This place is on the first floor of what i think was an office building. Very close to the Duomo Might have been suckered in as the price advertised was € 370, reduced to about 160 Stayed here on an overnight trip. Arrived at midday and was given room 106.Yes its clean. Not very quiet when the noise of the hoover dominates everything all afternoon. No safe in the room. The bathroom was a joke. Hand held shower basically. The toiletries looked like and smelled like something from a hostel. I had requested a taxi for the morning at 5.00am to go to linate. When i left at 0500 there wasn't anyone on the desk-as there hadnt been all night. Not even sure there were Fire escape diagrams anywhere in the room either. Why supply a nespresso machine if you then buy the cheapest knock off supermarket capsules. Theres no way in hell it would ever be worth more than €150 a night. Its a glorified hostel with your own private room
This was our first vacation since pandemic, and I wanted it to be perfect. The staff did not disappoint me. The new renovated rooms are excellent, bright, very clean and trendy. Plus they are spacious. The stay and the services we have received at Park Hyatt Milan has been excellent and has surpassed all our expectations. The staff, without any exception in all departments, was very wonderful and catered to our family needs. They were very professional and most importantly very friendly also very well trained. I must complement the Front of the House Hotel Manager, Federico Calla, you can see him every where in the hotel greeting and welcoming hotel guests and paying attention to the details.
We were delighted to spend four nights at the well-appointed and centrally located Hotel Spadari in two different rooms at two different times during our vacation. The rooms were exceedingly pleasant with a modern artistic decorating scheme carried on throughout the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms outstanding. The staff friendly and helpful. The service exemplary. The location perfect. We easily walked to the Duomo, the Galleria, the Sforza Castle. A great value. We are recommending this hotel to all our friends who travel.
The hotel has a triple room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed (very wide). The toiletries are complete and the quality is good. There are also disposable slippers. The best is the hotel's location. Turn left when you go to the Cathedral Square, a distance of 50 meters, next to the Renaissance Department Store, and it is easy to walk to Monte Napoleon Avenue. The only regret of this stay was that the corner of the quilt was a little bloody, and it was discovered the next night.
The hotel room is very big, the service is very good, and free late check-out is given. I booked the supreme deluxe room, which is cheaper than the supreme gallery room, but the balcony is under the dome when the balcony is opened, the room is also very large, and the sound insulation of the balcony door is also very good. , It is noisy outside when you open it, and when you close it, it is instantly far away from people's voices. The hotel's breakfast adopts a pure order mode.
The disadvantage is that the floor and bathroom of the hotel room are a little old, and the balcony and the adjacent room are not locked. If the balcony door is not closed, the people next to it can come in directly. Maybe because it is in the gallery, it cannot be renovated, so it is somewhat like the floor and the room. The balcony will be a bit older, but overall the price is good. On Saturday and Easter, this kind of room and location can be booked at a price of more than 2,000 two days in advance, which is quite cost-effective in Europe. span
Overall rating 4.2 If you come to travel, it is recommended to stay. If you are often here, it is not recommended, because the only selling point of the hotel is the dome, and the facilities are similar to four-star
This must be one of the best deals in town. The quality/price is superb. Location, rooms, personnel, breakfast are top notch. Near everything worth seeing,in a very nice, quiet street. It all provides a wonderful, very Italian taste to any visit. Near restaurants and shopping. The Duomo and the Vittorio Emmanuelle Arcade are minutes away on foot. Unbeatable!
This small hotel is a gem. It is very centrally located, but on a quiet side street with very few cars. The layout includes lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. We stayed in the Duomo Suite, which was super clean, had great light due to the floor to ceiling windows and even included a private back patio. Everyone here went out of their way to make our four night stay enjoyable. The staff are superb. The complementary evening cocktail was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was outstanding, local treats, great coffee of course, and delicious ripe fruit. The front desk staff kindly answered our many questions. It was always a pleasure to return here after a long day exploring Milano!
The room is a triple room and the room is very large. After looking downstairs for a long time, a staff member came down. On the first day of the stay, only one sheet was placed on the bed, and the core was immersed. The next day I went out to communicate with the front desk. When I came back, I found that the core was finally installed. Breakfast is an order. Overall it is still very good.
