Just beside La Jolla Beach, the sea view room, the balcony can see the sunset over the sea, the environment has nothing to say. Just outside the Ctrip price, there are 32 knife taxes per day and 40 knife parking fees. 1500 per night, small expensive, the only drawback

Was provided early Check in which is always nice. Front Desk Staff was efficient, courteous, and glad to see us. The room has new drapes, new coach, new chairs, new carpet, and an ergonomic chair. Plenty of outlets for equipment. Room was spotless, towels were substantial, Keurig Coffee Maker made a nice cup of coffee (no matter where you stay always run some water through any coffee maker to make sure it is clean). AC was efficient and quiet. LG large flat screen TV’s, with nice selection of cable channels. All lights were fully functional, and excellent lighting in bathrooms. Plenty of bath product and soap (liked the soap). Rooms were quiet, bed was very comfortable as were pillows. Important note: This hotel has double split pain windows to insure a quiet stay. However the HVAC system (AC/Heat) requires it to be on and working to eliminate exterior noise that will come through any external vent system. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the service was excellent. They have a value priced breakfast buffet that is worth the price of admission and includes handmade omelettes or pancakes. Coffee was very good. Hope they are able to go from throw away untensils and plates to regular ones soon. We look forward to visiting this property in the future.

Such a lovely property! Felt like I was in Tuscany, beautiful landscaping , old world charm to the buildings , it has it all. It even smells delicious here with all the blooming foliage. After checking in, which was simple and quick, we were shown to our beautiful room. It was spacious and well appointed, a big cozy bed ,super soft linens and a sitting room with a lovely fireplace.Didn’t take long to get down to the beautiful spa and pool area, again incredibly gorgeous. The pool is the perfect temperature with such soft lovely salt water. We enjoyed a delicious lunch alfresco in or cabana. Yummy Brussel sprouts and a fresh delicious salad from the chefs garden! Also did a little shopping in the super cute boutique. We finished out the evening with an amazing dinner at Avant. The service was impeccable ,the food delicious and incredibly pretty! Lovely wine choices and super fun cocktails too. Oops, forgot to mention a quick game of golf between pool and dinner! Had a really good time riding around the beautiful grounds, seeing some wildlife down by the pond and having a cocktail in the golf cart! Only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

Parking is free, surrounded by sanatoriums, white communities, across the road is costco, five minutes to the supermarket and shopping, is a town business center, driving half an hour from San Diego, cost-effective, air is particularly good, looking for a public Park, on the edge of the elementary school, the amusement facilities are much stronger than the domestic community. It is suitable for slow life and slow pace to stop and live for a few days.

Suitable for self-driving tour, kitchen, you can eat yourself. Breakfast is average, but bread, sausage, eggs, yogurt, coffee, etc. are all available. Hotel service is very good, I have a kettle at the front desk. There are gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby, and some distance, there are supermarkets, bookstores and so on.

I read other reviews before our stay. We were expecting a rat trap! The room was very clean. Nicely appointed. The grounds were well maintained with adequate parking. Unfortunately the grassy area to walk pets obviously was used by patrons that don't pick up after their pets. Breakfast was warm and sufficient. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our over night visit very much.

Enjoyed a nice couple of days stay. The complex is a little older but very clean and cozy. We had a 2 bedroom & 2 bath suite with a kitchenette. I definitely recommend a 2 bedroom if traveling with kids. The kitchen is small but it made it easy to fix a quick snack or reheat leftover. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was tasty, sitting area wasn’t too small & there was extra sitting area outside. Property had tennis court, basketball & pingpong. I will definitely stay here again should the need arise.

Hotel is on the lower end of the Marriott chain in terms of budget but still delivered on expectations. The hotel is looking a little tired but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower wasn’t the most powerful but it works. Housekeeping is on demand and coffee/cups can be obtained from reception if you run out. Breakfast has just enough choice but limited different daily options. I had a room facing the freeway which I initially was a little concerned about being a light sleeper; I didn’t get woken once. There was white noise from the traffic but it wasn’t intrusive.

