|14.33km from city center30 euros a night hotel, at the foot of the ** mountain, 30, 40 minutes drive from the city center, the price is too high, the facilities are old and I don’t think it is, the Greek boss is not good in English, but the win is friendly, and it also catches up with the snow, so I stayed decisively for 10 days, 12 days of leisure time is too good

Markopoulo
|6.32km from city centerFrom the beginning,
Briefly describe the journey: Couples travel freely, come to Europe to play, and visit Greece by the way. There is a five-hour time difference. Let's 12 o'clock noon and 7 o'clock in the morning in Greece. Stayed at the beach for three days in the first four days, and went to Santorini for one day in the middle.
In the evening of the fifth day, go to Marco Polo at Walaba Homestay,
It was dark after seven o'clock in the evening, and the taxi was walking along the dirt road, and there was a large herd of goats. The darkness and lights in front of a hut in the introduction picture were a bit desolate and terrifying. Taxi to the airport is 15 Euros, and the store can pick you up (12 Euros).
The girl who opened the door was a very quiet and beautiful young Greek girl. She entered and saw a large courtyard. Then she entered a lobby house with modern and casual layout. Then she entered the straight-wing room with a glass roofed courtyard. A guest was eating. , I entered the room directly. I read the reservation number and didn’t even look at my passport. The big bed was 1.5 meters under the room. There was a loft (two beds) on the wooden stairs, except for slippers and dental appliances, and four bottles of water. Two doors lead to the outside yard.
I did not order a meal. The couple ordered a light meal (arranged by the store), a large bottle of ice water, a small plate of salty cheese, a bowl of fennel and roll salad, a plate of toasted bread sticks, and another pot of homemade The taste of wine (about one catty) is orthodox. For dinner, one plate of red pepper and vegetable puree, one plate of tomato (potatoes have minced meat,,,,), the amount is not large, after drinking two pots of wine, two people took the second The daily breakfast is 32 Euros, an average of 8 Euros per person per meal. The price is not expensive compared to the local price, the taste is orthodox, and it feels okay.
I didn't have anything to do at night. I went to bed more than ten o'clock early, and I slept very comfortably. I got up early in the morning and got out of the yard. I suddenly found a charming world! ! !
I don’t know if you have seen the movie ”Walk in the Clouds”. The scenery there is very similar!
The yard is divided into front and back, two rows in front and back of the house, connecting the wing house in the middle, there are about six or seven rooms,,,,
The boss is a middle-aged woman, very kind... There is a small church in front of the house, and the Athens airport is in the distance. During the day, the sound has little effect. I just wake up in the morning and feel the noise. In the evening, the sound is gone by ten o'clock. In the morning, the sound of the plane is gone. Quiet and relaxing! Don't talk about the picture! ! ! !

|5.44km from city centerRenoved room (32) just a few years ago: average but functional size, clean, beautiful big shower with several types of water jets. Good littery. Small terrace. Friendly staff and prompt to give information if necessary. The hotel is located along a large road which makes it quite noisy: you need to provide earlocks (it is the negative point) Ideal location in front of a beautiful sandy beach with bars, tram station and, therefore, 5 min from Glyfadas with restaurants and shops, 2 streets far from the hotel in front of the cake hospital, one street far from a shopping center then a park, ... and for those who have to go to the airport: just in front of the bus stop X96 (attention: buy at the tram stop machine) We paid 155€ via B for 3 nights: excellent quality-price ratio; in season, it is logically cheaper;))

|5.04km from city centerBreakfast and dinner are normal
The waiter sometimes really goes somewhere
Nice room, clean and comfortable bed
The swimming pool is huge and there is another indoor
Cross the beach on the crosswalk
We provided free breakfast, maybe we arrived early
But with the later development of complexity, maybe many people leave, the room is not extended, you can only take a bath in the sauna, and they want more than just a shower
Someone celebrated something, and the swimming pool closed earlier to provide special services.
The swimming pool will be cleaned up an hour after opening, you have to wait
But the overall cost of the weekend is okay

|3.49km from city centerAlthough a bit hard to find in the village (tip: don't use a GPS but Google Maps instead) we found it, of course on a hill ;o). We were helped by the owner of the small OK supermarket next to the main road. We arrived late in the evening so we could not see the surroundings. But the next morning we were pleasantly suprised. It is quiet, except for a few barking dogs. Very lovely, helpful and friendly owners, breakfast is simple and more then OK. The appartment has a communal living/breakfast room and a fully equipped kitchen with free thea and coffee supplies. Privacy enough. The room and bathroom were clean.