Took a solo trip to Milan and wanted something in the centre of the city — this hotel was perfect! Right where you want to be, steps from the Duomo, Galleria, and castle. When I had questions prior to my arrival, Anna responded quickly and was of great help throughout my stay, too! I was upgraded from a single to a double room for greater comfort, and it was much appreciated. Room was spotless, modern and very comfortable! Luggage storage is available and locked tight. Truly have nothing bad to say about this place!
The ODSweet Duomo Milano Hotel, BW Premier Collection, a 4 Star hotel, is inspired by the world of sweet; four floors of sweetness and emotions. Two floors are dedicated to marshmallow and two to chocolate to offer a unique experience in Piazza Duomo in Milano with a breathtaking view of the city.
Business hotel suitable for business trip, convenient transportation, 4 subway stops to the cathedral, there is a basement to park but only four cars can be parked, the service is relatively warm. There are not many types of western breakfast but the taste is good. If you are free at night, there are hand-made leather goods shops and flea markets next to you. Overall pretty good 👍
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I’m seriously at a loss of words but I’m going to get it together to write this review. For starters, the check in staff and management are liars and full of greed. After booking a double room, I called the hotel and spoke with Aurora who confirmed that I had three people and three beds. I was surprised that she was so quick to even tell me this given that I just made the reservation. We were on a road trip from Corsica to Berlin making a stop in Milan. Once we got to Milan after 10 PM tired and ready to check in - Roberto asked for my name and reservation, when I told him we were three he said it wasn’t possible to check in. Ok....so after telling him we talked to his colleague he called her on her off hours and she blatantly lied to him and said she didn’t speak with anyone confirming a reservation. There was nothing he could do, as he said. At this point I was 115$ out of a reservation that could not be used, why? I called and confirmed and then you tell me a completely different story. So at this point Roberto then said “You all can sleep on the street or find somewhere else to stay because I can’t let you stay here.” And then he told my mom “If you kill your son in your room, I’m not going to be responsible.” Wow - this is something I have NEVER experienced before. So when calling the Manager who gave a DIFFERENT name from what Roberto told us which was supposedly Couri, he also said that he was next to Aurora the entire shift and she didn’t speak to anyone. So you’re saying the ENTIRE shift you are next to her, even for the 30 seconds I was on the phone confirming three beds? And then the manager proceeded to talk over me, not listening, and just completely rude and said “I’m not giving you a refund, because you had a booking and you didn’t use it.” I DIDNT USE IT BECAUSE you didn’t let me check in!! He was so rude and was not listening to the customer at all. I forgot to mention when Roberto showed us the room (that was big enough to fit a IMMEDIATE FAMILY of three) it was dirty and I would not be surprised if there were bed bugs or other critters roaming in there. I would not recommend ANYONE stay here, please just find another accommodation. For the price they ask for such a nasty place and nasty attitude you can find better accommodations with nicer customer service and cleaner atmosphere in the area. If I could give zero stars I would.
Convenient location, around 10 minutes from the Milano Centrale Train station. Its inside of a big street with a lot of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Capsule rooms are decent in size and clean. Heating works properly in the rooms. Expect a fair amount of noise as the capsule is made of thin metal so you can hear banging sounds. Bathrooms are big in size, and clean. If you have your own washing liquid, you can use the washer dryer for free. You also get a welcome drink when you move in. If you are under 27,you dont have to pay the city tax, just to let you know. Overall, it was worth the price and the staff are very helpful.
