I booked very short term since my previous hotel was a whole disaster. Price performance top, online booking smoothly. Check-in smoothly, there are lockboxes for baggage if you're there earlier. The staff was also incredibly nice! The room is compact, but has everything you need (including chair, safe, luggage, etc.). Shower and toilet hid behind milk glass, the ventilation has heard something in the night. The light in the rooms was good, light enough to make, not too light if you have to stand up n/eight times. Very comfortable bed and also the bed linen was great. Not the standard 08/15 white hotel garniture, but something that feels like home :) All was very clean. Wi-Fi is running quickly. Breakfast buffet is very rich, also offers several options for vegan food (milk alternatives, Releases, etc), all self-service. Has tasted very well. From the hotel you are walking or tram very fast in the city centre, or you use the bike sharing from Leipzig Transportverbund (App: LeipzigMOVE) :-) Parking was not a problem in a sideway. All in all I am very happy to have changed to this hotel!

I booked a night at this hotel as it was the best available value for a single room in Leipzig during my visit. Room was very spacious and comfortable and most importantly clean. The hotel is very much old style and quaint. Breakfast buffet was good, but very much continental. The hotel is located in the Connewitz suburb, it was roughly an hour walk from Central station. The reception area seemed to be manned by a gentleman who was doubling as a waiter in the adjoining restaurant, so there was no permanent prescence at reception. It wasn't a problem as I was given a key for the front door. It wasn't central and it wasn't modern, but overall it was a pleasant stay. The Number 11 or 9 tram will get you into town in about 15 minutes, which for some reason is not available in Google Maps. The adjoining streets were quite dimly lit coming back at night but I didn't encounter any trouble. Overall a good budget stay if you don't mind staying on the outskirts of town.

We stayed the the Ibis Budget Leipzig City hotel during our trip to visit the Christkindlmarkt and other sights in Leipzig. We chose the hotel because it is easy walking distance from the train station and center of the city. Our room was clean, combining a lot into the small space including the shower and sink in the main room. It also had a queen-size bed with bunk bed above it. The toilet was in a separate room. While I found the arrangement a bit unusual, it worked. Breakfast was very crowded on the weekend, but on the one weekday we were there. Though I prefer smaller and more homey accommodations, this was a good and safe choice for our first visit to Leipzig.

Hotel is beside the train station, very convenient with shops and restaurants within the station. Check-in process was slow even though I have completed my online check-in 1 day in advance using the link provided, staff had some difficult time locating my booking. Other than that, the experience is flawless with comfortable room, strong shower, good wifi and decent breakfast for a budget hotel. Overall this is a very value for money stay.

We had a 5 day stay in this hotel in August 2020 whilst seeing friends in Leipzig and I have to say we enjoyed it. It is a city centre hotel - a typical Radisson Hotel building as you can see from the many published photographs. Our reception was friendly and the staff spoke English well - quite unusual for this part of the old East Germany. You have to wear a Covid Face mask (during the pandemic) in all public areas except the restaurant and bar but this was not much of an inconvenience at all. The Covid mask rules are very similar to the UK’s regulations generally although social distancing is not as strictly enforced. The hotel was packed with German tourists at the weekend but was a lot quieter during the week - we did not see or hear any other British people anywhere in Leipzig because (a) the city is not very high on the UK tourist agenda and also (b) the British fear of travel durning “the pandemic”. They don’t seem to have any in-house leisure facilities - no gym, spa or pool but our trip to Leipzig was not that sort of holiday anyway. There is also no business centre and I did miss that, having to ask my friends for printing services. Despite the Covid crisis and unlike the super careful British approach, the hotel provide full room service - fresh linen, towels and all the usual amenities, including dressing gowns and slippers. Some of the housekeeping was a bit lax - dirty towels left in the bathroom, glasses not washed etc but a quiet word with Management sorted this out and there were no more problems. We used their restaurant for the buffet breakfast (a full buffet, unlike in the paranoid British hotels) and while it was acceptable, there were weaknesses notably the absence of warm plates (a pet hate of mine), the absence of decent tea (the Germans drink coffee almost exclusively) and a failure to properly cook bacon (floppy and semi raw on the buffet). Some of the coffee flasks were also lukewarm but we warmed ours up with hot water from the dispenser so all was well. We didn’t use the restaurant in the evening, as we went out with our friends, so we cannot comment other than to say it didn’t seem to be very popular. There are literally hundreds of good restaurants a stone’s throw from the hotel if needed. Our room 405 was a Junior Suite as on the floor plan, Like all Radisson’s, a Junior Suite is really a large room with a divider - see my photographs. It was clean and fresh and the Wireless internet was free and quite fast. The air conditioner was, however, not up to scratch and seemed to battle with the ambient heat. Despite raising this with staff, we could not get ours to drop below 22 degrees C. That made sleeping a bit unpleasant. Despite the minor problems, it was a good stay and far from overpriced - we would recommend this place for a short break, if you happen to be traveling to Leipzig.

