I was shocked to learn that this is only a 3-star property. The amenities make this an easy 4, and the staff cranks it up to a 5. The overall design coupled with the level of service we received here made me feel like I was walking into a high-end destination resort from the 1940s. We booked two soaker tub rooms. The rooms were spacious and well-planned. The lighting was inviting, there were plenty of outlets, and we had ample room for our luggage. We heard zero noise from outside, which was impressive considering the rooftop patio was right next door. I'm serious; we didn't hear a peep our entire stay. The in-room safe was a nice addition, especially with all the jewelry we picked up from street vendors a few blocks over. Wifi was strong throughout the property. Valet parking was fast and efficient. At $25 / day, I really wish they had a self-park option. However, Santa Fe is legendary for its lack of parking so I guess it washes out. The daily breakfast was arguably the best buffet-style breakfast you're going to get. As items ran out they were immediately replaced. The evening kickoff was well-run, though the first half hour is a little nuts. The complimentary dinner was fine for being free, though not anything special. Fortunately, if you want something different, there are dozens of local (non-chain!) restaurants within a short walk. The lobby felt like it was lifted from some grand 1940s destination resort, and the service from the staff matched that feeling. They were exceptionally helpful in pointing out things to do, restaurants to check out, and activities off the beaten path. We had to cancel some of our plans due to wildfires in the area and they were able to immediately rattle off a lot of alternatives. They acknowledged us every time we left and greeted us every time we returned. The overall quality of this property, coupled with the comfort and design of the rooms and the helpfulness of the staff has me dumbfounded that this isn't a 4- or 5-star resort. We often stay in higher-end resorts when we travel and I've stayed in many 5-star resorts that were not this well-run and well-maintained.

We splurged here staying 4 nights after 4 nights in Moab and one night in monument valley. We loved this hotel - the room was so nice - the fireplace and the bed was heavenly. The restaurant was excellent - especially the margaritas - both silver and gold coin. The staff were helpful - they were working non stop and you never saw them rattled - always smiling and always friendly. I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby as the city is quiet (the city of manana) until 930am. Again, the staff were great - the receptionists (and apparently the valets too) took a genuine interest and the housekeeping were 5*. We corresponded with the concierge prior to our arrival - Regina - who was a delight and helpful. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. A bit of advice - don’t forget you are 7,000+ feet above sea level - if you enjoy the margaritas in town they will impact you quicker. Drink lots of water😀.

We decided on a staycation for part of spring break! We chose the Eldorado, and were not disappointed. The minute I walked in to check in on a busy Friday afternoon, I was greeted by the best service! She was polite and went over lots of details about the room and property. The other 2 staff were busy checking in 2 large families and I overheard both parties telling the staff thank you for their great service. The room was beautiful, overlooking the rooftop heated pool and hot tubs! We went to Agave for drinks and appetizers and enjoyed the several unique and delicious margaritas. Again, the service was top notch! We enjoyed several trips to the hot tub and even had room service. Our breakfast was delivered in less than 15 minutes and was perfect. We spent the afternoon playing tourist on the Plaza. Each time we came and went, the valet staff greeted us and offered water. The suite was spacious and so cozy. I loved being able to make coffee, all essentials provided. And we put to use the fridge as well. The pull out sofa was the best snooze ever, as explained by our 6 year old. And our king size bed was the best as well! We cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend staying here, the service and location are top notch. I would expect nothing less, they have landed the best GM around. Thanks Adrian, we can't wait to enjoy everything this property has to offer again soon!

Driving up to an older two story building with trailer homes on one side and an old strip mall on the other didn’t inspire confidence. But things change immediately upon walking in, where it looks like a 2022 Fairfield Inn. Front desk was friendly and got me checked in fast. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of hot water and pressure. Mini-fridge and microwave. There’s a guest laundry off the lobby. Breakfast was the usual fare, though, oddly, while they had hot dishes, there was no bread or English muffins, much less a toaster. Anything you could want—Walmart, Target, Smiths supermarket, mall—is no more than a five minute drive up or down Cerillos. And the El Comal Mexican in that strip mall is pretty good. If you’re looking for a room with a view, this isn’t it. If you need a place to rest, this is fine.

Like going back in time. The architecture and decor is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and all features have been updated without loosing the style of way back when. All the staff I encountered was so helpful, friendly and responsive. Each room is a bit different. I saw 3 as some of my relatives also stayed there. The bathrooms are very up to date and the beds are extremely comfortable. My only concerns: I stayed 3 nights and the 3rd night I could hear voices from another room well into the night. The second night it snowed and early (6:30am) the next morning I was awakened by someone clearing snow. I would definitely stay the again and I would recommend it to others.