Hotel location is very good to find, from the Central Railway Station to the hotel walk 7 or 8 minutes, is also very close to the subway station, the hotel is listed four-star standard, unlocked with the key, the key can be stored at the front desk, there is a small elevator. The standard room can accommodate a bed for children and adults. This is the same as the country, the room is very clean, the pillow is very comfortable, and the bathroom has a small yellow duck. The room we stayed in was carrying a small road. The car was not too noisy, it was acceptable, the room was soundproof, and the room where we lived could not stop the sound of the corridor. Hotel breakfast is very rich, if you like Western food, you can definitely satisfy your appetite. Our 7-year-old child has no charge for breakfast. The staple food is cake mousse sliced bread horns can be loose, hot milk, tea, coffee, water, fruit is super rich, red Pomelo, cantaloupe, pineapple, orange, saint fruit, and fruit fishing. Breakfast 6:30-11:00, we eat late in the morning, two meals a day, save time to eat more. Bathing hot water is enough, it is slower in the shower room, but it is okay. There are many restaurants around the hotel that are Western food. There are retail outlets on the train station that can buy water or souvenirs. The water is cheaper than other places, 1.5L 2 Euro. This is really good, cost-effective, it is recommended
I stated here in a private room for 4 nights in November 2021. The private rooms are on the third floor next to the kitchen and living room area and therefore you can expect to hear noise from these places even late at night. Also the lift didn’t work when I was there. The room itself was basic but clean. The bathroom was nice with a decent shower. You do not get room service or fresh towels etc. Breakfast was included in the room price and this was fine. There is a small bar and entertainment some nights but I did not bother with it. The staff were helpful and friendly and lots of good public transport options close by. You can also walk to a lot of the main tourist attractions from here. The Duomo is about a 15 minute walk.
Milan is an expensive city, yet this Hotel is very reasonably priced. A family hotel for more than 100 years, the furniture and art reflects an eclectic collection built over the generations. My daughter and I found it quite charming and delightful. Our twin room was a good size, with excellent air conditioning and chilled sparkling and spring water refreshed in the room each day. Expresso coffees will be made by staff on request at any time, and there is also a bar on site. The bathroom in our room included a full bath and had excellent lighting. The complimentary breakfast provided was a generous spread. We requested soy milk for our coffee on the first morning we attended breakfast (due to allergies) and as none was available we quite happily drank our fresh coffees black. Without requesting, the next day soy milk was on the menu! The hotel is a convenient walk to the metro and the tram stops right outside the door. It took about 20 minutes to get to the Duomo Cathedral. This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we will return.
The hotel was very hard to find as there was scaffolding all around , at arrival the receptionist was very polite and helpful. The lobby looked very modern and stylish, once we reached the corridors going to the room I was disappointed at how old and neglected they were . The room was not what I was expecting at all very old and basic with minimal necessities . The toilet was discouraging . Cleanliness was average- good . I felt very disappointed that the rooms did not look like the pictures all the attention was for the lobby and everything else was run down and old looking. As much as I had high expectations of this hotel I was very disappointed at the lack of high standards for the price paid. I don’t think I would like to book at the hotel again.
The owner of this hotel is obviously a big James Bond fan since the lobby and basement are almost like a private museum dedicated to the theme. This adds to the personality of the hotel and regardless of whether you like or not, it is a hotel unlike any other you have been to. The whole hotel is stuck in time - the elevators, furniture, overall feeling. Perhaps it will feel nostalgic, perhaps outdated. The room was clean and ok. The bed is on the hard side; the towels are much better than in most Italian hotels. There wasn’t any view - there was a fixed wooden panel on the window that blocked practically all the light. The breakfast is exactly what one expects in Italy in such hotel - simple. The front desk was very kind and helpful; they didn’t charge us for the minibar, which was a nice gesture.
First of all, the hotel's environment and facilities are very good. It is the old house of the playwright Verdi, which has a European style. The front desk staff's attitude and standard are first-rate, and they are worthy of standing! Because I was in a hurry to buy a mask before I left, I asked many pharmacies along the way during the day when they were out of stock. In desperation, I went to the front desk of the hotel for help at night. Finally, I found one that was in stock. The uncle at the front desk told me the address of the pharmacy in detail and gave me a map. The gratitude is beyond words! Of course, the flaws are not covered. Two minor issues need to be mentioned. The quality of the kettle in the rooms is slightly lacking, and the breakfast is not rich enough. In addition, this hotel is perfect!