Due to a cancelled flixbus, we arrived at the Hyperion Hotel at 1 am dead tired to leave the next morning early. The checking in process was sluggish and the hospitality of the guy that helped us was not so kind. Finally we got the room but Immediately after we arrived in the room we got a message from flixbus that the bus would leave in 10 minutes. We immediately rushed back downstairs and the receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier. He assured us that no money would be deducted and he would send me a confirmation via e-mail - which I did not receive. Now, almost a month later, I see that the amount has been debited anyway. Since I thought there should be a mistake, I e-mailed for clarification. After several calls and emails I finally I got someone on the phone telling me that the bed was ”used” and they could therefore not resale the room that night. This simply is a lie, there was no time at all to use the bed. After several attempts to get in contact now the manager offered us a 50% refund. What a sad policy, where I should pay for the false promises of this hotel. This kind of business is ruining a nice city like Leipzig. Making profits on the backs of poor students, if that is really your business idea then you deserve to get an honest review: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the time of pretty strict covid rules so having an easy access to great food and drinks was a great plus! Can't thank the barman Miky enough for amazing cocktails even off the menu. It was also pretty cold outside so having access to sauna for 5EUR per person was essential. The pool was great as well, but would be a bit on the cold side. I could swim but wouldn't stay in for more than 10 min at a time. Great view, city center location, very friendly staff, comfy bed, modern design.

The Sachsenpark Hotel at the Leipzig Messe can point with its direct motorway connection. The windows are soundproof enough to not disturb the traffic on the neighbouring A14. The house has certainly been on the buckle for a few years, what you look at him here and there. In total, however, good 4-Sterne-Niveau. Unfortunately, because of the short stay I could not use all the possibilities of the hotel - especially corona-restricted. Maybe at the next visit :-)

We enjoyed our stay in the Felix hotel in Leipzig. One step outside, and you’re immediately in the city centre (and on the Christmas market of course). We were pleased with our room, which had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The kitchenette was very practical as well. However, I must say that I found the price a bit too high compared with the service. The entrance is not very easy to find and the reception is on the 6th Floor, which is not extremely welcoming. There is no showergel or shampoo in the room, the least I would expect to be present when booking a hotel room. No hairdryer either in our (XS) room. However, we could go lend one at the reception (had to wait for a day before there was one available). If you can lend it, then why not provide hairdryers in all the rooms, instead of only in the expensive ones? The (magnetic?) key to our room (and others as well) didn’t function well. Only opened after 5 or 6 tries most of the times. To reach our room, we had to take 2 elevators (our part of the building was not available with the first elevator): so first go to the 6th floor (reception), then walk through two corridors, take the second elevator to the 2nd floor and then we reached our corridor. In our corridor, there were 5 or 6 elderly people who obviously lived there, with nurses taking care of them in a common room, like in a home for elderly people. Of course, we didn’t have the slightest problem with that, but it was a bit weird of course, since you Don’t expect it in a hotel. The staff was kind, but not too kind either. We didn’t eat in the hotel So I can’t comment on that. In conclusion: we were pleased with our stay because of the nice little room (not the view sadly), and the amazing location: right in the city centre. Next time, we will try another hotel, because for the price we paid, we didn’t get the basic features you normally get in a hotel.

