|0.56km from city centerGreat hotel despite the shortage of staff. Good 30 min walk into town which wouldn't be suitable for some. Very modern. Great breakfast buffet. Lots of gel and staff in masks. Nice outside area. Big modern room with good sound proofing, fridge, safe, good supply of power points, good lighting and lots of mirrors! Black out curtains. Good a/c, very quiet. Comfy bed. Good bathroom with a big bath with removable shower head. Group meal was slow and main course wasn't hot. That's our only complaint and it's probably due to the staff shortage which is worldwide problem in hospitality. We stayed as part of an organised tour. People travelling as individual couples may not notice the service issues but we did have to wait for bar service when there as a couple too.

|1.44km from city centerThe location is great for exploring Sardinia. The train station is very close as is the port. The trains are electric so there is no noise. A trolley/train tour is only a few blocks away as is the seaport. The community kitchen is a bonus and the terrace off it is perfect for a coffee and pastry in the morning sunshine--or an afternoon cocktail. The hotel room was spacious. Designed for business travellers with worktable and lighting, it worked well for us. Lovely bathroom. Hot water and good water pressure. Using the antiquated elevator was fun. We were given check-in instructions on WhatsApp and they worked as suggested except that we did not know which door was to our hallway when the elevator stopped. It is to the left but easily concluded when the key didn't work on the other door. There is a button to push when trying to leave the accommodations hallway and the front exit. We figured it out. There was no way to heat food in the community kitchen during our visit, but it appears the hotel is working on correcting that. We had our own shelf in the refrigerator and there were no issues with that. The beds were great; lighting was good; clean and comfortable. We liked the layout and concept of the hotel. Our only complaint was that there was no safe is in the room. We borrowed an extra chair from the kitchen as there was only one chair in the room and we both wanted to sit by our window. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the Central Caffe on a nearby corner. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee and pastry places, and wine bars on nearby streets or farther down on Via Roma. We ate at the Caffe Roma and the Cafe Bistrot. Most have outside tables. With a day left before departing, we hopped a morning train and took a chance to relax and view the countryside and eat lunch in another town. Spaceability City has other properties and we are interested in trying those as well. We would definitely return.

Rooms are basic but comfortable. Plastic shower screen was broken so after showering the bathroom floor was very wet. But value for money I guess.

|1.24km from city centerI stayed in Flora for the second time, the first last December (then was a couple trip with my husband and we stayed in the suite with the chiocola stairs, uncomfortable the bathroom, for the rest really beautiful, We stayed in two comfortable, clean, comfortable, comfortable rooms, the strong point is the bathroom, very comfortable. The services are different, breakfast was not very different, although both salted and sweet, but the oven products and the salted part were excellent (the eggs were very good!). The restaurant is very good, we have eaten a fish menu and I would also return to the restaurant. The staff of all departments really professional, kind and comfortable. A note separately deserves the beautiful collections present: antique and modernized, in particular toys, vessels, statues and lamps, pictures, but also various objects such as aquasantery, an old cash recorder and more, Verily beautiful and well maintained, every time I know something different. I will certainly return to it.

Clean and ordered. Pre-packed breakfast varies and is sufficient, with the possibility of making coffee or tea (no milk, which I had brought with me in bricks to single packs), but there is a kitchen in the common part. The manager was very kind and very helpful.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds were fresh, and their towels and all other given items were sparkling white. They provided regular cleaning which made the rooms so cosy every single day. I am definitely coming back since it also very strategic to access all public transport and restaurants and cafes!

|1.31km from city centerThe rooms were clean and spacious enough for two people. We really liked the location as it was central and close to everything, including the bus station. The bathroom was well equipped and even had a bidet. The staff was very helpful and they always tried their best to answer any questions we had. They even helped find contact numbers for parks we wanted to visit, and explained where to go. Breakfast was quite nice and had a nice selection of different foods and desserts every morning. The room seemed to always be warm, sometimes a little too warm. The only way to cool it down was through a window, though cooking smells from the restaurant next door would waft in. We would have liked it better if we had control over the air-conditioning in the room. We would have liked to have a kettle in the room for tea, but it wasn't a big issue since the hotel is surrounded by great cafés. We also ate dinner at the hotel, and though the food was delicious, it was a little pricey compared to the many restaurants in the vicinity. You might want to explore the area for more selection and possibly better prices for food. Overall, we had a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again. It was great value for our money, and it's a good place to stay if you want quick access to most of the interesting sites in the area.