The environment is okay, the price of a 4-star hotel is not expensive at 400 per night. The location is in the big suburbs. It takes 15 minutes to walk off public transportation and 30 minutes to the city center by subway. It is not convenient to go anywhere. It is cheap Good choice. There are not many facilities in the gym. Wearing slippers in the wet bathroom is easy to slip. What I want to say is the attitude of the front desk when I check out. My English is very poor. I didn’t understand the tax. I thought it was going to the airport or the city of the train station. It was 30 Euros for two people. I said it 3.4 times. I was very impatient. Then I didn’t understand and I took the one at the front desk. I knew what she meant by looking at the sign. Why didn’t I just take it out when I didn’t understand it the first time? Anyway, choose the city center next time.
Was a family of 3 travelling to Italy from Singapore under the Vaccinated Travel Lane, where my Singapore Vaccination certificate is an equivalent to the Italian Green Pass. Our vaccination certificates had a QR code, but could not be scanned by the Italian App as in it only could read QR codes from European countries (all above information Verified with the Italian Embassy and my local government). I had no such issues entering hotels, trains and flights in my past 12 days in Italy (rome, florence, pisa, venice), where everyone I met would just read the certificate and manually verify it without the scanning app. Untrained—＞ However, upon arrival, the front desk at the hotel insisted I show a Green Pass for me to be admitted, and refused to check the certificate manually. Upon Questioning them on why they could not do so manually, they simply claimed that the previous few people we met were not doing their job well and they were following the CORRECT standard procedure, which they highlighted I quote “our government is not doing their job well”. This meant that they claimed the Italian National Air Carrier, Italian National Train Operators, were incompetent, and allowed us to fly and travel around being a “COVID RISK”. Rude —＞ This obviously got frustrating for both sides, which I would understand if the Hotel staff would get impatient. However, there was a tan skinned Asian male hotel receptionist ( from the Philippines if the accent I heard is correct), who was exceptionally rude to us. He was the one who claimed the Italian government was not doing their jobs properly, and repeatedly shouted at us saying “You are in Europe now sir, it is different”. This was really rude, considering we told him that we had already been in Italy for 12 days already and were familiar with the regulations. He also claimed our vaccination certificates were fake and threatened to call the police on us after I said that the Italian embassy back in Singapore had already clarified to me that our COVID vaccination certificates are Italian Green Pass equivalent, where it should be manually read and not scanned. This man also engaged and initiated a verbal argument with us, instead of trying to help us as guest. Smoking us —＞ After a while, the manager I presumed, stepped in to resolve the issue and came to an agreement for us to declare and sign a form to agree that we were following the rules, which I appreciate. However, he tried to prove his point where our “certificates” were invalid by saying the app could scan a Bulgarian covid vaccination certificate, which I trusted. However, that day I realised that Bulgaria was part of the EU and definitely could be scanned by the App, as mentioned above where the app could only scan EU QR codes. Sketchy —＞ before booking this hotel, we read that the hotel had a nice balcony from the reviews for some rooms, and we thought that we could have a chance to get such a room. ( we did not ask for such a room, as we were busy
For start to finish our stay was very, very good. Staff are super friendly, the location is very good, had options for dietary requirements in the breakfast, beds were very comfortable. I'm coeliac and lactose intolerant and there were options for me. There was bread, muffins, fruit and salad which is a lot more than some places and provided a great start to the day. The breakfast staff really were a credit to the hotel. It was my first time I'm Milan and everything I wanted to see was within a few kilometres from the hotel location so I would say it is quite central. The bar in the hotel was lovely and they also had a great little courtyard. The prices in the bar were very good as well and they had a good selection of drinks. We stayed in a twin room. It was very spacious. The beds were super comfy. We had an upper area in our room with a sofa so that was an added bonus. The room was very clean. I'm already planning my next trip to Milan and I will be staying here again.
Hotel muito bom por um preço justo! Atendimento excelente. Muito limpo. Local do estacionamento um pouco distante caso haja necessidade. Cafe da manha acima da media de hotéis da mesma categoria. Banheiro do quarto padrão é muito bom. Em minha opinião, é um hotel altamente recomendável.
