He recommended trips, he gave us maps, train timetables and he even gave us a lift to the station. All the staff in fact are amazing. They are all so friendly and helpful. |0.62km from city centerStayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Pompeii ruins, its just a 15min walk to the entrance. We found the location via a sign next to a locked gate and phoned the owner who answered straight away with the code for the keys to enter. The rooms were located up a couple of flights of stairs in a building complex. As you enter through the hallway door there is a breakfast station comprising of jams, Nutella, packet cake, selection of teas including fruit tea, a fruit bowl and fresh croissants which are delivered in the mornings and were absolutely delicious. Also a coffee machine for expresso, a water dispenser and fridge with fruit juice and milk as well as cereal dispensers containing corn flakes. The room was so lovely, very contemporary and clean, everything looked new, we had a family room with a huge king sized bed and a double sofa bed, all with crisp clean sheets. Great lighting options and blackout blinds, there was air conditioning but we didn't need it. Beautifully decorated bathroom with large walk in shower, shampoo/conditioner and body wash were available, and good lighting over the mirror. Great new hairdryer too! Was lovely sitting on the balcony before going out in the evening, it gets the sun all day. When we asked if we could store our luggage on our check out day the owner was very kind and said it was fine to leave it all there for the day as no one else was due to arrive in that room, this was very much appreciated as we were visiting the ruins for 5 hours before departing for Naples. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

|0.47km from city centerWe only booked an economy room but found the room spacious, clean and with air conditioning with the bathroom sufficient for our needs. The staff were very welcoming and spoke perfect english. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable and the view from the breakfast room was superb. There is a bar/restaurant attached to hotel where the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. The entrance to the Pompeii ruins was a brief 3 minute walk, we arrived at the gate at 0900 and the queue was minimal as the main tourist entrance is around a further 30 minute walk away. If you are travelling from Naples by train i recommend you catch the TrenItalia Metropolitan Linea 2 from Naples Garibaldi to Pompeii and not one of the other lines available by other train services.

|0.13km from city centerWe arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”. Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator. The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii. We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us. In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day. If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

|0.97km from city centerWe stayed at Pompeii to enjoy the ruins and Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii was great, we came here on a hot spring weekend and there were lots of tourists. The church is the focus of the tour, with squares and gardens in front. We spent hours there watching the busy scenes. On Sunday, we went to the square, which coincided with Catholic and Orthodox Easter, and many people came from afar to make pilgrimages. We stayed here for the convenience of visiting Mount Vesuvius but don’t get stuck with those who sell the journey. There is a bus to Ampiteatro Square for 3 euros. They will spare no effort to sell you the journey that will cost more. All locations are accessible by public transport and are cheap.

|0.35km from city centerWell renovated hotel in an old building. Modern amenities. Clean and quiet (asked for room not facing Via Roma). Desk hours not available 24-7. But young lady staffed at desk was very helpful with guidance and suggestions of Pompeii & places to eat. She spoke English very well. Hotel is about 3-5 minute walk to Amphitheater’s entrance of the Archeological Park & 15 minute walk to Porto Maria’s entrance (main entrance). If leaving windows open, watch out for small bugs that bites. (Windows do not have screens). Shower drains runs slow. We stayed 2 nights. Overall a wonderful place to stay while visiting Pompeii!

|1km from city centerThe hotel is located in a relatively remote place in downtown Pompeii. Although the map shows that it is relatively close to the ruined scenic spot, it is actually quite a big circle to drive around.
The hotel is a small resort, and the room conditions are average, which is relatively clean. The yard at the entrance of the room is full of oranges, lemons, and grapefruit trees, which seems to be picked by the guests haha. The breakfast was average and there was too little hot food.

However the breakfast was terrible, the staff were too occupied on their phones to replenish the left over crumbs, seriously there was 1 small piece of salami and 2 dried up cheese slices on offer, the empty fruit juice jugs needed a good wash out. When we complained one of the staff shrugged his shoulders and went back on his phone. We didn't even bother going for breakfast the next morning. The staff need to be told who pays their wages, they should be respectful and efficient like the cleaners were.