Our room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was spacious and equipped with a very nice shower. Sitting for breakfast at the “Antico Caffè” overlooking the Bastione San Remy on a very sunny morning was awesome. Expect a selection of breads, butter, jam, croissant, juice, coffee. We will return.

|1.14km from city centerWe stayed for 3 amazing nights in this B&B on our trip to Cagliari for a wedding. It was a perfect place to stay. It was easy to get around Cagliari on foot from this spot. It was very secure. It does have a small elevator, which you may want to use, as it is on the 3rd floor of the building. Valentina was a magnificent host. The place is beautiful. We took 2 rooms - one for me and my husband, and one for our son. Everyone was comfortable. The beds were the perfect mix of soft and firm. The space was lovely, clean, spacious, and modern. It looked very new. The rooms have private bathrooms, and each of those were also lovely with all the amenities. I want to hire Valentina to help redesign my bathrooms at home. The whole space is thoughtfully laid out to provide space and privacy. She had a space for us to store our luggage on the day we checked out. I also have gluten and dairy intolerance issues and she was able to accommodate my dietary needs in the generous, thoughtful breakfast she provided, which included meat, eggs, vegan options, coffee, juices, and other options. It was warm during our visit, and the rooms were perfectly cooled. They also had windows that opened 2 different ways so we could enjoy the fresh air and the sounds of the city or keep the cool air in and keep it quiet. Valentina was mostly on site if we had a need, but we were able to come and go as needed. Our rooms were also carefully cleaned daily by a meticulous, yet thoughtful lady during our stay. It was delightful. We would definitely recommend this B&B as the ideal place to stay in Cagliari, and Valentina as the perfect host. We hope to return to Cagliari and to B&B Centro Storico via Sassari when we do. Thank you! PS - The pictures provided here are accurate representations of the facilities. It is GORGEOUS!

On arrival our room was not ready but the staff did all they could to accommodate us, our room exceeded expectations and the breakfast were superb - such a relaxing setting to sit and enjoy before heading out for the day. The Staff really make this place, they go the extra mile to ensure your stay is up there amongst the best. They made several recommendations for dinner, all of which were within a 5 minute walk - you always know its a good one when it is frequented by the locals. The location, the venue, the Staff, Cagliari itself you were superb and we have already booked our return stay!

Could not have asked for a better location. Martina and Carla were so kind and helpful both before and during our stay, always available through WhatsApp to answer questions we had about the area (eg number for local taxi). Our rooms were cleaned well every day we stayed there and we were provided fresh towels. The Wifi worked well as did the air conditioning. Coffee and water offered free of charge in reception. Our only regret was that we did not book a superior room so that we could have a balcony / access to fresh air from outside. Our window opened out into reception, but it is our error for not booking a superior room. Overall we had a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again / recommend it to anybody visiting Cagliari. 🥰

Shortly: -The owner = very helpful and very guest-friendly -the room tip top!! --family/friendly atmosphere -it was possible to leave his things before and after there, to then 'entry/check' -very central.. more central not goes - breakfast was top! Needless to book breakfast - helpful tips for restaurants /sights/vehicle rentals - everything was positive -you even got one box in the refrigerator to keep your own food/water cool -water/tea/cafe you could just take -a very nice experience -will be Blindly book again!

The hotel is very clean, the area is quiet with no disturbances during our stay. Room was equipped with AC which was very nice after coming in from the heat. The room was clean, with the beds being very comfy. The only negative to this place is that it’s in the middle of no where, in order to get there from the airport it’s either a 2 hour walk (have to walk around the motorways) or have to get a €20 taxi. In addition to this, it’s another 30 minutes roughly bus ride to the centre, and a good 20 minute walk to the closest shops. The hotel itself was excellent however the location is a really big negative to staying there. If you don’t have a car it’s not worth staying unless you can sort out travel.