New management. The hotel I stayed at 7 years ago had lovely ethnic furnishings, that made you feel you were in New Mexico. The current rooms show nothing similar. The rooms are being selectively upgraded ie, the rooms are being given bit of a shine, but the tired, grubby bathrooms are left untouched. It is a sprawling place, well positioned for a walk into town, or to the Railyard district, which still hasn’t fully succeeded after 7 years Check in was dire. I arrived early, was allocated a room number. I returned at 3.30 and was told it would be ten minutes. Ten minutes later, it was still ten minutes. Finally I was given a room. The night was sub zero, and there was one thin blanket, which was hopelessly inadequate. There were no additional blankets in the room. The heater made too much noise, so that wasn’t an option , as it, too, would keep us awake. Adding the check in, the tired bathroom and the lack of sleep, it was a poor stay. Management should do a lot better; attention to detail just isn’t good enough

Older hotel that appears to be "renovated". Upon arriving the front desk staff was not too welcoming. We stayed in a two room suite. The room furthest from the air conditioner stayed warm. The faucet in the bathtub constantly dripped. The room/furnishings were worn but clean. Bathroom was extremely small, but lavatory area was located on the outside of the bath so it made it convenient for multiple people getting ready. The road noise was loud but subsided during the nighttime hours. We didn't care for the blinds on the windows - let in a lot of light during the day and street lights at night. Would have preferred something that blocked the light a little more. Breakfast was good.

I returned again to this excellent property after a two year absence from New Mexico and I continue positively to be impressed with all that is offered for a decent value. The room I stayed several nights in was very clean, had working heat/fan/ac unit self modulated, spacious refrigerator, microwave, and SAT TV. The free breakfast is much better than the average fare for this motel level: regular or cheese omelettes are prepared to order. Parking is easy/safe and the location of this property along a major roadway is convenient for dining and shopping within a two block radius. The owners/managers Tapas & Amisha epitomize true hospitality as they (and staff) truly care about guests' comfort and satisfaction. This is the best value motel I have stayed at over many years of travel so highly recommend it.

The room was clean, the location was good and the rate was reasonable. (A resort fee is always irritating but that is all too common). Why the one star? They called me trying to sell vacation packages. I booked through Hotel Tonight and when I checked in they asked for a phone number. They sent a text to make sure all was well which was fine, but a month later, on a Saturday, I get a call trying to sell me vacation packages. I said “no thanks” and the telemarketer kept talking and talking. I had to yell to get her to stop talking long enough to tell them to never call again. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself. just don’t give them your phone number if you don’t want spam calls.

Travelled as two couples ( family ) Each had a king one room suite. This is a remodeled Comfort Inn. Beds were newer style and super comfortable, internet signal excellent, shower had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure, Tv was a newer model. Rooms and the whole property were immaculately clean and everything was fully operational. Customer service was impressive. Front desk ladies were very accommodating, pleasant and professional. We didn't have anything to complain about, so there were no issues that needed to be resolved. Pool was a little too cold for me, but hot tub was very relaxing and perfect temperature.

Located right on the somewhat busy Cerrillos Road, this DoubleTree property features really interesting architecture, such as the open lobby and grand fireplace that features ample daylight and comfortable lounges. The rooms are a great size with all room amenities being in good working condition. The room and bathroom were both very clean too. The only dings for this property are the relatively small parking lot which fills up petty quickly and the noise from Cerrillos Road - our fourth floor room faced the road and it was a little noisy for falling asleep.

Where to even begin? My husband and I booked a full buyout of The Parador for our wedding weekend in October and we couldn't have had a better experience. It was amazing to have all of our wedding attendees in the same hotel and Evan and his team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was accommodated. They helped us with catering recommendations, rehearsal dinner setup, and included many thoughtful touches throughout the weekend. The newly renovated rooms are beautifully done and the original rooms are spacious and artsy, in a great way! Everyone loved their rooms, the location (walkable to the Plaza, Railyard, and Canyon Road), and the kind staff who helped us throughout our stay. It was truly a dream weekend! Additionally, we love that The Parador is involved in the local arts community and hosts an artists in residence program, along with art for sale and community marketplaces and events. We could go on and on, but whether you're looking to stay at The Parador on your own or for a weekend buyout with loved ones, we definitely recommend booking here. Evan and his team are working on great things and really have a vision for The Parador, you should check it out!

This is an older hotel, so it could use an update. The biggest issue was that I found a small, empty liquor bottle wrapped inside one of the (clean??) bath towels. Another bath towel felt damp and kinda nasty, so it wasn’t used. One of the hand towels was dirty/stained as well…There was mold on the ceiling in the shower, and the floor wasn’t the cleanest either. The bed was clean and pretty comfortable. The property was pretty quiet and in a decent location. Even though I had two nights booked, the room keys were deactivated the first morning-not a huge deal, but did have to go to front desk and have them fix the issue. Saw a few other people have the same problem during the stay.. I wouldn’t stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend it. You can find nicer, cleaner places all over town in the same price range.

This hotel was ok but just barely. The room was barely cleaned enough to not be considered dirty. The room had a little porch to sit outside but someone was back there smoking and the smell of smoke kept wafting in our room. About that breakfast... I guess it was 8 items if you count the utensils and all the beverages they include. They had old pastries, gravy and biscuits, old, thick, burnt syrupy coffee, milk, juice, and one waffle maker. Ehh, it wasn't the best hotel we've ever stayed in but it wasn't the worst. We only paid like $70 a night for a double bed so we didn't feel totally ripped off. Probably won't stay here again if we ever come back to Santa Fe. The girl who check us in at night was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a great recommendation where to have to dinner that night. The clerk in the morning was there but she seemed totally spaced out. Not very helpful at all.