As we left before breakfast last day, a bag was prepared the day before so that we could lunch in the apartment before we left. The ideal geographical location for visiting the ruins of Pompey, traveling train to Naples and Sorrente as well as to take the car with its access near the motorway. |1.91km from city centerJust returned after a mini break in Pompeii. This hotel is a little gem. So clean and the staff are amazing. Gave us all the information we needed and sorted a taxi when we needed one. Our room was clean but a little noisy near the road (the other balcony room opposite would be a great choice) however after a long day of sight seeing this wasn’t an issue as fell asleep quickly. Breakfast was plentiful and the cappuccino were lovely. When we returned after a day out we would have a limoncello spritz before going up to bed. Beautiful view of Vesuvius from our balcony and the little dog is very cute. All the staff were very friendly and definitely make a stay at this hotel amazing. When we arrived we walked from Pompeii Scavi train station which took over an hour (google maps tried to take us down the highway and then we ended up on a road with a closed bridge) we then discovered Pioppanio station which only took 20 minutes to walk to from the hotel. Highly recommend using trains to get around they are very cheap and easy to navigate.

All areas of the hotel were beautifully spotless. The hotel was silent & on a quiet side road so I'm not sure if the person who said it was noisy was in the same hotel as us ! The breakfast was basic but we chose the hotel knowing that so weren't expecting anything different & it was adequate. Great location for Pompei centre, 10 mins easy walk to both the railway station & also ancient ruins. Good for the price & we are fussy. We wold definitely return.

A fridge and kettle were provided in the room as well as an ironing board and iron. Balcony over looked pompeii ruins which was lovely and perfect for morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening as table and chairs were there too Downside was the road was busy next to it. we stayed on a Saturday night and the whole town was out enjoying life so traffic was heavy enough which I'm not used to so ear plugs might be handy if noise at night bothers you Its walking distance from both train stations and right by the gate for the ruins Breakfast was a feast with everything you could want to fuel you for the day ahead Staff were super helpful

The staff was friendly and helpful every minute - at reaching the hotel by the right train in the evening or even to get tickets to Vesuvio volcano that was overbooked online. Thanks to them we did not need to buy the package tour and we free to get there. The hotel has unique ambience and its decently devoted to the history of Pompei. It is next door to the ancient Pompei. Many restaurants are nearby. The room was great, spacious, quiet and clean. There was no noise from the street. We were sorry that the spa closes so early but the hotel was transparent in it. The breakfast was great for sweet lovers but a bit restrained for others. The bowls were not replenished until we have finished the breakfest. I was missing more vegetables and cheeses and those small local delicius things such as olivas or dried tomatoes that makes the breakfast at the hotel great. But it were just minor things. Thanks to all the staff for a great time.

|0.58km from city centerWe stayed for 2 nights in November 2019 with Luca in his delightful civico apartments. The location was perfect for exploring Pompei - both old and new, and there were some lovely restaurants located close by. The room (we stayed in the chocolate room) was clean and comfortable with a view of Mt. Vesuvius. And Luca most kindly re-stocked our mini-fridge to include our requests! Our host Luca could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Even prior to our arrival he supported in advising us of travel plans to help us navigate from landing in Naples airport right to the apartment front door. His advice was spot on and managed to avoid what could have been a very stressful journey! During the duration of our stay he was friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our trip. His knowledge of the local area really helped us decide which activities to fit into our short stay - his recommendation to do the Naples underground tour before our flight home was a winner! Something we would’ve never even known about had it not been for his suggestion. A wonderful stay - would definitely recommend.

|2km from city centerWe were only planning to stay one night but out kids of 14 and 12 years loved this place. We could walk to Pompeii ruins, drive easily to Ercolano and Vesuvio. This would also be great for day trips to the thermal baths. We are considering actually staying here and taking the train into Naples each day before the end of our trip. They speak French, Spanish, English and maybe more. Walking distance to down town if you like to walk. Keeping in mind that walking anywhere in Italy is a life threatening activity. I have heard the food here is the best that some have had in all of Italy. The owners are apparently chefs and if you give them a heads up you can dine here in style.

Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out.