The hotel is in an excellent position, rooms are extremely small however comfortable. Nice breakfast and Roof Terrace. I have however to rate ZERO the unprofessionalism of the Management / Receptionists: I have been wrongly charged three days for Parking (75 Euros), while I have used the Parking only one day, the last one. Unfortunately, when I checked out I was in a hurry and the Receptionist himself did not show me the final bill before charging. Never mind, errors can happen, not a problem. I have therefore called the Hotel (I live abroad) to rectify this, I was asked to send an email with all the details, which I did, but unfortunately despite several reminders, after 6 days NO-ONE wrote me back, NO-ONE contacted me, and of course NO REFUND. The hotel has all my details (my stay was from the 20th to the 23rd of March) and of course, I can prove that I rented a car for one day only, and they can also verify this with the Parking which is just 200mts far from the Hotel. We are talking about 50 Euros, which should immediately be refunded, with a simple apology. Really surprised for this attitude from a 4-star Hotel in Milan City Centre
The hotel is located behind the city, from the center of the neofita is unlikely to get to it without adventures. First the subway, then several stops on the bus, half-wild area) We took a taxi from Duomo for 25 euros. The hotel itself did not cause special complaints. The rooms are normal, there is a refrigerator, good spacious bathrooms, lots of towels, daily change. Wi-Fi is weak. Breakfast is simple, without excesses and excesses, but you won't stay hungry. Ah, still. Rosettas aren't euros, but such as were in the Soviet Union) Our extension didn't fit.
Hotel location is good, very close to the Milan Central Railway Station, but the hotel is relatively old, the soundproofing is very poor, knocking on the door opposite to knocking on the door, was awakened in the middle of the night. Travel is more suitable, travel is convenient, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it, it tastes good
I have just returned from a week's stay at this hotel which was very convenient for me as I have family living nearby who could not accommodate me. This is my third stay at the hotel in the last 20 years and I intend to return. The room was just the right size, clean and comfortable with all the hot water you could wish for. The minifridge was the big enough to chill a bottle of champagne to take out for dinner. The location is great with a variety of interesting walks to get into the centre of Milan and good links to public transport. I know the area very well and it has nice bars, restaurants and shops and is quiet at night. Lovely breakfasts in panoramic breakfast bar on the top floor. Grazie Mille to the staff who were courteous and helpful.
Firstly excellent location a 10 minute walk from Romolo metro station. Hotel is immaculate in all areas, very generous single room and a shower that would drown you it is so good. Slept well in a quiet room with good ventilation. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and a nice top floor location overlooking the rooftops. Also only a 20 minute walk to canal side restaurants and bars. Finally, amazing staff - helpful and really friendly. Very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.
Breakfast: We eat breakfast everyday at the hotel. Wonderful to be served by Domenico and his staff. Always got everything we wanted. Even before we asked for it, it was there (we both loved the red orange juice). Room: The bed was perfect. You could charge and turn of Lights from the bed. The bed was nicely done every day. We got a bathrobe, and slippers (one pair for the room and one pair to walk down. Small details that they hade one big and one small pair adds to the total experience ) to use to go down in the spa. Easy to use safe and a full fridge with water, beer, wine and soft drinks. Even space to put your own drinks. Always filled up so perfect ＜3 Bathroom: well equipped with different products and possibilities to get more if needed like shaving. The rain shower was amazing, the same was the handling of it with easy push buttons to start stop with perfect water flow. The toilet had a hand held shower. Love it! Sauna: nice sauna with relaxing area, and massage (did not use), but missed towels there when we went out. Place: in the centre right on the M1 tube line. Very easy walking and using this Transport to the airport: We ordered transport to the Airport through the reception and what a transport. Going out in the latest Mercedes S Class 500 is just amazing. What a car to be transported in. With reclining air conditioned seats, the trip to the airport was way too short. It would actually been just fine to be driven all the way home (Norway) in that car. So never miss the opportunity to order through the hotel reception. Only issue we had was with the heating/cooling of the room. It was not possible to adjust the temperature (23,4 ) since the system was down from day 2. We solved it by opening the window (and did not talk with the staff about it, so we cannot complain) All in all a great stay and we will highly recommend the place and it is fantastic staff.
