|9km from city centerThis hotel is impeccable and the NICEST that I have ever stayed at! Very clean and the amenities of the room are also impeccable! I was on the 14th floor and even though the elevator took a bit to get up or down, (only drawback), I did take the stairs once but only to the 6th floor! Then I took the elevator the rest of the way up! This really was an incredible experience, all positive! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

We decided to take a chance on a hotel off of the boardwalk and we are so glad we did. This will be our go too place for future Ocean City visits. The staff was great! A special thanks to NeKeah, Danielle and Abbigail, they were awesome and made our stay terrific. They greeted me every day by name and were there to assist us whenever needed.

|2.93km from city centerWhile we had a lovely stay at the Hilton in Ocean City, we were most impressed by their response to a situation after our departure. Our son forgot a fairly pricey set of boots in our room upon checkout. He realized the loss 4 days later after we had returned home — a 3-hour drive away. We called the Hilton on Sunday afternoon and left a voice mail, frankly not expecting much. By 10 am Monday, we had received a call from the hotel manager verifying the item was found, directing us to a vendor for having it shipped to us, and we had an email in hand with the name of the recovery company in less than 4 minutes. The vendor “ileftmystuff.com” had all the information pre-filled into their return form by Hilton. We completed the return form quickly, received confirmation of submission, and a UPS tracking number within the hour. That was yesterday am — the boots were delivered today at 2:42 pm. What a wonderful experience after an “oops, I left my stuff”! Thanks to Kim, the Hilton manager, for such a caring and professional response, and to I Left My Stuff for an easy and quick method to retrieve lost items.

|4.31km from city centerThis was our second time staying at the Princess Bayside. We stayed back in July 2022 and decided to come back in September. We had a great time staying at the Bayside. The hotel room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We loved spending time on the balcony looking at the bay. We sat out on the beach chairs on the bay a couple of times. We enjoyed the Kayak rentals on the property. That was extremally convenient and lots of fun. The only thing I can the bayside can use is a little renovation with the carpeting. New carpeting would look nice and give the room a updated look.

|2.51km from city centerI surprised my best friend of over ten years for her birthday with an ocean city vacation. Dunes was the best choice I made. I reserved our room 2 months early, assuming summer would bring crowds. I just had to have this room for her actual birthday! One day before our arrival, I received an email alerting me of an upgrade from Dunes court; to Dunes manor (it pays to reserve ahead of time) what a difference!!!! Dunes manor is absolutely beautiful!!!! Stunning!!!! We had car trouble on the way there, so we were dropped off by Uber at Dunes court. I left my friend there with our luggage and walked to get a luggage cart from Dunes manor. The conceiurge actually brought the luggage cart all the way from Dunes manor to Dunes court to get our luggage for us in 90 degree weather dressed in full attire. There was a line to check in however, it went exceptionally fast. The service was warm and friendly. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. What I really loved was that we weren't disturbed every day by house keeping to clean our room. There was a note in our room that read ”if you would like your room cleaned, you need only ask”. Late that night my best friend got cold(she was by the air conditioner) so, she called the front desk and requested an extra blanket. Minutes later, a heated blanket was brought to our room and my friend was fast asleep. They have an indoor pool, a gym and restaurant right on sight and a trolly in back brings you right up the boardwalk for a small fee. The trolley isn't affiliated with the hotel. It's just very convenient. Oh dear, how can I forget?? The rooms balcony overlooks the Ocean. Who doesn't love waking up to that? Last but not least.... When you stay at Dunes manor you can use any of the 3 dunes locations privileges ie outdoor pool, movie night, or even special guest nights at the pool. There's always something fun to do. I'd go again and again. Thank you Dunes for making our stay a memorable one and God bless.

|1.91km from city centerNice, decently priced motel. The ocean view is amazing! I had a ground-floor room, so I could step over my patio wall and walk right across the boardwalk to the ocean. Room was clean. There was a mini fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a small safe. I had a plumbing issue with the bathtub in my room, they sent maintenance immediately to look at it and then provided us a different room promptly.