|0.87km from city centerThe Margi understands the hospitality business. Well trained staff, catering to the needs and expectations of its clients and excellent response time to requests. The rooms are lovely though the double rooms are small and lack in cupboard space. We stayed in the only junior suite and it was very nice and comfortable with a large and well appointed bathroom and lots and lots of storage space. It’s a shame the hotel only has one such room. The massages at the spa are well worth trying. Book early as it’s hard to get a slot.

|1.85km from city centerFrom the arrival in the hotel you feel welcomed already. The girl on the reception is giving you details about everything what you need during your stay with very big smile :). The room is having nice beds really good working air-condition and for overnight this is more then enough. A have ordered a transport for the next day and came very nice drive with very nice car. All the staff are speaking fluently at least English ( the girl speak also very good Russian). I can only recommend the hotel. Thank you!!!

|0.16km from city centerI loved this hotel, it was everything I needed for an overnight stay. Close to the beach for an afternoon stroll and plenty of places to eat and have a beer. They arranged taxis for me and the communication was great. I would just add though, the room was small, fine for me, but for two it would have been a little cramped. A full length mirror on the wall would have been nice, and more hooks for towels please. Small adjustments but otherwise perfect, thank you.

|1.5km from city centerThe photos tied to this hotel is NOT the photos of the hotel. My cab from the airport did not know where this hotel located, got lost and left me across the street from the location. The woman that runs this place is a stickler and all she cares about is money. The door to the room, does not lock very well. The sliding door to the balcony also does not close very well. The room was very old fashioned. It was okay clean - I did see a worm crawling near the curtain next to the balcony door. Breakfast is a rip off. Too expensive for a couple slices of toast and one hard boiled egg, Don't get breakfast here. Was the room spacious? Yes, but I felt unsafe as the doors did not lock well. The decor and furnishings as mentioned were from the 50's. Overall, you can do better. Pick someplace else that will be closer to the beach. Also, this place is not very close to town, so you are better off renting a car or cabbing it to town. By the way, got stuck in that elevator, it took me to the basement and was stuck there for awhile. It's a death trap, don't use it.

|0.45km from city centerA 20 minute ride from Athens airport and a five minute walk to the Rafina ferry docks, Avra has modern, sleek lines, nice room furnishings, and a very contemporary ambiance. The beds were as to be expected in Greece; without splurging on ultra luxury, you can expect single, double, and queen beds for about 100 Euro. Ours had three beds and a balcony with a sea view. Avra Hotel is perfectly located for walking to many restaurants, the area platiea, and shopping. A powerful a/c unit was helpful to cool down after exploring. Caution: If your reservation receipt shows a 12 noon checkout show the front desk or they will insist that you leave at 11 am.

|1.86km from city centerWe arrivwd late at night. Due to communication with the owner we found the place pretty fast and managed to get in, as mentioned - with the guidance files sent to us by the owner. The place is very pleasent, it was a very quiet night. The shower worked good and the aircondition was quiet, too. The one and only thing we missed was - a complementry bottle of water (since we know you shouldn't drink tap water in Greece, in most cases). But since this is the only fault found - I hivhly rcommend the place!

|15.8km from city centerWe were winging this vacation and booking things on the fly. We came across this hotel and asked for a room. Although she was pretty full, she found us a room. This is an older hotel but it was clean, roomy, and comfortable. We had a huge balcony facing the ocean. This hotel has a laid back vibe, so if you are up tight, look else where. The front desk lady, owner?, was really cool. She helped us to order food (because the menu was all in Greek) and when it was delivered, she just paid for it for us and we settled it up later. It was close to the beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and it had a fantastic, huge pool, especially for a hotel. The pool was clean and was a good temperature. There was a good amount of parking just behind our room. We thought it was priced well for that area.

