The hotel service is very good, the breakfast is full, the fruit is fresh and there are good cherries. The hotel staff is friendly and English is fluent. Also helped us upgrade to a suite, and will stay again next time. Eating around, shopping is convenient, arrive in five minutes. A true American hotel, several times better than the same hotel we stayed in in Istanbul.

Stayed here for three nights, The service was top-notch and nothing could be faulted at all. Got a very spacious Junior Suite which I enjoyed. Platinum members are treated very well - executive lounge is closed so breakfast and light dinner are provided for free. Ordered room service a couple of times and it was very reasonably priced too.

Basically, they are all foreigners. They feel that they should be natives of the country. The breakfast is rich, but they are not used to eating. Everyone can't stand the cheese every day. The room is not big, it should be said that the room is small, and the air conditioner is not good, it is not cold at noon, it is cold to death at night.

I stayed two nights in Ankara between Istanbul and Cappadocia, and got what I thought was an excellent deal (about US$50) for two nights at Atakosk Hotel, a 5* establishment according to Hotels.com. Couldn't have been more impressed when I first arrived. Atakosk was a 20 or so minute walk away from ASCI bus terminal, had a grand looking entrance and a beautiful room. Unfortunately, things went a bit downhill from there... The hot water in the bath was more lukewarm than hot, there were no tours on offer or means of transportation to tourist sites, other than taxis, and the electricity short-circuited in the room for an hour one night. The blanket was more a thin towel than a blanket proper. The hotel promised two bars (a rooftop bar and a terrace bar), but neither were open - not even sure if the rooftop bar even exists! Couldn't decide if the hotel was new and still developing, or was in the middle of some kind of renovation... The wifi was also a bit sketchy and dropped in and out while in the room. The staff were quite polite, and a few spoke English (but some others didn't seem to speak much at all). There's a breakfast on offer, which is quite fair in its selection but I wouldn't have known omelettes were available to order if I hadn't overheard another guest asking for one. On the whole, I'm not so sure what to make of the experience. It was a bit surreal that underneath the polished veneer, the whole hotel didn't seem to "work" well at all. I can only hope that things will get better, and that the hotel can one day live up to its appearance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and also kindly booked a taxi for us for the morning when we had to go to the airport. They also allowed us to print off our boarding cards at reception. The rooms were very big and very clean. The bathrooms were also big with nice showers and plenty of towels. The air conditioning in the room could have been a bit better but it wasn't too big of a problem. Not a long walk from Kizilay and they also put a breakfast on in the morning. Woken up a bit early in the morning from the school assembly outside, something to take note of but I would still stay here again.

Breakfast is ok, no much option. but you can find all the necessary food. wifi connection is good, but little tricky to connect for the first time. the hotel is close to the main street where you find all kind of shopping stores and restaurant, really you don't need taxi or bus

We stayed at Koru whilst receiving treatment at a hospital in Ankara. The Reception staff could not have done more to help us, and were very obliging, kind and caring. The room was very comfortable with all expected extras. Breakfast was excellent, the food was very fresh and well presented. Good Turkish cuisine in the restaurant. We can thoroughly recommend the Koru, and thought it was good value for money.

The breakfast was great, the room was a relatively new bed and it was very comfortable. Turkey was the most satisfied with breakfast for 12 days, the service and cleaning were very satisfactory, and the parking was very good! It’s just that Ankara is too unsuitable for travel. It’s not like the feeling of the capital. It’s boring to take a day off in Ankara. But the Ankara people are very good. They bought a chicken sandwich. The boss saw us dry and sent us a cup of black tea. .

Travelling from Goreme to Istanbul, we needed a nice hotel to stay for the night. I didn't want the typical cookie-cutter modern room and was able to find this moderately priced hotel in a good location. We selected their King Suite room, which I was told was their best room. The staff was very friendly, and parked our car and took up our bags. The room was big and wonderfully appointed with nice romantic styled furniture. The bathroom was quite small though and I had been hoping for a spa tub and was quite disappointed that we didn't get that in our room. I was at a loss why such a huge room would have such a tiny bathroom - it doesn't make much sense. Oh well - after we checked in we walked around the area and took in the vast multitude of restaurants, stores and cafes in the nearby area so we could find a place to eat dinner. When we returned to the hotel however, there was a problem with our room key and there was no power in our room, which took them about thirty minutes to fix. Our room included breakfast and the dining room was very clean and nice with a very large selection of typical Turkish food with a few western selections. Check out was very fast and they brought our car to the front for us. It was rather enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it - especially for its location.

Located just near the coolest street and neighborhood (perfect location). The hotel is clean and provided us with great hospitality. The staff was very helpful. The hotel owner, Mr. Aker, is very thoughtful and caring for guests. He has guide my parents throughout their stay. Mr. Aker went above and beyond during COVID crisis not to only offer his personal accommodation within this unprecedented time but also helping them secure essential items to make their stay more comfortable. Due to Mr. Aker's personal care, the Gordion hotel will be the only place we stay in Ankara. In addition to the great service, he has become a wonderful friend :)) Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families :). You wont regret, just be there :)

I stayed here for 4 nights and loved the hotel, the terrace restaurant views and the staff were amazing. Both were extremely polite, professional and very welcoming. We actually decided to stay after we viewed the hotel and their amazing customer service got our attention the most. The breakfast is nice, the restaurant manager has great customer service. Our room was nice and spacious and so was the bathroom. There is a hospital across the road incase of an emergency, and there is a shopping centre 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The location is great. There is no buffet for breakfast due to the epidemic. In addition to fresh vegetables and cheese, there is omelet, which becomes a little richer! From the map, I think the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is very close. It takes 30 minutes to walk to the left, and it is easy to travel in cool autumn weather. Then go to the Archaeological Museum, the map is not far away, this time I took a taxi better, it turned out to be near Ankara castles on the mountain!

We traveled to Ankara for business with the embassies in Çankaya. The location is perfect for almost any embassy. The rooms are larger than most hotel rooms. The bed is comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is a typical for most hotels in Turkey with a variety of cheeses, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs, cereals and bread. The hotel is a boutique hotel so there are only 15 rooms which makes it quite quaint. The neighborhood is quite and you can easily walk around and feel safe. The only complaint is that the rug in the room needed a cleaning as it was beige and spotted with stains. Other than that I would recommend this place to everyone. I will stay with them again. Their large rooms have adjoining doors for those traveling with a family and the amount of space is ideal for large families.
