I really loved this hotel. The front desk people were super nice! I can’t remember the girl’s name (she was East African) she was the sweetest! Gave my Hunnie a free drink for his birthday. The security was super nice as well. Very diverse staff who were all super nice. Will def stay there again. The room was super clean and nicely decorated. Loved the bathroom. It was all white and super clean. The location is great in downtown. We walked to dinner at Mitchell’s. Breakfast from the restaurant wasn’t that great.

Was told by hilton representatives that this hotel has a juquzzi tub in the room and they have rooms available. So I book it and cut my night short. They charge you to park at their hotel...wtf.???!!??!! I get to the room and no juquzzi tub. Front desk said they have no rooms with juquzzi tub. I wasn't happy for sure. Its 11pm or so when I arrive now i have to look for a different hotel bc Im not going to stay at a placed that lied just to get me there, pay for parking at hotel, and just the valu for their price wasn't there.

The staff there is friendly and the hotel is clean, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. I have stayed there several times, and while it has always been overpriced, but ok, this visit was unacceptable to me. My 2 room, guaranteed reservation by credit card, was not honored, and my colleague was sent to a Red Roof Inn as the hotel was "overbooked". So be aware guaranteed may still mean you do not have a room there. The onsite restaurant was out of menu items both for dinner and breakfast, with the staff saying they did not order enough. My room this time was tiny and cramped, but they do have larger rooms. Still, I paid the same for this tiny room with a sink right at the door that had no counter space. It also has stairs up to the elevators, so be aware of that as there is no elevator there. I feel this property is overpriced, and you are required to valet park for $28 per day. I am very disheartened by this experience and no one from hotel management ever contacted myself or my colleague to explain why they did not have a room that they would have gladly charged my credit card for if we were a no show.

The lobby area is beautiful, though not as gorgeous as another Marriott downtown. The blue prints of the bank were a nice touch but wish a bit more was kept to make it look like it's former self. Location was great but as mentioned in another review, lots of beggars. It's pet friendly but have to walk two blocks to a grassy area. Almost every time I either passed a homeless person and/or was asked for money for the bus, since there seems to be a bus stop at every corner. Saw one guy sitting at an outside cafe table last night and this morning noticed he left it trashed with cigarette butts on the chair and the 4 pack ring and other garbage on the table. I arrived around 7:30pm on a Monday and waited and waited for valet. I finally got all my stuff out the car and dragged it inside. Front desk had to call valet to come get my keys. Front desk acknowledged I was a gold member and gave me my room key before I could ask for an upgrade. I get to my room, not an upgrade and discover a pitcher turned sideways in the fridge door, which probably explains why the floor was practically flooded. The bed also was quite saggy in the middle. Oh and the temp was turned to 90 degrees. I went back down to the front desk and was given the exact same room number, two floors higher. My member profile says I like the highest floor possible. So no upgrade and problems with the first room. Second room seemed okay but on my second night I went to use the silverware and a spoon had obviously not been washed (coffee marks) and other pieces were questionable. I had used a few glasses but found some that looked questionable. They don't give you the mini dish soap either so you can wash up just a few items by hand. The stopper for the bath tub was also missing, which isn't awful but why wasn't it reported and fixed? One plus was the filtered water available but the sundry store was pretty bare outside of water and soft drinks. The gym was standard though the bike plug looked out of code. The first night there I had come from shopping and dinner before I checked in so I got a glass of wine and buckeyes to enjoy in my room. The next night I went to Christmas Eve service and then used the Due Amici gift certificates that were part of my hotel package (that I had to remind the check in girl about). As church was long and hot, I just got water with dinner. I then walked to the lights in the commons and down a few more blocks exploring some decorations. I was very much looking forward to a snack and glass of wine when I got back at 8:45pm. But the restaurant had closed at 8pm with no notice. The only thing open was a bar across the street but as a married woman traveling by herself, not the place I wanted to be on Christmas Eve. If they would have put up signs warning of early closing, I would have purchased something before my walk. At breakfast this morning, the brie wasn't re-filled and the waffle maker was broken. This Renaissance property is fairly typical for the brand and is a convenient downtown location. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Check-in was efficient but for some reason, they were not able to provide a mobile key. On the morning of my arrival, I received an email thanking me for staying (past tense) with folio attached. Concierge lounge was typical but when I walked in at about 9:15PM the staff person look at me and went right back to cleaning a table. I asked about hot water for tea and she pointed and said "use that machine and read the sign on the wall for directions." I don't expect to be waited on but it just didn't seem like the most guest-friendly response. Overnight I received the typical emailed receipt. I checked it and saw that I had been charged $28 for parking. I called the front desk and the person I talked to didn't seem to want to be bothered. I explained the $28 charge and asked if there was a reason I was charged for parking. The answer was "we have no way of knowing who is parking and who isn't." I challenged that answer and was quickly told "if you want me to remove the charge I will but I have no control over the systems we use and we are having problems with them." Saw a colleague in the lobby and told them to check their receipt and sure enough, they were charged $10 for parking.

