Augusta
|7.48km from city centerWe were greeted with friendly front door staff evertime we entered the hotel. The front reception/sitting area is rather large and the fire place was on making for a warm reception on this chilly evening. The room itself is very nice, the kitchen has two burners, a microwave, a full fridge and dishes for a family of four as well as pots and pan. There is a desk area with space to spread out and a lamp. The sofa is a hotel sofa, so stiff and not too comfy but clean. The large TV is in between the sofa and bed so it could be seen from either but would need to be turned. A turntable for the TV would be a nice addition. The shower was clean with glass sliding doors and shower gel/conditioner and shampoo available. The water was very hot! It was a really nice shower. The bed was comfortable, pillows are a tad too soft for me, but there are two so you can pile them up. The room AC is adjustable and definitely heated and cooled well. The room was vacuumed and appeared clean, but was dusty behind the TV (we had to pull it out as the cable was misbehaving) and the bottom of the lamps/baseboards are dusty. The free breakfast was nice! Sometimes the hotel breaksfasts are meager. This was not. First day was biscuits, gravy, sausage, pre made omelets (slightly rubbery), oatmeal with fruit, brown sugar and nuts, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, milk and tea. Second day was grits instead of oatmeal and potatoes instead of biscuits. The ladies in the breakfast area are soo sweet. One of them told me today that they take care of their customers and this is the best Homewood suites, she just wishes she could stay here :). apparently you can't stay if you work here. They were So kind and attentive. If we ever ran into staff they smiled and were kind. My husband said to me ”they must have good management to have staff who appear happy”. In the eating area: The seats were clean, available and no crumbs etc on the tables. Outside the parking lot is well lit, but some of the parking lot is a dirt lot which was not as nice. Overall I am very grateful to have found this hotel. GREAT stay. It was too cold to even think about the hotel pool...so I don't know and did not visit the gym. I did notice that there were construction workers staying here, and using the grill out back two evenings we were here. I thought that was great that they had that as an option. It says something that people are staying here for long term stays. I saw a travel nurse here as well. You can't go wrong staying here! I saw one of the negative reviews, she was NOT reviewing this hotel. She must have picked the wrong one to review by accident. This is a nice hotel!

|5.1km from city centerWe have stayed at this hotel twice and can’t say enough about the hotel, staff, and service! The hotel is clean, well-decorated, and affordable—-cheerful and comfortable. Everyone is friendly and kind. A special shout-out to employee, Heather Thompson, who went above and beyond to extend our reservation and make our stay the best while we were dealing with a hospitalized family member. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

|5.05km from city centerWe were in town for my grandson’s surgery so it was an extended stay. We made the right choice with this particular Best Western location. The amenities were great and the staff very kind and accommodating whenever we had a need. It’s very decent for the price and we will definitely stay again if we’re in the area again. Thanks!

|4.6km from city centerI stay here frequently whenever I’m working in augusta, the hotel is typical for the price range. The reason I keep coming back and this is my hotel is because of Dianne at the front desk. He is a top notch desk person, made me feel like I’d been a loyal customer for 30 years from the very first time I walked in the door.

|7.1km from city centerPros: friendly staff, room was spacious and clean, everything worked, wifi good, public areas were clean, plenty of parking. The hotel was fairly empty. Washing machine looked new. Cons: the chair for the desk was an ordinary chair and was too low for the desk. The entrance from the street isn’t well marked. The parking lot is sloped downward, which gives it charm, but loading a luggage cart and pulling it up to the door is difficult. General: no breakfast. Probably most hotels are like that these days. Overall: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Wifi: 5/5

|8.26km from city centerVery clean hotel. Beds are extremely comfy! The front desk agent Joy was very helpful and most attentive almost felt like a concierge experience. The hotel is a new construction situated on a medical campus. Across the street from the hotel is one of the top Burn Center hospitals in the country, Doctor’s Hospital of Augusta. I give this hotel four stars out of five.

|0.48km from city centerThis pls e use to have the most amazing food. Incomparable to any hotel around. Now, breakfast should include rhe buffet still advertised on hotel sites. There is no lunch when the mention of their fried chicken would make my mouth water, but you cant even get a cracker. Dinner is extremely delicious but extremely expensive as well. The staff (In the Restaurant ONLY) needs to find employment in a cubicle bc guests should be treated with special care when they are relying in you as part of their wonderful travel experience in order to have the need to
bother with coming back here. However, the housekeeping, front desk amd especially the Bellman, Mr. John was most helpful and kind as well.

|5.2km from city centerThe hotel is in a GREAT location! The manager was super cool, funny and friendly. The rooms were updated and smelled GREAT! The beds were soft and comfortable. The water pressure was good and the water stayed hot during my entire shower. I would definitely refer this hotel to friends and family members. This is the only hotel I will be staying at from now on 👍

Augusta
|4.94km from city centerThis was disappointing for a Courtyard. The staff was excellent, but the hotel is older and just updated. They didn’t bother to remove the popcorn ceiling. It still felt dated. Our room smelled musty, the tub dripped water, and the windows are original so you can hear people and cars in parking lot. The pillows are nice, the bed is harder than what we’ve been doing over the last week. Pets allowed so maybe that’s the musty smell? The photos shows a fire pit area, well there’s no fire or cushions on the chairs. Starbucks picture is just black coffee with only 3 flavor pumps they would add. This isn’t a Starbucks. You’re better to drive to the corner for real Starbucks. Quesadilla breakfast was very good, and cost $9.50. I would not recommend.