Super friendly and attentive staff!!! 10/10
Greeted upon arrival, speedy check in process and was escorted directly to my suite and briefly given a tour of all features in the room. Very modern and clean, a superior luxury hotel with all high quality amenities. Breakfast in the first floor lounge/bar area with ceiling to floor panoramic glass view of the century old garden. The entire hotel is the perfect combination of modern and antique interior with rich woodwork and a grand entrance marble staircase and pillars throughout the foyer. Great central location walking distance to the duomo cathedral and main shopping area.
15 days, 14 nights in Italy, the most comfortable one of the 5 accommodations I stayed in. 1. The real big bed is not like other hotels / hotels that are made up of two small beds or do not even try to do it yourself. The cushions are very comfortable and the room is very spacious. 2. Breakfast is also OK. Vegetables and fruits can also provide boiled tea. 3. City tax 5 euros / person / night 4. Google navigation is not near but not difficult after the subway station exits Find
I was in Milan for a few days before a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at Madama. Féro and Alessandro were incredibly helpful with all of my questions and gave me great recommendations of things that I should see around the city. The breakfast every morning was simple but just what I needed and the dinner was always tasty. I met a lot of interesting people at the bistro while I was there as well. The shared room was very comfortable and it had plenty of storage and outlets. I was able to use the luggage storage on my last day so I still got to wander around the city for a few hours even after check out. Great neighborhood. Great people. I can't wait to come back to Italy and stay again.
I prepaid this hotel few month in advance through "Tripadvisor Plus". While in general I was satisfied with a room itself - it was NOT the room that I pay for. Next day after check in I checked my records and sure enough - I booked a "superior" room and was put in "regular" room. When I stopped by at front desk- they claimed that I was in "upgraded deluxe" room. That is not what it looked like to me. The room I was given did fit a "standard" description. In fact- it was even smaller then one in their "standard" pictures as it had no space for seating bench. "Standard" = 173sq f. No bells or whistles. Small, I had to put my luggage on bed to unload it. "Superior" = 194sq f. With Electric kettle. Seating area and space for unloading luggage. "Deluxe" = same as superior with addition of coffee /espresso maker. I was promised that some one would contact me with a resolution. Few days later they did sent me an email containing the "The 25% discount (VAT not included) to be applied to the FLEXIBLE RATE" good through end of year (2022). But considering that I have no plans to visit Europe any time soon - it is pretty useless to me. Sorry to say, but that is not a satisfactory resolution, but bait and switch situation that left me feel tricked. Other then this issue hotel room, location and service was very good.
My daughter and I visited Hotel Oro Blu for the first time last October. Since then we have been back three times. We chose this hotel because it is located right at the metro station to go downtown to the city center/Duomo and has parking in the building attached to the hotel. The first time we stayed at a hotel closer to the center but it is a nightmare to drive in the center and it is forbidden to drive on some of the streets. So for us it is better to have easy access to parking and the metro and not have to deal with the crazy driving in the center. Hotel Oro Blu also has larger than average rooms for hotels in Milan so there is plenty of room for luggage, The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is cute bar next door. But the main reason we keep returning is the staff at Hotel Oro Blu. Everyone from the front desk managers to the maids have been kind and helpful. Especially one front desk manager Matteo who makes us feel welcome every time we arrive welcoming us back and helping us with our luggage. They really make an extra effort to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. For example, one time the ice maker was out of ice so they ran next door to the bar and filled up an ice bucket for me. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Milan and Hotel Oro Blu!
We were picked up directly from the airport to the hotel at about 8 pm. The door was very small. The front desk was very enthusiastic after entering. The hotel felt that the equipment was very old. That machine was broken ... and then I kept repairing the machine until it took me 30 minutes! Because I wasn't sure if the card could be used, I asked a little brother to accompany me, and said that if it wasn't available, let the little brother come down and change it for me. Sure enough, I couldn't open it.
This card is a big bug. I returned to the hotel late the next night. This card has been unable to open the door. We live on the 3rd floor. Go down and get the magnetic card strip to open the door again. No, go downstairs, just back and forth 4 times! The last time I asked her to accompany me directly! If not, I won't go on! It's okay to drive!
