Needed an unexpected stay in Sacramento and thought a brand name like Hilton would offer a certain level of quality. Turns out as with a lot of hotels they make the lobby look good in photos and then let the rest slide. The room was around $160. It was fairly comfortable but had enough wrong with it that I wanted to write this review to let other travellers know what to expect: Even in this time of COVID, and departure some ‘clean guarantee’ partnership with Lysol, there were greasy finger marks all over our glass window, which just made us wonder what else hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom toilet seat was loose and sliding all over the place. Despite being non-smoking our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and worse the corridor smelled of weed and it would occasionally blow through our air vent, assumedly from neighbouring rooms. A power outlet by our TV was broken. The lock on the toilet door was broken. Even the phone in our room didn’t work so I had to call in our food order from my cell phone. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was freezing cold, too cold to swim in, even though it was like 80° outside. While I’m sure the hotel can’t control the weather, I would at least have hoped it would be a heated pool.... So all in all not the worst hotel ever but still failing in some pretty simple areas, which concerns me as to the work culture of this hotel and in fact Hilton as a company. Hope they can improve some of this stuff in future, or charge less money. For $160 we could’ve stayed 2 night at a Day’s Inn or similar that would’ve offered an equal level of quality.

ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE I CAN’T GIVE ANY LESS. Please do not waste your time and stay here. I’ve stayed here plenty of times and would consider myself a regular-disregarding the cockroaches, the broken TV or fridge (because it’s always one or the other), only due to the fact that I’ve been here before and felt comfortable with the man who used to check me in (Ron). However the last three times I’ve come in, it was not Ron who had helped me. My last stay was on November 4, 2020, where I was checked into my room at about 10:30 at night by Manoj. To provide background, I am a female in my early 20s and confided in this place, as I’ve stayed here alone comfortably, several occasions prior to this, but that was not the case. After being checked in by Manoj, I comfortably (as I should), laid in the bed while watching TV.. only to get up and find a huge wet stain on my pants. My initial reaction was to touch the wet stain and smell it. What came from this stench no one should go through. It was a puddle of URINE and it smelt horrific. After investigating the stain on the bed, it was in fact bodily fluids from another human. At this point, I had been hysterical and in tears, calling the front desk for help. I stated “Hi, I just checked into my room and there is a puddle of urine in my bed. There is urine all over my pants and up my back.” In exchange, Manoj told me “It is impossible for that situation to happen,” and eventually told me I was “lying.” After roughly 2 minutes of back and forth arguing, he told me the answer I was looking for all along, that he would send security to check it out. After all, I had only asked for help, never stating the word “refund.” Once security had arrived, I showed him the stain alongside my back and pointed out the puddle. He had initially walked into the room chuckling, disregarding the state I was in, disregarding the bodily fluids of another person on my pants, up my back, and on the bed i was expected to rest my head at. i had then insisted that he smell the stain, which he didn’t (only due to the fact that he didn't need to be within close proximity to determine it was urine), and realized I was not lying. In the end, I was transferred to a different room, as this was my only place to stay for the night. However, the problems didn’t stop there. I was transferred to a total of 3 different rooms, and the fourth room was fit for a guest to stay in. The rooms that they had attempted to place me in were all discovered to have faults. Room 328 was the room that had the urine incident, room 311 or 314 (I’m not exactly sure, but it was a corner room on the right wing), the fridge was not working; In room 117, the TV was not working and eventually, I was able to lay my head to rest in room 207 at 12:00 (an hour and a half since I had checked in). Out of anger, I had left my pants, soaked in urine, in room 207. However, I have my shirt, which absorbed the urine and stench. Travelodge by Wyndham, I had confided in you t