Hyatt's hotel is a bit old, the facilities are old, the room is quite big, for the United States, such a five-star in the country can only be considered Samsung's place is generally OK! However, we booked the advanced king room and prepaid the full price to guarantee. After that, we still told us that the big bed room was gone, and finally only gave us a double bed! The front desk said that we would change it the next day but we didn't mention it until we checked out! We are not going to care about these when we go on a business trip! There are very few breakfast items. There are only five or six things besides omelet. The location is very good. It is in the city center and there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, Columbus is a small city and quiet, this hotel is not bad, give 4 points! Add a sentence, you can see the sunrise 🌅

This should not be called a hotel. It is a high rise motel with wannabe urban chic austerity. The parking situation is absolutely ridiculous!! It is not attached and there is no valet. The desk person said “it is behind the hotel” with no signage or map from the hotel to explain the best place to park and get back to hotel. I landed up going to the Hyatt regency side, getting locked out of walkway when I exited and walking 3 city blocks back to the hotel at night in snow covered sidewalks and an alley!! Plus you can not charge to your room since it is a public unmanned garage. Good grief. I almost just got back in my car and cancelled my business for the next day. Hotels should not cut costs on their guests personal safety. The hotel is new but when I arrived at 8:30 pm the restaurant had closed and bar was closing at 9 pm. So by the time I got back to the hotel after my parking escapade it was 9:15 pm. Luckily I had some yogurt and an apple and a jar of peanut butter. I did not see an area where you could purchase snacks or sundries as at other hotels. The suite 508 was nice and large but the whole barn door thing and hanging light bulbs are not my style. I did like the industrial style closet/luggage dressers. Nice iron and mini ironing board. And wall hooks for toiletries bags. Separate vanity area with lighting and a stool were nice but I stubbed my toe on the barrel shaped iron of chair bottom at night. It seemed relatively clean but then I found purple wrappers all over the floor beside the night table. Yuck. I had brought my lysol and sprayed the room but still how well did they clean if paper wrappers were missed. The refrigerator drawer is nice but no microwave? Air/heat would not go below 68 and I was hot the entire night. Plus air/heat really loud and makes a whomping sound ever so often like it is going to explode. I was not able to try breakfast downstairs. No room service. I called down to the desk to ask about if they had any recommendations on how to find my car and Danny curtly said they do not have maps of the garage. Well they should!! I travel all the time and usually stay at other hotel brands but the company had booked me here for some unknown reason. Hopefully the restaurant will be open tonight or I’m going to splurge and order from Jeff Ruby’s right in front of hotel. Hmm. I wonder if Jeff Ruby’s has valet parking? I will not be back here.

In Ctrip, a hotel has already paid online. As a result, the hotel refused to stay without a room. At that time, it was already 9:00 pm, watching the people of the US emperor stay in a wave, hate the teeth! After Ctrip coordination, I later adjusted this to this hotel... Too tired, I have already slept 1 point!

My mom and I stayed here during my dad's last week of life at The James Cancer Center. The staff was extremely kind and supportive during this week. They remembered me and my mom every time we came through the door, offering words of encouragement. The beds, bedding and pillows were all very comfortable which I was concerned about since I knew each night of good sleep would be critical. I appreciated the quick access to The James from either the highway or the local streets. Overall a great choice when in Columbus--hopefully for happier reasons than mine.

It has been years since I have stayed at this hotel. It is just as beautiful as the 1st week they opened. A friend suggested that I use this Hilton for my wedding night. The Hilton is taking COVID-19 seriously with precautions. That is a plus for my husband and I. They beautifully decorated the room for us prior to arrival. Check in was fast and efficient! That's always a plus. The staff were courtesy and helpful. We will be back soon even if for a quick get away. The beds were comfy. My new husband loved the BLACKOUT curtains. I wish i would have taken pics, the room was to inviting to think about that.

This hotel is a typical Homewood. They offer mini kitchens, separate sleeping area, and pull out couches. There is an indoor pool and an extremely small workout room. Our room and common areas were clean. Breakfast and happy hour are included. I would not rate this near the top Homewoods I have stayed at. However, it was the least expensive in the area and a 10 min drive downtown. The breakfast was ok, not the best. I would stay again.

