Located in the Samariter Quarter of Friedrichshain, this hotel is 30 minutes from the famous Alexanderplatz and Brandenburg Gate by public transport. It offers free Wi-Fi, room service and parking. All modern rooms at the Hotel-Pension Insor feature a cable TV, work desk and a hairdryer. Some have a private bathroom and some have a shared bathroom. The Insor is a 5-minute walk from Samariterstraße Underground Station and 800 metres from Frankfurter Alle City Rail Station, providing good access to Berlin’s main tourist attractions. A variety of bars and clubs in the Samariter Quarter are within walking distance from the Insor Hotel-Pension. Volkspark Friedrichshain, Berlin’s oldest public park, is just 2.5 km away.
This hotel is basic but provides a good base for a break in Berlin. The location, next to an underground station is most useful. Checkin was welcoming and efficient. The room provides all necessary amenities but lacks comfort. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and the duvet and pillow were lumpy. The heat could not be controlled so the room was hot at night despite it being January. The water pressure in the shower was very good . The rooms were clean and towels changed when necessary but during daily cleaning cups were not cleaned adequately.
This hotel in Berlin’s colourful Friedrichshain district is just a 5-minute walk from Samariter Strasse Underground Station and 5 stops from the famous Alexanderplatz square. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas. All rooms at the Gold Hotel include a flat-screen TV, radio, telephone and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All rooms are accessible by lift. In addition to its charming Art Nouveau entrance, the Gold boasts a peaceful courtyard with chestnut trees. Guests are welcome to relax in the conservatory, or else in the hotel courtyard in warm weather.
Sketch is located near the Warschauer station, which is handy as you can just hop on the S Bahn and get within 5 minutes to Alexander Platz and other well known sights. The property itself, is a little hiden but a sign at the entrance of building 54 shows the 2 entraces. I usually used the elevator, which is located at the 2nd couryard (left). Note that it is the last elevator in the couryard. As soon as I entered the elevator a feeling of excitement arouse. An atmosphere as in industrialized elevator hit me, all rough and iron (in a positive kind sense). As soon as you arrive to the 3rd floor (You press 2 in the elevator), you will need your code which opens you the main door and the door of your room. The rooms seemed very new (probably refurbished), mattresses are comfortable (not too hard and not too soft). Internet was stable and strong and the overall interior practical and nice! Overall, it has been an awesome experience that I will definitely repeat.
This hotel offers free Wi-Fi internet and in-room flat-screen TVs. It is in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district, 700 metres from the Warschauer Straße City Rail and Underground Station. The rooms at the Nu Wave Hotel Berlin are bright and have a private bathroom. Guests will find free internet terminals in the lobby. The Nu Wave Hotel Berlin is close to many restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Mercedes-Benz sporting arena and concert venue is a 10-minute walk from the nu hotel. Alexanderplatz is 3 stops away.
New hotel very trendy and hipster fits in well with the City of Berlin. 6 stops on metro into Alexanderplatz in the Centre. Hotel had everything we needed for 3 night stay. Great Breakfast lots of healthy choices. Warm, compact bedroom with comfortable beds hugh tv and small area for clothes open space few coat hangers,ok for us for short stay. Bathroom towels & toiletries good and great powerful walk in shower, everything we needed. Very happy for the price we paid was excellent value. Hotel is built on top of a car park and access is by a commercial centre. Railway station close to hotel which was the only noise as our room looked out to the rail station. Staff young and willing a over all good experience ! Only reason not given the 5 stars as bedroom was very small & noise of trains
This is a cheap and cheerful hotel on Warschauer Str in the Friedrichshain area of Berlin's inner East. The location is great. Its five minutes from the Warschauer Str underground and overground train stations, this minutes on a train to Alexanderplatz and the sights of Unter den Linden. The area is a bit of a rough and ready bohemian area. Plenty of bars, restaurants, late night off licences and takeaways. Simon Dach Str is two streets away. The East Side gallery is a stones throw away. There is a new shopping mall opposite ( East Side Mall) and a large ReWe supermarket opposite. The street also has a busy tram line in front of the hotel, you will hear passing trams if you are in a room at the front. The five min walk from the stations to the hotel could be a little unnerving at night for some, with open drug dealing taking place and pushers actively offering their wares, but a polite ”no” and continuing to walk solves this. Not a dangerous feel to the area, just some people might not like this. Certainly nothing to do with the hotel, but guests should be aware. There are no lifts, you have to walk up the stairs. My room was cleaned daily, bed comfortable, TV worked. The bathroom is basic and small, but no complaints. Staff at the desk have always been pleasant enough, I've never had any issues here. Certainly not a place to book for a romantic stay, or to lounge about in, more somewhere to get your head down for the night in a practical location.
