Hello dear travellers, another week of my business trip was at La Ciotat, hotel Ibis..Almost people who book this location, for sure spend their time at Cote D'azur.,the views here are great..If you have the room at the 3rd floor the back view to the sea is nice..Outside parking, nice staff, breakfast not so various but often are delicious hot baguettes, also when you go out of breakfast, you are welcome to take some fruits with you(thank you).,outside swimming pool and nice rooms(i thought will be smaller),and i didnt had a minibar, but is not so critical, cold lemon water you have in the lobby)..So i would say:i recommend you this hotel..Thank you!!

This hotel is on the beach at St Jean. It has been refurbished recently and the room amenities are fine (great shower, smart TV with Netflix etc). The rooms with the balcony are the ones having - unfortunately we did not have one of these. The swimming pool area just does not work as there are not enough sunbeds, hence we did not really use the pool. The staff are friendly overall though the service can be a bit slow. A nice location for the price.

My son is working in the area for a couple of weeks, so my daughter in law myself and my 3 grandsons joined him for a short break. I read the reviews, and was a bit worried! However, we were going to be late, were told reception shut at 7pm and we were still some distance away, a phone call was made and a very helpful receptionist gave instructions, gate code and apt number and assured us we could check in the next morning which we duly did, no problem at all, the only thing was we had to pay local tax which we weren’t aware of. We had a junior suite on the top floor, large lounge kitchen area with bed settee, double bedroom, bunk beds just inside the front door in a corridor which was a bit odd, but no problem, shower over bath and separate toilet. Clean bedding and towels, we asked for more pillows and were given more with no problem. There is an Aldi next door which was handy! Lovely pool area which was cleaned every evening. It is a bit out of the way with no car, but we walked into the town of la Ciotat to the beach a couple of times with no problem, there is a rocky small beach close by if you just want to sit and watch the sea. The weekend was very busy, seems to be popular for weekend get together. Mid week we had the place to ourselves.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The room decor was tired but eminently practical for a young family. There is also a nice salon to sit in too. If you ask the owner you can park directly outside for free if there is a space.

La Rotonde is a 2 star hotel, so this review is based on it as a 2 star hotel, not as if it were a 4 star establishment. For the purpose of using it as a base to explore the local area it is more than adequate. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff were friendly. Dogs are allowed which was a plus. The location is excellent, with lots within walking distance. I would definitely recommend paying the extra to get the air conditioned rooms as otherwise it would be very hot in the summer. There is a small car-park. It is first come, first served for guests, but if it is full there is a paying car-park just over the road. Would return to la Rotonde.

We’re BW Rewards members and couldn’t find anything available in Cassis. Looking close by, I was struck by a photo of the view from this hotel onto the harbor. Their available rooms (harbor view) were a little pricier than we usually like, but we decided to treat ourselves. So glad we did! Maria and other personnel were super accommodating and pleasant, and the hotel is comfortable, with clean, elegant decor, perfectly located for the best views of the harbor! Our room was very spacious, with a large bathroom (huge shower) and separate toilet. There is a large window between the room and the bathroom, allowing for natural light in the bathroom, with a privacy shade. Features included automatic lighting in closets, safe, mini-bar, lighting and outlets on either side of the bed, immaculate linens, and huge flatscreen TV. Our balconied room, 301, had a perfect view of the harbor with vintage crane designed by Eiffel. At night, there was perfect quiet and, in the morning, beautiful natural light poured into the room. (There are sliding doors out onto the balcony and both sheer and room-darkening shades.) La Ciotat is not far from Cassis and, if you like, you can take an alternate road recommended by Rick Steve’s called la Route des Cretes. It’s a little hair-raising, but scenic! Breakfast was an additional €16 (but we didn’t try it) and underground, secured parking was €12 per day. One evening, we ate at the Italian restaurant a few steps from the hotel, La Vigne à l’Olivier. OMG, so good! While in La Ciotat, we took a boatride along the coast, past Cassis and to the Calanques, and we also hiked (from the closest starting point) to the Calanque d’en Vau. We found La Ciotat to be a delightful alternative to the larger Cassis and highly recommend this BW!

Clean spacious and secure room next to the waterfront. A good breakfast available from 06:30 too. Good ac which is needed in summer. Being an apartment means no daily cleaning but that means no disturbance.

We stayed for 9 nights and it ticked nearly all of the boxes. The breakfast was the only thing that didn't give value for money. It is in a quiet location above the beach with stunning views across the bay. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Easy access to

For a 2 star hotel, we found Hotel Cassitel to be delightful. The rooms are fresh and clean and the bed is comfortable. There are coffee and tea making facilities in the room and our room had a small balcony where we enjoyed sitting and watching the sun go down. The location is perfect and the price good value for money. The front desk was very helpful. We went out for breakfast rather than eating in the hotel. So many places close by. We could not get parking at the hotel but there is public parking close, maybe 5 min walk. Will stay here next time we come to Cassis.