We were not disappointed at all. The front desk was awesome both check in and check out were fast. We asked the GM Frank were was a good restaurant was that was close. The Ropewalk is where he told us. The food was great and we all had a good time. This hotel has breakfast in the morning for FREE. We had no clue and it was great. It was a great start to our day. Went to the beach and came back to the hotel to find our room has been clean and the beds were made and fresh towels. We really had a great time. We are coming back next summer for a week stay.

In summer peak time, dogs are not allowed to be on the ocean city beach, so I used to take my dog to Assateague national park for my dog to have some fun on the beach. But I don't need to go all the way to Assateague anymore. Bed was very plush(I like firm bed), but it was so comfortable! Complimentary hot coffee was good enough to save my time to drive looking for coffeeshop outside of hotel. It was the best hotel experience with my furkid ever!

Vickie gave us a quick tour of the hotel along with any recommendations for activities we could do in the area upon our arrival. Located right next to beach in a quieter area and the balcony view is very nice. The added mini fridge and microwave in the room was really the icing on the cake for me. This is an older hotel that could use some upgrades, but I assure you the place was clean top to bottom.

Refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink are included. A pull out table that can be used as dining table. Large screen TV with more than enough channels. Comfy bed and sofa. Separate bathroom w/shower. Shampoo and bathing gel from large dispensers. Continental breakfast from 7-10. The line for the waffle station was always there. Egg omelet with cheese was also offered. Take advantage of the indoor swimming pool. Don’t fret if you forget bringing a towel. Fresh towels for use in the pool area is available. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

|8.19km from city centerVisited here as a birthday getaway. Day 1…Check in was pleasant, the building itself is beautiful. After a smooth check in, we get to our room; 507. We swipe the key, open the door and immediately transform to the 50’s 60’s/70’s! Horrible brown carpet! Looked like it was from the 50’s and had never been upgraded. A filthy jacuzzi tub that wasn’t fit for anyone entering until a good bleaching! Dirty looking tiles, old curtains, etc. In the spirit of being thankful, I ignored the ruined tile, the terrible, way too soft bed and loud air conditioning unit. Day 2…We get up to take a shower and 1/4 way through, the shower goes completely cold! Couldn’t finish our showers. I go to call the front desk for maintenance and can’t get an answer. Why? Because the phone in the room had NO dial tone and YES, it was plugged in. I called the hotel from my cell phone, spoke with someone who said maintenance would be up to check it. They NEVER showed so we ended up taking a cold shower…for TWO days! Can’t forget about the room curtains, shower curtains, ants, etc. Not to mention the dingy towels, wash rags, etc. I don’t know what has happened here but this oceanfront “resort” felt nothing short of a 2 star hotel. Positives…GORGEOUS ocean view!

Being beachfront, having hallways and stairways that are carpeted, or the rooms for that matter, is not a good idea. Even though the room was clean, you could feel the dampness in the carpet. Not a pleasant feeling.

Being nitpicky, the breakfast area could provide a better flow, as it was PACKED...but that's what I get for sleeping in until an hour before breakfast ended. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again.

I wanted to get an oceanfront room that was close enough but far enough from the boardwalk if that makes sense. Overall this was a good experience. The oceanfront balcony was great. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom and shower were good size. Extra sink and powder room were a nice bonus. No noise issues on our floor. Only big negatives here were the love seat and the bed - neither were comfortable, especially for a top dollar room. Also surprised that the front desk didn't follow up with us after check in, which has been standard practice when we've stayed elsewhere in OCMD.

All the staff we encountered were super nice and gave the kids hot chocolate, which I thought was sweet. Older hotel which shows in the hallways, but the room interior has some updates and seems super clean overall. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! For the price it was perfect! Will absolutely stay again!

Our stay at this property would have been typical of stays at other Marriott properties throughout our trip but for the personality of your desk clerk, Zina B. She is the best. She is efficient, pleasant and beyond helpful. She multitasks very well an leaves no one feeling neglected. It is a joy to watch her work. I don't generally take the time to write letters like this, but I was motivated by her demeanor and devotion to her responsibilities. |4.96km from city centerWe were in room 335. We had almost zero water pressure in the shower and the shower squealed like a hot tea kettle the entire time we were using it. The front right burner on the stove didn’t work and the bottom element on the oven also did not work. Maintenance came and looked at it. He was very nice but said they don’t have any replacements. He suggested just using it on the broil setting. Due to this we lost money on some of the groceries that we bought and couldn’t cook. There were some stains on the carpet. Our room was very noisy due to being right near some sort of ventilation system. We got groceries delivered and the delivery service was upset because there was only outdoor access to our side of the hotel with no elevator. Saunas were not open. One of the hot tubs was barely warmer than room temperature our entire stay. The other one was nice. One of the staff members was rude to my teenaged daughter and her friend when they got locked out and needed another key. Location was very nice. All of the other staff were nice. Slushees at the bar we’re good!