The suites are GORGEOUS and spacious!! Its really an apartment!!!!! Bright, clean, luxurious, pleasant, ultra comfortable, spacious, up to date and modern. Free Wifi, large screen television, and a landline telephone are included. There is a beautiful large office space with a large well lit desk, office chair on wheels and office lamp in each room!!!! There is also a beautiful large wood closet for clothes, two very large! wood drawers and a large wood coffee table and lovely couch in every room. Also each room contains a mini refrigerator which is spacious, coffee and tea maker with free coffee and tea. The staff are truly divine! They all helped me so much over the 6 monthsI stayed here!!!! The heat and air conditioner were excelelnt. The carpet was bright and attractive as were the walls and wall decorations. The manager is a gem! Professional, experienced, skillfull, friendly, pleasant, calm, helpfull and kind. I have never experienced such great management truly!!! And all the staff excell and enjoy serving their customers!!! I have never had a better hotel stay and I travel a lot and globally. The location is excellent, close to any kind of shopping, entertainment, parks and gymnasiums, cultural, medical or business needs you may have as well as excellent bus service! There is also a large and upscale etertainment and dining area within one block of the hotel. The parking lot is huge, safe and well lit and without any problems of any kind. Free breakfast snacks including hot prepared food and jucies are available and plentifull as well. When the Coronavirus ends, hot freshly cooked food will be avaiable as well. We where on a visit from the uk and this was the cheapest option in Columbus at the time This was the first time I have ever stayed in a hostel. I did not fancy a coed room so I had a private room. It was clean and tidy and the shared bathrooms where also clean. Community areas clean tidy and comfy. The two kitchens well equipped if you fancy cooking your own food. Tea and coffee on tap and breakfast was enough. No fruit loops which was disappointing Robbie 😂 (Uk fruit loops are crap) Free bikes if you want to get around. Robbie is a good host and will help you anyway he can from pointing local bars out and places to eat. Met some very nice interesting people while there from all walks of life. Columbus is a very good city the short north was awesome and busy throughout our 5 night stay. And I could not believe how clean the streets are. Overall this is a hostel it is what it is and I was very pleased with the stay and accommodation.

Room was clean and comfortable. The first night, there was an issue with the hot water, but when I called down to the front desk to ask about it, the gentleman at the front desk (Omar) apologized profusely, explained the situation and let me know that the hot water would be back in about 15 minutes. (And it was!!) The next night, I called down to ask about TV channels, as there was no guide/listing in my room. Omar (again!) explained that there were 2 different channel guides depending on which of the 2 TVs I was viewing in my room. He said I should have both listing in my room and, when I told him I didn't have any, he immediately ran both copies up to me. (Seriously ran...I was on the 4th floor and he was there in less than 3 minutes!) I often work nights and hotels don't always have the best people staffed during the evening hours. Omar was exceptional in providing great customer service and making me feel like a valued guest. The rest of the staff that I encountered were very nice as well. I will definitely stay here again!

We are currently staying at the Drury inn in Dublin Ohio, during the COVID19 pandemic. Lest you think my family is not taking this virus seriously, we are only here because we had a VERY unfortunate sewage back up in our house at an even more unfortunate time. Due to the plumbing and sewage issue, My family of five would be without running water for a minimum of 5 days. Right away we were treated amazingly as we checked in. The hotel is abiding by all of the governors restrictions but that didn't stop them from offering the evening happy hour drinks and snacks to take back to our rooms. They also opened up a closed floor to allow us to have adjoining rooms - necessary with our little ones (ages 8, 6 and 2). The saving grace for the kids has been the pool. Of course we're prepared to leave for the safety of social distancing, however the hotel is pretty empty. Everyone has had gloves on and the food served for breakfast is wrapped individually. When we ordered Door Dash, the hotel staff escorted the driver to the pool area where we ate dinner to minimize the contact to our food. Also, I've had to work remotely this entire time and the wireless has been uninterrupted. Carlos, the GM even called up to our room to let us know they had fresh baked cookies if we wanted to come down. Thank you isn't enough for this amazing staff that I'm fearful will be negatively financially impacted by this pandemic. This place has been a haven during an extremely stressful time. Everyone here has been amazing.

It turns out that if anyone in the hotel smokes or even vapes in a room, the alarms go off in all of the rooms. They are extremely loud and do not have a light associated with them, so you may be ripped out of a deep sleep and be too disoriented to figure out what is happening. This happened at 1 a.m. and again at 8 a.m. We paid for a full night's sleep, but only got a half. The front desk person was friendly and understanding and said that a manager would call us later to address our concerns, but no one ever called. I gave a full account on the Quality Inn satisfaction survey website. They did respond to that by apologizing and promising to try to exceed our expectations and asking us to try again. They did not offer a refund, a gift certificate or any other meaningful sign that this was an unusual experience. It could be a reasonable place to stay, if you have excellent ear plugs, are expecting to be awakened, and can get back to sleep easily afterward. The breakfast was fine. It was clean enough and in good enough repair, considering the price. The employees were friendly and as helpful as they had the power to be.

