4.49km from Giardino dei SaporiWe visited this hotel as a school party. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is probably not for you. In our experience with 37 pupils and 5 staff it was the best place we have taken a large group to and is our second visit since 2015 owing to what it offers our children. The rooms were clean, air conditioning worked fine, beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean although the showers are small and the screens are dated, (plenty of hot water with good pressure though), fresh bed linen and towels daily, food was good quality, pool exceptional (with lifeguard on duty at all times keeping the pool clean and safe), bar prices fair, restaurant was well organised considering the volume of people using it. The site is safe and secure. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. I’ll say it again because too many people have moaned about the staff - we found them polite, helpful and courteous at all times. Maybe that’s because we treated them in the same manner. Nothing was too much trouble, including ensuring our gluten and nut free pupils were treated with care in the restaurant. There were a few issues with three rooms on initial inspection that were remedied by the following day (socket, toilet, bathroom window). The hotel is large, busy and popular with school groups, so it is not especially quiet, but was largely settled by 11pm in our block. There were also small groups of adults and a few local families there. If staying here you will definitely need a car to get around. 20 mins to Verona and Lake Garda, 90 mins to Venice.