Even though I took us an hour almost to get checked in with only one lady behind the counter she did an amazing job she handled herself very well being under pressure.
I definitely recommend and will stay here again next year for our anniversary

|2.15km from city centerMy family and I always stay here. I was even there in April. I came this time solo because I was in the hospital for a couple of days and needed a break. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. As she was checking me in I noticed a man(Chad Brewer) hovering over her shoulders. He kept calling her ”girl,” He then proceeded to take over the check-in process. He talked to me as if he was trying to accuse me of doing something. I have stayed here multiple times and never have I ever felt the way he made me feel. I felt like I was being racially profiled. I might have looked tired and had marks all over my arms(from the IV in the hospital) but I have always loved coming here except for this time. I asked for an upgrade to the bayside. (I was given a street view). Very Loud! Everyone else that worked there was friendly. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

|3.91km from city centerI just wanted to let you know of the awesome job Dominique has been doing while working the front desk. She had some wonderful recommendations for me on things to do and places to go/eat while I was staying here for work. I do not know if texting at the front desk is a new thing Hampton Inn & Suites is doing or if it is something you have been doing from this location for a while, but don't stop. That has been a wonderful way to find out more things about the area while being out, away from the hotel. Tonight in particular was above and beyond. First I asked to break and $20 for bus fare and then for Dominique's opinion about taking the bus. She was fair with her assessment saying it was reliable, could get a little crowded but a good way to get down to the boardwalk and back. Second, I asked about going to Pickle's Pub and she said it was a great spot and was somewhere she might go hangout after work. Feeling confident about my choices I made my way to the bus spot right outside the hotel. This is when things start to go above and beyond. When I arrived at Pickle's, they were closed for a staff appreciation night. Not having anyone else to contact, I went to the text thread that had been established when I first checked in. Mentioning that Pickle's was closed for the staff night I asked if there was anywhere else I could go close by. Walking down the boardwalk already, I saw 4th Taphouse, an establishment that has a location just up the street from the hotel. I knew that if all else failed I could go there. Dominique to the rescue. She suggested 4th Street Taphouse but also knew of Shenanigan's Irish Pub saying she had a great time the last time she went there. Dominique was not wrong. It was the perfect place to grab a drink and something to eat. Too many emails are sent to management are about complaints or something terribly wrong. This is not one of those. The staff here at Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City/Bayfront-Convention Center has been some of the best. I am only a silver Hilton Honors member but they have treated me like a Diamond. Thank you so much and be sure to please, let Dominique know her help was immensely helpful and greatly appreciated.

Kids eat free at the restaurants and great service by the pools. Housekeeping was really backed up with cleaning the rooms as it was a busy time but they got to my room every day.

I didn’t have an opportunity to take advantage of any of the amenities but the room was clean. You can tell they try hard to maintain the property. Overall I think you’ll be very comfortable if you are not super picky. There are several areas that show multiple repairs have been made. The carpet, bathroom, linens, bed were all very clean. I loved the bed and pillows, really soft and I slept well.

|2.15km from city centerWe took a four-day weekend here in June 2022 for the Father's Day holiday. Stayed in a handicap unit to accommodate our son staying with us. Room met all our expectations. Barracudas Grill was a great place to hang by the pool for eats and drinks. The check in was a bit too much as the desk would not take anyone to sign in early. (20 minutes). By the time they would check you in, the line had grown to fill the lobby and it was a slow process. That was really unnecessary. Once that was done everything got much better. The location really met our needs as it wasn't as noisy and busy as closer to the pier and the commercial part of the boardwalk. Parking is onsite and included in the price. Beach access was perfect. The room was very comfortable and apparently was recently updated. We'll stay here again if we go to OC in the future.
