My husband and I stayed at the Amansara just last weekend for a short staycay during the Covid-19 period (oh they take extra precautions at the property, taking temperatures of guests twice a day, offering masks and hand sanitizers at all times) when Siem Reap has hardly any tourists. It was our first Aman stay and WOW, we are now looking forward to checking out their other properties worldwide. A masterpiece of Khmer architecture, I fell in love with the courtyards upon checking in, the tranquil environment in the heart of Siem Reap will bring your restful soul peace and serenity despite the hustle and bustle around. Sadly they were running on low occupancy (just 1 other guest during our stay) so we got upgraded to a pool suite and offered a super late check-out. The spa was closed but we utilised the gym a couple of times, I must say it's well equipped, and one of the best gyms I've ever been to with state of the art machines. Food was AMAZING, go for their Khmer fare, it varies daily and never disappoints. I literally ate the same dishes everyday when I was there, Chef Daniel was superb, he took care of my food allergies & even shared the rice noodle and porridge recipes with us. For some meals we ordered room service and we were impressed with how the different courses were served just like in the restaurant, first they brought the appetizers, 15 mins later the main dishes came, lastly the dessert. I was picked up by an old school Mercedes Benz from the Sofitel where I was residing at prior, the ride was short but it added to the experience. The property actually offers a range of activities- they change it on a monthly basis depending on season and weather, unfortunately most were suspended during our stay due to Covid so we only managed a short tour of Angkor Wat and some of the surrounding temples, which was good enough for us. The most memorable was how they managed to take my spectacles to an optician to get it fixed over an hour and the effort made by Bunsak, their front desk manager who managed to find us a driver at the very last minute when we departed as our personal driver backed out. These little touches added to our Aman experience, yes it comes with a price but it's definitely worth it for the impeccable service rendered by each and everyone at the Amansara. I miss my home already, thank you Astrid, Daniel, Bunsak, Lohn, Bunheouom, Rata, Sokhy, and Sri Aun for your hospitality and care. Hope our paths will cross again soon! Best wishes, Bong Alison & Bong Steven from Suite 14 (27-29 March)

This is a new (as of this review) service apartment located right across the Royal Palace. It is a 20-30 minute walk from the tourist areas (market and pub street) but it's much closer to the Angkor National Museum (10 - 15 minute walk). It is located in a fairly quiet neighbourhood yet not far from the main street so you can find transportation options easily. There is travel agency, a couple of grocery stores (corner shops), a bar/restaurant and a French-Cambodian restaurant (Chili Pepper) all adjacent to the property. There is also a nice coffee shop a few meters away, just across the main thoroughfare. There is a fancy mall (next to the Angkor National Museum) and a few other fancy malls coming up in the vicinity within walking distance of this property if that is your thing. When I made the booking it included a pick up from the airport in a remork (tuk-tuk). We booked a two bedroom apartment which was clean, modern and spacious. One of the rooms had an en-suite toilet and bathroom whereas the other bathroom and toilet was in the living room. They have televisions in the living room and both bedrooms if that's your thing. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The toilets and bathrooms are clean and modern. Although the bathroom I was in had an issue with hot water in the shower (it was just warm and the flow was intermittent) it wasn't a big deal for me so I did not bother bringing it to their notice. I've been told the breakfast isn't great and they are still improving upon it. We went out for breakfast anyway. If staying in the tourist area is not a criteria for you, I would definitely recommend this property.

FCC Angkor was probably the best choice I've made for my trip in Cambodia! Firstly, the architecture, everything is made to make you feel like home and that's very important! What's more comfortable to feel like you were home ? For me, nothing. Indeed, they made everything possible to make the customer feels unique, to have a beautiful personal space, a perfectly adjusted bathroom, easy access to the swimming pool and the restaurant for a superb breakfast or a typical Cambodian plate. Secondly, the staff, this can really be decisive on your choice and your opinion. This is probably the hardest point. They were just perfect, caring, listening and trying to make every day the best for you. Compared to other hotels where they said "yes yes" and it never happens, at the FCC you barely have time to ask for something that they have already answered in the best possible way! I was impressed by their responsiveness. Thirdly, the area, FCC Angkor is located in a quiet neighborhood in Siem Reap. And it's closed of everything you need, you can walk 5 minutes to be at the market and the city center or walk 5 minutes in the other way to reach the national museum. Perfect to discover a city from the inside ! Fourthly, the services, I used their transport services for my travels to the Temples or even to the restaurant. They leave nothing to chance, they take care of you, they offer you fresh water and towel, they stay next to you if needed. They make you feel like a king! Even the laundry service was good, maybe a little bit expensive but it was done during the day! Spa and wellness, I don't usually spend too much time there. But I did one massage because my neck and my back were destroyed by my hockey season. I took the sport massage, they welcome you with a fresh drink and make you a little foot massage to start. Then you are invited to reach your massage room which is very clean and you have a personal shower for after. I felt relaxed and as if they had replaced my back with a brand new one! Amazing feelings ! You must try it ! Last but not least, the outside bar is just stunning ! They have all the drinks you want and the setting is perfect for sharing a drink and meeting other customers. A real pleasure to taste a local Gin ! Iif you want to relax or have a drink for yourself and discover something other than the other guests, there is the exhibition room which exhibits Cambodian and European artists with incredible stories that will make you travel to a whole different world ! Thank you very much for making my trip to Cambodia an exceptional one!