I have just returned to England after a six night stay in Germany, based at this hotel. I wanted somewhere which was itself in an interesting city but which was also well situated for my day trips by train to other cities and towns in the region. The Premier Inn in Leipzig perfectly matched my requirements! It is located on one flank of Leipzig’s Altstadt / old town, which is fascinating and atmospheric; just the best balance of a rich variety of distinctive building styles but definitely a ‘real’ place where people live, work and enjoy themselves. At the same time, the hotel also happens to be only a three minute walk from Leipzig’s railway station…..and Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, said to be the largest terminus station in Europe, is an attraction in its own right! As well as efficiently doing what it says on the tin, it also contains a wonderful two level shopping mall. From the station I easily made my day trips to Dresden, Halle, Dessau and a small town called Schipkau. But what about the hotel? It is excellent. All the staff I encountered, ….reception, housekeeping and catering were friendly, helpful and very accomplished. My room was spacious and well furnished and it was cleaned every day! The double headed, walk-in shower was splendid. The public areas of the hotel were impressive and a high quality buffet breakfast was well priced and set me up well for my days out.

Who wants to live in a clean, modern and super friendly atmosphere in Leipzig, should check in this hostel! The staff is super helpful, friendly and competent in all areas. The hygiene is not only written because of Corona, the rooms (I first stayed in the EZ, later in the DZ with a later arrived girl) are super clean, super stylish and modern and give you the feeling in a hotel and not in a hostel has been accommodation. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The Wi-Fi works properly in the Open Space Room and on the small, but fine roof terrace can be relaxed. The traditional shopping house is not only located in the heart of the city; in 2 minutes you are already at the old council house, the old stock exchange and the gym, also to the HBF, it is only about 7 minutes walk. With love for tradition, the interior of the hostel is also the interior. In green and black, the interior reminds the old times as a shopping house and makes it stand a comparison with a boutique hotel from my point of view. The young hostel team as well as the manager are very friendly, helpful and always have for a little bit of a clue and inside knowledge around the city. A successful stay around. I am very happy to come back.

The hotel is located next to the train station and close to the west exit. The environment is very good. The Leipzig train station is amazing and beautiful. The city is not big, you can walk to Nikolai Church and Thomas Church. The latter is the place where Bach has been working for 27 years. He is also a place where he sleeps. Leipzig University is worth visiting. Those few characteristic deep market corridors can't. Missed, there are Indian restaurants and Vietnamese restaurants on the street. If you are tired, you can eat Asian food and like the city of Leipzig. Breakfast can be eaten at the hotel, very simple.

I booked two suites for one night. One was a proper one bedroom suite with a door between the living room and bedroom, whilst the other was more of a Junior Suite with some separation between the two sections, but no door. Both were comfortable, clean and quiet. Reception staff for both check-in and check-out were efficient and courteous. The hotel car park is accessed via Lotterstraße and the hotel parking spaces are well signed. There is a small discount on parking costs for staying at the hotel, which is activated by the receptionist, but payment is made at a machine in the car park itself. Breakfast was the only slightly disappointing aspect of the stay. The room was very busy and more people were being admitted than could be accommodated at the tables. The range of items at breakfast was good, however.

Wonderfully designed apartment - generous, elegant, clean and quite lovely, attentive service. Great location - the city centre, restaurants, bars, are walking well accessible. At the same time super quiet and beautiful view of the garden. Nice pictures, art, books. Own visit app and well filled refrigerator. We'll be happy to come back when we come back to Leipzig.

The location is relatively remote, it takes about 15 minutes to drive from the city center, the room is a bit simple, the double bed is relatively small, but the price of about 300, can not ask too much!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It far exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly. Had dinner at hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the meal. There was plenty of free parking. Loved the room and had a great nights sleep. I would stay again. Hotel is close to Belantis theme park.