I never write reviews, but my experience at this place was so bad I have to warn people about this place. I booked a room for me and my father for three days with a late check-out. The next day my brother arrived to pick up my father. My brother knocked on the door and the phone rang immediately, it was the employee at the front desk saying my brother needed to leave, we can't have guests. My father told the employee my brother literally just knocked on the door and he wasn't staying. The employee at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful and said if my brother didn't leave immediately he would call security. My dad asked what he would be calling security for, because someone knocked on a door? The employee at the front desk then said we could not stay there anymore and had to leave, and called security. When I called and spoke to the employee on the phone I requested a refund for a portion of what I paid if he was going to make us leave, and he said he was not going to refund my money, he was disrespectful and hung up in my face. When I went to the office to talk to him I received the same attitude and he turned his back on me. After this incident I read reviews on about this place on multiple sites and they have done this before to others. This is something they do to many guests, all my brother did was simply knock on the door. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and was kicked out of a room I paid for because my brother came and knocked on the door. Unbelievable. On top of that it is falsely advertised as having a continental breakfast. It DOES NOT. What was given was a banana, danish, or small cupcake. There were also cigarette burns in the comforter. Beware. Do not stay at this place unless you want to be monitored, harassed, and disrespected.

This was my base of operation during a trip to CA during the major COVID-19 outbreak on the west coast. It is in a great locations with numerous restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel, good fast food, good sit-down restaurants and some stores for groceries. Easy access to stores and Freeways. The rooms are very nice and provide excellent desk area for business travelers. Room includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, and newer beds. Very comfortable room and good controls for heat and AC. During the virus outbreak the maid service was willing to work with me to NOT clean my room daily but do a complete exchange of towels and take my trash. It saved us both any cross contamination. The housekeeping staff was terrific! The hotel has free parking, secure outer doors, and very nice hotel. The virus required the hotel to only provide Grab-n-Go bags for breakfast which had to be eaten in the rooms. Sadly, I felt the food was much too limited. I asked for an extra muffin and yogurt and was told only one per person. In this normal "buffet hotel for breakfast" it would seem that they would make sure we got a decent amount of foods. Additionally, due to the governor's orders, the fitness gym and pool were closed. I fully understand this and it was not a problem. Health was vital during this time. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for the staff, the location, and the rooms. Although the hotel is very close to the landing and take-off patterns of SMF, it was never a sound that bothered me or could be heard, but I was on the east side of the hotel away from the airport.

The style of this hotel is a bit religious. There was some smell in the room, but after using the air freshener, it was all right. The restaurant is okay, with coffee, milk, juice, bread, fruit, yogurt, and you can also make your own waffles. The room was relatively spacious, and the large bed was very comfortable, but something happened to the last day. At night, a bug dropped from the ceiling, fell directly to the pillow, and was still crawling, which was disgusting. The next morning I communicated with the people in the hotel. The people in the hotel said that they would contact Ctrip and give me a statement, but I have n’t received it yet. This is not very satisfactory.

Its the standard Residence Inn setup with a sitting area, full kitchen (including dishes, pots and pans, etc...) and a comfy king size bed. It was a little bit difficult to find as mapping took us to a shopping center. You have to look for the signs as its located behind the shopping center and borders the freeway. Even with the room facing the freeway, there was no road noise in the room. With covid happening, the staff all wore masks and socially distanced, plus breakfast was in take out bags (which were surprisingly good). Breakfast bags included hardboiled egg, muffins, granola bars, fruit, yogurt, juice plus cereal and milk. I also used disinfecting wipes to wipe down the surfaces in the room so that I could feel more comfortable. The place did feel like it was pretty full and there were lots of kids at the pool - so we avoided that area. We like to be able to cook for ourselves and to have a place to sit other than the bed to watch tv. Being able to bring our dog was also a big plus, so we would stay here again.

The hotel is relatively simple and cheap. The front desk was more enthusiastic. The hotel was not equipped with breakfast, so why did it all disappear. The beauty at the front desk told us that coffee and tea were served at 6:30 in the morning, which made us a little surprised. Fast food is not far away, and supermarkets are not far. There is free parking. Close to the road, a bit noisy at night. But people who sleep well are not affected.