The Hawthorn Suites was just what was required when our car broke down on a Massachusetts to Kansas drive. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, even allowing us to stay in our room a bit beyond checkout as our car was serviced. We really appreciated their hospitality as well as attention to COVID guidelines; mask-wearing, extra cleaning on surfaces, and the individually-packaged breakfast bags. While I'll echo some of the minor critiques about flooring wear, our room was spacious and bed therein a pleasure to sleep on. With the pet fee, the price was a bit high but the service and comfort amidst the chaos of a car breakdown made this a great stay.

Everything was very clean. My husband did complain that there was no coffee in the lobby, but as I reminded him, this was not the Hampton Inn... The couch in the lounge area was hard, and not particularly comfortable and the TV channels left a lot to be desired. However, you could stream if you had a service (Prime...etc). The staff were very nice, everyone went out of their way to ensure a great stay. The breakfast was very good. There were selections to please most people. The last time I stayed here was about a month after it first opened. The memories were better than the current state. I had read a review about the night check-in crew and all I can say is first impressions really do matter. Both girls at the desk were really “dressed down” and were cleaning g up their food they had been eating when I walked in. The girl was nice enough but not very professional. The elevator had an awful odor and the carpeting looked filthy but I tried to overlook that. The room looked clean but also had that very strange odor. I can’t even explain what it was. The shower had seen better days and really could use a remodel. In fact my daughter who is in college remarked that she wished she brought her shower shoes because it looked grimey. The toilet would randomly run for like 20 seconds and then be quiet but that woke me up several times during the night as well as hallway noise. Breakfast was just nasty. Made pancakes in the machine and they literally were rubbery and raw tasting decided I couldn’t go wrong with oatmeal. Wrong...it was so watery and looked disgusting. I settled for Frosted Flakes. I did hear another lady complain about the oatmeal and said it was her favorite item and the worker went back and made her a bowl. That was nice for her but what about the rest of us. Why not redo the whole batch? How do you mess up oatmeal. When it came time to checkout I literally stopped at the front desk at about 11:15 am and handed my keycards to the gentleman and told him I was checking out. He said he’d take care of it and never offered me a copy of my bill. I just figured it would be emailed. That night about 7 pm I get a call asking if I checked out. I was like yes I only booked one night and I turned my keys in and checked out. He said okays guess I will take you out of our system. I then realized I should check my bill to make sure I wasn’t charged. No email I had to call the next day to confirm I wasn’t charged and asked for a copy of my Bill. It was emailed when I asked but I don’t feel like I should have needed to ask for it. My daughter goes to OSU and I visit frequently but I can’t say I’d stay here again. Drury has Holiday Inn best in so many ways but unfortunately they were booked.

At the point of check in, my room rate was challenged by one receptionist and approved by another receptionist. I had booked my room online through the Marriott website. I had other hotels to choose from but settled here. My room television did not work. I contacted the front desk and was advised to unplug and reconnect “the plug”. It so happen the the television is mounted on top of a desk which afforded a view to the back of the flat screen television. Only thing the power cable was connected to the TV. There were other cables dangling in the back of the TV but, it was not my responsibility to effect repairs to the tv. The tv condition was reported to the front desk and the front desk offered to move us to another room with a working tv. We gladly accepted the offer. The good news is the the tv worked! But there are problems. The floor carpet had several stains and a couple of stains were as large as dinner plates. The hinges on the bad room door were rusty and sickly looking. Would I stay here again? No, not in the next two years. General maintenance and attention to detail should be one of the facets of a great stay. This one night experience missed the mark.

Very good, early and very American, rich in nutrition, in order to attend the graduation ceremony of the daughter, take 26 minutes to reach the auditorium of the school, the auditorium is very big, there is a kitchen, cooked instant noodles and porridge, very good, it is recommended to read Ohio University parents can live here, and cost-effective

It was a surprise to stay at this hotel. The hotel is very new and is a serviced apartment. Breakfast is good, there is a sofa bed in addition to the big bed. Internet TV is very good and the room is very comfortable overall. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, tableware, etc. The hotel can also buy food, fruits and vegetables. There is no need to pay a deposit and you can check out until 1pm. Overall very satisfied, next time you must book in advance, live for a few more days.

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. We were given an end Room that was quite large it felt very clean in the hallway, the room smelled clean even the stairway smelled clean! I love that the pool area was open you just had to reserve it so my 11 year ,old was thrilled that we had two one hour sessions during our 3 day stay where we had the pool all to ourselves. Felt clean and mom could relax.. On the weekend there was only 15 maybe 20 cars at the most there it was very quiet. The to go breakfast that you take back to your Room and heated up wasn't too bad. I noticed a few stains on the carpet that had been very well cleaned and didn't notice till the last day when we are looking around to make sure we had everything. I'm not sure if we be back in this area, it is nice and close 10 min drive to Easton, 45 min to Hocking Hills... but I'll definitely check out a comfort Inn and suites again.