I left my luggage here in advance and it was not possible to check in at three in the afternoon.
There was a vignette at check-in. The front desk gave us a room with someone and swiped the card. A man was lying on the bed. Fortunately, it was scary to wear clothes. Going to find her to solve the problem, it was she who made a mistake, but she was frightened and not very satisfied.
The sanitary conditions are not very good, the transportation is very convenient, there are dm and rewe supermarkets nearby, and there is a large shopping mall near the train station.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and highly recommend it. The room was nice and modern with thoughtful extra touches. Service was excellent, always friendly and helpful. They handled special requests efficiently and gracefully, making the extra effort with a smile on several occasions. Only ate breakfast but the coffee was excellent and the breakfast was really nice with waited service with some healthy options. The neighborhood was charming, felt very safe and had some nice local restaurants to choose from.
Ideally suited for partygoers, this hostel is just a 3-minute walk from 2 of Berlin's most famous clubs, Berghain and Watergate. Kiez Hostel Berlin offers free WiFi in all areas. The rooms and dormitories at Kiez Hostel Berlin are attractively and individually furnished on a particular theme such fantasy or country life (with a straw-bale design bed). Kiez Hostel Berlin offers quiet accommodation centrally located in Berlin's cool district of Friedrichshain. Kiez Hostel Berlin is also within a 10-minute walk from the Mercedes Benz Arena and the Eastside Gallery, the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall. It offers convenient S-Bahn and underground train connections, and is just 2.5 km from Alexanderplatz in the heart of Berlin.
Wonderful service with the most helpful staff, all in a bobo neighborhood where you can spend days exploring the vibe. The rooms have their own bathrooms, the lockers and the lobby is open 24 hours, and the people working there are just great!
Hotels Near Gaststatte Birgit Dahrmann In Berlin Review
The hotel is okay overall, in the Siemens town, next to the subway. Not too much service, some at the front desk are good, some are not smiling, but also charge extra for breakfast. Later, I will go to the exhibition and change places.
Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or rowdiness...it closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.
Nice stay at Urban Loft. The hotel looks quite new, and The rooms are clean and modern. The Black out curtains really Work. There is a sensor under The bed at turns on a light and you can’t turn The sensor off. This is very annoying for The people sleeping, when someone has to go to The bathroom. The door to The hallway is not very Sound proof and you Can hear people when They walk by. The breakfast is a little expensive compared to the quality. I Think that you could Maybe choose What you want in the box the Day before, instead of there only being 4 different ones on the Day. Would also Be Nice to have a small option for breakfast as the large box generates a lot of waste. Super Nice with the free coffee. But all in all a very Nice hotel close to the central station.
Because the other room type is set the next day, the housekeeping staff is very helpful to change the room, we do not have to run back specially, the nearby traffic and shops are very convenient! Super recommended
The hotel is very good, the room is large and the breakfast is very good. It is very clean inside. That is, the surrounding may be new, a little deserted, and go out to meet, because I met a deep well ice tramp to grab the phone. But the hotel is really very good!
The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.