I had a great experience at J7 Hotel. It was close to Pub Street and there was always a tuk tuk waiting for you. Even though room service was awesome, the local food is way cheaper and just as excellent! There’s a mall across the street. However the best places to eat are in town.

We stayed at the Angkor Panoramic Boutique Hotel for 12 days, and had a fantastic time! The staff were excellent, all polite, friendly and helpful. Always smiling, and met every request including organising tours, laundry and fixing our safe! The room was clean and spacious considering the price, we stayed in a triple room and felt very comfortable. Great comfy beds too. The breakfast was of a good standard, although by the end of 2 weeks we started to get a little tired of eating the same thing every morning! But enjoyed with beautiful views on the rooftop. The location was perfect - a short 10 minute walk to pubstreet, with smaller cafes and restaurants along the way. We felt safe walking along here as 3 girls even at night before 9pm. There was 1 power outage, which lasted a total of 30 seconds and wasnt the fault of the hotel. Would highly recommend, and would return back! Not a luxury stay, but incredible value for money and the staff made it even better!

Family run hotel with very nice staff. Away from the main strip, so much quieter. The room was sufficient, with hot shower. There were lots of mosquitos and no nets in the room. Outside areas could have have been more inviting for relaxing. There were some hammocks and dining tables downstairs, or a small (shared) balcony on upper floor. Our tuk tuk driver at this hotel was superb. His name is Bakert. Make sure to ask for him to take you on the tours to Angkor. He drove us around for two days and was great.

We loved this hotel! The owner Nini was so friendly and helpful, helped us with booking temple tours and excursions and booked our bus from siem reap to Ho Chi Minh too! They have their own tuktuk service whom we arraigned two full day trips for a very reasonable price considering one day we visited 5 temples and the driver waited for us at each one the whole day 8am till 6pm! The following day he took us on a 2 hour drive to the river of 1000 lingas which we assumed would take the whole day but didn’t so he took us to some more small temples to make the most of our time! Couldn’t have asked for a better service! The room was more than we expected for the price we paid using Agoda and was very clean and comfortable. Food served at the hotel is to a good standard and there is a pool you can use at the sister hotel over the road too.

I was worried whether to stay at the airport on the first night, but I decided here because of my heart. I know the goodness of a Japanese inn, but I knew myself that I couldn't do that today, so I thought about throwing me into the Japanese inn. Everyone had their shoes peeled off at the entrance. The inn was usually a fan-only room, but this was good for the time. The clasp that prevents it from opening inside was crushed and was meaningless. The frontman was kind and polite. There were no people in the surveillance but I was looking at the camera and I felt the security was OK. Breakfast was normal, but the proof was dark and I felt that it was a little downside. I could only see the roof next to the room window.

Our double room had a fan, air condition and hot shower. The guesthouse also features a pool, a nice green seating/restaurant area and is nestled in a cozy street. The owner is very friendly and laid back ("no worries!") :-) Since I was feeling a little sick he even let us stay longer than regular check out time.

A glimpse of paradise and a wonderful spot to discover Angkor Temples. The team was very kind and thoughtful and Pascal ( the owner ) had very good tips and stories to discover the area. Rooms were clean and decorated with taste, and the awesome pool is clearly a plus after a day walking through the temples. Definitely a great place to stay with a family!

The location of the hotel is very good, and the front desk staff are also very welcoming. It cannot be compared with international five-star chain brands, but it is a very good choice at this price. The only drawback is that the door cannot be locked automatically when you first move in, and the front desk immediately changed a room. In addition, Ctrip had originally booked a double breakfast, the front desk originally intended to give only one meal coupon, and later gave two. As a result, when I went to breakfast the next morning, the restaurant told the general manager to cancel all breakfasts, and later allowed me to order a staple food with only one coupon. I paid an extra six dollars for the special double breakfast included in Ctrip, and I only used one! ! Speechless 😓 ...... It is recommended to take breakfast alone to get cheaper, or to eat outside, there is a nice mall next to the hotel.

