine in trying to fix this issue, but for us on this trip, it does not fix the issue. The hotel is average, needs some refreshing in general, but I have no issues with that, all hotels at some point go through those times. Constructively, they need to have their cleaning staff doing a better job, this will go a long way in keeping guest happy, with most guest overlooking the aged property I believe. We have decided on next trip down we will try another property, probably the Hampton Inn next door. I will be letting Marriott know of our experience in hopes they will focus on these issues. I travel a lot on business and use the three big hotel brands and in general across all of their sub brands have no issues, this I must says was one of my worst. I travel a lot and can be pretty forgiving on little things, but cleanliness is not one of those. For now, we will not be staying here in the future.

Wonderful stay! Cannot wait to return. The hotel combines elegant southern charm and bohemian art flawlessly. The staff is incredible. Everyone was very kind and attentive. You feel welcome from the moment you pull up to the hotel. The staff made our trip to celebrate my birthday feel extra special. Fantastic location. Forsyth Park is right across the street and everything you could want for local Savanah flare/flavor is within walking distance. Absolutely recommend walking everywhere. The multiple parks and city landscaping do not disappoint. A variety of local shops, cafes and art galleries can be found on almost every block.

It is obvious to me that the GM has created a culture of customer service at Country Inn and Suites. Monisha specifically was gracious and absolutely handled anything to do with my experience in a very friendly, efficient manner. The entire staff I must say from the ones who clean rooms to the younger staff on weekends were always wearing a smile and more than willing to go out of their way if necessary. I would recommend this location to anyone who may be either staying for one night or like myself for the week. I just hope your experience provides you the opportunity to go online and complete a 5 Star Review as mine has this past week. Thanks again to Monisha for all her help.

Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Hotel is very simplistic with no frills. Ok for an overnight stay passing through. A few days after our stay I noticed we were charged twice for stay, I understand pre-authorization as I work in the hotel industry myself. I waited a few days, extra charged did not drop off the card. I called and was told to wait another week. Now it's been 3 weeks, still no credit to my account. I called over the weekend and was informed only the manager could issue credit and was told to call back. Now I've called back and she went from being in the office at 9am today, to the new story might be in this evening. This is unacceptable practice and I'll reach out to Wyndham and the owners of the hotel next. Beware if you are staying here, I had read an previous post about the same issue.

The price is relatively low. Breakfast is super simple buffet. A baby cot can be added, and other beds cannot be added. The room and living room are very small. Although there is a sofa bed in the living room, there is almost no space for the living room after opening. There is a parking lot but there is an additional charge. The location of the hotel is also far from the river, about 20-30 minutes. Based on the above situation, I feel that the hotel's price/performance ratio is not high! I don't understand why there are so many praises...

The staff is fantastic. I was greeted by everyone several times a day. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there. The hotel is in a great location and has a roof top bar that has a great view. There is a heated pool on the roof too! The breakfast was perfect. And coffee was hot and fresh all day long. The rooms were clean and had everything you could need. We cooked an entire meal in the kitchen. There was a slight problem during our trip where our room was too close to the roof top bar and it was a bit noisy. (We are a family with young kids) I'm sure being this close to the bar would be great for some folks. I brought up the problem to the staff and it was immediately handled with kindness and professionalism. I was absolutely happy with their solution. We traveled during a tough time at the very beginning of this scare with coronavirus. I am sure the staff was just as wary as the rest of us but they continued to do their jobs with excellence. I was blown away by this experience and will absolutely look to stay here again!

I want to begin by saying this was a great place to spend our day. My father had to have an out-patient procedure at St. Joseph's hospital and because of the restrictions due to COVID-19, my mother and I were not able to stay at the hospital with him. After we dropped him off, we drove around the corner and stopped here to see if we could rent a room to spend the next few hours (it ended up being 9 hours). The owner/manager was gracious enough to rent us a room immediately (we literally checked in at 8:30 AM). We were not cramped up in a vehicle, we didn't have to spend 9 hours at the local Walmart, we had a place to rest. Please know, this wasn't a "free" stay, and we didn't expect it to be, but it was nice of them to allow us to do that while we waited on our loved one.