|7.25km from city centerVery clean hotel! Had a one night just to sleep stay. Pleased with how clean the hotel was. The staff were all very polite. Every staff member we came across said hello. Upon checking in the staff member was super pleasant and very helpful. The suite room 222 we stayed in looked to have new carpet and new furniture. Even the bathroom baseboards were super clean. Had a hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels and cold things as well. My only take away is the towels were a little rough but I’ll stay again if I was in the area.

|4.91km from city centerEvery single employee we had interaction with before and during our stay was helpful, professional and kind. This hotel is safe and secure. Offers free shuttle and went out of their way to take care of all the people going to a concert at the Bell! There is a free breakfast daily, the pancake machine was broken but the other choices were good. We also enjoyed a glass wine at the Managers reception on Tuesday. Thank you so much! We'll see you next time we are in Augusta! Another downtown hotel had the cars broken into. We had no problem with the security of our cars at this hotel.

|6.23km from city centerThe hotel is central to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Easy to get around the area with lots of parking onsite. The room has a separate living room and bedroom. The extra space is a nice perk, along with a full kitchen area. I would stay here again.

Augusta
|5.25km from city centerDidn't enjoy this stay as much as the first two stays. Maybe it was the fact that they were getting ready for the master's and in a hurry. When I entered my room, the new carpet made it hard to open the door. Once inside, I realized that the carpet had not been vacuumed. It looked like it may have been paint chips or something. I also did not like the fact that the cups & ice bucket was kept in the bathroom, where I had no wash clothes & saw a couple of roaches. All in all, I'm willing to give second chances & will stay again after the master's is over. I still like the location and the prices.

|4.94km from city centerI was reluctant to stay at this hotel because of a past experience which wasn't so good. I am so happy I decided to stay here because upon arrival, I met the nicest person at the front desk. Her smile was very warm and she was very nice, which made me very comfortable. The overall atmosphere here ”now” is very welcoming and pleasant! Thank you so much for changing management and bringing Ms. Inez here as Manager. She works very hard to keep the hotel clean, which includes the laundry. The rooms are cleaner and smells amazing when walking into them. The staff here doesn't look stressed as before, and I enjoy staying here. None of this was the case before. Thank you Sleep Inn and thank you Ms. Inez for making a huge difference here!! You are greatly appreciated!! Bri...

|4.44km from city centerI have stayed at many hotels in the area during my travels but Country Inn and Suites is the BEST by far. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The cleaning staff is thorough and rooms are always clean, fresh and inviting. The hotel is located in a prime area near I20 and many great restaurants. The staff is very courteous and are aimed to please. The breakfast offers a variety of choices and its really good. Although I don't swim but there is an indoor pool that I see others enjoying very much. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I will return again soon.

Augusta
|11.12km from city centerMy work took me to Augusta and I was booked into this room at, what turned out to be, the perfect spot for me! This hotel is older (but has been updated) and is pet-friendly. There is no actual ”kitchen” in the rooms but there is a microwave, lots of cabinets, and a fridge/freezer that is quite substantial in size. I rarely ”do” fast-food, so was especially pleased with the spacious compartments in the fridge/freezer. This hotel is convenient to I20 and Fort Gordon and very reasonably priced. There are also many options for various types of dining/shopping nearby. This place is also handicapped accessible (including the pool), has laundry room (small, but I never had problems), fitness room (again, small but no issues) and price includes breakfast. Staff is very friendly. I recommended it to two other co-workers and they are also pleased. Travel date options on this review are limited so I will address those here: I was there for three weeks in 03/10, then again (9wks) from late Sept-Thanksgiving. This hotel seems to be popular with construction workers and truckers, but I have seen many different types of travelers during my stays and I was never bothered by outside (nor room-to-room) noise that could disturb my sleep.

|4.5km from city centerI recently stayed at the Quality Inn at 2562 Center West Pkwy, Augusta, GA. To my delight, it was a lovely place to be. Traveling by myself, I still secured a room with a king bed and all the TV channels I wanted. I was visiting to help my daughter in moving to an apartment, but the welcoming retreat of this Quality Inn made my work much lighter. The staff were very kind and gave me whatever extra I needed. The QI also offered a hot breakfast, either for eat in or to grab and hit the road. I wholeheartedly recommend this Quality Inn as a helpful and gracious place to stay in the Augusta area. They were just the best!

Augusta
|7.18km from city centerI was pleasantly surprised by how large the suite was. There was actual room to move around in the bathroom and plenty of room to spread out my various luggage. I only have a couple minor drawbacks. The king bed was basically a couple of cot frames with a large mattress, which left one side noticeably higher than the other. There was also no appreciable blanket on the bed. It was more like a thin throw blanket, which required me to fetch a fleece blanket from my vehicle to stay warm.
The televisions are rather small, which wasn't a huge deal except for the few hours I was in the room, and the sofa was not comfortable to sit on for very long. This was somewhat due to it being a sofa bed, but it was definitely showing its age. These were not very troublesome due to how little time I was in the room each day, but a longer stay would have made these painful to put up with.

The only thing is the TV kept losing channel's Only Roko channel's.. The breakfast needs more healthy choices. The guy that was making breakfast was making me feel alittle uncomfortable just watching. Most likely will not go back. Thank you to the lady at the front desk.