Just an average hotel. It's clean, but tired. Beds are fine, bathrooms are fine, and pool is fine. You'll sleep fine here, but I probably wouldn't return to it and would rather try a Holiday Inn Express or Best Western instead. Pool - It looked ok, but pretty cold (checked in Feb). The hot tub is more of a warm tub. If I had small kids, I bet they'd take a quick dip in the 77-78 degree larger pool and then hang out in the hot tub. Breakfast - Seems like the standard fare of eggs from a mix, muffins, bagels, and the oh so favorite of absolutely no one, red delicious apples. Why are those at every single hotel free breakfast. Would have loved to have seen something special or different at this hotel. We ended up going out to somewhere else for breakfast. Rooms - Clean, but kind of out dated. Bathroom had a bit of mold in the calking, but overall it was fine. Internet - I'm typing this review on the provided free internet. I'm getting 3Mbit down and 4Mbit up so not exactly the fastest, but it will let you type up TripAdvisor reviews. Google Maps struggles to draw directions and FaceTime doesn't work that well. Might be a variety of reasons so your milage may vary. Parking - By far my biggest complaint. There is tons of parking everywhere. I don't know how anyone would get here unless they had a car. They charge $5 per night to park at the hotel. There is no value add here except what feels like a money grab. I suppose you could park at a nearby business park, but parking at the hotel is probably your best bet. Why not just wrap the charge into the room rate? They don't provide any sort of added security and there's no shortage of spots available.

Great location near the gaslamp, parking on scene is a big nope but there is a great structure nearby called "park it on market" I was able to park before checking in for a one night stay and get in my car the next afternoon for $16 total, well worth it. Check in was fun asf, free house bevvy to start the experience is absolutely my vibe, and standard drink prices were decent for the setting, love Love LOVE the games and general house party vibe. The room, was.... Tiny, and guess what? Still more comfy than the hoody your ex won't give back. Can see that the design is meant for people who have more in life happening then the square footage of their room. Perfect for a couple nights though I can see it getting weird on a long term stay. No view expect some weird lights in the main corridor, but if not for those lights I daresay i might have spotted some flesh from another persons room, so smart design choice there. No breakfast makes me sad, I wouldn't have eaten it anyway but I want my money's worth you know??? (gotta love that some people won't read the sarcasm there.) But considering the amount of local places to grab any kind of grub you could wish upon a star, I think most will be able to survive not being served a buffet of cheap over touched food. will be back!

The hotel is relatively close to UCSD. It is about 10 minutes walk to the Sixth College, and there are whole food, pharmacy, movie theater and gas station within 6 minutes away. Highly recommended. In addition, the hotel's free coffee taste is okay, the car is parked on the roadside for free, and the parking space is not too tight.

The hotel’s swimming pool and the jacuzzi next to the pool are great, and there is also a bar next to the pool. When the bonfire is lit in the evening, it feels particularly good. Very suitable for drinking and chatting ~ very comfortable. It’s not very hot in San Diego in August, especially at night. The swimming pool is still very cold, so it's good to go to the bubble bath and grill. The hotel is divided into west building and north building, with different scenery on both sides. Some rooms have bathtubs and some do not. There are shops like Starbucks downstairs. Very convenient for communication and travel~ I have stayed in other hotels in San Diego, I have only stayed in this one in the city, but I feel like I will stay here next time I travel.

We were called three days before we were to arrive to see if we would like to change our reservation from a king to a queen with two beds. We said no we want our original reservation we made 2 1/2 months ago with a king bed and a balcony not over the pool. When we got there we were given a room with a balcony at the end that only had room to stand on. Attaching a picture so you can see it. We came down and complained and they gave us a room over the pool where we did not want. After some negotiation and a little heartburn we eventually ended up in our original requested room but we had to stay in the room over the pool for one night. This is a small hotel and there are not very many rooms available away from the street or the pool area.

The location is great, in the gaslamp quarter. About half an hour walk from the famous Balboa Park. It is not too far from the port of San Diego. Many bars and restaurants downstairs. Good is very convenient, and bad is very noisy at night. The choice for nightlife is right here. The music downstairs is a lot of Latin and there are street bands. Okay. The staff were very welcoming. Will organize a city tour. Breakfast is average, no milk. The decoration is very unique, the patio is very warm, but unfortunately there is no time to enjoy. Washing clothes one dollar at a time, drying one dollar. Would consider here if I return.