There’s also a Denny’s a ‘stone’s throw’ away. Room was actually spacious (but still has carpet which one may ask for one without?). We decided on a last minute weekend in Savannah for my birthday. Since it was last minute, I didn't have time to find a place for my dogs to stay so we found this place with a very nice pet policy. As the owner of 2 pit bulls, we face a lot of issues in general... most places have size restrictions, only take 1 pet, or freak out when they hear pit bull. None of that here. There is a small deposit for the dogs, but compared to other places, it's really not bad at all. We got in late Friday night so they had given us the code and left the key and directions to our room at the desk. Our room was nice with a king size bed and a very nice modern shower. The bed sat up pretty high, which made it a little difficult to get in and out of. It was a bit firm for my tastes, but I find this true with nearly every hotel or B&B I've stayed in. We ate breakfast both mornings we were there and while the menu options are small, both times our food was great. Everything was clearly fresh and the banana muffins and biscuits were great. We also appreciated the fruit as well. Our room was the Wrest House room, 401. It sits in the front of the building. This was our biggest complaint over all. Despite being on the top floor, you could hear everything on the street. And I do mean EVERYTHING. The trash truck, drunks yelling at 3 am, car doors closing.... everything. Which made my dogs jumpy as I have one who is very sound reactive. Which brings me to the place being pet friendly..... you couldn't ask for more out of a place if you have pets with you. While they were good while we were gone Saturday during the day, they apparently were a little upset Saturday evening when we left for dinner. We got a phone call saying they were making some noise and the person in the room next to us had complained. They apologized profusely for interrupting our evening and asked if there was anything they could do to settle the dogs down a little so we didn't have to come back. She even offered to go get them some sausage from the kitchen and walk them in the park across the street. Thankfully we had only left for dinner and didn't plan on being gone all night, so we got back in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately they hadn't settled down. It was a nice evening so she had brought them down to the courtyard and tied them out until we could get back, which was fine. She kept apologizing for having to interrupt the night. I felt bad they had disturbed any other guests. Unfortunately we haven't traveled a lot like this and it was actually the first time for them to be left in a hotel so they were a little uneasy anyway. But staff did everything they could to try to make it better for them. Seriously, they completely won me over. We found out the next morning that the couple who complained had checked out, in part because of my dogs. Eeek. However, they assured me they were not worried about it and that the dogs really hadn't been a big deal. That they

Green Palm Inn is located on the eastern edge of the historic district of Savannah making it a bit of a hike to most of the major attractions. The area is fairly quiet but parking (when you can't use the limited parking available at the B&B) is limited and expensive. The nearest "hop on, hop off" bus stop is about 2 1/2 blocks from the property. The B&B itself consists of four second-story rooms, decorated in an eclectic Victorian fashion. There is actually too much stuff (pillows, bric-a-brac etc.) in each room and it takes away from the visitors' ability to find place to put their own things. We stayed in two different rooms, one large and commodious with a king size bed and the other, rather small. Each room had a smallish TV but I could get neither to work. While this would normally not matter, we were at the very beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak and were anxious for news. Our hosts Rob and Angela were very knowledgeable about the area. Their ever friendly dog was a regular presence. Breakfast consisted of a single entrée that was generally very good. There were no options. There was no cereal/yogurt bar. Fruit availability was limited to bananas. Coffee was available from early in the morning and there were coffeemakers in each room. Wine, cookies and some candies were available in the evenings.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Justine Inn for our first Valentine's Day together. We had read and heard great things about them and they were great about responding if we had any questions prior to our arrival. On our way down, we knew we were going to arrive early so we called ahead to check and see if it was ok for us to park there early if there were any spots available and then check in once check in time rolled around, we were told that if there was a spot available it would be fine to park there. So we arrived early and just walked inside to let the host at the time know that it was our car parked there and we were going to go explore the town and come back after check in time. She was not very courteous to us letting her know this and it threw us off a little, because we had read on here how great the hosts were (granting we did understand that she and the cleaning staff were working on getting everything ready for us and the other guests checking in). We asked if she knew of any good places to eat and she did give us a suggestion, which was nice of her. Our biggest issue was with the Private Dinner they had offered for Valentine's night. The food was way under cooked for our tastes and very under seasoned (We ended up having to go out to eat after the dinner because my gf could not eat that food, which costs us more money). Also the Inn needs to update some of their decor (our room had a hole in the rug which was kind of gross.

My husband surprised me with a little get away to Savannah. I was so surprised with his Bed and Breakfast choice!! Patty and Suzy were wonderful host!! They both make you feel right at home!! From starting off your day with gourmet breakfast to southern style treats in the afternoon, to wine and cheese before you go out to dinner and then coming back to a sweet treat. The inn provides a comfortable gathering area to sit and read and visit with other guest and have a cup of tea. Our room was on the top floor! Loved everything about it. Gave my husband a very comfy couch to watch his tv and a space for me to read. Be sure to check out the concert series from the Savannah Civic Center. The hotel has a separate parking garage for a fee of 12 knives. Breakfast is free, and there is a machine for making waffles, you can eat it yourself, not bad. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean.