Accommodation including coffee tea water and juices. Location is perfect because it is near the port and many restaurants in the immediate surroundings. Under the living room/kitchen you can use. Delightful toilet articles from Aqua di Parma. Every morning Fabrizio was present for any questions. We'll be booking it again.

|2.6km from city centerOk so this might take some time but I think everyone should know what follows before even thinking on book at this hotel. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!! It's a scam!!! I did book here for 13 nights and I literally had to go away after two nights as the rooms are ridiculously old, full of issues, and incredibly uncomfortable!!! After the first night, I woke up with extreme back pain due to the extremely poor quality of the mattress!! Seriously the worst ever slept on in 20 years of travelling!!!! The staff at the reception though, very kindly did agree to change my room. Unfortunately, the new one was even worse and with more issues!!!! I could not sleep at all due to a very loud machanic / electric noise coming from the bathroom's ceiling that goes off every 2 minutes sharp!! Literary every 2 minute period you had to listen at this strong noise which made impossible for me to sleep. So at 2am I had to go to the reception to ask to fix the issue which unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed as that is the way it is in that hotel!!! Apparently for them it's normal!! In addition the super loud music from the restaurant downstairs it is on up to almost 1am!!! What a fraud!! Furthermore, even in this room qthe mattress was so old and flat that you couldn't sleep on it!! (see pictures attached) The bathroom of both rooms (so I suspect all of them) have no windows nor a fan!!!! Seriously????? In a 4 star hotel bathrooms without ventilation????? What a joke!!!!! I've been travelling for 20 years this year, and I have honestly not seen anything so badly maintained in my travel life!!! Probably the owners is friend to someone at the council, and paid them to get the 4 stars, tipical Italian situation. This is a real scam. This hotel does not deserve more than 2 stars. No gym, no pool, horrible mattress, no ventilation in the bathrooms nor a windows, noise!!! What on earth. I had to cancel the rest of my staying (10 more nights) and book somewhere else which did cost me 30% more. The only positive thing that can be saved from this experience is the staff. From the very kind ladies that clean the rooms, to the staff at the reception (both the day and night staff) and the people at the restaurant, they are all very good, professional and people with good heart. What a waste, I hope for them that they can find a better job in a better place as they deserve. Very disappointed of booking to sell this horrible place as a 4 star hotel. Unbelievable. Ridiculous.

|1.35km from city centerThis is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.

|4.38km from city centerI've been frequenting this hotel for years on business trips, mainly due to its fantastic location. The Poetto beach, with its clear sea waters and the striking Sella del Diavolo, offers a truly unique spectacle. The various 'Nautilus' buildings, despite their name, are essentially villas converted into a hotel through extensive renovations. The rooms, however, leave something to be desired. They are not very spacious, with minimal desk and chair space, making them less suitable for tasks like remote work or alternating between the room and the terrace (when available). The bathroom, while equipped, lacks shelves or spaces to place personal items. The wardrobes have limited hangers, and the air conditioning is awkwardly positioned to blow directly onto the bed. The bed itself is comfortable, but light filtration and subpar soundproofing of the doors are issues. Personally, I find the hotel perplexing. For extended stays or in particularly hot weather, I might consider other options, even in central Cagliari. The breakfast is just passable; the eggs, a crucial test for me, are not to my liking, although the croissants you can find at nearby bars like 'Otium' are good. The overall impression is that, thanks to its prime location with little competition, the hotel doesn't feel the need to develop a particularly attentive customer service (a common practice in places like the Romagna Riviera, which may lack beautiful seas but excel in hospitality), allowing them to charge high prices and maintain a moderately empathetic approach towards customers. Given that it's often full, I understand the lack of incentive to strive for more, even in a city like Cagliari.

La struttura ha uno sgradevole odore di stantio che si sente persino dalla strada e che in camera è davvero fastidioso, inoltre nei corridoi aleggia sempre un forte odore di fumo di sigaretta. Per raggiungere le camere è necessario inerpicarsi su una (o due!) lunga e ripida scalinata che, avendo un paio di bagagli non leggerissimi al seguito, rischia anche di essere piuttosto pericolosa. Avevamo prenotato la camera con colazione, salvo poi scoprire che la ”colazione” consisteva in un ”kit” lasciato direttamente in camera (biscotto e fetta biscottata + una bustina di tè). Se fosse stato segnalato che la colazione era di tal fatta non avremmo certo pagato l'extra! Ci è capitato di chiedere un rotolo di carta igienica aggiuntivo e non era disponibile. La doccia aveva più o meno le dimensioni di una bara! E' abbastanza facile posteggiare in zona, ma quasi esclusivamente a pagamento e solo in strada. La via in cui si trova la struttura è piuttosto rumorosa sino a tarda sera e dalla mattina presto.

On Expedia it said breakfast was included (then upon arrival due to Covid I was told breakfast was cancelled!). Not sure how it’s safe to eat breakfast in a cafe and not in BnB? Bit disappointed as had paid for breakfast to be included. Also no milk in communal fridge after day 1 of my stay (it had obvs been used up and not replaced). But lovely staff nice decor and good location for Poetto beach :)