Spent a 10 day holiday at this lovely Hotel. Every thing was first class with the pool being the jewel in the crown. The staff are absolutely first class and nothing but nothing was too much trouble for them, with special mention to Sam . We were offered an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite to give us a pool view. Although the suite was then far too big for 2 people it was nice to have the pool view. Non of the doubles have pool view. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of both western and Asian but could have been a bit warmer. Coffee and tea is by waiter service which is unusual with a buffet breakfast. We had 2 evening meals in the onsite restaurant which can only be described as superb. The location is good with a 10 minute walk to Pub Street (watch out for the uneven pavements and suicidal motor bikes ). The choice of restaurants around the hotel is good but quality wasn't. Opposite to the hotel is a new shopping mall with a decent supermarket and there is a lovely little bakery. This was the best hotel we stayed at during our holiday and I would most definitely stay here again if in Siem Reap. Unfortunately Siem Reap didn't live up to expectations so that is unlikely.

Excellent location in terms of being not too close to the madness and noise of Pub Street. The toilets and showers are modern and clean, as is the dormitory. The staff, and even the foreign manager, were uber kind and helpful and the facilities and pool and food and beverage options are superb. I liked this place so much that I extended an additional evening and later also made a booking for the location in Bangkok for when I will visit there in a few weeks.

Room was clean and had what you needed, housekeeping thou needs to do their jobs more properly cos they didn't clean my room on my last night. so had no shampoo bath gel etc. Breakfstcis great it had all the necessities you expect from 5 star hotels but reality it feels more 4 star. Half the Gym equipment don't work well or are bad. Jacuzzi was never on and Sauna rooms are undergoing renovation. Pool Bar never ever saw and attendant there. Now I see aThes to why it's so affordable, but the room itself and breakfast are well worth the price it's just management needs to be doing their jobs promptly. Room service is cheap so big ups there.

A perfect check-in experience. After entering the door, the service was very intimate. On a sweltering day, I immediately handed in a glass of iced drink. It tasted good with a touch of lemongrass. The entire check-in does not need to be handled by yourself. You can wait for your passport. On the day of check-in, a little brother from Xi'an was on duty to help with the check-in process. I also recommended a good restaurant nearby. Later, I also helped solve the wifi problem. I forgot to ask the name, but thank you very much. English, my little brother who speaks fluent Chinese is so warm. The hotel environment is very good, the garden design is very beautiful, super suitable for taking pictures, the design of many details of the corridor is great, and you can feel full of intentions everywhere. Thank you very much for the small gift from the hotel on the day of your stay. The baby elephant doll for the baby liked it very much, and hugged it all the way back to Beijing. Thank you very much for the fruit greetings from the hotel. The service staff will fold the clothes, and the charging cables scattered on the table will be tied and tied, which is super intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, there are many choices, and local Khmer specials can also be tasted. Finally, it is suggested that I hope that the hot and cold water signs can be affixed to the faucets in the bathroom to avoid wasting water due to different usage habits. When leaving, many hotel staff sent off at the door, said goodbye with a smile, thank all the hotel staff for bringing home-like service, and feel at home. Next time you have the opportunity to go to Siem Reap, you will choose to stay a few more days and feel the intimateness of the hotel again service!

We stayed here for 6 nights. 1 night in a twin by the pool and 5 nights in a double (king?), upstairs overlooking the pool. All rooms face the pool but it is quiet. Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The pool was a pleasant temperature and there were enough loungers for you to relax on. There are jacuzzi jets in one section that the staff will turn on for you if you ask or if they see you going in (they became familiar with me). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday the last day we were there and they decorated my room, brought me a delicious cake, and sang to me. It was beyond my expectations and I didn't recall mentioning my birthday so they must have noticed on my passport. The only one downfall was the restaurant prices seemed a bit high, but there is so much to try around Siem Reap, it wasn't an issue anyway.

Dear Team, I had a very good weekend escape at your hotel with a great environment, friendly staff as well as delicious food. I would like to give a big applause to your team that try their ever best to serve every single customer here. They care what We need, they care our feeling and most important is, they are all serving us whole-heartedly. Appreciate it! We had a misunderstanding about our order during lunch but surprisingly all staff in the hotel known about it and at the end we received a champagne as a compliment. We never imagine a hotel (a team) take it serious on this kind of matter but we appreciate the team work you all have and we believe your hotel and your team will be the top of the country even the world. I have been staying at Park Hyatt Siem Reap last time but their service is not as good as yours! I would like to say a thank you for granting me an early check-in and late check-out so we could have a very pleasant stay and relaxed vacation. Thank you very much for granting me another 75 mins massage that I couldn’t expected as well. I will share this wonderful customer journey with my friends and families and recommend Memoire Palace Resort & Spa for their accommodation. Keep it out and see you next time!
