So, no money for a taxi, stuck in a place where I had no phone service, and the booking app takes up to 12 hours to contact the hotel, I didn't know what to do. Luckily, a gentleman at one of the currency exchange kiosks took his breaktime to help call the hotel, and they sent a vehicle to get me. (I later found out it was the manager's wife). They got me quickly checked in after a long day, and recommended a nearby restaurant who was having a grand reopening (free meal).

The staff (customer service) is decent & good.
Just, I realized the bedsheet seems not change. And there’s weird smell on 1 of the pillow sheet. When I removed the comforter, the under sheet is not that neat (once I check-in).
For anybody who use the room at any hotel, I would highly suggest to remove all the sheets bfor you check-out. To help the tenant after to get new & clean sheets. Its easier for the room service too, so they can just collect the used sheets & replace with fresh one.

Most probably they offered this room due to my request on the lowest budget since I had to stay a longer period due to work factor. After a short nap, I had visited the reception and a young gentleman who is the Hotel Operation Manager by the name of Siva approached me to understand further on my needs, the reasons of my stay since and my preferences. After a short discussion, Siva had arranged a Deluxe Double with Balcony. It has all I need, I felt soo much of comfort, the Wifi was working better then I expected since I had to write a lot of articles and reading. As I was Management Pilot and work related stress was really an nature of our industry. Peaceful and complete silent is what I personally desire and need at the most during current situation. S8 Boutique Hotel has all your needs. I stayed many hotels due to my nature of industry but I personally felt S8 Boutique Hotel personalize their services into individuality, I really felt like I am at home. Besides Mr. Siva, another 2 staffs who was working there is Safuhah and Syuhada. Both of them never fails me, they always ensure my rooms are clean. |0.56km from city centerthe location is strategic, but facilities are not..it does not meet the expectation that we expect from a prestigious hotel chain like ascott level..lets dive into the negative points:
- shared parking with mall..since during my time it was full, i had to park along side the road
- receptionist was slow..suprisingly guest had to register again over the counter, although we have done it online
- the hotel only had 1 receptionist despite having long q of guests..i checked in at 9pm (which is not peak hour but still long q), cant imagine if its during normal check in time
- no toiletries, only shower foam is provided
- they provided the normal coffee/tea drinks with mugs and heater, but did not provide spoons
now lets look into some of the positive points:
- reception area looks cosy, minimalist design
- hotel lift is fast, despite sharing it with the mall
- room size is convenient and clean
- they hv both fan n aircond, which is great for people who is not used to aircond

|4.48km from city centerWe stay at this hotel for a night transit. We took grab, cost RM25 and it was less than 15min driving. The room is big and clean. Aircon worked well. Got hot shower but the water pressure wasnt high but not a big problem. No amenities except soap. The put the towel hanger so high which I dont understand why. But for a room less than RM 150 for 3 persons where we got 2 king size beds inside, it was more than ok. Will consider this hotel again when I need to transit overnight. Almost forgot.. neighbours are full with eating places and easy to get taxi too even at 6am.

It is nonetheless a clean and huge hotel. Rooms are normal.

Room is spacious and clean. If you're staying at level 1, just above the conference in lobby, it's a bit noisy as the door and windows is not fully noise proof.
Plenty of restaurants nearby (driving distance) and also GrabFood also covered the area.
Location is a bit secluded from other building. Building is surrounded with wild plant and mid height tree which is Good for rejuvenate the mind and soul.

It is so convenient to the airport (less than 10mins walk from arrival hall), especially midnight arrival or early departure passenger or senior people(like my mom). You can take free shuttle bus from airport to the nearby Mitsui Outlet Park. The room is clean and tidy. One thing is a bit disappointed - breakfast - it was not a buffer and was only 2 choices: caesar salad or lakes, and no drinks included. Both were not attractive and the restaurant does not allowed to pay extra to order something else. I would not recommend to pay extra for breakfast because many cafes are located nearby.

One large bed (can accommodate 2 people), shower room, liquid soap available. No pasta/toothbrush. Clean white towels. There are 2 small bottles of mineral water. flat TV. Just for sleeping and shower ok.

For toiletries, they provide soap but no shampoo or toothbrush/toothpaste. They have a water heater in the bathroom. For cutleries, they provide one electric kettle, two glasses and two spoons. The room also has a lot of hangers for you to hang your clothes in the closet and a TV for your entertainment.
Overall, the room is worth it!

We bring our kids to the pool and the pool is very big. This place easy to get food, below have a 99mart, Malay food and Arabic cuisine. Also have two malls nearby. We have our movie at Dpulze mall.
Overall, satisfy with our staycation . The rooms are totally suitable for small family and we will definitely come n book with them again.

If you see the appearance of other hotels, you will find it when you come to this one. Fortunately!! 3. The room is small, but there are beds, bathrooms and TVs Everything is available, the room is tidy, and the bed is good to sleep BUT 1. There is no carpet in the corridor, because it is an INN, people check in 24 hours, the sound of footsteps, family voices (and echoes)... will make you Woke up several times throughout the night 2. The door is also a problem, because it is an old door, so it will bump when you close it!!! Earplugs?! Guaranteed to be useless!!! After me, I have four or five companions to move in. Very satisfied. I will come back if I have the chance. After reaching Salak Tinggi, walk for about ten minutes. The host had WeChat Chinese (this was the key to my decision at the time!) There were many delicious restaurants right next to the hostel. The seafood chow mein I ordered was right at the intersection (next to 711). I also went to Xiamen, Malaysia, where I drank milk tea. Also great.

The room was okay. The bathroom was clean dn the best was comfy. I took the cheap option without window... not the best thing ... however you pay what you get! The location is close to the airport with grab the taxi is 30 MRI. With the hotel is 35 MRI.
I would consider stau again if I had a lay over.
Don't expect anything fancy.

Then staying at the airport having good veggie soup and latest top of the day is capsule transit hotel. First of all nice staff, very helpful. Great creative idea of small space sleeping capsules located on most expensive airport place. Hotel is build like container warehouse. You have your own capsule with light, charging….You get towel, water and sharing toilet and shower. Perfect enough. Many places to just in walking distance and shop some necessities. Really recommended