This is a fabulous base for your stay in Berlin, located in a vibrant part of the city close to public transport. I almost didn’t book here because of the very equivocal recent reviews - I’m so glad I looked passed those reviews, noting that Booking.com rates the hotel at 8.6, which is excellent. Let’s start with all the negative comments on TripAdvisor that have been made about this place which are simply NOT true in my experience. 1. All the windows are double glazed, and our apartment on level 4 had direct line of sight to the train station. Not a single train screech or vehicle noise did we hear. These rooms are super quiet. 2. Yes, this is a self service hotel. PIN code for building and room entry, WhatsApp help if things go wrong. Although there was a staff member at the reception desk when we arrived, we did not expect anyone to be available. Everything worked as anticipated. Flawless. 3. The Intimate Suite that we booked for 10 days was considerably larger than expected - one large living space with a sofa, dining table and four chairs, mini built-in desk, open balcony with metal table and chair, small kitchenette and adequate sized bedroom with closet and safe. High ceilings made the space feel voluminous and light. People need to simply make sure they are booking the appropriate sized room - like in any hotel. Don’t choose tiny and cheap if you want space to swing the cat. 4. There is no servicing of the room / apartment during your stay. This is made clear on the website. People who complain about this simply didn’t read the hotel conditions on the Numa website. Extra towels and toilet rolls are available in the laundry room if you need them. 5. Admittedly the kitchenette is small and the layout a little perplexing. The microwave on a shelf above head height is an obvious health and safety issue and would not be permitted in many jurisdictions. There is no toaster and limited bench space. There is a mini bar style fridge, ceramic cooktop, sink, cooktop exhaust, Nespresso machine and a few basic crockery and cutlery items, as well as a frypan and cooking pot. OK, you’re no going to cook the family Sunday roast dinner for 10 in this kitchenette; there are gazillions of nearby restaurants for that. 6. Although there is one washer and one dryer for the building, it is operated by the WeWash app, where you can book your time. Super convenient and the hotel provides free laundry detergent. Wash costs €2.50 and dryer €2.00. We didn’t have a problem using the washer and dryer when we wanted. The dials on both machines are in German, but the QR code on the wall with the instructions for use also provides the user manual in multiple languages. Extra stars ⭐️ for this hotel: The hotel air-con worked a treat during the 35C days - unlike a few previous hotels in Scotland and Norway that struggled under the strain of lesser temperatures. Nearby (50 meters, open till 10pm) Lidl supermarket has everything you need - food, booze, toiletries.
The location of the hotel is very good, with a subway/tram station next to it, and convenient transportation.
There are many shopping shops nearby, and it is not far from the Haak Market. It is very convenient to eat, drink and play.
The room is large, there is a hidden induction cooker, and there are kitchen utensils in the cabinet, which is very suitable for friends who want to cook for themselves.
I really like the washing and care products in the room. The soap is black, which is very special.
We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.
The hotel is nice and very good. It is especially suitable for traveling with children. It is also a good choice for business trips because the floors are very high and the scenery is particularly good. It is also very close to the attractions, basically you can reach it on foot. Will continue to stay next time.
Hotel was great! The room was spacious and beds were comfy. Although there was no air con, the windows sufficient efficiently enough and there was also free WiFi! Would recommend again. However the elderly woman receptionist was VERY rude which made us feel uncomfortable and not wanting to ask for advice on food/places to visit from her as she was very patronising. The other receptionists were lovely and always said hello when seeing us, apart from this one woman. It’s a shame to have a bad person on front of house, as everything else was superb
I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!
Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.
The hotel is located on the luxury street of Berlin. There are various big-name and traditional German brands, as well as general department stores such as Kadiwei, and also direct stores of Apple and Tesla. Shopping is very good. Go to Charlotten. The Fort Palace is also very close, but the facilities are a bit old.
The position is quite far from everything. The staff ( a guy ) was not really friendly. I asked for information for the metro and he told me to look for on my iPhone . When I checked out he did everything looking at his mobile phone and he never told me goodbye when I left . The bedroom was very little.
The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.
Great traditional European hotel Hygienic negligence Improved with complaints and apologize promptly to remedy. Unique geographical location, historical heritage, is the legendary name of the hotel industry, the only.
If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.
Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. The actual taxi at the entrance of the hotel is not difficult to call. When leaving the hotel, it is a black taxi. It feels like being bypassed.
The location is not bad. I went with my husband with a baby less than one year old. The bed is very big. Enough for the three of us to sleep, with room to spare. The drinks in the refrigerator are free, which is good~
But the baby can see a lot of dust crawling on the ground...the conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom are gone...and they are not full. It is said that there is a children's playground in this hotel, but the epidemic is closed. . . .