Breakfast at this hotel is OK Eggs Bacon, Fruit Bread! Both yogurt! The fruit is the same for three days! There are only two coffee machines, and one is always broken! As many people arrive, the coffee machine lined up! The place to eat breakfast is a bit small. It is crowded after 8:30, and many people have nowhere to sit! My mother and I rushed to eat to give up seats!
Very close to the subway purple line, 6-8 minutes walk away!
There are also some pizza shops and small supermarkets opened by individuals, and there are also pharmacies opposite!
The hotel room is small, the beds are small and too soft, but the air conditioning is nice and warm! We arrived at the end of November, it was raining, it was cold, and the hot water was good!
This hotel is very poorly soundproofed. My mother and I were able to sleep well, even if the sound of the corridor was very loud in the middle of the night!
The hotel are awesome and the breakfast are so delicious and the cleanliness of room are so clean and i want to go back again to check in the owner are so kind. The bed are so fluffy and comfortable and the smell of the room are good. And the good thing is the hotel are near at duomo like 15 mins
I work in the hotel industry currently and for few years now and I am actually shock how they call this a 4* hotel. I’ve stayed in a 2* hotel with a better service and amenities. I rang down asking for slippers the concierge/ night receptionist has said they do not do them although I have seen him gave it to another guest when I went down. I also phoned down as the room did not have a TV remote they said he can’t do anything. There was no room amenities which I sort of understand as Covid guidelines changed hotel restrictions. But I just found it so rude and ignorant as they couldn’t assit me any further like as if well deal with it. This is not the customer service you’d expect in a 4star hotel which effects the brand name of the Accor group too especially to their members. I am very disappointed and very shock. I understood about the long queue for check in because of airport guest obviously and flights so all come together at once understandable but not being able to assist guest further with queries and Saying one thing to one guest and another to the next is just abit rude. Very disappointing. The people on the bar were lovely however despite them being closed and takeaways are closed they still tried to help and have us complimentary chips. We haven’t eaten all day nor we were meant to stay as we had a few issues but they were lovely. Just customer service in the front desk unsatisfied. I understand he was alone but no need to show favouritsm and rudeness. The plugs don’t work in the room. I did not even receive an apology nor anything…. Which surprised me even more. From then I just didn’t bother to even asked or anything it wasn’t even that I was complaining to him I was just asking if I can get a to remote as I’m paying for this type of experience… you wouldn’t never say no to a guest to watching to lr to do anything or even just apologise and explain there’s no spares that would be efficient and acknowledge it but nope
The front desk staff is very welcoming. The equipment is very complete, although it is a little small but basically can meet the space requirements. Clean and very good. On arrival, the hotel seemed nice enough. The entrance, reception and communal area was decorated nicely and was clean. The hotel is very dark due to the decor which is of course just down to personal taste. On first glance, the room seemed nice and was well equipped with everything needed and acceptably clean. However, the decor was actually rather scruffy and in need of some attention, in particular the bathroom. If we had planned on spending more time in the room other than for sleep and a quick shower I think we would have asked for a different one. The shower was in a state of poor repair - the shower head spurted out in all different directions and actually went over the glass screen, the shower door did not open and close smoothly and needed a good push and pull which had resulted in a very bad job of the hinges being fixed to the wall. It felt like it could be dangerous if pulled too hard, the shower leaked right out along the floor almost to the bathroom door. All the bathroom fixtures and fittings seemed cheap and not what you’d expect in a luxury hotel as described. The toiletries provided appeared to be half full and not replaced for new guests. It also didn’t appear to be cleaned to a high standard. The bed however, was comfortable which is what you need after exploring a city and doing lots of walking. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not seem to work properly and was stuck at one temperature. The staff however, are a credit to the hotel and all very friendly and helpful which was lovely, especially the staff who were around during breakfast who went the extra mile.
The environment is great, the room air is fresh, it is quiet on the shopping street, and the service staff is good. It is a 15-minute walk from the cathedral and a 15-minute walk from the train station. The shopping street of Milan is nearby