|3.31km from city centerIf you are looking for a CLEAN, efficient, and hospitable experience, search no more! We recently stayed one night before our trip home. The free shuttle service was dependable and a wonderful amenity to get us to and from the airport. Upon arrival, the staff was pleasant and informative. My husband and I, along with our young children, had adjoining rooms. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. We were very happy with the air conditioning since it was hot in Athens. The breakfast buffet was extensive to include fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and Greek pastries. We made a reservation for our shuttle to the hotel when we arrived. This hotel was beyond efficient. We highly recommend this hotel!

|1.88km from city centerWe had a 16 hour layover between flights at Athens airport and wanted a place close to the airport to relax. We booked a night at the Villa d’Irene, where we were treated like honored guests. George met us at the airport to drive us to their guesthouse and later drove us back to the airport. We got to rest in one of their beautiful rooms and took a nice walk along the coast to a great restaurant that George recommended to us. George and his parents, Theo and Giota were very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with them. The rooms are new and everything worked wonderfully. They way the rooms were decorated, with a combination of modern and antique furnishings, made them feel more like a home than a hotel. This is an ideal place to stay when you want to be near the airport in Athens.

|1.79km from city centerThe behaviour of the property was completely unacceptable, as you can see on the website they say you can cancel bookings for free. (big lie) I had booked and one day before I flew to Greece I was positive to the Coronium. So they banned me from flying. I immediately emailed to cancel my booking and if the money could be returned. One day after I was still in the outside, I got a telephone. In the record they told me that I should have a mail column before I arrived to be an indicator of cancellation and not to update after the scheduled arrival day and many other excuses. I just confirmed them the email I had in a column they started to turn them back to me saying that the company's policy is not to make refunds, etc. That I RESULT them AND I RECOMMEND TO ALL STAKE INTERESTED FROM THE REQUIREMENTS

|0.74km from city centerThe Divani Apollon Suites are effectively a pension to the main hotel, the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso. We think that some reviews on this page must relate to the main hotel rather than the Suites because they are at odds with our experience, especially when they talk about sea views and spectacular sunsets. Our balcony had a view of the utilities area of the main hotel on the opposite side of the road. The only way we could get a sea view was lean out over the balcony and crane our necks to the left. Even then, it was a thin sliver of sea between the hotels that otherwise blocked our view (check it out on Google Maps). We checked in at the main hotel and were then taken fifty metres up the road, crossing the street to the suites. The lobby of the Suites is impressive but maybe this opulence is intended to distract one from the faint whiff of drains in that area. We took the small lift to our room on the third floor. The room was very average without the feel of luxury we expected from a five-star hotel. We had just left a cruise ship at Piraeus and the bathroom on the ship was bigger than the one at the Suites. The bath is so narrow that we do not know how anyone even slightly overweight could ever fit into it. The breakfast was good and varied and we chose to sit on a narrow veranda outside. Sadly, it looked like nobody had swept under the tables for weeks. The outside area was generally tatty and the constant traffic noise made it a less than relaxing experience. At one point when we were in our room, the Maid attempted to enter, even though the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign was illuminated (perhaps she does not understand English). On another occasion we were called by reception to ask whether someone from maintenance could check our lights, as they were not working properly on our floor. To sum up, we got the impression that the Suites were the poor relation to the main hotel. Yes, you can use all the facilities at the main site and the beach, which were very impressive, but the Suites building is so clearly older and the accommodation certainly does not have the look and feel of a five-star hotel. If you wish to book the Divani Apollon, make sure your room is in the main hotel and not in the Suites building. Reading the description on Trip Advisor, I’m not quite sure why I am supposed to find a ‘minibar, fridge, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi to be ‘romantic’.