Front office needs training. Urgently. When I arrive at the reception, I expect 3 things: 1) a smile, 2) ”welcome”, 3) explanation of all the hotel services. (I won't go so far as to push for a ”Thank you for your loyalty”.) None of this was provided. Check-in was rushed and chaotic. I didn't feel welcome at all. My status was also ignored and the welcome drink voucher wasn't prepared, I had to ask for it. In a 5-star hotel? Terrible first impression. Embassy room far too small for the price and with no functioning A/C. It was like a sauna! I don't care if it was unusually hot in Berlin, I expect a full functioning A/C in a luxury hotel. When I asked for the room to be cooled down, because I thought I was doing something wrong, I got a fan. A nice gesture, but a bad sign, indicating that the A/C isn't really working. In an extremely expensive 5-star hotel?! Bed too hard, I had to ask for a mattress topper. The receptionist didn't understand what I was talking about, so I left a note to the housekeeping team. When I asked her for the pillow menu, something I expect in a luxury hotel, the same receptionist asked me what kind of pillow I wanted. How can I say if I don't see the pillow menu?! I guess it doesn't exist? In the end I just asked for a feather pillow. Of course, I didn't get it. I guess they don't have feather pillows at this supposedly 5-star hotel. I could go on... Breakfast, again, not worthy of a 5-star hotel. The a la carte menu is so short that I couldn't believe my eyes! And why was there no buffet on Sunday? Buffet is supposedly served on weekends. Let me guess, a la carte breakfast costs the hotel less? The staff at breakfast were very nice though. They should switch places with the receptionists, to be honest. I was very unlucky in that I dealt with the same receptionist every time. An incredibly cold person who has no place working in the hospitality industry. She didn't even ask me whether everything was OK at check-out. That was probably smart as she would have got an earful. Good things about this hotel are the location next to Tiergarten and the welcome amenity was very nice. The building itself is beautiful but a grand exterior and a spiral staircase do not a 5 star hotel make. The service was so disappointing that I couldn't believe it. At 450 EUR a night, this is an incredible insult. I will never return. I am aware of the staff shortages and all the challenges the hotel industry is facing, but if you're going to charge so much money, I expect to get my money's worth. All in all, an incredible disappointment. In conclusion, the impression I got is that this hotel only cares about your money and not your satisfaction.
Hotel room was small and clean. Great quiet location.Large reception area. Will stop there again without hesitation. Will never book through Trip.com again. Both flights were cancelled. Ryan Air informed us for the departure so we changed to the night before arriving late and extra nights accommodation needed. The app still has us flying on the original date. The return flight was cancelled and the app stated we were checked in and even gave details of check in gate. This meant another night in a hotel and hundreds of pounds extra to fly the next morning. The app is useless. Book direct with the airline and watch Google as it steers you towards Trip.com automatically. The helpline does not answer the phone. Generic answers are useless just like Trip.com Please publish this!
We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!
The transportation is convenient. It is better that his family has bunk and bunk beds for the children to sleep in. It is about two or three kilometers to walk to the city center. There is a delicious Thai restaurant one kilometer nearby. It is the best one I have eaten in so many days. Dayton, I'm really fed up with western food. Next time I will choose to live directly in a hotel in the city center
Well priced hotel in a good location within striking distance of all that Berlin has to offer ! Underground station 2 minutes away ! Plenty of restaurants around the hotel ! one small gripe-no breakfast available and could do with a bar-only option was a vending machine with bottles of Becks at 2.50 euros . Lovely courtyard . Our son is starting work at Deutsche bank and we would definitely use the hotel as a base again !
The room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the waiters were very good. The business ability needs to be improved. There were some errors in this check-in. Fortunately, Ctrip's customers are as good as ever to help solve the problem. In non-English-speaking countries, the waiters are not very good in English, and the communication will be biased, so hotel orders must be brought along. In addition, there are many agents on the Ctrip hotel platform. In addition, I ate dinner at the hotel at more than 10 pm, and it was amazing. And the swimming pool is very nice.
Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!