We were driving through on our way back to Portland in our RV and needed a place to stay with AC. There were 7 of us and 2 dogs, so we booked a 2 bedroom room. I missed that it was not pet-friendly, so my oldest son stayed in the RV with the dogs. I wasn’t acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member (not a big deal) and had to ask for the free waters (we were parched). But the front desk staff was very helpful in advising us that we could plug our RV in overnight. Unfortunately, none of the amenities were open so my son had to make due with ‘swimming’ in the bathtub. The normal hot breakfast was not available- I’m sure that was noted on the website somewhere when I booked it, but was a bit disappointed to not have that nice hot breakfast. They did have bag breakfasts that could be eaten in your room- muffin, frozen breakfast sandwich, yogurt and spoke and juice. For a quick overnight stay, it is very convenient to the interstate. There is a Safeway and several restaurants within walking distance and the regular amenities available (not during the shutdown). Would definitely stay again.

The Inn is located convient to the Capital and the waterfront in an older part of Sacramento. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are only a few rooms, and they are beautifully decorated and comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfasts were good, but cost a little extra. I enjoyed the Inn and would go back. The bedrooms are on the second floor, so if you have difficulty with stairs, you might find them a little challenging, but for us, it was perfect.

I wasn’t crazy about the five people they were hanging out in the lobby. I guess that they were guests, but wasn’t really sure. Like other reviewer’s have said the parking lot is extremely small. I was not crazy about my room being on the ground floor, but for one night I made due. The bathroom mirror is horrible. I forgot to take a picture of it. I had to iron my Regal church and the ironing board cover is garbage. The iron was put away with the water reservoir full and the plug on it was left open and I did not realize it and I picked it up and spilled water all over myself and the carpet after just getting out of the shower. My wife remarked that there were bare wires hanging out of the ceiling in the “sitting area.” Upon pulling the iron off of the shelf in the closet I realize to what the iron was sitting up against. It was the smoke detector and the battery back up that belong to hanging from those wires in the ceiling that was in the closet laying on the shelf behind the iron. Needless to say I’m not crazy about staying in a place that takes fire safety and throws it out the window. Somebody in housekeeping had to know that that was not up there and I feel quite sure they told somebody at the front desk and they drop the ball. The photos depicting that room are also misleading. They make the room look longer and deeper than it really is. It is bigger than a standard room, but not as big as I thought it was going to be. I will never understand why a chain decides to use curved shower rod assemblies and then allow that rod to sag. We did not even have time to turn on the television, go look at the pool, or any other amenities.

Big, bright, high-ceilinged lobby and bkfst room Wonderful breakfast (best scrambled eggs I've had in years) with many selections. Cheerful and professional staff. Lots of parking, including a few wider-than-usual spots on right side of the hotel (as you're facing it), and an overhang for N. Calif's hot and sunny days — of which there will be many this year, given the winter-long drought the area has already faced. Beautiful enclosed conference room right off the lobby. Big rooms, great beds, and large, open closets with shelves — great when one has much luggage, as we do. Two downsides, neither of which diminishes the enjoyment to any real degree: The place has only THREE of those dinky, nearly useless airport-style 3-wheel zippy luggage carts — insufficient for a large, often packed, 4-story hotel. We got in at 8 p.m. and (not unexpectedly), all three carts had been taken and hoarded in rooms by selfish guests. A front-desk person helpfully fetched the kitchen serving cart and directed us to the back of the hotel, quite near our first-floor room — facilitating a less painful unloading than we would have endured. (Come on, GM — thumb your nose at corporate management and also have at least one larger, "regular" cart — with hard-rubber tires, please — available for guests with lots of luggage. Keep it out of sight if need be, and have it for those who really need it. And neither my wife nor is is fond of the new-style-HGI rolling bathroom door, which I guess some designer figured would be appreciated because the door does not swing out into the ROOM's entry door. True, but "regular" doors offer much more privacy. Overall, though, a first-class place.