American breakfast is nothing to eat, the room is small, we are twin rooms, there is no space for extra beds, but the bed is full, with two children no problem. The entrance to the room is the marina, which is no more than 5 meters apart. It is convenient to park from the lobby to your own row. On the other side of the hotel, crossing the road is the port, just to see a destroyer leaving the port, and two sea stallion helicopters flying over, many people are fishing. The hotel has two swimming pools with a matching spa pool. A big one is deep and small is suitable for children to play.

The three waiters at the front desk are very nice and patiently answer your questions. Note that this hostel plus hotel is not 24 hours, you must check in before 11pm. No one at the front desk after 11 o'clock, remember to confirm with the hotel in advance. Breakfast is mainly bread and yoghurt. It ’s no problem to be full. The bathroom is super large. There is a separate kitchen in the dormitory room for many people. The stove is complete, which means less utensils. You can make the seafood you buy. Remember to buy the seasoning yourself. The only problem with the room was the lack of heating. The location is in Little Italy, and buses and trams are nearby.

We were in San Diego for one of our very best friends’ wedding and chose this hotel since it was nearby and our preference is Marriott. Our stay was wonderful; we found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The front desk staff to be very friendly and always helpful. I’d like to make special note of Tiffany, who went above and beyond. From the moment we called to request the shuttle (and early check in since we had just arrived from the east coast), she took exceptionally good care of us - promptly, proficiently and always with a smile. When we mentioned that it was my birthday and we had a nice evening planned, she thoughtfully took a birthday card and goodie bag to our room as a surprise. Unfortunately she was already off duty when we returned to the room to see it, but her extra kind gesture was much appreciated. As someone that exemplifies Marriott’s core values (putting people first, pursuing excellence, embracing change, acting with integrity and serving our world - found on Marriott website), if there is another way I can submit her for an award please let me know. Thank you!

This is a nice, clean hotel with a beautiful social area and pool in the center. The room was very nice and surprisingly quiet. The parking is cheap for the area at $12/day. The bed was even comfortable. I would give it 5 stars BUT the restaurant was closed, the parking lot is in rough shape and, at the time, there was no place to eat at within a few miles on a Sunday afternoon except McDonalds. To nitpick, the kid sized bathtub was unexpected, and a little strange. IF everything were to open back up in the area and they repaved the parking, it would be a nice resort in the northern San Diego area.

The hotel manager is quite rude! It is estimated that he discriminates against the country. I was maliciously opposed to me that morning because I complained to their hotel headquarters that the air conditioner was not muted and the carpet was cleaned. At the time I was working on the documents in the lobby, he asked me to go back to my room immediately! Later, two staff members told me with a tough attitude that they should find them. Not only will I not find them, I will complain to them at this headquarters!

Shout out to Drake and Corin. We were welcomed in as Titanium members. Our room wasn’t ready, and after a long day of travel at first it was a bummer but hey point us in the direction of coffee and we’ll be good! Drake directed us to Spill the Beans and said he would be in touch when the room was ready. Spill the Beans was awesome! And as promised not only did I receive a text message saying that our room was ready but he also called to let us know! By the time we got back to the hotel Corin was the new employee at the front desk and she was kind enough to include a buy one get one free offer for an alcohol beverage at the rooftop bar AND breakfast was included. WIN!!! Our room was clean upon arrival. The valet staff was nothing short of exceptional! The best part, was we had requested a 4pm check out as our flight doesn’t depart until 8pm, and Corin was very generous to oblige. Especially considering tomorrow in the Gas Lamp district will be very busy. It was extremely generous and we are beyond grateful for this extension of our room stay. Was truly a great stay for a Marriott property, we last stayed at the US Grant and well.. let’s just say the kindness was not as generous. Will definitely rebook at the Courtyard Marriott Gaslamp. Customer service 5 stars. Clean room 5 stars. Roof top bar 5 stars. Location 5 stars. Book your next stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I told my friends to forward my mail to the Pendry, I truly didn’t want to leave! Room service was delicious and so many great choices! It arrived SO quickly, even the table was decorated beautifully with a succulent! Even on our way to check out every staff person said good morning to us and asked us how our stay was.