|5.53km from city centerStayed here for seven nights , and honestly couldn’t say anything negative about this place . It was our first time in Greece so we weren’t sure what we were getting ourselves into but this hotel did not disappoint. The staff were excellent, very attentive and very friendly! Our room was beautiful, very modern and very clean . Comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom. Loved the open shower ! The area was good , the beach is on the opposite side of the hotel , Athens sea side .. Was difficult to find at first …but other than that it’s fine the beach is beautiful. On the same side you have trams that can take you into the small towns or into Athens city . Didn’t have any complications .. was very straight forward . The town was like a 10 -15 min walk away .. which we didn’t mind , great shops and great coffee . We decided to go with the bed and breakfast package .. we also had a taxi pick us up from the airport (which the hotel booked )was fantastic. Breakfast was good , the tea and biscuits were delicious. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate on going back ! I’d really recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice hotel for a low price !

|0.71km from city centerWe were there before a wedding and despite all our noise to get ready, meet at the lobby, circulate with kids, make it to the cars and return late in the evening; everybody was so nice and accommodating to us. I need to mention the beautiful blonde lady on the bar, who saw me struggling to find the door in and it was so hot outside .. She ran to open the door to me, tried to make me feel better and offered me cold water and a refreshing cranberry and pineapple juice. On the evening when we returned with an old granny, a baby and a stroller; though she was already off-duty and opening her car's door to leave; she ran to help us and took the stroller up the little staircase in the entrance. Also, the car service the hotel ordered for us was so very professional, they even brought an extra car because we were a big group, with a baby. These gests are very precious unto my heart and make me so happy and definitely recommending the place. Thank you.

Agios Panteleimon
|1.43km from city centerChose this location as we wanted to visit Athens and Marathon. Booked one week with EasyJet and paid £100 for taxi transfers to and from hotel and airport. All inclusive holiday and couldn’t fault the food apart from the usual problem of servery food, heat. Local drinks included were as expected. Room in main hotel was comfortable and serviced daily. Lifts worked well. Did some research and decide to book a taxi to take us into Athens. Cost 100 Euros return, booked for 07.15 to return at 16.30. Dropped off and picked up at the Acropolis. Took 55 mins both ways. Can go by local bus and metro for much cheaper but will not get you there until much later when the queue is half a mile long! We were fortunate that the day we visited was a museum day and all entrances were free. Worth checking if any of these dates coincide with your holiday. Otherwise 20 Euros each just for Parthenon People who had pre booked on the internet or cruise trip did not get refunds. Paid 20 Euros each for hop on/off bus. Spent most of the time stuck in traffic. Would recommend walking. Paid 12 Euros for a taxi to Marathon race museum. Only 2 Euros each. Museum is large and very interesting. Then taxi to Marathon beach 8 Euros and walk back along the beach to the hotel. From hotel beach gate exit turning left takes you to Marathon beach, 30 mins walk. Turning right takes you to Nea Makri harbour, 50 mins walk. Hope this information is helpful, enjoy your holiday 🌞

|4.9km from city centerFirst of all, it is important to distinguish this, Mati Hotel, from the nearly-adjacent Hotel Mati. We chose to stay here as a moderately-priced and relatively close alternative to the pricey hotels near Athens airport. The hotel is dated in many respects, including the absence of electronic room keys. Nothing else appears to have been updated in recent years. The hallways seemed to easily carry sound from one end to the other. The hotel’s website lists parking as “Free! Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed.” I suppose that is technically true, but there are only a very few spaces by the entrance, and as far as I can tell, the rest you must find along the streets of Mati. Breakfasts were fine, and the staff worked hard to keep refreshing its items. I mention working hard because there were at least two different tour bus groups that stayed overnight. I do not know if that is true during peak season, but in our case, it was hard to locate an available breakfast table. The staff was wonderful in showing us to one. We felt hotels closest to Athens airport were significantly overpriced for value received. More moderately-priced options were harder to find, and in that respect, Mati Hotel satisfactorily served its purpose, but one night was enough.