This Fairfield was one of three Marriott Hotels I stayed in three nights in a row and by far the worst. The front desk person was not wearing a mask against Corona Virus as recommended. The room was out dated, there was a six inch crack in the bathroom sink, dirt under the sink on the floor. The top of the furniture near the TV was damaged and looked shabby. The small tv and remote were way outdated and the remote a pain to use. Worst of all there was a yard maintenance person working in the parking lots around the hotel making a significant amount of noise with various equipment like hedge trimmer and commercial leaf blower. My wife and I were really tired from long drives and had the window open for some fresh air while we tried to relax but this noise was really annoying and continued well beyond any reasonable time and likely violated local codes or noise ordinances. By 8 pm I had had enough and called the front desk to complain, something I have very seldom done in 20 + years of frequent travel. The guy at the front desk said he would check it out and call me back. He did that to report this yard maintenance person was in fact working for the hotel but there was nothing he could do about it and if he tried to it "Would make me(the front desk clerk) look bad." The leaf blower continued until 8:30 pm when the sun was setting. I am sure others in the hotel were also bothered by this racket. This response was pathetic and not at all the standard I have experienced with Marriott properties over the years. Clearly given this total lack of responsiveness to my complaint and the run down condition of the room, it likely means inadequate management of the facility. On the Marriott website they claim their are making an exceptional effort to clean and sanitize rooms during this pandemic, other than social distancing at check in, I saw no proof this hotel was doing so. This hotel is a "One and Done" for me, from now on will stay elsewhere in Sacramento and recommend you consider other accommodations as well. Simply not up to Marriott standards.

Recently my husband had an operation at UC Davis Med. Center. Because on preliminary pre-op visits, we found that the traffic into Sacramento was horrible! We decided to stay in Sacramento the night before his procedure and book the room for the second night for my sister and I to stay in. After going on-line, we decided on Hotel Med Park. It is right across the street from the parking structure of the Med Center. Which is VERY handy. It is a bit pricey, but less than the other nearby hotel. The room was typical, though there was a nice little balcony with table and chair out front. I would suggest getting a room on the back side of the hotel if you want a quieter room, as the hotel is on a busy street. (unsure if the back rooms have balconies) Also, I would stay away from any room near the elevator, as it was a bit old and loud. The complimentary breakfast was a good one, with lots of options. And the clerk at the desk was helpful when I needed to schedule a later check-out time or a possible extra night. They appear to be understanding about the hospital problems that can crop up. I appreciated that A LOT!!!!!! It is in a good area to access activities and restaurants in the downtown area East of the Capitol area. That was handy! I must warn you about the parking!!!!! Do not bring a large vehicle, as the parking is underneath the hotel and the angle of the turn onto the ramp is VERY tight. Many people appear to have hit the wall there as it is all scarred up. The spaces are also very tight.

I have stayed here a handful of times when I am in town for quick business. Nothing fancy but does the job. Great and convenient location. Parking is first come first serve however, I have never had a problem finding a spot but just know it's not guaranteed! My biggest gripe would be the beds. They just really aren't that comfy. And one of the rooms I got had a lopsided bed making me fee inverted. The highlight of this place though and why I am even taking a moment to review is because of the amazing breakfast attendant, Marlynn! If it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't have come back. She is attentive, hospitable, super friendly and talkative, and just an all around joy to be around. Her spirit is infectious! Such a rarity in this world. Marlynn, I hope you are doing ok during these really trying times! Anyway, If you are in town, make sure you check this place out or at least go say hi to Marlynn! Trust me, you will be glad you did!

Arrived at midnight and was ready for run down $50 a night hotel. I just needed a clean place to sleep. The desk clerk was fine, I asked a few questions and she answered what she could. Again I had very low expectations based on these reviews. I was very surprised by the clean room, floor and bathroom. It was well worth the $50, given I was only there to rest. I had a choice stay downtown for 7 he and pay $200 or stay near the court house for $50. I slept well, my shower worked well and if I have to go back to court I will most likely stay here again. #getwhatupayfor

this is a motel. It's close to the Convention Center, and Midtown Sacramento. I stopped here for a night, from SF, on my way to go snowboarding in Tahoe. It's not fancy, but it has what I needed at the time--a bed, and a shower.

Nice room. Spacious. Clean. Bathroom looks like 4stars. Breakfast is good but cheap. Security looks out for customers n people are friendly. However, it's hot with eyes. Theirs homeless tents pitched all around and ghetto like.
